We are indeed united with Christ and with one another, but as anyone can plainly see, we all are not one person, losing our individual identities, even in marriage, we are still two persons. So, I do not concur with your analysis of this topic. I do not believe any created being will ever acquire the divine nature and have our essential nature changed from human to divine. I do not believe the Scriptures teach that we will become 'gods'. I do believe we have the wonderful privilege of having communion and unity with Jesus. But that does not necessarily mean that we will exchange our human nature for God's nature. You gave the example of Jesus' spit and the dirt. Well, as far as chemistry goes, what Jesus made was an amalgamation of the molecules of his HUMAN (not divine) spit and the molecules of the dirt. The molecules of both substances remained the same as before they were put together. They did not change in their essential makeup. The compound made is just that-a compound-consisting of both unaltered substances. We are united with Christ, yes, He does not become more human when united with us anymore than we become divine. He remains, fully God and fully human. No additional humanity can be added to Christ because He is fully 100% human. And as for us, we remain 100% human, not a mixture of humanity and divine.
Jesus, being God had all the fullness (100%) of deity. No more deity could be added to Him, the Father, nor the Spirit. Likewise, since they each contain 100% divinity, then for them to give any divinity to us created beings would decrease their deity and they would no longer be 100% deity, which would indicate a change in God. But He is immutable and never changes in His essential divinity. His divinity will never increase nor decrease, multiply nor divide. He stays the same always.
I don't think I agree with you.
Let's see the verse you quoted.
Collosians 2:16
"Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:"
What does this really mean? We'll see.
Next verse, no. 17 states "Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ"
Shadows of what things? My opinion is that implies the NT, that is why he is referring to the body of Christ, which is the church.
Please read what is written next, ie verses 20-22 "Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances,(Touch not; taste not; handle not;Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men?"
So I think it's obvious that it is written that we are not to be judged for NOT keeping all those things, including Sabbath, and not the other way around.
Please also see Galatians 4:9-10, it is relevant. It actually talks about the same thing "But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage? Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years."
Those days, months, years, meat, drink, holydays, new moon, Sabbath, all these things from the OT are shadow for the things that would come, and came as the New Testament.
As a final point lets read Acts 15 when Paul and Barnabas met with the rest of the apostles in Jerusalem to talk about whether christians are to obey anything from the Law of Moses eg circumcision. The conclusion was to keep away only from "v29 That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication29
That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and well. Fare ye well." They decided the only things according to the OT that we should keep as christians are for idolatry, for blood and for fornication.
With respect.

.....When he spat on the ground he made Clay...a marriage between the ground and his spit ( his word was his spit and the ground humanity were made 1) which was the clay....And thats what he anointed the eyes of the blindman with the CLAY and he was healed....I said all that just to remind you there is a marriage in our near future...We are gonna be made 1 with Christ..Thus we are gonna be Gods...Simply b/c our husband Christ is God.
.....On the 3 rd day there was a marriage in Canna of Galilee and both Jesus and his disciples were called and his mother was also there....Which is just prophetic of his own marriage...We are now in the 3 r day from the Cross...2 k yrs have gone by...2 Days....We are now in that 3 rd day from the Cross....And David saw the whole world at rest ( THE 7 TH DAY ) and full of his GLORY.....No doubt we will share his GLORY....Plz don't forget the marriage super of the lamb...Even Bro. paul tells us that we are dead to the LAW and should be married to Christ and bring forth fruit unto God... Romans 7 : 4 kjv
Isaiah 54:17
King James Version
17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.
Amen, and well stated indeed!
In order to have this loving relationship with Jesus/God, we certainly do have "the freewill" to make "the choice", and we have "the freewill" to continue to grow our relationship, and become obedient to God's desires for us.
It certainly takes some "effort on our part", in conjunction with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and it certainly is not just a one-way street.
God Bless.
I agree with you that Christ is the final judge. Every person will someday stand before Him and give an account. I believe the bible speaks of two separate judgments, one for believers, and one for non-believers. Every believer will stand at the Bema Seat judgment of Christ. That judgment is not to determine Heaven or Hell, but what our reward/s will be. There will be a future judgment called the Great White Throne judgment. No believer will stand at that judgment. But yes, Christ will be the judge at both.
I am looking at Revelation 22:14, which you shared, and for me it describes a person who is saved. I totally agree with you that Jesus' words remain consistent. No argument from me there! And yes, scripture tells us what is expected of us.
As far as confusion about salvation goes, I cannot speak for anyone else but myself. Salvation seems simple to me. Once I am convicted of my need to be saved, I'm to confess my Spiritual bankruptcy before Christ, repent of my sin, call out to Him to have mercy on me and to save me, and surrender my life completely to Him. Jesus said that if I want to be His disciple, I must deny (ARNEOMI/Reject) myself, take up my cross daily, and follow Him. The message sounds simple, but for some, giving up their life to follow Christ is the hard part.
I agree with you that we are expected to have a relationship with Jesus, repent, become obedient, refrain from sin, and follow God's commands. But how do I do any of those things? In my human effort, I cannot. My flesh will never submit to the things of the Lord. It all boils down to surrendering my life to Jesus Christ.
Once I give my life to Christ, He gives me His Spirit, and His Spirit in me causes me to be obedient, causes me to have a relationship with Him, causes me to refrain from sin, and causes me to follow His commands. If I become disobedient, He deals with me and sometimes it can be pretty harsh.
As always, pleasure to talk with you. Blessings to you also!
I didn't mean to be intrusive at all; in my own walk with Jesus, I have learned the best way to proceed is by doing the first things first - and then things seem to (sooner or later) fall into place!
The prayers will continue!
Blessings!
......As we have borne the image of the earthy we must also bear ( birth ) the image of the heavenly via the seed of Christ that 2 nd Adam and his blood are his words...1 st COR. 15 :47 thats y he is saying you are made clean by the words I have spoken unto you. ( that New Covenant the book was written by his blood his words)
......MAN is not our Hy Priest,...Its only Christ that is our Hy Priest...Under this new covenant...Thats y the scripture is saying Romans 10 : 20 ....I was found of them that sought me not i was made manifest unto them that asked not after me...Its Christ our Hy Priest after the order of Melchezedec that is gonna draw ALL MEN UNTO HIM....That was the NEW covenant i will know them ALL from the least to the Greatest...Thats everybody..toda el mundo....All the world...God so loved the world thus he is gonna pour out of his spirit on all flesh....Thats y David saw ALL the world at rest and full of his GLORY...We are not our own we are all bought with a price thus its what GODS wants not our will but his will ...you have not chosen me but i have chosen you etc and he chooses everybody simply b/c he died for everybody....As God is no respector of Persons simply b/c God knows we are but FLESH.
I welcome you to this site. I just want to assure you that You can pray to our God directly.
1 Timothy 2 :5-6 tells us that there is one Mediator between God and man, the Man Jesus Christ, who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time."
Jesus, at the Last Supper, instructed His disciples this way: "You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you."
John 15:16
And in Hebrews 8:1 it says:
"Now this is the main point of the things we are saying: We have such a High Priest, who is seated at the right hand of throne of the Majesty in the heavens."
And in Hebrews 7:24 it speaks of the priests of the Old Covenant compared to Jesus' priesthood:
"Also there were many priests because they were prevented by death from continuing. But He, because He continues forever, has an unchangeable priesthood Therefore He is able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them."
Mary, you do not need to pray to Mary or anyone else but God according to these Scriptures. Mary or any other saint would not receive your prayers because they know that Jesus is the only Mediator. They honor only Jesus. We can certainly ask other believers to pray for us, but this is a request we make to those who are still alive in this life. '
Do not be discouraged, trust in Jesus. Our Great God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, hears all of our prayers and we have Jesus' promise that our prayers are heard and answered by the Father according to His prefect will. Jesus is always making intercession for us to the Father. He is the best and foremost person we are to make our requests known to. The Holy Spirit even helps us in our praying ( Romans 8:26-27)
Therefore , the whole Godhead works to answer our prayers.
I encourage you to stay with us and continue learning from God's Word.
If I may ask, are you Catholic? I am sorry that you are being attacked here. I am not Catholic, but I would welcome you here and I would hope that everyone on this website would welcome you instead of telling you to go somewhere else. How is that showing Godly love? Instead of attacking another person's belief (assuming we know what you believe), why do we not instead take the opportunity to witness Jesus Christ and the gospel message of salvation instead of attacking?
Please do not be offended by rude comments. I believe that there are many brothers and sisters here (possibly some ex-Catholics) that would love to dialog with you and share Jesus Christ with you.
There are 2 views as to who the Nicolaitans are. One is that the Nicolaitans were led by a man named Nicholas. He's mentioned in Acts 6:5. He's one of the men that were chosen to distribute bread to the Greek speaking Jewish community. Some historical documents say that Nicholas left the church and became a Gnostic and began spreading false teaching.
Another view, which appears to be the correct view since the Nicolaitans were not even that well established at this time as far as Nicholas goes. The word Nicolaitan is made up of two Greek words. One word, and I can't spell it out because this website will reject it as advertisement, but it is the same name of the athletic shoe with the swoosh mark on it. In Greek, it is pronounced nee-kay, which is the word for overcome or victory. The second word is LAOS which means the people.
It represented the democratic control of the people in the church, where the leaders ruled. They lorded it over the flock and the Lord says I hate that! Jesus Christ is still the head of the church. Leaders are put in position to be of service to Christ, but if anybody in the church should be sensitive and humbled to God speaking through the people in the church, and the congregation, it ought to be the leaders.
We're all equal. If God wanted me to be a leader, it would not be because I'm more special than anyone else or that I know the Lord better than you. Many churches have fallen because the leaders took human control over the church, and they themselves were not governed by God's Spirit. The deeds of the Nicolaitans, the lording it over the flock, the human democracy over God's people, God says He hates.
Christians today function like Jesus Christ ascended up into heaven, and left us here to do His work for Him. No, He's still here. He's still the head of the church. He's our leader. And if you're in leadership, you still look to the leader who is Jesus Christ.
Hope this helps?
As Christians we should always go by the solar calendar that never changes, we are of the light not of lunar.
15th day after spring equinox is Passover, usually March 20 or 21; 1st full moon of spring is spring equinox. 14 days because Jewish day begins at sundown. After Passover-50 days later plus the 14 days before Passover 7 sets of 50 so 14 +(7 x 50)= 364 a solar year.
CHRIST had told them HE would send the HOLY SPIRIT and give them power on this day as a help meat when this happens 50 days after Passover, CHRIST who became our sacrificial Lamb. CHRIST who became our Passover: 1Cor 5:7
In Leviticus 23:2 God tells us, "These are My appointed festivals, the appointed festivals of the Lord, which you are to proclaim as sacred assemblies. Sabbath means rest-CHRIST became our great Sabbath (Passover) we worship HIM everyday, not 1 day a week.
50 in Biblical numeric s is the number for Jubilee or deliverance.
Peace and grace to you from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Thank you for the opportunity to have a dip at the tip of my tongue "of the cup that Jesus Christ drink of".
God forbid I would hurt the pure. I love all the saints. I pray for the fullness of the Gentiles and that ALL be saved and sanctified by the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Mark 10:39
And they said unto him, We can. And Jesus said unto them, Ye shall indeed drink of the cup that I drink of; and with the baptism that I am baptized withal shall ye be baptized:
Matthew 20:23
And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared of my Father.
Matthew 5:8
Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
Titus 1:15
Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.
Psalms 119:2
Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.
Psalms 118:28
Thou art my God, and I will praise thee: thou art my God, I will exalt thee.
appr. date 41-46 AD, CHRIST crucified in 28 ad would put this writing around 15 yrs after CHRIST so he would certainly likely to have 1st hand witness of his half brother CHRIST and the authority to rebuke the evils he speak of. If Jude was of age 30 for instance he would have spent at least 15 yrs with CHRIST
Half brother of CHRIST and brother of James the lesser the author of James whom both CHRIST say are brethren(brothers) Mat 13:55; Mark 6:3, Act 15:13, Gal 2:9, Gal 1:19
Whole of Jude warns us of evil spirits and fallen Angels that Enoch spoke out against .
Jude 1:4-Fallen angels Gen 6:1,2,3 and Satan denied CHRIST and have ever sense and sentenced to judgement for denying CHRIST. .
evil spirits that possesses those who allow it; even heads of Christian churches to deceive the people. Those who deny CHRIST, the SON of GOD, Emanuel-GOD with us denying HE is of the trinity, GOD head who died and rose 3 days later for 40 days appeared to many and is historical accounts of HIS marks and resurrection. scripture lawyers and not followers of JESUS CHRIST the savoir. Gen 6:4 Jude 1:6 they left their first estate- their own principality and place of dwelling which was in darkness; are now in a bottomless pit in chains of darkness-evil spirits, where they cannot sire anymore giants are released for 5 months to pick up where they left off in days of Noe, when the 2 witnesses they kill in the arena and they rise 3 days later are instantly blotted out of existence at the sight and hand of GOD at CHRIST 2nd appearance where all knees will bow.
....Jesus said I am the light of the world but the NIGHT comes when noman can work...THE LAST 2000 YRS Answer to the 2 days 2 k yrs he was in the tomb...But he rose the 3 rd day...In Rev. 14 : 6 ..God has to send an Angel to preach the everlasting gospel to ALL THAT DWELL ON THE EARTH, Simply B/C ALL the CHURCHES ARE IN DARKNESS...Money Hungry...That Angel is the H.G. The Angel of the LORD..As Joel 2 :28 says I will pour out my spirit ( THE H.G. ) on ALL FLESH your sons and daughter will prophesy...Thats indicative of the whole family..and every family..If i belifted up I will DRAW ALL MEN unto ME.
.....Giannis we must remember what the New Covenant is ALL about ,...Its not something man wants but what God wants...God said I, me God Almighty is gonna make a new Covenant...Wither we want it or nor...You have not Chosen me but I have chosen you..Wither we like it or not ...Mans carnal mind wd neva want God simply B/C mans CARNAL MIND is the very enemy of God...Mans carnal mind is not subject to the laws/words of God and neither indeed can be Romans 8 : 7 kjv...We must remember what Jesus did at Calvary by his blood which was this New Covenant...The essence of this New Covenant is that all men will be saved in the end by the Blood of CHRIST...The 2 nd Adam's spot and stain will be applied to everybody th blood.

It is within a loving marriage that you can enjoy an intimacy like none other; and that is in every area: physical, mental, emotional, & spiritual. If one area is not as strong as before, for whatever reason, there should be no reason for despair or despising your spouse. Rather, in such a loving marriage, care for each other & understanding of each one's needs must always be uppermost in our hearts & minds. And of course, communication between yourselves as to your struggles & any confused feelings felt. No spouse should ever feel unloved or withdrawn from, but every effort made to revive the bond of love. And this can be done even when our bodies fail us or we feel that we are no longer giving what we desire to.
The comfort & assurance of one's commitment doesn't lie in just one area; when we give all we can of ourselves to each other, nothing else matters. But we need to be aware & sensitive to our spouse, looking for ways to please & to keep the marriage fresh & filled with vitality. So even when our hearing, or speech, or sickness, or intimacy in bed weakens or fails, your strong bond of love will bring both compassion & understanding of the situation and the love you share shouldn't weaken, rather grow stronger. I believe this is what the Lord would expect of us, especially in Christian marriage, bonded together with each other and together in the Lord. "A threefold cord is not quickly broken".
