  • THE PLAN OF GOD - In Reply - 4 years ago
Jesus chose not to sin. He is the perfect Lamb of God. His sacrifice for us was acceptable and accepted.

By faith Abraham obeyed God and almost sacrificed Isaac. The willingness and obedience is what saved US.

Generations flew by, bring the sinless blood of Jesus through generations of ancestors; until Joseph and Mary. Jesus would be fully God and LEGALLY human. Satan isn't human. He is an outlaw spirit/fired archangel.

Satan didn't know the plan. All he knew was Genesis 3:15. Many times attempts were made against Jesus in his ministry but he was protected by God. On the day of the fulfilling of Isaiah 61/ Luke 4:18__They tried to stone Jesus.

When Jesus was fasting 40 days He was tempted by satan. Jesus fought back with scriptures. He never sinned in 33 years. He did it FOR US! His children. He fulfilled every single prophesy spoken about Him. Look at the charts on Google. Every jot, every tittle.

The day Jesus was crucified Satan turned the crowd into a demon and Jesus was found guilty. If Satan knew the plan, he would not of done that. THE PLAN WAS THAT THE sinless Son of God would die for sinful mankind: dead, alive and future. He would also TAKE WHAT SATAN STOLE FROM Adam. DOMINION, and the KEYS. He stripped Satan. Hanging on the Cross, Jesus's Blood ran down the Cross into the EARTH. Jesus secured ALL AUTHORITY.

He gave us permission to use HIS NAME, HIS POWER, HIS LEGAL AUTHORITY__to absolutely act in His Will towards earth and man; Satan and demons.

OUR PRAYER LIFE could be powerful. We're Not orphans. We are children OF THE KING OF KINGS, LORD OF lords.

Pray for the lost to come to Jesus. Fight against their spiritual chains of sin. Like Jesus did, Use the Scriptures. Those are your weapons to use against spiritually deaf and blind, sinners.

GO YE MEANS EVERYBODY. The Lord of the Harvest is waiting on the BODY OF CHRIST to join with THE HEAD. Jesus!! Do it.

Did everyone receive holy Spirit when they take water batism?
  • Lauren - In Reply - 4 years ago
John Lawrence, I appreciate your comments. For years, mostly unconsciously, I believed in God's "punishment."

I saw only God's "punishment" in the bearing of my Cross. I also "threw stones" at people, thinking I was helping them. I was a babe in Christ. The belief in personal punishment kept me conveniently in my own imagined autonomy and power, I was actually terrified to stand on my own before God and confess Christ. It was rather wicked, all this mea culpa. Imagine that, terrified of love. Terrified of forgiveness. Over time I was led to deeply question the Church's teachings

and the whole sacramental "system," Christ taught me to think, and receive, for myself. And then start to give away

what can never be depleted. But the need to "self-punish" through the image of a punishing God runs deep, until it doesn't.

    Mishael,

If I'm understanding you right you're wanting us to pray for Earthquakes in California? Because unrighteousness within Newsomes' policies & appointed directors? No. Amos 5:18-20, Jude 1,

Please let's instead pray for Justice within our elections especially California! Justice within the Courts. Orange Co. has years backlogs on Felony cases= no arrests. Pray, Justice within the streets. Protection for our Brothers & Sisters in CHRIST all over California!!!! Protection for their families, their fellowships, places of gathering!! Protection for fellow believers against lawlessness, racial hate crimes especially towards "white 'blanco' ", black & Asian people only because of their Citizenship status, color of hair, eyes, & skin. LORD please help us! Pray for the many Pastors like Greg Laurie, thousands of true outreach ministries all over California. Pray for the over 200,000 US citizens homeless & literally dying on the streets because of bad policies, neglect, injustice & wrongful allocation of housing. Matthew 25:31-46, Pray for Justice within the IRS, & Ca. Tax "authority" that wrongfully go after Christian believers & completely ignore billions or trillions of $ income, businessess, smuggling trades, & working "undocumented" unfairly & biased.

California is like no other, it is a place of love, grace, mercy, acceptance, refuge. What has caused such enormous problems: it's loving open arms of grace, the enemy & evil doers have taken advantage & turned it into lawlessness. Jude 1:4,

Hopefully this is helpful to you're understanding. Pray GOD see & help

Deliver California O' GOD ALMIGHTY from the oppressors, help YOUR children, please O' LORD, in JESUS name we pray. Protect YOUR people like YOU've done so many times for me before. Thank YOU LORD

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

yeah, I like this Rick. I have struggled in the past with feeling sorry for myself, feelings of

abandonment, which come from the belief that I have been abandoned or rejected. The deeper I go

in prayer, the more clearly amazed I am and overcome with joy and humbleness, to realize

that not only did Jesus come for me. He DIED for me, shed his blood for me, he claimed me

with his very blood..... The revelation of this has blown me away, that he loved me so much....

I mean, he didn't just buy me a Hallmark card and gift for my birthday! He wiped out my sin!

How on earth could I continue to believe I am abandoned? How could I dis his Blood like this?

I mean, what his Blood accomplished for me? Who could understand this mystery, except

those who walk in faith, and to whom it's been revealed? What amazing grace and mercy,

that God is so in love with even us! God loves when we pray, "Lord, please show me how

much you love me, and why.... I have forgotten." Doors really start to fly open.
  • Many Rapture (Caught Up) references in the Bible - 4 years ago
The parable of the 10 virgins is a good view of the Rapture. Be ready with lamps filled with oil (which represents the Holy Spirit).

Everyone receives an invitation to the Marriage Supper, but not everyone will accept.

We became the Generation that will not pass without seeing the Return of Christ; when Israel became a State in 1948. Experts agree that a generation is somewhere between 70-80 years.

The Fig Tree is Israel; and it's blooming. We are grafted into Israel.

They are returning. They are working the Land. The land blooms & produces when Jews are there.

They are defending their land. It DOES NOT belong to Ishmael's Ancestors. Not one square inch.

Their hearts are turning to love The God of Israel.

Rather than mourn the running down of the clock, we need to think evangelistically. Jews and Gentiles must be saved and sealed. God does NOT separate, by names or denominations of Churches.

I pray we are reproducing Christ in people who visit this website. Philippians 1:21

Oh let us keep in mind why we are still here.

    Don't be distracted.

the way of faith is full of paradoxes. In Isaiah 53 it says the suffering servant poured out his life unto death.

And that he bore the sin of many. And many other things.... all of which are happening within us, as the Lord

is within us. So, we suffer, yet our yoke is easy and our burden is light What a mystery. I am

deeply desiring to understand and to live that redemptive love. "So that death worketh in us, but life in you."

I sit with this a lot....... Thank you for your comment, I have pondered that question deeply too. I know one thing, there is no guilt or fear or condemnation in Christ's suffering on earth; O suffering, where is thy sting? When we are covered in the Blood of the Lamb there is peace, and the darkness, in him, is always coupled with great light.

Almost no-one understands the law of nature relating to action and consequence, even though it is blindingly obvious. Your quotes are all redactive material uttered by priests ( never Christ's favourite people) designed to instil fear into followers, retain their unquestioning loyalty, and allow them to believe that they can avoid the consequences of their sinful lives by sacrifice (to said priests) instead of by confronting their own inadequacy and changing their ways which is what Christ implores everyone to do.

I don't normally respond to anonymous material: if "T Levis" is your name we can debate, otherwise (which I suspect) I won't make any further response to you

    Ruth,

So sorry to hear of his passing.

We can be assured that God heard all of our prayers. And that He makes the best

    Decisions in these circumstances.

A blood infection is very serious as it can lead to sepsis quickly. It is hard to have a loved one under the care of doctors and hospital staff and not have much say.. I am sorry that you had to go through All of this.

Thank you forgetting back time. We pray for these requests and don't always find out how things work out. This is a sad outcome. We just are left with trusting God in all things and knowing that He is good and just in all of His ways.

    God bless you, Ruth.

    Alan F. Portelli,

I appreciate your exactness. I have understood it to mean what you've stated. With emphasis on "few''. With a cross reference to Matthew 22:14. Matthew 20:16, Numbers 26:54, Luke 13:23-24, Matthew 7:14,22,23,

Romans 5:19 with "many" referred to in like manner: because scripture says 'all' Romans 3:23,

    Romans 2:12,

Perhaps the word "many" is used to help us understand the magnitude of people and striking contrast to the emphasis on the word "few" as opposed to a translation of "all" would it seem impossible or less significant per the reader?

    Hopefully this is helpful.

Thanks for the prayers. He passed away Jan 1. We accepted this as the will of God. I was able to pray with him via messenger video, I just hope that deep in his heart that he has truly accepted Jesus as his Savior as I was always praying for this. It is disheartening that he was admitted for blood infection only but ended up with blood clot and ventillator. I do

not trust the hospitals anymore. They gave him

strong antibiotics and always pushing for aggressive medical apparatus.

May God protect us from doctors and hospitals who are marketing partners pf drug companies.

Sister LaTonya, you're often in my prayers. Thank you so much for thinking about and praying for me. I do praise God for bringing me through Covid, when the drs. refused me any help at my local hospital , the peace of God came down and my lungs began to open up! Hallelujah! I felt like Peter. As long as I kept my eyes on the Lord walking to him on the water I was fine. But as soon as I began to look at my circumstances and take my eyes off of Jesus I began to sink! Love and prayers for you healing! I'm still getting my strength back but I'm back here praying behind the scenes over every request.

    Thanks Gigi

There is a problem with Jesus being God. Why?

If Jesus could be tempted it means he could have sinned.

    Can God be tempted?

Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man

But every man is tempted when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed

Then when lust has conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

    James 1:13-15

God cannot be tempted with evil. If Jesus is God how can he be tempted with evil? He would not be able to sin.

    Thanks for your time.
  • Chris - In Reply on Genesis 23 - 4 years ago
Hello Karen. That does seem like a strange word to give in prayer: "that God help us to sin less so Jesus won't suffer anymore." You'd have to clarify with the pastor as to what he meant by this, as he could be thinking in terms of "grieving the Holy Spirit" ( Ephesians 4:30). As the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God & of Jesus ( Romans 8:9), it is God Himself in us Who, by His Spirit, knows all that we go through in this life, whether in honour or dishonour of His Name.

We know there is much praise, exaltation & glorifying of the Lord God in Heaven continuously (Revelation chapter 4), but in that worship there would always be a consciousness of the folly of the wicked on Earth, or of those hearing the Gospel & maybe on the verge of submitting to God's Spirit, or even the child of God who strays away, whether wilfully or accidentally. God knows all things, for He is God, so I feel that in the exuberation of praise & worship in Heaven, there is also the solemness of the tragedies of fallen creation or when we succumb to Satan's taunts & lies instead of withstanding him with the Word of God.

I'm unsure whether this adequately answers your enquiry or even helpful, as each one would have perceptions of Heaven according to the understanding of the Word & the Light given to us. Some Christians believe in a very jovial lighthearted God on His Throne - I cannot perceive such characteristics of God, at least from the my reading of the Bible. But yes, God does require us to deal with sin ("sin less" as the pastor said); joy when there is victory & a true heart before the Throne, and grief when we fail Him. But you're right in stating that Jesus has once suffered for our sins - that agony, crucifixion, & death can happen no more.

    Thanks for letting us know

    We will be praying.

Some of us may want to consider setting funds aside for the RedCross so we can send it when needed, also consider donating blood, since there is a shortage. I look for blankets and warm clothing at second hand stores to donate to Union Gospel Mission at this time of year. But in a catastrophe these are things might be needed.

Just some thoughts, if these earthquakes become more frequent and powerful, there will be need of many physical rhings to help those affected. So maybe we prayerfully consider how we can become prepared to help the n the next " disaster".

You are right that Jesus had a full

Human nature, but never sinned. And he had a full divine nature, being the only begotten Son of God for all eternity. So both natures existed in Jesus to the totally full degree- to natures in one person. He was not part God and part human. He was fully God and fully human.

Karen Sue Your correct Jesus Christ suffered once for all time for mans sin, in fact in the old testament

it say he was beaten more than any man that ever lived so no matter what movie you've seen as an example

when he was put on the cross you did not want to look upon Him and I believe without almost getting

physically I'll. The enemy did everything he could to make Jesus sin or break fellowship and he never did.

In fact in hebrews 12:2 Who for the joy that was set before Him he knew the goal and did it ALL OUT OF THE

LOVE OF GOD WORKING IN CHRIST. When born again God sees us as His children because we endeavor to

believe and walk honestly before Him we are no longer fighting with out father we work on walking with Him

in harmony and alignment on His word and to boot all sin payed in full once and for all. That's the grace that

we do not want to buck against because that's like kicking God and His son in the face saying I don't care, then

we lose and so does God because he wants us to walk and be witnesses and more than conquerors through

His Son who Loved us and gave Himself for us.

I think when the Word speaks of Christ coming like a thief

It is referring to be a surprise to those who are not expecting Him to come and that His appearance will be sudden, happened nf very quickly. It won't be a slow descent or take a lot of time. So, all people will see It happen, but most of the world will be shocked, frightened, and aggrieved because they didn't believe in Him not that He would come again (or in their lifetime, if they thought He'd return.)

We are called to be ready and watchful. This goes mean that we are to continue in our faith in Him and know what the Wird says about His second coming. We are to be aware of the prophecies that speak to the end times and view world events through the lens of Scripture. May we al

Be found faithful and living for Christ all the days of our lives here.
