Oh no darren ! She wasnt abusive i promise ! Hahaha ! I wasnt looking for sympathy i promise ! She genuinely didnt belive in a 'devil' as such but belived that we had the choice to be obedient to God or disobedient and when we disobeyed Him we were the devil ,maybe im not explaining it properly but i promise she just didnt want me blaming some one else for my naughtiness ,when i was a child i knew a lot of adults who didnt belive in the devil as an external being who tempted us into sinning ,my grandad who had been a p.o.w. would say theres nothing so evil as people ,im inclined to agree but thats a different can of worms i dont feel like opening just now .

Oh and I just found out another video to help explain the whole River of Life thing. It's by the same people (BibleProject) on YouTube. Except the video is called "Water of Life" and they do a very good job explaining this.
  • Joel Metzger - In Reply on Psalms 89 - 4 years ago
Thanks for the tip! I downloaded YouVersion app then KJV with audio, works fine, hopefully audio feature is playing from download and not streaming from internet, takes to much data.

I have never heard of those Metzger names, earliest ancestors I am aware of in my lineage are a Phillip & Phoebe Metzger migrated to U.S.A. Marion county Ohio, from Baden-Baden, Germany around 1840.

    Thanks

The Tree of Life is mentioned in the book of Genesis along with The Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil ( Genesis 2:9). I found a great video that can explain more about this on YouTube it's titled 'Tree of Life' by the 'BibleProject'.

It's in English, but if you want subtitles are available in English which you can translate with something like Google Translate. If English is not your first language.

Now the River of Life I'm not sure about, but in the Garden of Eden it is mentioned that a river flowed out of the garden and split into four separate rivers. The first is named Pison which encircles the land of Havilah, where there is gold. The second named Gihon which is around the whole land of Ethiopia. The third is named Hiddekel which goes north to Assyria, and the fourth river is the Euphrates. ( Genesis 2:11-14). I hope this helps.

Dates back to the middle ages. Some say the elect will replace the angels, but who will replace the place of Satan in heaven?

It's great to have the anabaptist wing in the house. This is part of God's kingdom, but not what I'd want to be resurrected into if you know what I mean.

REBEKAH - SEEKING THE WILL OF GOD by Kelli Worrall, MBI prof 2021

As a college professor, one of the most common conversations I have with my students is about God's will. How does He reveal His leading to us? In Abraham's advanced years, his primary concern became a wife for Isaac. Only through Isaac's marriage and fatherhood would God's covenant continue, so Abraham gave his chief servant specific instructions on how to find the right woman.

When the servant came to Nahor, he stopped by a well with his ten camels, and in prayer, he devised a unique method for discovering God's will. He would administer a test. The servant would ask a girl for a drink, and if she offered to water his camels too, then she would be "the one." Before he had even finished praying, Rebekah arrived (v. 15). The servant noticed her beauty and immediately asked Rebekah for a drink. She offered one without hesitation. Then she offered to water his camels as well. Her jug was 3 gallons or so in capacity. Since a thirsty camel can drink 25-40 gallons, Rebekah had to fill her jug about 130 times! The servant could add "hard worker" and "servant spirit" to her qualities.

The servant watched her intently, praying for internal confirmation for his external observations. He clearly received the assurance he sought because, when Rebekah finished, he gave her costly gifts and asked about her family (vv. 22-23). Upon hearing that she was Abraham's close relative, the servant worshiped the Lord. The servant's visit with Rebekah's family served as further confirmation, as did Rebekah's willingness to go immediately-even when her family asked for ten more days together.

    >> The process of discerning God's will involves prayerful assessment of our circumstances and motivations. We should ask God to direct our thinking and help us walk in step with His Spirit. Sometimes He reveals His will through unusual events. But more often He opens and closes doors and His Spirit gives us discernment.

    Sacha,

That is awful, abuse. Your grandmother must have been in a lot of pain.

I have this theory about the cause of personal anguish: your memory. It reminds you of everything. Ever have a bad luck streak in sleeping. Toss and turn, sing the dumbest songs. Go to work crazy?
  • Cindy - In Reply on Psalms 138 - 4 years ago
This question is usually posed because it's hard for mere humans to understand that something exists without a beginning.

But the truth is, God was not born. God was not created. God always was, is, and always will be.

"He lives forever, whose name is holy" ( Isaiah 57:15)

Everything current will pass. God will create anew.

    Revelation 21:1-5

1And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. 2And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. 4And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. 5And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. 6And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

    Earl,

At the resurrection, we know about those dead in Christ, and about those who make it to the end, everyone is lifted up at the same time. I like the details of the saints below, do you know them?

    -Like these:

Revelation 6:9-11 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

-Who are their "fellow servants" also their brethren that were killed like they were?

    These:

Revelation 11:7-12 .........(12)"And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.

The 144,000 are the two candlesticks and the 2 olive trees that stand before God. They finished their testimony and are killed. They ascended to heaven in a cloud at the 7th trumpet to join Christ.

They were removed to control the masses through all religions including precepts. All religions is Evil Kingdom mimicking - Isaiah 24:4-5 In Ephesians 6:12 is another clue.

Everywhere you turn practically are religion place of images worship with is all abominations - Exodus 20

The Ten Commandments are not done away by no grace LIARS in those satanic witchcraft places taught that bs to control everyone PSYCHOLOGICALLY to keep people stupid in removing natural COMMON SENSE in questioning everything concernng their lies.

In the bible Our Creator stated through the prophets these religions fakes ARE NOT ORDAIN BY THEE AT ALL!!!

Q: Do you know why you hear about religion places being burned globally more frequently from the skies?

A: FOR LEADING THE INNOCENT MASSES ASTRAY AWAY FROM DIVINE ORDER FOR THOSE TRULY LOVING OUR ALMIGHTY CREATOR.

Watch Global News On YouTube & Not Mainstream They Block The Real Truth From The Public Globally.

Everyone need to aquire the oldest bible they can possibly through greatgrands, great aunts, great uncles, etc. There you will locate precepts.

The bible is a puzzle due to the deception of adding & removing words since the roman council nicea of 325 AD

The 2nd stick in Ezekel 37 v16 is the book of Mormn & there are 4 of them. These books with the KJV1611 of Apocrypha joins / explains the puzzle back together for all to get started.

In Daniel 12:4 Only A Few Were Released 2 Esdras 14:44 explains further that there are way more books & are being expose right now

Globally those seeking Our Creator - Matt 6:33 & Come Away From Babylon Religions - Rev 18:4-5 we have entered the beginning of the last days & headed into a new era called Age of Aquarius.

My explaination is THE TRUTH & Only If you Ask for Our Creator Of His Gift Of DISCERNMENT Then Clarity/Removal Of The Veil Will Come To You, The Purity Of Mind,Heart,Spirit.

In Acts 7, Our Father informs us we are the only TEMPLE Our Creator Resides or Ever Needed.

    Hello dear Christians!

We can see from this Chapter that there is a point where God withdraws his protection from a nation.

We can rest assured that if we follow the light of the world, Jesus Christ, that we ,through prayer, can utilize Divine protection in a time of need! I recall Psalm 18: 1-2. The Lord is our Rock, and are fortress and are deliverer.

Pray as much as you can in these last days. God bless you!

    Earl,

Explain to me in a paragraph exactly what you are saying about Revelation, heaven and earth? Above and below during the 6th-7th trumpets? What do we do if it starts to get bomby outside? Can you conceptualize your thoughts to what you personally envision, and share that? The only scripture you listed that supports your stance is John 18:36, but you are taking Jesus out of context; He is speaking about His current reality, he's restrained. The rest of the scriptures carry little weight to substantiate a claim.

    You claim this:

"no part of revelation is going to occur in the physical sense.

revelation is spiritual warfare for the kingdom of heaven.

    revelation is completely symbolic."

I always counted the 7th trumpet "saints" as those resurrected in Christ. The earthly army of a transfigured Jesus Christ in His bright glory taking over the earth. It doesn't seem symbolic for God to have to go to all these lengths to do exactly as he has written, but he does so to fulfill prophesy, on earth. Earl, I'm not persuading you to change your mind, I'm just glad to be talking to you.

Why would God promise David that he would never lack a king sitting on his throne till Christ comes if the earth isn't going to be rewarded, renewed. Jesus Christ has an earthly throne to come down to.

"Then I will establish the throne of thy kingdom upon Israel for ever, as I promised to David thy father, saying, There shall not fail thee a man upon the throne of Israel." 1 Kings 9:5

Without the 3 evil spirits, we can be born again, saints.

Looking forward to your rundown of this age.

"no part of revelation is going to occur in the physical sense.

revelation is spiritual warfare for the kingdom of heaven.

    revelation is completely symbolic."
