I read earlier a reader seemed to be offensive towards the sight, THIS IS A GREAT SIGHT for ministering to one another. racism is just one way the world is partial, it always have been and it want change. it gets its DNA from Satan. It's the darkness it resides in, and it expresses it without apology. a prideful heart has always caused division, this evil has been expressed from the beginning of man kind, It seems the person was attacking Christians in associating it with the the trouble here in America. Racism is not root of the problem we have here in America and any other nation, it is the result of a bigger problem that the world has had from the beginning. If a nation only had one race in its borders I supposed there will be no sin and God would have called off his redemption plan. Everyone had a natural birth which is tied to a specific geographic location where there is a heritage we hold to, and it being a part of Gods creation which groans to be delivered from the bondage of corruption Paul speaks of in Romans 8. Abraham called out of UR wasn't just leaving a land behind, it was a picture of being called out of the World. he pitched tents from then on looking for a land made without hands, so should we. (We are strangers and pilgrims. " 1 peter 2:11") ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him that called you out of darkness into his marvellous light. THANK YOU

Where in the Bible does it say our love for this corrupted world should be as if we are dead in the grave. Because this world and all that's in it is passing away, a new world will be replacing it. I have read the verse

For sure, but can't find it to prove that we, being as if we're DEAd in the grave, should

Perhaps give some serious thoughts of

Entertaining and/or participating in many activities which will be removed in the new world

  • S Spencer On the importance of the understanding of the true vine on Psalms 1 - 5 years ago
JOHN 15:1 Jesus says I am the "true" vine. When we think of a vine here's what we must consider; The vine sharing a common life source with the branches, The dependency of the branches on that vine, and the fact that the branches bare fruit, that's why they're there. Here is a few other verses using the idiom the vine. Psalms 80:8-9. "Israel called a vine brought out of Egypt". Isaiah 5:1-7. Jeremiah 2:21, "Israel called a degenerate vine". Hosea 10:1, "an empty vine". I believe this meant to contrast Israel mission as the vine, "HOWEVER there mission is not over" but i want to put our focus on the True vine and the difference between the two. Here is what's important and should'nt be overlooked, Israel was able to show the world then and now the Law which was holy even when executed could never change the heart of man. That's what the study of Hebrews is about. Especially Hebrews 10:16, the Lord says; I WILL PUT MY LAWS INTO THEIR HEARTS. This is where the ministry of Holy spirit comes in. without him we can do nothing, you are the branches, examine your fruit. it should be wrapped in Love, not outwardly first but inwardly then expressed outwardly. That's how the Lord is forming his church to shine light on a dark world, including our nation. No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier. 2 Tim.2:4. and this is the spirit that should reside in you now. it want be born in you later as some say. THANK YOU

I do not believe that biblically God used Satan to purify us. We have freedom of Will

The true God gives by love and belief in the truth the devil steals kills and destroys that is his only Goal. Look at jn 10:9+10 there you have the two opposites more abundant life Jesus Christ or steal kill destroy the adversary. remember God is all good and has no darkness in Him and is the Giver of all life also the last enemy to be destroyed is death a trait of the devil. Mans personal enemy

Will do anything to blame the true God for things he does not do and make no mistake out enemy knows the scripture but changes it to suit His benefit and He's really good at it.

Hi Alison from Mzansi. I believe you may both be slightly off course. Some Christians will go up in the Rapture while others will be left behind to go through the tribulation. Read Revelation 13 where it starts with the beast coming out of the sea. This takes place at the beginning of the tribulation. The overcoming Christians have already been raptured. Later in Rev 13vs7 the saints make war with the beast and the beast overcomes them. These saints missed the rapture because they have not overcome their carnal fleshly nature. Also in Rev 15vs2 they get victory over the beast and image and mark. Again this happens during the tribulation on earth (After rapture). So it is not either or but rather some will be raptured and some not. I will explain who goes in the rapture and who doesn't qualify if you respond to this reply.

Just to add. God is the head of everything. In Job 1:12 God allowed Satan to touch all Job's possessions but not to touch his body. And later in Job 2vs6. God allowed Satan to touch his body but not to kill him. Satan cannot do anything without God's command. Our lives is a picture of Job's life. We too will be tested to see how faithful we are to Jesus. God uses Satan to purify us. God will use our worst enemy to make us grow. Our nosy neighbour, horrible boss and even the tax man or government.

"Unicorn in the Hebrew means-reym-[a wild bull, to rise , be lifted up] and Candlestick means- menowrah-[chandelier, to shine, to glisten, lamp, candle, light] So I fail to see how unicorn is incorrect and what ever do you mean by supernaturally embedded. If the Bible was translated incorrectly then we are all doomed. This should be a lesson to us all to study the word correctly. Words in the Bible don't always mean what we think."

What does this have to do with God's Word, if people would rise up and believe and walk in love mankind wouldn't have problems but because people choose by freedom of Will not to believe we do. Mankind will never get together that's why we were given a Saviour

Adam I'm not here to agree or disagree with what people think but what the word says living creatures breath oxygen which is breath life which has nothing to do with spiritual life man was a 3 part being originally. Gen. 1:27 spirit and Gen. 2:7 body and soul.

Comments by Alex about Jacob and Esau, Twins but God loved one but hated the other They struggled in the womb . God told Rebpbaca they were 2 manner of ppl , one was of the flesh and 1 was of the spirit ,But Jacob wanted Esau birth right ,The flesh was symbolic of humanity but the spirit is symbolic of the H.G. a baby Christ ,Its Christ that wants to steal our birth right which was death . The Soul that sinneth shall surely DIE. Thats was our birth right DEATH,as the wages of sin is death ,But Jesus is saying we must be bornagain if we wanna live . Jesus took our sins by his blood that red pottage Remember Esau traded his birth right for that RED POTTAGE SYMBOLIC OF THE BLOOD OF CHRIST That he might live, Esau was at the point of death. But its Christ that steals our birth right which was DEATH BY HIS BLOOD. Thats y they say he will come as a thief in the night, Both Peter and Paul say this "A thief in the nite " but they describe this 2 nd coming as birth pains . She brought forth a manchild which is the H.G. Remember Jesus said unless ya drink my blood you will have no life in you ( that red pottage ) Thus Esau lived . In Adam we all die but in Christ a type of Jacob we will ALL live. But Issac caught on to their transaction and made Jacob Esau's lord,The 2 nd born which is the H.G IS GONNA BE OUR LORD. Just as Jacob stole Esau's birth right which was death ( the soul that sinneth shall surely die ) Christ will steal our old birth right which is death . I COME AS A THIEF IN THE NITE . REMEMBER JESUS SAID THE BRIDEGROOM WILL COME AT MIDNIGHT TO CATCH AWAY THE BRIDE . Thus we must be bornagain , Thats our new birth right as the spirit of life in CHRIST JESUS has free from the law of sin and death ( our new birth right ) is life by his blood ,that red pottage ,the blood of the lamb. The thing that is most important is both peter and paul describe this 2 nd coming as birth pains,When Isaiah saw the Kingdom coming he says unto us a child is born. Our birth right

If you confessed Jesus and accepted him into your heart according to Rom 10:9;10 then your qualify to spend eternity with Jesus. You are now saved from Death and Hell, but your heart hasn't been fully converted. God places in us a "small, pure Jesus heart" once we get saved but this is only the start of our journey and dare I say "struggles" This new heart must now grow and become more and more like Jesus everyday. We have to die daily ( 1 Cor 15:31) We must decrease and Jesus must Increase. ( Rom 8:5-8)( 2 Cor 3:3). We still have our old nature even though we are saved. It takes work to change into what Jesus wants us to be ( 2 Tim 3:16,17) It is almost normal to struggle with sin on a daily basis, even habitual sin but this is why Jesus died for us, We need to repent daily. Confess that sin daily. This is where many Christians miss the mark. We all believed that once we are saved then we are perfect immediately. Not so. You can in theory go into eternity with that habitual sin still in your heart. You will have to confess it then. ( 2 Tim 2:15 says "Study to show thyself approved unto God" Study takes work) . Read Gal 5:19, Mark 7:21. We all will struggle with sin until we die. It is just a question of how much we have laid down at the cross. Remember we must forgive 70 x 7. That includes ourselves. Our old heart must become like the new heart. Gal 5:19 must become Gal 5:22. But it takes time and lots of repentance. Hang on to your salvation, don't let Satan tell you you won't make it. Also read ( Rom 2: 29)

The signs of the end of the age as we know it is already happening now. ( Matt 24:3). The next thing that will happen is the revealing of the Antichrist-which is a physical person- and very soon after that the Rapture takes place( Matt 24:40-42)(1 Thes4:16;17). When this will take place no-one knows except God The Father (Not even Jesus). We are very close to this happening. But don't try and calculate when this will happen, concentrate on preparing yourself to be in the rapture, not all Christians qualify for the rapture, only those that have overcome the flesh and their carnal nature. Once the Antichrist takes over then the first half of the tribulation starts. This lasts 3.5 yrs ( Rev 5). The rapture is not the 2nd coming of Christ. The end of the age has been prophesied for over 2000 yrs but I think that we are fairly close. We shouldn't focus on when, when, when is the end but rather on staying close to Jesus now and let Him prepare us to be like him ( 2 Tim 3:16,17) We should always keep more than enough oil in our lamps as the 5 wise virgins did. Don't be concerned about the world. I know it's scary but there's nothing we can do about that, prepare yourself for Jesus. We are only in control of our own spiritual life, no-one else's. And of course, keep praying!

Food for thought many times in Gods Word man is described like beast of the field I.E. Goats because like stubborn animals He chooses not to follow God and acts like an animal. I.E. survival instincts which is not believing for God to supply his need.

look up orientalisms of the bible by bishop k.c. pillai many times Our saviour communicated Gods word by eastern thought so to understand that needs to be seen through their thinking. When jesus christ healed a blind man with his spit by mixing his saliva with dirt the man that he ministered too knew he was a Holy man and in their culture a holy mans spit has healing power. Once His fame was spread abroad that he Healed thousands came to Our Master and were heaied because they knew who he was and believed. In a crowd remember the woman who just touched is garment and believed and was healed instantly. Because she believed, whats really cool is we have not literally seen Jesus Christ and yet because we believe Gods Word we can have the same results!

    Good Morning,

Can anyone tell me what are the differences in comparing Matthews and Marks recording of the last Supper except for in Matthews Judas asking if he is the betrayer?

Other than that I believe the stories are the same but some of the wording is slightly different.
  • Anthony Charles Ritchie on 1 Samuel 16:23 - 5 years ago
I think God was showing saul that Good could still over come evil. The same as if He hadn't disobeyed God he could have been playing beautifully in the eyes of God as well. And Saul loved David at that time as he had once loved God who was good to him.
