Lord God, thank you for opening up David's eyes and showing him the way to go as he daily read your word. Let him know that Faith, patient and understanding takes place in your scriptures. Instill in his heart that as he accept your love and free gift of Grace anger can no longer lodge. Assure David that once he accepted Jesus Christ to be his Lord and Savior Heaven is his and the prayers of the righteous availeth much. Reveal to David that what he just wrote down is a powerful prayer and that he already has it in him to pray over his family. May David learn about the finished work of Jesus dying on the cross for our sins and you paid the price. Thank you God that as David open your word up daily you will reveal more of your will to him. Do you understand the last three trumpets are for this generation, and that each nation fulfills the vision according to the prophets? Ezekiel 38:4 sees (Russia), who was always held back for various reasons, is being brought forth as the beast army to defeat His people, Babylon (US/allies). God's people become a run down Sodom and Gomorrah, military might which the beast was hired to destroy. Afterwards, God destroys the beast (of which He bragged about). Rev 18:4 or Sarmat. God performs the end-time order His way, it's His narrative. Man is a tool in His hand for that very purpose, regardless of how ill perceived that concept may be. It is similar to 'love of country', and the refusal to see the tidings for blindness of national pride. These people defend their leaders' corruption, and root for a country that God has pegged for destruction. They follow their own hearts, not knowing that they are the new Nazi's. They are too deceived, or a slave to what someone else believes.

I knew a guy named Cecil at Myrtle Beach Air Force Base. He adopted a 6month old baby girl that had been horrificly abused. I read your post several times. I closed the ap. Had to pray a little & think on your post. I haven't heard from our friend Cecil since I was a teenager. The MBAFB shut down shortly after those days & everyone moved away.

Cecil, GOD is Just. Have you heard of Moses? In Genesis, Abraham was promised several amazing things, a son from his 'wife', in their old age, etc. Gen. 12:2,3,7, but also that those heirs would be servant in strange land & afflicted 400 yrs. Genesis 15:12-13, if you read in depth you can find GOD's justice. Genesis 12:10-17, Genesis 16:1-16, Genesis 21:9-19 = it was in Egypt, Abraham's children of Sarah's son Isaac's offspring were afflicted.

Genesis 18, shows great mercy of GOD that if 10 righteous were in that land (Sodom & Gomorrah) it would've been spared. That's his Nephew Lot's friends & family. ?, Right here is proof the GOD interecedes on People's behalf when they obey HIM.

GOD's ways are not our ways, Isaiah 55:8,9,

We cannot blame GOD for wickedness of man = Genesis 6:5-6,

Yet GOD shows us mercy & unimaginable love, John 3:16-17, salvation through sacrifice, Psalms 18:25-27,

GOD is merciful, true & Just. If you read the books that go alongside Isaiah you'll get a clearer picture: 2Chronicles 36, Jeremiah 29, Jeremiah 51, Exodus 22:22, Isaiah 1:17, Isaiah 1:23, Jeremiah 7:6, Jeremiah 22:3, Ezekiel 22:7, Malachi 3:5, Zechariah 7:10, you can start with those verses because that's most of what GOD asked of Israel & Judah. Then please read the Books & chapters.

Then Babylon: 2Kings 20:12-18,19, Daniel 1, 2Kings 25:8-9, I stopped there because that's enough about the evil.

As we believe Satan's lies and deceit, they build one upon another until they form walls and the walls form a stronghold in our mind. Different types of lies and deceptions can form different strongholds within us. Satan erects every stronghold he can in our minds to keep us from the true knowledge of God and to destroy us. To the degree that he is successful we will not enjoy an intimate relationship with the Lord and may eventually turn away from God. Satan places a thought in our mind and makes us believe that it is our own thought. This is a critical part of Satan's deception.

In whom the god of this world [Satan] has blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them ( 2 Corinthians 4:4).

The Greek root for strongholds is "a place of strength," a place that is strong, fortified, protected behind strong defenses.

When the devil has developed a stronghold in a person's mind, they believe the lie of the stronghold and have a very difficult time believing truth that is presented to them. A stronghold is not a spirit, but it has been created by an evil spirit, and is attended by the evil spirit. Kind of like a farmer attending his fields. A stronghold can open the door to more spiritual deceptions.

Many Christians struggle in their walk, because they fail to remove strongholds. This happens because the enemy is occupying a part of their life. When a person accepts the Lord, they receive a renewed spirit and the Holy Spirit, but it is our responsibility to renew our mind with the Word of God. Unless these strongholds are pulled down, we will continue to struggle. In time, Satan may obtain his objective, to build strongholds in our mind that persuades us to turn from God and pursue the temporary things of the world. Strongholds in the mind of non-Christians can be very effective at blocking the truth of the Word.

I find many barely used, new smelling Bibles and Strongs Concordance at Goodwill stores: Salvation Army stores too. Their loss is our blessing. I give them away to people who want one. Walmart stores have Bibles near the gaming section. Priced Reasonable. Some are NIV or KJV.

Hi Lou. We're not told of how the Syrians dealt with leprosy, whether they even had a separate colony for them. Leprosy isn't highly infectious - but it is, when there is constant contact with the leper or transmission of bodily fluids. In any case, at that time, maybe not a lot was known about the disease, so people who were not incapacitated because of it, still moved around in society until they were homebound. With Naaman, it appeared that he was still able to function in his military duties, but with the signs of the leper there with the nerves being affected, it may have concerned him & the young maid gave that wise suggestion to him. As well, the Syrians & other nations, had never received a law from God in what to do in the event of leprosy being noticed in a person.

Dear Lord Jesus, give this resident skilled hands in performing this surgery on Maria's wrists. May the carpal tunnel areas be opened enough to provide healing of the nerves going through this area of bones, nerves, and tendons. I pray that Maria will do well with the anesthesia and have no complications with this surgery. Give her a calm and a peace as she goes into the surgery room and throughout the procedure. I ask that You will give her a successful recovery and help her manage any pain she has in the first week or so following this surgery. Give her needed help at home as she recovers. Genesis 1:26-28.

Do these verses suggest there were more than two people on earth at this point? No, since this is day six, mankind was the first couple (Adam and Eve). In Genesis 1:26, "man" (dm, is without the article, i.e., anarthrous) refers to mankind because, after using the singular "dm," it says "let them (plural) have dominion . . ." Then in Genesis 1:27, "the man" (hdm, with the article, i.e., arthrous) is used, which is followed by " . . . in the image of God he created him (singular)," then "male and female, he created them (plural)." In Genesis 2:7-8, 15-16, 18-23, 25, 3:9 12, 22, 24, and 4:1, the arthrous "hdm" is used and refers to the individual first man, Adam. Then in Adam's genealogy, Genesis 5:1-5, it is always anarthrous "dm." In Genesis 5:1, "dm" (twice) refers to the first man because it refers to "him." In Genesis 5:2, it refers to "male and female . . . them," who were "called "dm" when they were created. So "dm" refers to both male and female, but they were the first two humans (Adam and Eve).

In Genesis 5:3-5, "dm" clearly refers to the first man, Adam, who fathered Seth and had other sons and daughters.

Before looking at the text of Genesis 2, it is first necessary to establish the context of the narrative. Genesis 2 is a more detailed account of the creation of mankind on the sixth day of creation and not a secondary and contradictory account of creation to Genesis 1 nor a sequel chapter to it.

Hello Cecil. Just confirming that "the 6th trumpet army, His beast army", is your reference to Revelation 9:13-21? If so, I understand that this army of angels, God's army, doesn't refer to the Anti-Christ's army. How do you see God's Anger "at the beast for doing what God had asked of him; destroy Babylon"? The release of the four angels was for the slaying of one third of mankind. Maybe you could explain further how you have arrived at your conclusions as some assumptions you've made appear confusing in light of the Scriptures.

...continued When Moses continued to press Pharaoh to let the Israelites go into the wilderness to worship, Pharaoh relents and says they can go, but not to go far. People who are being released from bondage no longer need to listen or obey the former master under whom they had been in bondage to. People also, should wish to get as far away from this "master" as they can and not look back. Because, as this chapter shows us, the 'master' (pharaoh) reneged on his agreement and was not willing to let them go as soon as YHWH took away the plague of flies. He hardened his heart further. Sin is our master in our fleshly nature. We have been delivered from it by Jesus (YHWH). We should want to be as separated from it as the Israelites were separated by YHWH from the plagues of lice and flies, whereas before they had suffered the first plagues. They needed to learn the seriousness of remaining in bondage. They needed to learn to look to YHWH for all protection from enemies and unhealthy, unclean things. We should see sin as being far worse for us as these plagues. It is deadly. So, once we are delivered from sin, we should hate it in all forms and not desire to go back to it.

Were the Israelites learning that YHWH is truly the only God and the only One they can trust with their lives? Were they learning that YHWH was the One True God and the others they had learned about in Egypt were truly false? Were they learning that YHWH was the One True God worthy of their worship? I think God was working on these things with the Israelites before they leave Egypt so that they will never want to go back into a place of bondage. They needed to know what YHWH could do to them and what he could rescue them from so that they would not look back like Lot's wife. Certainly, the Israelites wanted to have their yoke of bondage eliminated, but if they were freed and could remain in Egypt would they ever leave? Probably not. they need to go with Him when He says go, and go where He says to go.

Was Naaman so infected with leprosy that he avoided being put in a leper colony or was it not looked down upon by the Arabs in the same way that the Jews considered leprosy?

This chapter continues with the plagues YHWH brings upon Egypt miraculously. The magicians of Pharoah are able to conjure up frogs, but not lice, nor flies. So, they admitted that this was the work of the finger of God. It is with the plague of flies that God spares the Israelites and their animals in the area of Goshen. Moses entreated YHWH each time to have the plague cease. The magicians could not make the plagues go away. The Israelites suffered under the plagues of water turned to blood, frogs, and lice. YHWH needed to teach the Israelites who He was and what He could do. They needed to be taught fear of the LORD. Then God showed His power in sparing them from the flies. They needed to learn about His mercy.

The Egyptian dust-god was named Geb, a god of fertility. YHWH making the dust into lice made what the Egyptians considered divine (dust) and most helpful into lice, something despised, unclean, and harmful. The Egyptian frog-goddess was named Heket. The frogs were normally confined to the water, so controlled by the water gods. But here, YHWH showed that these water gods really did not have any control as He was stronger. The Egyptian fly-god was Khepri (having the head of a fly) and was attributed to creation, the sun's movement, and rebirth. YHWH demonstrated power of this idol. YHWH not only could make the created substances that the Egyptians worshipped become pestilence, He could also make the plagues stop.

Again, YHWH tells Moses and Aaron to go meet Pharaoh on his way to the river. He most likely was going there early in the morning to worship. With the plague of flies, Pharaoh says he will let the Israelites go just a short ways from their homes to offer sacrifice. Moses had asked for a three-day journey to worship. Moses says that the Egyptians will be offended if they are close enough to the area to offer their sacrifice of bulls and rams. The Egyptians would be appalled because they worshipped bulls, calves, and other livestock.
