If people say our souls are in our bodies, and that's the part of us going to Heaven, how are we suppose to believe that because we actually don't know if our souls are actually there?

My aunt Gilda just recently found out that she has a toenail yeast infection. This is a major setback, she has around 250 cats at her house. If she does not get better soon, she is going to have to get her leg chopped off. And if that happens, she cannot feed her cats, and that's the only thing that gives her happiness and joy, and the Bible of course. But she really needs help! And those cats NEED her, they really do.

    PRAY FOR GILDA!

By the grace of God I have been saved from all addictions including cigarettes alcohol & both cocaine and crack cocaine. I grew up with both parents being alcoholics. I ended up following in their footsteps but progressed on to harder things. For my teenage years into my fifties... I was a hardcore drug user..... Like everyday if I didn't have it I would get really mad and upset. I craved it all the time. And most days I would get it not by stealing from other people. I've been married twice and both of my husbands have made pretty good money so they could supply us with our needs... I've always been a believer of God since I was little but never really want to church. When I was in my 40s I started going to church periodically and then more and more that's when God came to me with his loving arms and gently took me out of my darkness. My loving father has never given up on me and has always been there I just couldn't see it but now I do. Thank you God for everything that you have blessed me with in my life I love you with all my heart and I will never forsake you. In Jesus's name I pray amen....PS I just want everyone to know how loving God is to everyone if you want him you can find him knock and seek and you will find him he will change your life in ways that you have never dreamed of. Always remember to be grateful for what you have... Life is not easy but don't give up and with God anything is possible. I wish you all the best in your journey with our Lord and savior Amen

Behold I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy and nothing shall by any means hurt you"! God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, please show this precious child of yours that he has Christ victory imputed to him. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen Please read and study The entire books of Colossians, Philippians, Galatians, and Ephesians. Renounce and break all family soul ties connected to this watercraft evil from satan. Break any other soul ties, for example: erotic, food, family and friends, also intimate situations in which you were not married and so on. (Renounce any involvement that you have had with satan or the occult, and any other sin). We must live holy because God is Holy. Do this all verbally and don't be afraid. Read the book the Adversary by Mark I Bubeck, a used copy dated before 1995 if VM possible, and never give in, up, or out. When you become weary rest and eat good food preferably that you prepare or someone you know that you can trust. Make up your mind that you are seated in heavenly places with the Lord Jesus Christ and satan and his wicked spirits, ways, methods, and tactics are under your feet and defeated by the death burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ; and boldly say so verbally. It once took three years for one of my first breakthroughs. I just made up my mind that Christ was and is my Lord and Savior and it wasn't a matter of "if" but "when", victory will come. The Word of God can never be changed or broken, so stand.

Take good care, you are not alone...there is a remnant!

I'm not sure where you fellowship, or if you do; but if there are some elders you can call upon, consider this passage:

    James 5

"14Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:

15And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

16Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much."

I do want to point out that only men can be elders, so if your church has women in position of leadership, they need to be rebuked, and if they will not hear the Word of God, you need to sanctify yourself because they are leavened ( 1 Corinthians 5:6-8):

    1 Timothy 2

"11Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.

12But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.

13For Adam was first formed, then Eve.

14And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.

15Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety."

    1 Corinthians 14

34Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law.

35And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.

36What? came the word of God out from you? or came it unto you only?

    1 Corinthians 11

3But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

    See also:

1 Timothy 3 (which says If a "man" desire the office of a bishop..., and the "husband" of one wife)

Titus 1:5-7 (uses elder and bishop interchangeable incase you were wondering what a bishop was - and reiterates the "husband" of one wife)

Hi all Happy Saved People, in peace. So true: A word from the Bible can free a human being from all the shackles and bonds T. Levis. I have never experienced the Word of God as something that binds, I share the word happily, It is the Only True word and Jesus Is there. Today it was John Ch. 3.

Today meeting we sang a verse: Purified in the Blood of Jesus, the Holy Blood. The only sacrificial blood that can cleanse us from all sin. And we can live in Freedom, cleansed and pure in His Blood that flowed at Calvary, i said if we hunger for righteousness and confess our sins! Good news? YES!

Gen.3 6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes,

it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired t.

Genesis 6:6 And it repented unto the LORD that he had made man upon the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.

First the Lord creates man and woman and afterwards He repented.

Tree of Life: Is a symbol of Eternal Life. How should we humans get it? We already have eaten from the Tree of Knowledge? Because with that, we would understand everything eventually. In the last days, and we do the knowledge will be great among many. But human knowledge is foolishness to God.

    That is why He repented.

1 Chorintians 3: 19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.

But if you Donkor Makini are in the spiritual world, we will be able to see parallels to this in the earthlyto. Please share Holy Bible words.

You can prophesy but never be afraid to share it. All we have is the work of the Lord, not our own. For us, it is impossible to do something ourselves really, because it becomes very earthly. We want to live in the Spirit, even though we are in the flesh. Dear friends we reach for what lies ahead. We have got something that is so much bigger than what is on earth. Love you in Christ.

God bless you in the Holy Name above all other Names Jesus Christ our Lord.

There was no other nation like ISRAEL....They were sola scriptura....The written word only...But Israel stoned most all the Prophets and rejected the Christ...They were married to the law ....But they didn't understand that It was a clean Heart that God wanted.....Not a big temple....Jesus asked one day which of the Prophets have not your father stoned...There was no eternal life in written words. The written word ( the law ) was Glorious as the face of Moses Shoned ....But Jesus said your fathers ate manna in the desert but are all dead.....Search the scriptures in them you think you have eternal life but it is them that testify of me which is the living words, his voice as my words are spirit and life...which is the Living words which contains a living being in them a baby Christ is in his seed a living baby God....as that which is born of the spirit is spirit....thats the H.G. the Child of PROMISE.....The living word/seed etc......If The writen word.....if there were salvation in the written word then JESUS SHED HIS BLOOD IN VAIN.....If there were salvation in the written words the cross was just foolishness.....Even in the O.T. without the shedding of Blood there was no remission of sins...a living lamb had to die.....

The written word answers to the lesser light a nite light but Jesus said if aman walks in the nite he is gona stumble....But the living word answers to a greater light a day star our son/sun...the living word....As it was only Jesus that is the light of the world....But if we walk in the nite ( bible only ) the written word only we will stumble as there is no eternal life in the scriptures only....Remember David says thy word is a light unto my feet and alamp unto my path but David stumbled ( bathsheba ) ...David was still under the law the lesser light.....But God forgave David and Bathsheba.....1 st child died but 2 nd Child was the great King Solomon...but she had to travail again...My lil CHILDREN of whom i travail in birth AGAIN . Yes Gavin, 1 & 2 Esdras are not included in the Canon of Holy Scripture because they, alongwith some other writings, did not meet the strict criteria for their inclusion. I believe that the Roman Catholic Bible doesn't include 1 & 2 Esdras either, but they are found in some Greek Orthodox, Episcopal & Lutheran Bibles. And these Esdras books & others are considered apocryphal, which means, "hidden", & were rejected for their dubious authority, authors & events.

    Hello John,

I myself have had many beautiful discussions with Mormons & Jehovah Witnesses. I'm sorry if I mix up the teachings. 1st I want to say many of both, are very kind, I liked just about everyone I encountered. With few exceptions. However, many scriptural discussions seemed to point to teaching that was not in-line with JKV HOLY Bible.

1st important 1= Galatians 1:3-10, 2 Corinthians 11:3-4, teach don't believe another gospel even if an Angel brings, Mormons have a "new" teaching brought from "An Angel".

2nd Book of Mormon, addition to Bible? Psalms 89:34, Rev. 22:18, Deuteronomy 12:32,

3rd Mormons teach that Women can't be prophets untrue : Judges 4:4, Luke 2:36, Joel 2:28.

4th & maybe most important Mormons don't believe CHRIST Jesus is who HE says HE is. : Isaiah 53, Psalms 22, John 19, John 1,

    Why do you ask?

Baptist are supposed to believe in Scripture.

I myself like to stick to the WORD of GOD. Those two are not your only choices. The choices really come down to the WORD itself here's some : John 3:15-16, Matthew 25:31-46, James 1:26-27, John 14:16,

    Hopefully this is helpful.

My understanding about this Woman in Rev 12 : 5 giving birth is like Jesus asked who is my Mother ? Them that hear the WORD and keeps it....So this woman has heard the Word that heavenly seed and she has kept it resulting in a birth of a baby Christ in her....making her his spritual Mother....which answers to the field the world were that good seed will be sown....and the world is humanity ....what i am trying to say is the result of the sower and his precious seed is this Woman...The world, if I be lifted up I will draw ALL men unto ME...Remember God so loved the world humanity...And God is no respector of Persons.....And according to Rev. 12 : 10 ....It says NOW IS COME SALVATION and the KiNGDOM of our God and his Christ....her baby is a baby Christ via this new covenant a birthing COVENANT.....NO NEW BIRTH NO KINGDOM.....No Child no kingdom ....

Ya gota realize he neva refers to himself as any other name then the SON OF MAN....Which means mankind is gona birth a Baby Christ via his death...smite the shepard and the sheep will be scattered, then i will turn my hand to the LITTLE ONES....Thus the woman and her Baby which is the H.G. that Child of PROMISE.....This Woman is fulfilling that great Promise that Christ wd be multiplied as the stars of heaven...The WOMAN is the world and her Child is gonna be as the stars of heaven.....which is our new innerman the H.G. the Children of Promise....Even in the natural a birth always implies a Child.....no Child no new birth.....But he will not have a crop failure....Simply b/c his seed which is his Word cannot return unto him void...k mi voy

Hi Gloria. I believe this verse in Hebrews 12:1, describes "weight" as any encumbrance or burden that would come in the way of us finishing the race before us. Jesus is our goal, not only to be with Him but to live for Him in the life He has given us. He is the reason for our salvation & the sure hope we now have for time & eternity. If He means that much to His followers, then His followers must continually examine themselves (any sins & any hindrances), deal with them & live before Him in all good conscience. Otherwise, we might just be ashamed at His Coming - when His Coming is unexpected.

Recently, I was pondering in my mind with the LORD about this account & I knew there would be a discussion about this. For some of us it's easier to fight, much more difficult to submit to circumstances beyond our control; especially when it's unjust. I relate with Peter. I was thinking how Peter had come to the realization the Jesus was the CHRIST, MESSIAH. Jesus had just said : Luke 22:27-30.

Is there much more knowledge we're supposed to get from this?

Luke 22:36, Luke 22:38, 2 swords enough? Do you think Jesus was being literal or testing them? Do you feel the act of aggregation saved the Disciples? John 18:8-9, ( I've thought that) but look at: John 18:10. "Then._." it seems to be after Jesus had already set their pardon.

    Luke 22:40,42, Luke 22:43-46, Matthew 26:36-44, Mark 14:33-39, Zechariah 13:7, ( Mark 14:27 , Matthew 26:56 )

    Matthew 16:15-27,

    * Mark 14:27, offended? Matthew 26:33-35,

Mark 14:42-50, Luke 22:47-51, John 18:10-11, Matthew 26:50-52, Were they offended because Jesus didn't fight, nor let them? after He had said to get swords? Would we be offended if Jesus healed our enemy, we thought we were defending Him from? Then rebuke them/Peter or us openly? John 18:6, Matthew 26:53,

Luke 22:54, John 18:15, Why did Peter follow? Luke 22:33, Where is our strength? In our flesh & resolve, or GOD & HIS will?

    Mark 14:29-31,

    Luke 22:55-62,

    Matthew 10:17-22, Matthew 10:28-34,

    Acts 12:1-12,

    Romans 8:34-39,

    Ephesians 6:10-18,

Do you think it was much easier to fight? Matthew 26:41, Luke 22:32,

    Isaiah 55:8-9,

Thank you for that extra information, Dr. Lee. I understand that you apply the term, Old Testament', to the other Laws, whereas we commonly refer to the OT as that part of the Bible that contains all the testaments/covenants with their applications, ramifications, & performance by the people. When you refer to Galatians 3:19, I read that it speaks of the Law, ordained (not created) by angels; for it's not in their power to create. And this Law has to include all the Law & not only the other Laws, as in Galatians 3:10-17.

It seems that it would be easier & more understandable to all if we spoke of the Law given as the Ten Commandments & the Other Laws. To introduce the wording: 'Old Testament' into this seems misleading as the Testament is the Covenant which must also include all the Laws applicable to it. And a Testament must of necessity include the death of the Testator to come into effect; to which the Old (Mosaic) Testament included the shedding of blood as dedication or consecration of that Promise ( Hebrews 9:16-22). Since God cannot die, it clearly looked ahead when He would do, in His Son, Who became the "Mediator of the New Testament" (the better Covenant: Hebrews 8:6). And the Old (Mosaic) Covenant simply being those Laws which God had given, to which both parties were to fully comply with (Deuteronomy chapter 28).

I realize that this is different to what you've stated, but as I've considered the Scriptures you've given, I can't see the need to differentiate the Old Covenant & the Old Testament in the way you suggest. Have you given it merely to create a difference between the two (sets) of Laws, or is there a specific Scripture you see to denote that the Old Testament applies to the other Laws?

I am a bit confused as to the time span here in Exodus. It says the daughter of Levi, gave birth to Moses. Even if it has been 80 years since this birth, how do we get 400 years of suppression of the people of Israel, and time spent amongst the people. Joseph brought Israel and his brothers, including Levi to Egypt. The math seems off here. How do we get 400 years from Levi to Moses if it is just 2 generations?

I have a rule myself to let the HOLY Spirit teach us as we read. 1 John 2:27, John 14:26,

Sometimes we have to work at "unlearning" what someone tells us the Bible says. GOD's WORD is a "living Word" it teaches, corrects, edifies._.. 2 Timothy 3:16, & gives us wisdom. James 1:5,

Genesis 34, is the account. Notice : Genesis 34:2, they were Hivite

    Exodus 23:28, Exodus 34:11, Exodus 33:2, Genesis 10:15-19, Joshua 9,

    Hopefully this is all helpful.

Thank you "GiGi" for pointing out her approximate age through scriptural knowledge. Genesis 30:19-31, Genesis 31:38-41,

Genesis 33:13-17, it says after they met Esau, they built a house & booths for cattle it doesn't say exactly how long they were there. It appears they may have left when Joseph was about 6 yrs. old because Genesis 31:41, But it was before Joseph was 17, Dinah seems to be older sister, they then pitched a tent._ Genesis 33:18-20 The only accounts of age we're given is Joseph was born & Genesis 30:25, Genesis 37:1-2, yet Joseph went to find his brethren in (Shechem) so was this timing, a historical account putting both situations about the same time? Genesis 37:11-14, because later Israel/Jacob tells Joseph about his mother's death & burial, that happened on Journey Genesis 35:1, Genesis 35:15-20, Genesis 35:27-29, Genesis 48:1-7, Genesis 45:25, Genesis 46:6,
