Genesis 1:1
The Father purposes
The Word (Jesus) speaks. ( John 1:1)
The Spirit (Holy Spirit) executes the spoken word. Action.
May I suggest you scribble those down on the back pages of your Bible? It comes up a lot.
There may be more...
There are numerous scriptures on death of a child; or even a child that dies in the womb.
Your child awaits you in heaven. You have to be born again for the right reasons, ok? Our desire must be to belong to Jesus eternally.
You can live the rest of your life with joyful expectation of the day you meet your Lord and Savior....holding your sons hand in his.
Rejoice. Ecclesiastes 3
I lost a child too. Mishael
"...Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved..." Acts 16:31
"Yet to all who receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God." John 1:12
"Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." Acts 2:38
"I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance" Luke 5:32
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1:9
There's a link on the red page: "Become A Christian", that explains the whole process.
For me: Jesus submitted to be baptized in water by John the Baptist. He was fulfilling a prophesy.
Baptism is simply us following Jesus as his disciple in a simple act of obedience.
It never occurred to me to dispute water baptism. It truly was desiring to leave my old life and rise up in the new life.
Receive the Holy Spirit.
There's a link on the red page that says: Become A Christian, that is useful to understand the whole process
He is the 2nd person of the Godhead, Romans chapter 1. Father, Son, Holy Spirit
John chapter 1
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
The Woman clothed with the sun is most likely the 144,000 sealed for one thousand two hundred sixty days against antichrist.
"beginning" is a verb.
verb
gerund or present participle: beginning
1. start; perform or undergo the first part of (an action or activity).
"it was beginning to snow"
I'd bet antichrist builds the 3rd temple in 3 days.
Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
Comment: I've never noticed that exclamation point at the end. Like wow. I always highlight the "woe" scriptures. It involves serious pain to those who rebel against it. Mishael
Try typing WOE in the search box and hit the arrow. It's really enlightening.
Original/sumerian text meaning of *word*
Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. This means that you Believe and confess that you believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that Jesus died on the cross, shed his own blood for the forgiveness of our sins, always and forever.
While hanging on the cross, Jesus said "It it finished". He was saying this has been done for you. so that you may have eternal life with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit in Heaven. Water doesnt save, but Jesus blood has and did.
thanks and God bless.
The more our flesh dies to the TRUTH OF GOD'S WORD, the FEWER THE BATTLES.
Colossians 3:3 For ye are DEAD, and YOUR LIFE is hid WITH Christ IN God.
John 11:25 ....I am the RESURRECTION, and THE LIFE: he that believeth in me, though he were DEAD, yet shall he LIVE:
1 John 3:9 Whosoever (is DEAD and) is born of God doeth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he CANNOT sin (because he is DEAD and the only LIFE there is Lives) (Christ in you), because he is BORN OF GOD.
We are dead, we are the Body of Christ.
All these words of knowledge sets us FREE.
Everything that is happening in you life is the WORKS OF CHRIST.
When this truth becomes reality to you; you cannot sin.
Philippians 2:13 For it is God that WORKETH in you BOTH to will and do of his good pleasure.
God will have won the battle.
You have been CREATED in his image. HIS LIFE in you.
Of twain one new man.
Jesus said he can do nothing but by the Father; because the Fathers LIFE is his LIFE.
We can do nothing without Christ because his LIFE is our LIFE.
Now look for the current colapse of world of Devil as a whole dominated and ruled by the main Enemy of GOD, where billlions of souls will perish without GOD and withoust salvation for ever, according 2 Peter 3:v.7 and 11 to 13, as follow:
7 - But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, 12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? 13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
Let's get ready, for yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.
A good reminder of how to reflect whose we are.
A couple of things that come to mind, & are certainly implied in your comments: the Work of Salvation is primarily a personal encounter & 'contractual arrangement' between God & the convicted sinner. No other person(s) can even enter into it nor can make an unequivocal judgement on the condition of another's soul. We can note a person's act of repentance, water baptism, a testimony by word or manner of life & even enthusiasm in spiritual matters, but can any other person truly know the state of another's heart before the Lord? Only God knows, for He alone can save & seal. And that believer would know, for he would be aware of all that took place in Him bringing him to salvation & the Work of the Spirit in him. And yet, as Christians, we must readily accept all those who profess Christ as part of God's family & treat them accordingly, without allowing suspicion to rule our thoughts. And I believe that the apostles Paul, Peter, & others, like us, had no extra enabling to judge otherwise.
Hence, we see their epistles filled with encouragements, directions & warnings against turning away or departing from the Truths the believers learned. Were these warnings given to prevent true believers becoming apostate & forever lost into the world, or to warn them from being seduced by false teachers & the attractions of the world, to keep them disciplined & growing in faith, thus preventing God's discipline coming upon them; & that discipline can come as a gentle reminder or to much severe consequences, even to the removal of that life. And to the masqueraders within the Church, that they may be exposed.
We have people like that in our churches today. They're acting the part and they look like believers, but they are not saved. Some even leave the fellowship and denounce the whole thing, and people will say "See, they lost their salvation."
No, they were never saved to begin with or they wouldn't have left, and we see that in 1st John chapter 2, verse 19.
Jesus said in John chapter 10 my sheep hear my voice and I know them and they will never perish.
So who are His sheep? That would be you and I and every other person who has been born of God's Spirit. We belong to Him. We are His sheep. He knows us now.
So with that in mind, if I am saved and He knows me now, how could He tell me one day to depart and that He never knew me? That would not make sense at all.
We often say that we know the Lord, but what's more important is that He knows us. And if He knows us now, He will never tell us that He never knew us!
Adam is right! I seriously thought my life was over years ago and I did exactly what he said!! I took a ride and talked to the Lord, My life started over with new passions!! There's still warfare but I have peace in those battles.
What I thought was the end turned out to be the best thing ever happened to me.
Let us help you.
God bless.
The notion once saved always saved is not the same as saying a Christian can sin all he wants to. A Person who wants to sin and have habitual sin in his life and claims he's a Christian because he or she "professed" they are Christian is a hypocrite, They never was known of the Lord as said in
Matthew 7:22-23. (KJV) Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
They done many works that went up in smoke, And the Lord didn't say they Lost their Salvation, HE SAID I "NEVER" KNEW YOU.
I suppose there's several issues here,
Some has denounced the faith and some is deceived, and that deception can come for several different reasons, One is by falling from grace by adding something to the finish work on the cross,
Some is led away by the flesh by great speakers and great presentation, Well versed individuals but lacking spiritual fruit. Prosperity preaching ect.. This is why Paul came with plain speech, He shined his light on the Lord. Christians or so called Christians today wants to broaden the way.
