BTW if you read part of my tesitmony I replied back to Rick you'll see I go by "Karen Sue" because God made me New in Him and used the Saving of my mom to help me to like my middle name. Kinda like changing Saul to Paul:) It's funny strange how when my dad was not in Alzheimer mood he shared he named me after an Actress named Karen Steele who he lusted after that was in westerns and this should've made me not like my name too but I guess since I had a bonding with my dad who once beleived in God then and not her as my mom abandoned me as a baby and I lived with GP in TN on cotton farm til I was 2.5 yrs.

I really do not think the retired pastor in that prayer mtg meant it the way it sounded. I do believe he meant grieving the Holy Spirit by choosing to stay in sin when Jesus died to offer New Life in Him who is Holy and cannot sin!! I may or may not ask him one day if God leads me only! I do believe I will talk to Our church Pastor Sunday for his take on this subject since he leads the prayer mtg on Sun night and surely he heard this too.

He changed both my Birth parents at different times brought them back to me & for me to assist in their care as they were getting ready to depart this world. I know when I surrendered my hurts to God on the floor of my laundry room He drew me on my face before Him so I could be healed & restored to Him from what satan tried to do to destroy me from Many abuses from them and others in the court system, homes, etc. and choices I made which seem worse than they made becasue I wouldn't Let Go & Let God! Thank God for me giving my heart at age 11 once but again in foster care at age 13 with a church family who failed me too & abused me but not the same way. I suffered a little more as God allowed to to bring me where I am today to be a testimony of His saving Grace to others who have gone through what I have & to let them know, that No Matter how far we stray, His hands reach further than we can imagine if We give to. Thank God for Him bringing my mom out of a coma after me praying & fasting for 7 days & calling long distance to tell her I've prayed for her to let go, "She said as if she was awake & her bold self, "Karen Sue", don't you know I'm going to be in Heaven with Jesus & You(BTW, No One ever called me that but her & it was attached to abuse but now attached to a bonding satan & NO ONE can take from me), I do believe this was God's way of saying to me it is finished!!..My birth dad, 2018 God brought to me to take care of 1yr1mo & he turned back to God & ask me to forgive him & said he was sorry. We had an awesome healing that God did! I Know whom I've believed and am persuaded He is able to keep that which I've committed unto Him against that day. I do not believe this retied pastor meant it the way it sounded. So, I pray for Him & Us that God reveals His word to Us so We can always be Sound in His word & have an anwser for those around Us.

In the Gospel of John chpt.14:27 Jesus Christ says Peace or unity will I leave with you not

as the world giveth [temporary] give I unto you, notice this is said right after he teaches about the Comforter

or the holy ghost coming and will teach us all things. When born again one of the great blessings of this is we

now have Gods peace via the spirit residing in us. This is one of the many things Jesus Christ made available when

he accomplished our redemption in His completed ministry. The word chastisement is to instruct which in John

14 as in other places in fact John 13,14,15,16 are loaded with instruction in many areas of whats coming and

the Love we are to walk in toward each other first then others. Romans 5:1 we have peace with God its not maybe

I have followed west coast church issues for years because of the wonderful Christians who I know labor there. I had a good friend walk a cross out there and street preach around Santa Cruz. He moved to Las Vegas.

I gave a word to my pastor in Tulsa, who I think passed it to Carman. It was about generations of sin. I saw a generation that would rise up and fight for the innocent and those without strength.

It would be a misconception to assume God doesn't hold people accountable to His moral law. We will all face judgment. Good is rewarded and evil is fairly punished and scripture supports that. There are some great responses already with lots of scripture supporting it.

God isn't a bogeyman out to get people, He wants people to choose to love and follow Him, but if people stubbornly reject Him and willingly choose evil then they will be accountable to God's fair punishment. He won't force people to spent eternity in His presence in heaven if they have rejected God.

Many evil people in this world appear to get by with their evil and have no justice, whether its serial killers that were never found, or congress people in Washington D.C. who use their position to receive bribes, steal and harm others. Did Hitler adequately get any natural justice for his evil in this world? I believe not. People may get by with it temporarily in this lifetime but no one escapes judgment from God after this life. There are some natural consequences of sin but that's not the real punishment.

Accountability to God's moral law is good. Some assume that man's own made up morals supersede God's moral law and that's another misconception.

Those who think evil should be ignored or rewarded probably haven't been victims of heinous crimes before. For example of an innocent person was violently attacked, violated and left for dead, the person who committed that evil will be accountable for God. Victims usually want accountability, not necessarily for revenge, but out of fairness and so that no further people are harmed. God bless...

Go to a church that talks about this stuff. As Joseph did when Egypt was facing 3 1/2 years of famine (in the Bible), store some food and water; maybe rent a storage unit? I'm thinking being prepared for anything is better than last minute mobs at the grocery stores.

And if we are raptured out of here, our left behind friends and family can use that stored food.
