Wow, you described the lukewarm worship exact. Before I was saved...I went to churches...seriously. But there were no alter calls. The lukewarm replaces alter calls (invitation to Salvation) with a "Jesus hug" false salvation. I remember someone laying hands on me and praying (this was supposedly for Salvation) saying you must say, "Jesus I love you, I want you in my life, I want to serve you. Amen." I must have prayed variations of that 20 times and some odds years later I was saved because someone showed me in the Holy Bible (KJV) what Salvation was and what the Blood of Jesus actually does. I was also told I was a sinner. The contemporary churches I attended avoided talking about sin and labeled anything relative as "legalism." I recall worship leaders walking around with guitars before the "worship" playing secular music.

Last part I'll add to these christian "concerts." I went to one back in 2008. The band was called Family Force 5 and looked like a bunch of cross-dressers. Please, don't look up the "music" they're playing. There was merchandising for this make-up clad male band and no mention anywhere of God. The concert got louder and louder and then ended. Once the concert ended a P.A. started playing music as the band cleared the stage. Very sincerely, they started playing Highway to Hell by AC/DC. Had I not met a humble group of Mexican-American fundamental pastors in a small town years later; it's likely I would have still been in the world. The lukewarm church keeps those therein in a spirit of bondage. A risen ministry see's it's members feeling victorious in Christ Jesus.

On the first day God created the first light, some suggest its the light of Jesus. Am I right to believe this?

1 Cor. 11:30 is physical death; referred to as "falling asleep" (see also Acts 7:60). The book along with all the epistles is addressed to the church; with warnings specifically targeted in that direction. The gravity of proper respect at the Lord's supper is a sobering thought here.

There is a great tendency for categorizing people as "saved" or lost without further distinction as to the state of saved people especially. The concept of rewards or loss thereof ( Rev. 3:11) is found in a number of scriptures. Some; no doubt bring forth different levels of fruit ( Mark 4:20). Some make it in but suffer loss ( 1 Cor. 3:15). There is also a tendency to brush over sins committed after a confession of faith as somehow not having consequences in the lives of a believer. Again; we see a reference to this in Corinthians about anyone who destroys the "Temple of God". ( 1 Cor. 3:16-17). If we dishonor God we can shorten our life through natural causes; and God's discipline can be part of this refining process even to death. See also 1 Cor. 5:5.

We must keep in mind that as God's children; he "chastises every one He loves." ( Heb. 12:6). We cannot be certain of the salvation of Ananias and Sapphira ( Acts 5:1-11) but it fits the same pattern. Whoever has "tasted and seen" ( Heb. 6:4-5) God's goodness but is not truly Born Again has greater judgment. When we see churches today that clearly lack the fear of the Lord which is the beginning of wisdom ( Proverbs 1:7 and other passages); there is a tendency to ignore the exhortations and rebuke which need to be given along with encouragement for the edification of the saints ( 2 Timothy 4:2). Just because as Protestants we don't believe in transubstantiation; we do well to heed to the fact that His presence is in communion. Churches need to emphasize salvation along with living without a LIFESTYLE of unrepentant sin is necessary when partaking in communion. Unforgiveness should also be addressed ( Matt. 5:23-24

A prayer for women and children living in captivity. Whether it be physically, mentally, sexually, or spiritually. They are trapped by fear, despair, and hopelessness.

I need You to expose these abusers to their own selves first. And those who would repent and forsake this tragic behavior I ask You to save them and be merciful. Lord deliver their souls. You didn't come to destroy mens lives but You came to save them. The well have no need of a physician. Save them and set them free from their own bondage. In Jesus mighty name.

Those who refuse to repent, I ask You to stop them this very day! These women and children cannot wait any longer! Rescue them please Jesus step into their situations.

Children should never have to live in utter fear of the parent who is supposed to love, nurture, protect, and provide for them.

Strengthen the women who've been stripped of their ability to see any way out or to protect their babies. That's what ABUSERS do to them. Help them to rise up in Your spirit.

Lord Jesus step into these secret places this very moment, I'm begging You with tears! I plead Your blood over these victims. They might not have tomorrow. Please do it now!

Give us wisdom and discernment. Show us who suspect and see signs of abuse what to do. Expose the devil. Expose and help the abusers. Break them down and cause them to repent and accept deliverance.

These children cannot wait any longer. Step in and fight for them Jesus. Stop their suffering. You ARE their hope and Redeemer! Please Lord, in Jesus name. I'm calling on all of Heaven on their behalf today. And I'm EXPECTING to see You move. Thank You Father. All of my hope and trust is in You this morning. Amen.

Their Angels are always beholding Your face Heavenly Father. Put them in action today to protect these children everywhere. I'm trusting in the power of Your name and the power of prayer RIGHT NOW! Thank You Lord. I'm leaving the outcome to You! You are able to do this

David would become the shepherd boy who would not be moved by the lion.

Instead, He would sharpen His skills polishing the stones , being ready for the monster who comes with hunger in the night.

David knows that His sheep will not be moved, He knows the fat of the land, He knows this Lion will not have His way.

The sheep watch Him as he practices during the day, for they know that night is coming.

They watch Him when He smiles as he hits the practice target once again.

You see , the grass is so bountiful, the sheep will be happy and will grow abundantly, this is enough for our watchman, who soon will become king! He knows His sheep and they know Him!

Blessed is a nation who has such a king! Blessed is the seed of David, the one who would use the same skill to go against Goliath.

For this Goliath is nothing compared too the Lion!

I see again this one who stands fast against the enemy, only this time he is in the arena of the empire of nations, who will not help Him, but in fact, only watch and wonder if He shall win?

For the nations will not fight against the monster, even if it means they may go hungry , they will not fight for the grasses that will someday feed the sheep! You see, they are not shepherds, they are the ones who come up from another way, they do not care about the sheep!

These empires who watch and wonder can this little one succeed?

Surely, when He does, they will wish they had done more too help Him, for indeed He will have vengeance on all!

    Repent and be Baptized

What God ask you to do is "to go with faith to Him and ask Him to heal you." Many blind and disabled people lived during Jesus's time but a few got what they needed. Do you know who? The ones that went with faith to Him and asked for help. God never changed, He remains the same for ever.. The Gospel is written with one purpose. To show us how to approach God and live with Him. Do not hesitate. Go to God and ask for things. Also ask Him to heal your child and take care all your needs. Read Matthew 7:7-12. Fill yourself with trust and hope and go to God .We will pray for you. God Bless You dear Margaret.

You said my interpretation is flawed when it comes to the topic of people going to hell and the Lake of Fire but yet I can cite numerous verses of people going to hell, Scriptures about people being cast into the Lake of Fire, what it takes to gain salvation (the gospel) and so forth. You really believe that someone could be a Satanist and practice rituals, hate God, and still go to heaven? Another instance, In Revelation, it says those that accept the mark of the beast will be cast into the Lake of Fire and leaves no second chance for them. I hope realize that it's impossible for God to lie, and God very clearly says people will go to hell. Jesus can't lie either or he'd be a sinner and we would all be doomed in that case. I notice you haven't provided even a single verse to validate Universalism. You asked about Muslims, and yes every Muslim who dies without accepting Jesus will certainly perish in the Lake of Fire. The only way to avoid the second death, as the Bible very clearly says, is to trust and believe in Jesus as our Savior. I sincerely hope you actually give yourself a fair chance on this because right now you're making a false idol of a god that isn't in the Bible. I hope you get saved and come to trust the Lord and go on to share the true gospel with others because at this point I think it's clear that's not the case.

You will not find it in the Word of God, because at the last trump sound, the dead in Christ shall rise first. Now if Christians went to heaven when they die then it would not be any to "RISE". Another little point: why would God take you on to heaven just to pull you back out again on judgement day? The KJV states that everyone will be judged according to their works whether good or bad. Always take the Word of God over any man or women out here. If it's not in his Word, then it's not true! You have a blessed day.

The 2 witnesses are the 144,000 from Israel and Judah, the first fruits. In Rev 7:1-8 they are sealed. In Rev 7:9-15 they are standing in heaven, resurrected. It is not Elijah and Moses or Elisha or anyone else, but the 144,000. The witnesses, the 144,000 go the distance to the 7th trumpet, when they are taken up to heaven.

Elijah, Mal 4:5, is described in Rev 10. He comes to prepare us for the day of the Lord, before the 6th trumpet.

The witnesses, and Elijah have 2 separate and distinct tasks, and they are not the same. I bid you to prove them as one and the same, because you can't. I've told you this before, what else can I do? Let me help you:

Who are the 2 olive trees and 2 lampstands before God? The house of Israel and the house of Judah are the 144,000.

It is a great example of following feelings over scripture, and then you add in the other prophet, Elisha, to really confuse things. The scripture you quote identifies the saints, and no on else. You need to put some thought into this to bring about understanding.

    Deb,

Yes. Hebrews 9:27 was written for a reason. Elijah and Enoch were both men, and like men they were subject to death. "and God took them. Does it mean they were "raptured", Haha, whatever fits in your temple. The fact is their souls went back to God in heaven. Ezekiel 18:4

They are not equivalent or comparable to Christ in any way shape or form; they sleep. Any other explanation is contrary to the Bible's teachings. The writer romanticized their deaths, made them bigger than life; scripture proves this. It was a huge mistake to fantasize them, because God knows people can't differentiate fact from fiction, regardless of the law. These two prophets mortality wasn't any different than any other men of any time.

Hi Debbie B. I believe that 1 Peter 3:18-22 answers your question,

1 Peter 3:18-22 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison; Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water. The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ: Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.
