The NKJV is a corrupted translation whose biggest flaw is its praise for and utilization of the corrupt Nestle-Aland (NU) text taken from Westcott's and Hort's corrupted Greek text heavily based upon the spurious Sinaiticus and Vaticanus manuscripts. In Mark 6:11, for example, the NKJV footnote points out that the NU does not include the last part of the verse as correctly translated in the KJV. To illustrate, I am quoting the verse from the New American Standard as an example of a translation of the verse as based upon the NU:

    New American Standard Bible

"Any place that does not receive you or listen to you, as you go out from there, shake the dust off the soles of your feet for a testimony against them."

    Mark 6:11

    King James Version

11 And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear you, when ye depart thence, shake off the dust under your feet for a testimony against them. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.

May I suggest you reflect on Romans 10:9-13, Ephesians 2:8-9, Philippians 2:12-13.

    Please consider praying this prayer:

Lord Jesus Christ I declare you are my Savior! I renounce any involvement in the world of darkness. I cancel every curse and ask you to forgive those who spoke them against me. I proclaim liberty from every generational curse that existed in my bloodline. I repent for opening doors to Satan. I repent for any of my family sins. I declare every generational curse is made void by the Blood of Jesus Christ. I command every generational curse that has manifests itself as sickness, depression, failed marriages, poverty, confused identity, addictions or shady behaviors to be uprooted and broken off me and my family, in Jesus name. Thank you God for setting me free from every curse in Jesus Christ name!!

Yes, I have witnessed the same and it's hard to see. All someone has to do is turn on the TV. All are sinners and no one is immune to temptation, including pastors. We need the armor of God on and to take the threat seriously. There's huge division in Christianity toward the mindset of us being in a battle or the battle is already won. Obviously those kicking back and enjoying the fruits of the world are going to fall the hardest and not even realize it. When I read the Bible, over and over it warns us. It never tells us to just do nothing and chillax because we once listened to one sermon 40 years ago and assume we're saved, but to actively follow Jesus and avoid sin. We surely control what we say with our mouth and do with our bodies, so we can surely avoid sin if we try, like Jesus asked us to. If we're rooted in sin, we're no longer much of a light to the world and aren't going to be very effective in sharing the gospel. John 14:15. So, why we are responsible for ourselves, we should to be gentle with others. A frustrated demanding pastor is not in the right position. I think Pauls letters addressed this topic.

True. Salvation is not of works. Also, more to my point, condemnation to the lake of fire is the death sentence for the sin of rejecting what the Holy Spirit has revealed to the sinner, not the result of lesser sins.

I grieve over the heartaches caused by sin and indifference, in my own life as well as in the lives of others, because I know sin always brings grief and sorrow. I will pray for your family. I know the Lord wants them to draw near to Him and to seek His help and guidance for everyone's good, especially their own. Thanks for sharing.

Be strengthened & comforted dear one, that the Lord is mindful of what you're going through & will give you grace to bear up or give you a way around them. Search out good company with a good moral standing or even believers that you can pray with. Share what you're going through with your teacher or principal & leave the matter with them.

Hebrews 12:4, "Follow peace with all men"; Matthew 5:44; & I would leave you with Matthew 5:11-16. May the Lord be very near to you & give you strength & wisdom during those times of trial.

Thank you for sharing some of the pain you are going through at school, Sanaytrah - for being open & honest with us. Unfortunately, bullying, whether at school, workplace, or wherever, is a fact of life & many suffer because of those mindless, sick individuals.

There could be many reasons for bullying; but two that would be high on the list would be that the bullies themselves are being harshly treated or disciplined at home or by others & they then reciprocate by venting their pent-up emotions on others. Another reason would be that they get into bad company & become part of the group mentality, so whatever evil plans the group decide to do, that then becomes an act by the whole group or individual. Do they know that they do wrong by unnecessarily hurting someone? Yes, they do, but the thrill of afflicting pain on another (helpless) one is greater than considering the grief caused to the victim.

We can look upon those evil people with sadness, because of their immature callous acts against the innocent & we can pray for them, but so often bullying continues because those in authority (whether at the school or govt. level), refuse to take suitable action against them. Being a much older person than you, I'm dismayed as I look back over the past decades, how far the 'rule of Law' has degenerated, where wickedness is now allowed to thrive. In those days, bullying at school was quickly dealt with, usually by expulsion from school & no other school would accept the bully. If I couldn't answer a question by the teacher, an answer I should have given if I was attentive, almost certainly brought out his boxed set of various sized canes for me to choose from. The 'stick' can often teach us important lessons very quickly. All that's now gone, for fear of 'hurting' these young one's tender hearts & lives - all we do now is breed a generation of rascals, with callous minds intent on evil.

Sister Suze, I was raised going to church, every time the doors were open. Believe and go to heaven; don't believe and go to hell, it's all up to you. In 50 years of going to church, I was never taught the truth about the kingdom of God.

When God set me down and CAUSED me to study his word, he CAUSED me to study the prophets and Revelations.

I learn more about the kingdom of God from the law and Prophets than I every learned from the New Testament.

I believe it is a great loss that our churches seldom study the Old Testament.

If you never studied anything but Job, Psalms and Isaiah you could come to truth about the kingdom of God.

    God Bless You!

Some definitely witness by word but I have to believe the strongest witness is by the way we live. As we are living for the Lord, His fruit is expressed outwardly by our daily living and reactions. Because we have a relationship. This includes our thoughts, words and actions. Others will notice and as we pray for an opportunity to speak, the Lord will provide. The Holy Spirit will let you know when the opportunity arises. The next step is the step of faith. To share the good news.

Unbelief is what sends individuals to eternal hades. Jesus defined the will of God like this: believe in the Son of God (Jesus) and to love others. So you see, it's not a "works salvation" it's a gift from God the Father to those who will believe and accept. See John 3:16

I have seen Pastors try to embarrass, shame, anger and every method possible to try to get People to live right. I've seen a lot of Hurt, and crushed People ,, who were blasted by those in Authority. The ones were supposed to Help, aid, support, carry. I was saved under my Father in law,, and I remember a comment He said " If I could get 10% of the Church to live about half what I'm Preaching,,, The Lord might as well come and get me,, it would be one of The Greatest Works in Ministry ever".

The Flock is not ,nor will they ever be what they think they are. They are a lot of Good, devoted People who love God. But they don't realize for the most part, they will never come close to the Annointing, Power, Dedication The Man of God carries, the burden he bears. The weight, struggles, or battles He fights Daily. Quite honestly, they are in the dark, blind.

Paul said Ye which are Spiritual, closed the gap, when you see a Brother or Sister overtaken in a Fault, sin ,struggle. Help restore that person, because they cannot do it. I'm not condoning sin, making a excuse for sin .

But I have seen, and I know you do not fit this bill or mold. But most People in Ministerial Positions do not have the patience or temperance for it. They are angry ,judgemental, confrontational, demanding, try to be a tyrant, control freak over others.

These folks are going to fall over and over, flat on their face, going to make a upside down cake , a total mess out of situations, trials, decisions. And this is where we come in, we pick them up, dust them off, pray another prayer, even if it's the 100th time. And tell them " You can do it, You can make it,,, let's go ,,, You're going to turn it around this time. Because Just one touch from Jesus ,,,changes everything.

All we can do is Preach, every man, woman is going to do what's in their Heart. Do that,,go home, rest, relax, eat, . You have done Your Part, it's up to them now.

    Mikey Out. Ooooooh Yeah!!!!!

    Brother Alex:

I believe flesh and the carnal mind are Satan. Man is (the image of Satan), until he is born of truth.

You are right, the child is not delivered until we depart this body of flesh.

I believe the 1000 year reign with Christ is signified and is ONE DAY, running parallel with the day of the Lord, a day called today, the day of the Lord, which has been going on for 2000 years; but is only ONE DAY, where time is no more.

I believe the parable of God sending workers into his vineyard at different hours of the day, represents the 1000 year reign; the workers are those, having gone before us, now spirits made perfect, fashioned as the Holy Ghost, bring in the harvest.

Christ said he would send his angels (ministering spirits) to gather the harvest.

ALL will receive the same reward, no matter what hour of the DAY we go into the vineyard, and that reward is becoming the likeness of Christ, spirits of just men made perfect.

Ye are righteous because I am righteous, ye are Holy because I am Holy, ye are LIFE because I am LIFE, ye are truth, because I am truth, ye are mercy because, I am mercy.

I in YOU and YOU in ME.

    God Bless YOU.

Lord Jesus please fight our battles. I ask for your strong protection, deliverance, healing and salvation (those not saved) and your grace and peace. Please go before us. We need you Lord. Please pour out your Holy Spirit on us and all in need. Please send encouragement overall (you know Lord). Thank you and praise you for many answered prayers. Thank you Lord. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

I've heard commentary that Babylon represents the Roman Catholic Church, and I can accept that application, but I think it is a more appropriate application to say Babylon represents the formerly Christian nation of America that has become apostate during the last days. Babylon in Revelation is a "city" full of people doing great business and making tradesmen around the world rich through commerce. The Catholic Church is primarily guilty of making its officers rich, but not enriching world businessmen so much.

There were several names. But the most obvious one....was Jesus.

    1 Corinthians 10:1-4

    1Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;

    2And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;

    3And did all eat the same spiritual meat;

4And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.

I don't believe the Bible ever speaks of leaven as a good thing. Leaven speaks of evil and corruption, which is why the unleavened bread refers to Jesus and Christians.

Evil persuasion is like leaven: Gal. 5:

8 This persuasion cometh not of him that calleth you.

9 A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.

Leaven is compared to malice and wickedness. Unleavened is compared to sincerity and truth.

    1 Corinthians 5:8

Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

Christians are not old leaven in sin but unleavened in righteousness.

    1 Corinthians 5:7

Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:

Leaven is compared to evil doctrines and evil dogmas.

    Mark 8:15

And he charged them, saying, Take heed, beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, and of the leaven of Herod.

Leaven is corruption and God forbid the Jews from offering corruption in their Sabbath observences.

    Exodus 12:19

Seven days shall there be no leaven found in your houses: for whosoever eateth that which is leavened, even that soul shall be cut off from the congregation of Israel, whether he be a stranger, or born in the land.

    Marke,

    I like your comment.

When God helped me stop drinking back in '81, I was then baptized by the sprinkling of water in our Lutheran church.

I was raised by a Baptist mom and dad occasionally attended service.

I married a man who was raised by a Lutheran family. When we were young marrieds, we had discussions about baptizing our two children. I don't know what made me change my mind, but I agreed to having our nearly 3-year-old son and our (I'm guessing) 6-month-old daughter be baptized in the Lutheran church.

When our daughter grew up and had a baby girl, she had our granddaughter baptized in the Presbyterian church by sprinkling of water when she was about 3 - 6 months old.

My granddaughter was confirmed in the Lutheran church when she was a teen. She went to vacation Bible school at the Presbyterian church with her cousins when they were pre-teens.

My granddaughter is now 23 and married to a Marine who is a few months older than she is. He was raised by a Baptist mom. Even though they both believe in God, neither one of them are church-goers. They have a 3-year-old daughter and a 1-year-old son.

Marke, I just worry about my great-grandkids being baptized some day, when I know that their parents don't go to church. My granddaughter did try to go thru her older cousin to see if the Lutheran pastor would baptize their first baby. The pastor was more than willing to have my granddaughter (and her husband) come see her; but my granddaughter didn't go thru with it. I don't know why. You see, my granddaughter and her husband live at Camp Pendleton, CA. They were only here for 2 weeks in Wis with their baby girl in 2019. They haven't been back to Wis since. Maybe my granddaughter felt like she would have to join the church.

I don't want to stick my nose in their business, so I don't say anything. All I've been doing is praying.

After our kids were baptized, it was THEN that my husband said his mom had been praying all along.

The artist in me is showing you the medium that God selected to mould Adam. And through Adam, Eve was made.

God knew what was in that soil. All colors, shades and blending. OUR SOCIETY has graded peoples on their colors in the past; even now__by the Elites. Like Nimrod did.

It will never be peaceful until Jesus Christ comes to collect up his followers, his disciples now.

Someday I will tell all, the wisdom of the ants. How they fight their wars, and everything. God taught me that at 5 years old. On the farm, He took me all over to see different "nations" of ants. The differences.

    Much like military leaders today.

God cares very much, the things we encounter; fight against, etc. He wants us to overcome and succeed again. That's in our DNA Too. It flows hot and strong in our blood. Follow God, not madmen.

Jesus is returning real soon. Tell your children and pray with them. Don't flip them by demanding they go to church, get baptized properly, etc. Jesus just needs their YES. It is the HOLY SPIRITS job to do the follow up.

Don't alienate the kids. Satan knows his time is really short. He wants to hurt Gods people.

Listen to what the Lord is saying in MT 24 and LK 21. The signs are everywhere. Thank Him, we have youtube to view disasters and wars everywhere. How can we live in silken cocoons and not see the end stampeding the earth?

Jesus wasn't kidding, or accepting Exemptions__when He told his disciples (followers), TO GO YE.

Go into your neighborhood, to park benches, the sidewalk outside Goodwill_and leave a Chick Tract after you pray for someone to see it, and read it. Get them online. They cost very little. Pray as you leave one, for a willing heart to find it.

    Read Revelation 3:14-22

I think God also wanted to use soil, so people would not be inclined to blame Him for the color that their ancestors were, and the ancestors now.

Certainly the colors/DNA flow through the bloodlines now. Mankind is 6000 years of blended families and history.

My history is blended. I dig it up, and appreciate very much, things they did with their lives: fight world wars, immigrate to this nation, USA. They persevered through problems and prejudice because it is the Will of mankind to survive and push through barriers.

I read a lot of history about people. I'm constantly amazed at the Will to overcome obstacles to get to happiness and peace. My family wasn't privileged. All are laborers, farmers, a few policemen and preachers. My grandmothers ripped cloth for bandages for 2 world wars.

It grieves me that this generation may not know their own proud history. Sometime they look like dandelion seeds floating with the wind. Oh how I wish they knew their ancestors that worshipped God, no matter what came along.

I heard the Great Depression stories and I hope we don't have to go through another one. We are not prepared.

Younglings, if your grandparents still live, ask what they remember. Blood calls to blood. Old folks are not irrelevant and "just taking up space". We're still here to tell the stories one last time. Jesus is about to stand up.
