I asked is there hell? or no hell?
Irene my email does not work so I just wanted to tell you I feel for you and will be praying for you! Hang in there and remember it is just as important that you have God on your side also just as much as all your Family! May God bless you!
So here I am reading Psalms 91 holding onto verse 1 because i know my God is so so so real I know where and what he brought me our of. I'm so grateful I could never deny his love and mercy because greater love than his no man has. I pray all would speak to him because he longs for a personal relationship with us as his children.
Now, there are plenty of fine believers that also hold to the other positions of Christ's Second Coming, also supporting their position with pertinent Scriptures. So we need to be open to the other's presentation, ask questions & follow through with research on what they share. The Lord bless you during your study & in your meeting.
his body goes to the grave, his soul goes to hell (sheol), and his spirit ascends upward to God. [ Ecc 3:21]. Each sinners death loosens another wicked spirit which increases the number of spirits that war against Christians. Ghosts are demons meant to "copy" the spirit of an unbeliever. A believer (saved sinner's) spirit can't return to earth. The body goes the grave and the spirit and soul returns to God.
In the Old Testament Dispensation, upon the death of a believer, his body went to the
grave, and his soul and spirit went to Paradise, also called death and Abraham's bosom. After the Blood of Jesus was applied to the Mercy Seat in Heaven, the spirit and soul of a believer could go directly into the presence of the LORD ( II Corinthians 5:8).
If "Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him", then how much more will be the sight of our loving Heavenly Father & of His Glory & of His Son, so consume our attention & devotion.
And this love must be genuine, looking to another's needs, even to the laying down our lives for another. And so 3:14, comes as a challenge to our hearts: we think that the love we have for God because of His Love for us is clear proof for our entrance to Heaven. Whereas we ought to consider that if that love for God is real, then that love has to be shown to one another, for therein is the final proof that this is indeed the love that God looks for: the real love for God that is in us, that is demonstrated to another as well. When this is apparent, then our release from eternal death to eternal life is proven. A lot like Faith & Works: Faith does indeed save us, but if there's no proof of that faith (by works), is that faith genuine?
For if we love not our brother then our love is not genuine towards God & we need to be examining what has taken place in our hearts that has caused this spiritual & mental anomaly. As John said in 4:20, "If a man say, I love God, and hateth (despises, disregards or holds in lower esteem) his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?" This comes as a great challenge to all of us - particularly that we don't harden our hearts when there are those in the Church & around us in such great need.
AMEN
As they put the book and chapter next to your name. 1 Timothy 2:9
In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;
