Absolutely not. And whoever preached that needs to be walked out of any ministry.

2 Chronicles 9:30 & 31 talks about the death of Solomon. If there was something here that God wanted us to know about Solomon being "judged" or given reason to have gone to hell -- it would be right here:

"And Solomon reigned in Jerusalem over all Israel forty years. And Solomon slept with his fathers, and he was buried in the city of David his father: and Rehoboam his son reigned in his stead."

We learn more about Solomon's wisdom from God, testimony and sorrows in Song of Solomon, most of Proverbs and Ecclesiastes.

How could someone read that and say "Solomon went to hell?" My guess is this is one of those (of which I've unfortunately seen in this site's discussion) who deny eternal security. This is probably one of those people who believe we're not really born again and need works to maintain Salvation until death by misquoting scripture (by the way, that's a mixture of false teachings from the Roman Catholic church and Calvinism). What they've done (the popular preachers today and here) is frustrate the Grace of God and this leads them to believe "oh, did you read about what David did in the Bible? He backslid and lost his Salvation. He might have died and..."

Rebuke them with sound doctrine and stay far from them. They are wolves.

    Dear PA,

I never said that the word "Triune" was found in the scriptures? I was using the word triune as another word to reference Godhead.

There are three persons in the Godhead; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost; and these three are one God, they are the same in substance, equal in power and glory. The word "triune" is sometimes used to refer to this Godhead. Godhead is found in the scriptures.

    Colossians 2:9

"For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily."

    Merriam Webster Dictionary:

    Definition of godhead

1 : divine nature or essence

    2 capitalized

    a : GOD sense 1

b : the nature of God especially as existing in three persons.

So, Godhead is referring to three persons correct?

Triune also refers to 3 persons.

    Merriam Webster Dictionary:

    triune adjective

    Definition of triune

    : three in one:

a : of or relating to the Trinity

    the triune God

b : consisting of three parts, members, or aspects

If you find this concept difficult to understand, you are not alone.

    Pentecost Apostolic,

I have yet to see anyone here say there are three Gods. I have read, and I agree that God exists in three distinct, co-equal, and co-eternal beings, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. These are not three God's, but one. I agree with you that John 1:1 is referring to Jesus as God. There are many places in scripture that refer to Jesus as God. There are also places that refer to the Holy Spirit as God. But we also have God the Father. Again, not three separate Gods but one.

You bring up Ephesians 4:5, so I would like to comment on that verse. It says, "One Lord, one faith, one baptism." One baptism! I hate to be the bearer of bad news but Paul is not talking about water baptism. It was Paul who said in 1 Corinthians 12:13 that we are all baptized by one Spirit into the body of Christ.

It is a Hebrew phrase that Paul used to describe the salvation process, that when the Holy Spirit comes into a person's life, they are cleansed. It has nothing to do with water baptism. And baptism also means identification. In 1 Corinthians Chapter 10, the people in the wilderness were baptized unto Moses. There wasn't any water baptismal ceremony. But when they identified with him and went through the Red Sea, they called it baptism.

    Dear Madalyn

    I would say instead...

When a man cannot do anything it's God's turn to get in action. A part of each action belongs to man to do it (what he can) and the rest belongs to God to do it (what a man cannot do). This is from my experience in life.

    Dear Rebecca

I don't know if it can be used as a rule but the children of Israelites in the OT under 20 years old were allowed to enter the land if promise, where as their parents weren't. They were not held accountable for their sins, like revolting against God and Moses all the time. GBU

Dear Mike, no, you can't change the world as Christ did, but you never know whose life your walk with Christ will change. The Bible teaches us to be Christlike. He suffered more than you will ever suffer. Matthew 16:24 "Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me."

God is still on the throne, nothing gets by Him, He knows your situation. Psalm 46:1 Our Father may put on us more than we can bear, but not more than He can carry for us. God will never put more on you than you and Him can carry, together. "God is our refuge and strength; a very present help in trouble."

The Apostle Paul suffered from a condition the Bible doesn't reveal.

    Romans 12:7-10

7 And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.

8 For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me.

9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

    God bless you, Mike!

It all depends on the individual; if he/she knows without coercion on their own the reason and purpose that CHRIST came in the flesh; was the only begotten SON of GOD born of a virgin through miraculous conception by HOLY SPIRIT and was crucified for everyone's sin becoming our Passover; perfect sacrificial lamb without sin, rising 3 days later defeating death. Then the individual is at the age of accountability and is ready for baptism. If they know the reason for the baptism is to publicly show they know that CHRIST went in the tomb ( full submersion) and rose defeating death, them becoming a follower of CHRIST and a new person under CHRIST. I have known young children who were at the age and old people who weren't. Mark 10:14 CHRIST tells HIS disciples to let the children here HIM teach, some will take what HE said and understand. Bring up a child in teachings of the Bible Prov 22:6; Eph 6:4

Interesting quote. Still trying to discern it. James 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. I couldn't think of a verse about working that would hold this much promise. There might be some, but I couldn't think of any.

Giannis GBU I know you have many questions....As the N.T. is full of mysteries...Even Paul said i see like thru a Glass darkly, Even Paul cd not see clearly under early Church doctrine Nobody can see clearly under early Church doctrine...Thats y there are a Zilllion different Churches on every corner....There are not even 2 ppl that can agree on just 1 scripture in any Church.....It All goes back to the blindman...The Blindman cd not see clearly under the 1st anointing...Jesus had to anoint the blindman a 2 nd time b/f he cd see clearly...Thats us the Church we cannot see clearly under early Church doctrine....What i am trying to say is there has to be a 2 nd advent a 2 nd coming...The Church is symbolic of the blindman that can not see clearly under early Church doctrine.

...Thats y Paul is saying when that which is perfect is come that which is done in part ( early Church doctrine ) will be done away with...Paul said we see in part we prophesy in part etc ..That iMAGE in Daniel 2 was all in parts ..The gold and then the silver and then the bronze and the iron and the clay answer to the gold..Pastors th head Evangelists the silver and it goes down getting weaker as the deacons are the feet...But Daniel saw a stone cut without hands that completly destroyed the image....Thats y Paul is saying when that which is perfect is come that which is done in parts will be done away with..Which is early Church doctrine.

... Micah 5 tells us that God was gonna give them up till the woman is in birth pains etc... Micah 5 : 3 ...Which answer to the time Jesus told us of the night comes when no man can work...The great abomination of Desolation is now standing in the pulpits...Satan himself..Thats y there are a Zillion different Churches on every corner simply b/c nobody can see clearly under early Church doctrine...The Blindman answers to all the CHURCHES that cannot see clearly under early Church doctrine..WE need that 2 nd anointing...The book needs to be opened...2 nd coming.

The only way any of us know the difference between right and wrong at a young age is if we have been taught it from being very young , children are not born with knowledge or good manners or understanding , they are blank canvases , the adults around them need to be diligent in teaching their children . Eight is very young to expect a child to understand anything , you can train them but training isn't the same as understanding . I was in my late teens before I had any understanding of what Jesus's willing sacrifice for our sins was really about . Do you understand everything in the Bible ? I know I don't and I'm in my fifties . Understanding and wisdom comes with learning and prayer and life experience , children can be trained definately but it may be quite a while before they truly understand why they have been trained and what it all means . Children should be allowed to enjoy their childhood and not burdened with adult cares before they are adults , this is just my opinion . Much love to you in Christ .

"Certain disciples had been chosen , Christ showed Himself by many infallible proofs. Being seen of them forty days, speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of heaven."

You too, have been chosen !

and will receive the promises of God the Father.

The first question we all want answered, is when God will fix things!

Fix the things that are broken! Restoring goodness, love, mercy on earth!

    Returning to rule the world?

    The Lords answer!

It is not for you to know the times or the seasons!

    Then He says this!

"You shall receive power, after the Holy Ghost has come upon you, and ye shall be witnesses unto Me in all the land!"

God has given us the same power that is in Him!

    This is monumental!

What He is saying in all essence, is we, through faith in the shed blood of Christ have the same power to do the very things we want from Him, too change the world!!!!

The same power in the Holy Ghost is what will change the world in and through us ! When you come to this reality then you will have come to the salvation that has been provided from and through His Son! Go teaching all things in His name!

    Repent and be Baptized

Dear fine you "Gabriel Beaven", do not give up! When God does not answer, there is something wrong with you, you understand. In peace

He is the same today as yesterday. James 1:17

It may be an unresolved sin you have hidden, something you have put aside and then forgotten about. U must remember if you have promised the Lord something you have not done. Search the Spirit, the Holy Spirit will show you if you want to see it.

Once, many years ago, I met a lady who told me: God helps those who help themselves. I have thought about these words many many times. And tryed if they can suit you too. :) See it this way and forgive me if I'm wrong. If you are going to have something that you need in your food supply, you go and buy it, right. Physically we have to go, nothing comes up in our hands as we often wish. God will bless you in yours if it is in truth. And remember and use what you have received in the spirit. Then it will increase to the brim. I pray for u, Jesus loves u and i in Christ. You must surrender until Jesus Christ and does not hide anything. Luke 18:24-30 my favorite stand in Joshua 1:5-9 Amen.

Beloved "Mike" in my KJV it says in

Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Now i do not doubt what you write here, and it's sad that you feel that way. Wake up dear friend, roll up your shirt sleeves and strike back with the Word of God. Jesus says that He takes them, your burdens. And never ever believe that the Lord is forcing you to do something that has not been tried by yourself several times. Another thing to be encouraged by the burden! It says you need to learn something. Make sure the Lord never leaves you. Proclaim it when needed. And be happy with what you have, always. Luke 19:11-27

    1 Corintihans 10:13 1 Peter 5:7 and my favorite is Joshua 1:5-9

Hebrew 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

7 Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation.

8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

We pray for you to find a solution, in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ be blessed in spirit, soul and body. ps. all thoughts is not from God. God words is. Jesus loves u and i loves u in Christ and all brothers and sisters in the Lord.

Hello Shadrach. We can't send links via this Comment room, but I could suggest you go into Biblehub dot com & you will find a large number of Bible versions given. If you click on AMP, you will find it. Also, you might know that the Amplified Version can be useful for easier reading, but it remains as a translation based on a person's understanding of the Bible and not always faithful to the original texts. So please take care when reading from it.

Hi Rebecca. I don't believe that the Bible gives us a specific age of accountability, probably because an age is only a number & does not necessarily determine a child's understanding of sin & Christ's salvation.

For that reason, Christian parents usually speak to their children about Jesus' Sacrifice for them & need for repentance/accepting Him, when the children are quite young. Hence, we have ministries that focus on children (e.g. Child Evangelism Fellowship) or in-house ministries of Sunday School, etc. In the family, it would be the decision of the parents when they believe that their child knows that wrongdoing or sin has been committed, its consequences, & the Bible message of salvation. And this age could vary from child to child, even within the family. Though my thoughts are, & you may get some other suggestions, that the age of accountability would be around 5 or 6.

Jesus, when you were in the Garden of Gethsemane you asked, if possible, that the cup be taken from you, but if it was God's will so be it. The world depended on you finishing that cup. But my cup, if I don't finish it, the world will be ok. This cup is more than I can chew, overwhelming, and counterproductive to my well being and spiritual growth. In fact, it's causing harm to my soul. It's too much and as a result I've fallen into dark places of depravity and failure. The test is more than I can handle. I am like a camel with a cracked spine and way too much weight on me and I'm broken and breaking further. Please remove this weight from me. Get me to Heaven, yes, but do it gently. If you keep this pressure up I'll surely crack for the worst. I don't want that. You don't want that. And the world will be ok if you lighten my load. And I will be ok if you do too. It might just save my soul. I need you to get this, God! I'm not exaggerating. Enough. And thankyou for hearing me. Truly hearing me. I need you to hear me.
