Christ has from the beginning been the BODY of the Father, and all the glory that implies.
He laid down all his glory, and became (sinful) flesh, born of a woman and died on the cross.
It was this body of (sinful) flesh that died, His FATHER (LIFE AND TRUTH) did not die.
Christ said into thy hands (Father) I (the body) commend my spirit (it's the Fathers spirit that gives LIFE, to the BODY).
Christ body lay in the grave three days, then A NEW BODY AROSE, by the LIFE and POWER of the FATHER.
That new BODY is MANKIND, the dwelling place of THE FATHER, and the son at his right hand.
Colossians 1:27 ....this MYSTERY ....CHRIST IN YOU.....
1 Corinthians 15:38 But God giveth it (his creation) a body (Christ is the BODY OF THE FATHER) as it has pleased him, and to every SEED HIS (CHRIST) own body.
YOU ARE THE BODY OF CHRIST, through the workings of CHRIST RESURRECTION.
Revelation 20:6 Bless and Holy is he that has his part in the FIRST RESURRECTION: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be Priest of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

....When Paul spoke of that New Born babe desiring the sincere milk of the world thats the H.G.the Child of Promise that is gona be born in us sinners....And the beautiful part is its gona be as the stars of heaven in multitude...So shall thy seed be..The Promise.
....Thats y he always refers to himself as the SON of MAN....Mankind is gonna bring forth fruit unto God...Which is the Child of Promise the H.G....An Israel of God..
.....Multiplication of Christ was that GREAT PROMISE...And God swore by his very self...Thats y the sower of that good seed wants to sow his precious Seed in our hearts...That it might form Christ in us via his seed...Thats y he has to know us....Thus there is a heavenly Child in our future...Thats y Jesus said unless you receive the Kingdom of God as a lil Child you will in no wise enter there in...So we are gona be a Child a second time...As there is NO SALVATION outside of the new Birth via his seed THE Living WORD...That New Covenant..The book in the Fathers right hand that is sealed for now.
.....When Isaiah saw the Kingdom coming he said unto us a Child is born unto us a son is given...Which is the H.G. that Child of Promise....As the H.G is the Kingdom..
I do think that abortionists and their assistants do know that they are taking a human life. In second trimester abortions (and third) the aborted baby parts need to be inventoried in order to assure that all have been evacuated from the uterus to avoid infection. They see that intake baby that has been pulled out of the uterus with forceps with the head crushed and the body burned from chemicals used to end its life. They see the arms, legs, heads, and torsos of babies that have been cut apart and then vacuumed out.
It is true that there is plenty fo "lukewarmness" in the church today, along with a high dose of worldliness. I saw the changes you mentioned taking place in the late 70's-early 80's and it has continued on a landslide scale through the 90's up to today. multisensory, self-centered, experience grounded "worship" has replaced that which is centered on God Himself and the truth of the Word. I do not have a problem with the changes in worship music, per se, but after contemporary music became the dominant form in the late 90's, "worship" very soon gave way to entertainment "worship". Instead of the visual of the lyrics displayed so all could see without looking down at a hymnbook, large monitors soon were used to display the "worship leaders doing their "thing" on stage. This is about when all the jumping around and such began on the "altar" which now was a stage. As you say, these soon began to resemble a rock concert as churches adopted the peculiar aspects of what is done in today's secular performances. I have visited churches that do this and it makes my heart sick.
This is all disturbing to me. The last time I went to a well known Christian concert I was first of all upset that he had large initials for his name on the stage, not Jesus' name and all of the strobe light just gave me a big headache. It was sensory overload. I had to put my jacket over my head and plug my ears to escape and spend time thinking clearly about the LORD. I could not leave, since I was with a group. That was the last time I went to such an event and don't plan to go again.
I have heard people say they do this "to be relevant" to the unchurched. But I do not think that we can hope to address people's spiritual needs by going through the flesh. "Flesh gives birth to flesh, but spirit gives birth to spirit" (Can't remember the verse that speaks of this.)
Along with this worldly style of worship, giant heresies have crept up within churches and are eagerly embraced.
How sad.
There was just a discussion related to this:

I'm sure there's been many others in the past too if you do an advanced search for it.
The Bible says when we die we will enter a state to await Jesus's return then will face judgment all together. It's called judgment day. Matthew 12:36, Hebrews 9:27. There's no verse saying you get to skip this, and nothing saying you go to heaven then go back to earth into your body, only to go back to judgment after you've already been in heaven.
Daniel 12:2
Job 14:12
1 Thessalonians 4:13-18
1 Corinthians 15:18-20
Matthew 9:24
Those who believe in instant heaven involves misinterpreting 2 key verses: 1. Misquoting Paul when he said he'd "rather" be in heaven (those sleeping in the grave haven't necessarily departed from their old bodies yet anyway), 2. Thief on cross when Jesus said that day he'd be in "paradise". Most ignore all the other verses above saying we will await Jesus's return, then have a day of judgment. God bless.
Please consider reflecting on Psalms 23, Psalms 46, Psalms 32, 1 Peter 5:7, 2 Timothy 2:1, Matthew 11:28-30.
"We have all different sorts of instructions on this Earth and books/media to tell us what to do. But God's Word is final and God always has first and the last Word on anything."
Thanks
1 Corinthians 15:22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
Most problem is they think man has to be saved in this age of grace, when scripture teaches most will be saved in the age of judgement.
Romans 8:19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth (in the grave) for the manifestation of the sons of God.
Romans 8:21 For the creature itself SHALL BE DELIVERED into the glorious liberty of the CHILDREN OF GOD.
This happens when Christ has gathered his elect in this age of grace and returns, in the age of judgement, to judge the world.
Isaiah 26:9 ....when thy judgements are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.

God bless.
