You are correct. Both men and women have the same number of ribs. I checked that on google.

How God altered Eve's DNA from Adam is something to ponder. In order for Adam to become XY after the subtraction you said, He would have had to have been XX, which is doubtful that he was. Maybe God added some DNA to Eve to make her XX. To take DNA from Adam to give to Eve to become XX would mean that God would have needed to change every cell nucleus' chromosomal make-up in Adam, which He certainly could do. But as I said, this would also involve Adam have XX chromosomes in all of His cells' chromosomal make-up prior to Eve's creation, therefore determining Adam to being female, which the Scripture text does not say or suggest.

Andrew, you are BORN AGAIN by the TRUTH OF GOD'S WORD.

Christ came as SINFUL FLESH, YOU ANDREW, SINFUL FLESH, died on that cross, You ANDREW, rose with CHRIST, the LIKENESS OF CHRIST, being in union with Christ, he is the LIFE, you are the BODY.

Colossians 1:27 ....this mystery....CHRIST IN YOU ........you are the body, Christ is the LIFE

Philippians 2:13 For it is God (the life) that WORKETH IN YOU both TO WILL and TO DO his good pleasure.

1 John 3:9 Whosoever is BORN OF GOD (born of truth, because God is truth) doth not commit sin....

TRUTH: you (the body) CANNOT sin because you ARE NOT the LIFE, but God is the LIFE, and God doth not commit sin.

Being born again by the truth of God's word.

Revelation 20:6 Blessed and Holy is he that hath his part in the first resurrection (YOU and CHRIST rose as a new creation).......

    Truth will set you free.

When you depart this flesh, you are instantly in the presence of Christ because YOU and CHRIST are ONE, joined TOGETHER.

God Bless You as you LIVE IN TRUTH.

    Connie,

That is a great question. I did not know the answer, but I did an internet search and found this. I cannot confirm the accuracy, but here's what I found:

There were 7 people named JUDAS in The Bible.

    1. An ancestor of Jesus ( Luke 3:30-31)

    2. "Judas the Galilean"mentioned by Gamaliel at the Sanhedrin. ( Acts 5:37)

    3. One of the 12 apostles (aka: Thaddaeus-"son of James") ( Luke 6:16)

    4. Judas Iscariot who betrayed Jesus. ( Mark 3:19)

    5. One of Jesus' half-brothers. ( Matthew 13:55)

    6. A man from Damascus (on the 'street called Straight') where Paul went after he was blinded ( Acts 9:11)

    7. Judas (aka:Barsabbas)-who was called a prophet and a 'leading man' among the disciples, sent with Paul and Barnabas to deliver the letter on circumcision to Antioch and encourage the congregation ( Acts 15:22, 30-32)

Jesus told the Religious Leaders of that Day. You are Flawless, perfected in your own rules, keeping of Man Made , feel good laws. Shiny, glowing, shimmering but inward decaying.

The Pharisee looked at the Publican, and said, you know Lord, I don't dress like they do, go to the places, listen to the things, I pray and pay tithes. And then Jesus said , while that Fat Cat sounded his, her own her, rolled out a personal red carpet. And then He or She , just as easily said it,,, Thank God I'm not like other men of women. ,,,Saved

Publican is trying to pray through and reach God in Sincerity, and meekness. And then Jesus said , "Whom went Home Justified( Saved) " ? This self righteous arrogant, holier than thou is get this,,, actually thanking God He or She is going to Hell. And this was what Jesus fought and opposed and has been in a circular pattern and will continue to be. Anybody know people like that,,, sure you do, . You know more self professing Christians with that attitude than that of the Publican. And that is sad,, it's not Covid that killed Church Attendance, it's the Killer Clowns with their smiles, laughs, and bag of tricks.

But how did Jesus phrase it,,, He said this, " Because they were RIGHTEOUS in their own eyes,, they done what,, despised others. They couldn't stand anybody, they tolerated people to serve their purposes, gains. But they always let a little comment slip, to let you know who are and don't forget it. Ministry teaching , Well in Heaven, I'll be higher, more rewards. We are Heirs and Joint Heirs, God is no Respector of Persons,,, sorry. We are all on equal footing . It's simply Man trying to establish His Own Righteousness

    Brother Chris,

    Thank you for your thoughts on this subject. In Isaiah 55: 6-7 it says the following;

6 That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the LORD, and there is none else.

7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

The word states that the LORD creates darkness and evil. In order to do those things, one must have thoughts of evil and darkness. Now, perhaps those creations are for holy reasons, however, one MUST generate those evil and dark thoughts to create whatever darkness and evil for whatever reason(s).

The main point is, having the thoughts, since everything is an idea to start. In order to create something, it must start as an idea, which is a thought.

Hope this makes sense. Thanks again for your response. I can tell you're a deep thinking spirit.

    Peace be with you.

Lord Jesus, I am continuing to ask for strong protection (pleading the blood of Jesus over us & family and asking for Holy Warrior angels and a wall of Holy Spirit fire to surround each of us), deliverance, healing, peace and salvation and an infilling with the Holy Spirit. Please grant what Paul prayed in Eph. 3:14-19 for each of us. Also Lord please intervene concerning the painful things you know about. Please send encouragement. And please heal Charity, Comfort and all others in need mentioned on the prayer guide of our church and in the prayer group. Please also go with me when I see my aunt B. who is a Jehovah Witness. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray Lord Jesus. Amen

Thank you for your encouragement regarding our children, Gigi. When the battle is long, and there seems to be not much hope (the operative word is 'seems'!! :) --- it's a blessing to have a sister in the Lord remind me of God's promises! :)

God bless you, Gigi, and have a wonderfully blessed night,

and a sweet sleep, resting your weary head on the bosom of our Lord!

    Hugs!

Fully agree brother Adam. Most people don't know the Lord, even less His Ways. They are answerable to no one except themselves. Then anyone who opposes them (i.e. their actions) is the enemy & if it's perceived that a divine Hand has brought them affliction, rather than bow before Him & turn from their sins, they choose to curse Him.

Such is the condition of the human heart devoid of Light, Truth & humility before their Creator. I'm sure Adam & Eve had no problems understanding & accepting God's Pronouncements against them for their disobedience. If anything, they might have bickered amongst themselves afterwards as to which of them caused this grave sin that brought no immediate relief. Man today is lost in his own world of depravity, never understanding or desiring that there is a Loving God Who is far greater & holy that what he ignorantly perceives of himself.

Matthew 4:4 was the Lord Jesus talking about "live" as to obtaining eternal life? One thing is for sure, he is not talking about eating physical food to survive, when studying the answer, we are to live by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God, should this be interpreted as all that Christ taught? When studying the four gospels, the Lord Jesus taught four different topics, the gospel, the New Testament, the gospel of the kingdom and the new covenant. These are the words that came out of the mouth of God, if we are to obtain eternal life by believing these words and then living by these words through obeying them, then this message is about how to save the soul and body by faith with works. I have often pondered about James 1:21 where the apostle taught our soul is saved by obeying the Ten Commandments written in the heart of all Christians, as the new covenant. I seen the correlation between James and Luke 10:25-28 where the Lord Jesus answered the question on how to inherit eternal life, and stated it is by obeying the Ten Commandments written in the heart.

Thanks Daniel, my belief is the same. Rapture will occur just before the appearance of antichrist in the world, tribulation is after (probably after the first half of the "week" which means that antichrist will use the first half of the "week" to establish his authority and then force people to accept his mark), otherwise many verses in the Bible just don't fit together. About that study of yours, can you share it or give a link to it or smt else? GBU

Just as I said, you are ignorant of the Gospel in the King James Bible that is: "Christ Jesus took our place in hell." He said he would be in the heart of the earth ( Matt. 12:40) and greatly feared going there, praying in agony, and sweating blood, not to go there ( Luke 22:42-44). The wicked dead are only in hell. "He made his grave with the wicked" Isaiah 53:9-10 where "his SOUL was made an offering for sin" and Jesus would "be the FIRST that should rise from the DEAD" as Acts 26:23 tells you and "His soul was not left in hell." Acts 2:31 clearly tells you. Jesus did what no man can do; anyone can die on a cross, and anyone can go into hell, but only Jesus came out of hell after 36 hours which no other soul has done. God raise Jesus from the DEAD and unless you believe THAT you cannot be saved. Without someone taking your place in hell you will go there. This is Christianity 101; Why do you not know this? You believe the strong delusional lie that denies that Jesus suffered in hell which saves no one! God made the Gospel so simple; just know that "Christ Jesus took your place in hell" and you HAVE Eternal Life! Where is your brain?

    Dear fellow christians.

I was always trying to think a respective to God's Trinity in the physical world but couldn't find any. One day I thought of jewels. A jewel is made of gold. Not pure gold. A part of it is gold, another part is silver and a third part is usually copper. When one melts and mixes all three of them together they become a new metal consisting of the original three. But they are not just three metals mixed or glued together, actually all 3 of them are placed inside each other. It is a brand new metal that combines the properties of the initial 3 metals. One metal, not three. It is called an alloy but it is still a new metal. One can separate them by using electrochemical mehods and get back the original 3 metals. So three become and one becomes three.

God is one God but at the same time three persons. That is three separate personalities. Identical but still three. They have the same nature, the same power, everything is the same but They are still three separate personalities. But when come together they are one God. To understand this just think of our Lord Jesus Christ on the cross. Jesus suffered, He felt the nails in His Hands and Feet. He suffered as a man and God simultaneously since He is man and God simultaneously. But at the same time Father God and Holly Spirit did not suffer, did not feel any nails in "their Hands and Feet". Because they are other persons. But when They go one inside the other they become one God. It is confusing, isn't it? Anyway maybe my thoughts are wrong. Has anybody else got some idea about God's Trinity?

I suppose the question is whether the theoretical understanding of those who are producing fruit worthy of repentance (truly saved) is the issue; or your own walk. I feel it is important to point out the greatest enemy is our self love. We deem that something in our flesh is good; this can slip very easily into humanism. Our experiences with God can be confused with emotions which give us natural enjoyment in the flesh but are transient at best. Reliance upon our feelings to dictate what experiences are from the Holy Spirit of course without spiritual discernment can lead us astray. However; if we ask God as the book of James states He gives us wisdom. If we seek the truth; we will find it. As my last post suggested in response-it is the conviction of sin; judgment and righteousness the Spirit reveals to us; often in the presence of other saints who are more mature and therefore have a greater measure of faith and/or the Spirit. I don't want to say that there is no feeling with the Lord; it is better described as existent without involving the flesh; or outside our own created world in our minds as it were. We do learn to recognize it; however if we are His sheep we recognize and hear His voice and also when strangers are teaching falsehood we sense danger and get away.

I thought it prudent to encourage you also that Christ has overcome this world. There is no fear in true love. ( 1 John 4:18). Not quoted perfectly; but my point is that the enemy continually likes to accuse us before God. The fact that our Father doesn't change ( James 1:17-18) as the "Father of lights" is different than the enemy; who likes to dangle a carrot in front of us; then torment us when we fall for it. I will keep you in prayer as to your living situation-and that the promises of Psalm 91 can be applied to your life. In general; it is always best to keep God above people; yet we have to trust God to bring who He chooses in our time of need. Stay in fellowship.

    Cheryl,

You will not find the word rapture in the bible. What you will find is the phrase "caught up." Rapture is an English transliteration that comes from the Latin word RAPTUS. The Greek word is HARPADZO. So whether a person uses the word Harpadzo, Raptus, Rapture, or caught up, it all means the same thing. It means to be caught up or snatched away by force (Raptured). In 1 Thessalonians 4:17 where you see the words "caught up," that would be your word rapture, which describes an event that will take place when Christ comes for His church. So when someone speaks about a rapture, they are talking about being snatched away or "caught up" to meet the Lord in the air when He comes for His church.

NO - Satan (Didn't Want) Jesus To Be Killed. Satan (Didn't Want) People To Be Redeemed. That Is Why HE - Satan - Peter Said: This MUST (NOT) BE.

ALL The Disciples KNEW (Including Peter) That Jesus (HAD TO) Die On The Cross For The Sins Of Many.

    Jesus Had Told Them.

But (The One Devil/The One Satan) That Jesus Chose To Be His Disciple: Didn't Want That To Be Fulfilled.

So Jesus Said (To Peter) That One Devil:

    Get THEE Behind Me, SATAN.

Thou (Satan / Peter / The One Devil) Savourest Not The Things Of God.

Jesus Said Those Words To Simon Peter And Then Jesus Turned His Back On SATAN, / Simon Peter.

JESUS Couldn't Stand The Sight OF Simon Peter / Satan / The One Devil That HE Chose To Be HIS Disciple.

Kay, I so appreciate your outreach to me. God is keeping us prayerful until He accomplishes the answers to our prayers for our loved ones according to His timing and will. He is training us to persevere in prayer AND faith along the way to these answers.

We so love our children, but God loves each of them more than we ever could, so we can trust Him to be working in their lives 24/7 to bring about His purpose for creating each one. I do think that God has appointed the children of believing parents to salvation. It will happen in His timing. We can lay our children upon the altar of faith and give them to God, knowing if He can raise the dead, He can regenerate our children, too.

    Part 2

His sacrificial death not only took the fullness of God's wrath that we each and every one deserves, but also ransomed us from sin, death, and hell. His death broke the power of sin so that we who believe can be forgiven of our sins and also be freed from the condemnation that comes from God for our sin.

Jesus, God's Son, was buried and in the grave dead for three days until He was raised by the Godhead to life again in the same body He died in. He conquered death for all eternity and opened the way for those who believe to receive eternal life in Him. Even if we die, we will also be resurrected in our bodies when He comes back again. Because He is the true and only judge of all the earth, He will come again to judge every person that ever has lived. Those who believe that He alone is the Savior and

Way to be forgiven, justified, and attain eternal life will be considered righteous before God and receive eternal life with God. Those who do not believe in Jesus for salvation will be judged guilty for their sins and be judged to eternity in hell.

Andrew, If you believe these things, you can know that you are indeed saved (born again) because on the Holy Spirit can regenerate a person (who is dead in sin) to become alive to God and give one faith to believe the Gospel. One who is unregenerated cannot come to God in faith and believe the Gospel without the work of the Holy Spirit. so if you believe the Gospel message concerning Jesus, you have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit and believe because God has chosen You and brought to You faith and eternal life.

We are never instructed to "feel" saved or reborn. Rather we are instructed to believe and trust that God does what He promised to those who call on Him to be saved.

I know I have written a lot here, but, since you say you became a believer at 12 and believed then according to the knowledge your 12 year old person could understand. As an adult, it is good to have a fuller knowledge of your belief
  • GiGi - In Reply - 3 years ago
    Hello Andrew,

Being born again does not have to be an emotional experience, although for some it is. Someone at twelve does not have as much sinful baggage as one who is 50. Though one sin makes us in need of rescue from God's righteous wrath. We do need to acknowledge our sinfulness before God as well as repent of known sins that we have committed. This means that we admit that we are guilty of sinning against God and acknowledge that God is just in judging sin as contrary to His will for any person and that His wrath for sin is justified. We should be sincerely sorry that we have chosen to sin in so many ways and seek mercy from God, knowing that even one sin in us earns us the just judgment of eternity in hell and everlasting agony. This should compel one to seek to know how to be rescued and obtain mercy from God if it is available to us. This is where the Gospel is "Good News".

The Gospel tells how God did not want mankind to perish forever in hell according to His justice, but planned from before the creation of the world to save those who believe His way of salvation in His Son Jesus Christ. God the Father sent His divine Son, Jesus to become man for our salvation. Jesus was conceived in Mary (a virgin) by the Holy Spirit and developed within her with human DNA, flesh, bones and blood. He was born as a human baby who but also retained His divine nature as the Son of God.

He lived and grew up with full humanity, but He never sinned, as He did not have the sinful corruption in His being that Adam did. He knew at a young age what His mission and purpose was for His life as well as being aware as a full human that He was also fully God.

As a grown man, He still had never sinned, yet the Jews of His time desired to have Him killed. He suffered, was crucified, and died by the will of God as the only One who could take upon Himself the wrath of God for sin as a sinless sacrifice for all mankind and their sins. He died as our substitute for our sins.
