God told Noah that the plant were for food and healing. So I think using cannibus for medical ailments is good just like using alcohol to calm an upset stomach as Paul told Timothy to do. I don't believe God want us to be drunk

Or high , however, as we are urged by Paul to be sober-minded. I also do not think that our lungs were mad to inhale substances other than fresh air and tobacco and other inhaled substances damage the lungs.

Therefore, I think cannibus should not be smoked, but taken by mouth.

There are some medical problems that it helps, but other substances may help better than cannibus. One should research and consult their doctor when treating medical

    Problems.

Confusion here. When Christ comes into the sky to be seen by all but not actually returning to earth, the dead in Christ will rise first, then the living will be called up to meet the lord in the air. I would then assume that those that never got called up who are alive on the earth and those that are dead in their graves will then have to live through the 7 year great tribulation? Second Question. The Bible tells us that the soul that sinneth shall surely die. We are all sinners therefore when a person passes away if their soul goes to heaven or hell then why does Christ need to come back to the earth in the sky to take someone with him when they have already been taken from the grave when they died? The Bible tells us that the dead are dead and conscience of nothing. I thought the soul and the body where one as God breathed the life through his nostril and created a living soul, a man. I hope this makes sense and you can find me scriptures or explain just how this works. I have 2 different versions here of what happens after a person dies. If their soul immediately went to heaven then would that not make them immortal? Thank you.

Agreed Free that the law is written on our heart and the Spirit convicts us when we disobey. The fact that it is written on our hearts does not say that God's moral states have changed for God is consistent in what He seems to be morally good and morally evil. But being in Christ, we ar not blinded by the wirkd's deception of calling good evil and evil good. We now know what God deems good and evil. In love we obey His moral statutes so we can follow Christ's commands to love Gid and love others. When I am honest I am loving others, if I lie to someone, I am being unloving. If I am faithful to my husband, I am being loving, but if I am unfaithful, I am being unloving. The same is true for the rest of the 10 commandments- obeying them is loving God and loving others. Yet we are called to an even higher level of obedience, since there are everyday instances where we are faced with a loving choice in a situation and an unloving choice, and the Spirit calls us to always choose the most loving choice in any given situation.

We are urged over and over again to live godly lives. I have explained here how we do that as we walk by the Spirit and not fulfill the desires of the sinful nature which still resides in us until we put on the incorruptible.

Rod When born again by the spirit and walking via the spirit by believing faith then the product displayed

there is no law against because we walk in the perfect law of love agapeo by the spirit. That is by putting on

the mind of christ Gods revealed word spiritual knowledge and walking in it.

Rod thank you for your post.

When I read what Paul speaks about the OT law in Romans and Galatians, I have read it explained that people cannot use the law to earn right standing with God since everyone will break the law and the Law is unable to remit sin nor make us able to put to death our sinful nature. Only grace is able to do that.

My understanding is that Paul was not saying we do not have an obligation to God to obey His moral standards, but that obeying them does not earn us out salvation. However, grace has the power to put to death our sinful nature and therefore enables us to obey God's moral standards. Grace can accomplish what the law cannot: bring us salvation through faith in Jesus and the power to live an obedient lifestyle by the the Spirit who

Lives in us to will and do God's will.

I am not sure exactly what You are asking. My comment to your post was in reference to what it seemed to me that You do not believe Jesus is God.

Titus 2:13 days that we are " looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our Great God and Savior Jesus Christ."

    In John 20:28

Thomas said of the risen Lord Jesus "My Lord and my God" and Jesus accepted what Thomas said. He did not deny being God.

In Matthrw 1:23 Jesus is referred to as "Immanuel" which is translated "God with us."

John 1:1 says "On the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God"

And then in John 1:14 it says of Jesus

"And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth."

So this passage in John identifies Jesus as God in the flesh (the eternal Word)

Therefore the scripture say that Jesus is God, but he was also man, having come

In the flesh. He had two natures, a divine nature and a human nature, both on the one Petson of Jesus.

His nature as God cannot sin because God is perfectly holy and never changes in such qualities of His essence.

So I think I have answered your question.

    I've posted this previously,

In the Gospels, Jesus quotes the old testament many times and how in his coming the old testament is fulfilled,

in Colossians 2:14-15 Jesus is talking about blotting out the handwriting of ordinances, not the laws. Hebrews 9:11-14 explains why the ordinances are no longer necessary, because of the blood of Christ,

Rather he exemplifies the laws as in Matthew 5:18-45, 18-"For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled." Romans 3:31 "Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law." Galatians 5:14-23 "For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself." 22&23 "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith," "Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law."

Hi Dawn. No, you won't find any evidence of such advanced medical procedures in the Bible. People in those days who suffered organ failure would have just grown increasingly weak in body until death overtook them. They probably didn't even know what was causing their sickness & prolonged suffering. However, there were very elementary practises of alleviating medical problems, by using natural methods or whatever special foods or plants that were proven useful. We understand that Luke, a doctor ( Colossians 4:14) tended to give a little more emphasis on the medical side of situations, in his Gospel & Acts. But if one asked whether it was morally or biblically correct for a Christian to have an organ transplant, then one would have to be convinced in his/her own heart about the matter. Personally, I wouldn't have a problem with it, understanding that God has given man that ability to progress in the medical field for the general health & enjoyment of life of so many. How far man goes on with that knowledge (i.e. intruding into or altering God's Design), would be very wrong & he will have to give account of his actions one day.

    Hi Michael

You mention Satan was an archangel.

Could you show me in the scriptures where it says that?

    Thanks
