Have you all never experienced the love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ? You sound so full of hurt and betrayal. I know it all too well. The loneliness, the years of loneliness. But, never give up on love. Faith, hope, and love in the Spirit of God not young

Yes you can be forgiven, all have sinned and come short of the lord's glory. We serve a god of forgiveness, lift your head and move forward in the things of God. You're loved and you're forgiven Donna.

I have decided to start studying the New Testament, as a former war veteran, I find the Old Testament to be to mentally stressful. In fact my Mental Health Councilor recommended that it would bring more joy, and peace to my old mind from the past . As I have already walked down those evil roads 54 years ago.

Chris-thank you for your reply. It is comforting to know that a total stranger cares of my hurt and emptiness. It has been a very long and very hard almost 13 months without my Patty. I have prayed for God to please take me so I can have some peace, so I can see my Patty again, but He insists that I continue living at least for a while longer. Yes, heaven is all about Jesus and His salvation and sacrifice for sinners like me. I just wish I knew what type relationship my Patty and I will have in heaven. Thank you and God bless you.

2cd Edras 6;54 And after these, Adam also whom thou madest lord of all thy creatures, of him come wee all, and the people also whom thou hast chosen.

55All this haue I spoken before thee, O Lord, because thou madest the world for our sakes.

56As for the other people which also come of Adam, thou hast said that they are nothing, but be like vnto spittle, and hast likened the abundance of them vnto a drop that falleth from a vessell.

    Can someone break this down?

Even IF there was a dual/parallel creation by God, Genesis chapter 6 declares that God would "destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them". Genesis 6:7. "But Noah found grace in the Eyes of the LORD".

So IF all the "creations" of God were destroyed by the flood, bar the "eight souls" ( 1 Peter 3:20), & I'm a Gentile (a part of the first creation & not of Adam's line) & therefore not in the line of Adam - Noah - Abraham - David - Jesus, then in fact, I don't exist.

And IF God's Judgement by the flood was restricted only to Adam's progeny because of their "wickedness being great", then why overlook those "Gentiles" who would also have been wicked because of their sin & not include them in the worldwide destruction - or maybe they were sinless & needed no judgement as we're not told that sin was in them nor passed onto them? Then this might give some added weight to our 'sinless perfection' brethren's argument, sans their need of Christ. The mind starts to boggle indeed. Or, maybe there's a link that I've missed.

I thank you for your response! It is amazing when you read Jude, John III and John II. They warn about deception and people coming into the church and saying a whole lot of nothing. And denying the complete fullness of Christ. You see that today as well. Preachers on TV saying a whole lot of nothing. I think the people are more ignorant leaving the show pertaining to Biblical matters then when they did before they sat down to watch it. I recently was alerted by a friend to view a YOUTUBE clip where Kenneth Copeland said God was the biggest failure in the Bible. I cannot believe for a second anyone would attend his church. How can you say such a thing? You should check it out. No wonder Christianity is on the decline in America. Have a good day.

Jesus was saying to Paul, about not being able to resist the truth, that it was Jesus who knocked him off his horse, and is Lord, calling to him; And that he must go forth in obedience with the truth of Jesus.

The pricks are the evidences of truth.

I've been asking for clarity for my prayers being answered. I will ask the Lord for answers in many different prayers and all I have back is confusion on whether it is him giving me the right answer or the devil deceiving me. I request prayer do you know the Lord's will in guidance without any confusion in my prayers or answers to my prayers.

When I pray to God for his will and answer. It seems like I am so confused on what might be him telling me to do or if it could be something else bad trying to convince me that it is gods answer. How do I know which is his true answer?

The first verse that comes to mind in light of interpreting Scripture with Scripture is Matthew 10:16 Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.

To me taken in context this verse was, is, and will be highly condemnatory on the day of Judgement; the Great White Throne Judgement that is.

It speaks to the fickle nature of man an God's willingness to go to every length possible both imaginable and unfathomable to offer His great mercy and forgiveness, all without violating His Holiness and character.

    just my 2 cents =)

A great question by the way!

  • Adam - In Reply on Matthew 12 - 5 years ago
Hello, just to be clear that verse says "BUT" blasphemy of the holy spirit won't be forgiven.

It sounds like you've taken the right steps and I'd be careful in trusting your feelings. Feelings can be indicators, but they can also stem from misinterpreted information, false assumptions, or even lies. Example: someone was angry that someone harmed his daughter and took vengeance out on someone, because of his feelings. He deeply hated that person and rationalized it as doing 'God's work' by ending his life. Unfortunately, he had the wrong person, so he killed an innocent man. Someone who kills is a murderer. He followed his feelings.

A woman had an abortion then had deep regret. She couldn't forgive herself because her deep feelings of guilt. She somehow believe Jesus died on the cross for everyone else in the world, except for her. She somehow thought that not forgiving herself and punishing herself would be some kind of penance for what she did, but instead it only led to her neglecting herself, her kids, her family, her friends, and God. Feelings. We need to love ourselves in order to love others. It's the 2nd greatest commandment in the Bible! If we don't forgive ourselves how can we love others. We have a responsibility to do our part.

God is love. If God can even forgive murderers in the Bible and choose them for his most important work like Paul, Moses, David, etc, then God can forgive anybody of anything and has (except blasphemy of holy spirit), even if part of you doesn't feel worthy and doesn't totally believe it. Deeply ask yourself why you don't believe you should forgive yourself. Why isn't Jesus dying on the cross for you to pay for your sin enough for you? Get to the root of your beliefs by asking repeated specific questions and how you came to believe what you believe. If we shine a bright spotlight on ourselves sometimes we expose irrational beliefs or something untrue.

Hope part of this is helpful. God bless you...

In Acts chapter 2 the day the New Testament Church began, on the day of Pentecost, they were baptized in the name of Jesus, then in act chapter 8 the Samaritans were baptized in the name of Jesus, then in Acts chapter 10 the Gentiles were baptized in the name of Jesus, then in act chapter 19 Paul said to the Ephesians that were the followers of John the Baptist ask them if they received the Holy Ghost since they believed and they end up receiving the Holy Ghost with speaking in tongues just like and Acts chapter 2 and Acts chapter 10 and they were re baptized in the name of Jesus, my question is why do most of the churches when they baptize you they use the titles Father Son and Holy Ghost and not the name Jesus, Father Son and Holy Ghost are not names, Hebrews 1 and 4 said that he inherited his name he inherits his name from his father which was Kept Secret in the Old Testament but revealed in the New Testament?

Matthew chap 12 vs 31-32 say all manner of sin and blasphemy will be forgiven, over a year ago I came back to Jesus and the church after having been away for a very long time, I have repented and turn away from the life I was living. Now I confessed my sins and I know Jesus died on the cross for all my sins. But it is different this time I don't feel forgiven like the last time. I guess what i want to know am I still saved even though i feel Jesus won't forgive me this time because I don't think he should forgive me. I know it how it sounds, but this is a very scary place to be because I do believe and always did. But all I ever hear from pastors and people are how once they came to Jesus they never looked back. What about all the people like me who knew wrong and did it anyway. then something makes us come back to our senses and we return to God. Are we still forgiven if we don't forgive ourselves?

There is a witch coven where I live (in the floor above) and these people already killed 5 people in my family! That's why the Bible The Holy Word of God decrees; "You shall not allow a witch to live." Exodus 22:18. These witches are on a seek and destroy mission.

  • Laura A Ortiz on Revelation 12 - 5 years ago
Good morning, thanks be, to GOD! My son Joshua, and our family have been going through a lot regarding our granddaughter Iridessa, who just turned 10, and we have to appear in court tomorrow because they want to remove all of the 5 children from her mother. We have been going through so much with Iridessa's mother. Please, I ask for prayers that the courts finally see that she, Iridessa must come home, where she is longing to be! I ask that Melissa, her mother gets the help she desperately needs! I ask this in Jesus Holy name, who is my only counselor, who is the only one I have given this all to since it all began. A little extra prayer, wouldn't hurt, only exalt our cries for help and a resolution for our baby girl and my son!! God Bless you All! Thank you, Roberto, Laura, Joshua Ortiz
