God knew us, his children before we were born. And even the number of hairs on your head. God made sure that we were in a place to be accepted and counted as one of his sheep. God love is eternity. Comments on Matthew 10

Amen! God predestined those who will be saved and many saints who have been led astray by false pastors were removed from their influence during this pandemic; being given another chance to seek Him through His only BEGOTTEN Son Jesus the Christ, Immanuel.

does 'he that findeth his life shall lose it' mean ; if a person lives only for himself, believing all his life is by the power of his own hands, and never gives God a thought or glorifies Him: who will turn in others to save himself; who will take the mark of the beast to preserve his mortal life? just need clarification on this. If Catholics knew who the Father was I would have stayed on board. (Since most of us here in the US has that family background, which was changed in Massachusetts many years ago from being a Prodestant nation. But after denouncing the Catholic church and studying the King James Holy Bible, I discovered all the things the Catholic church practices is not biblical in fact everything they do goes against scripture.

    Here's just the first one.....

    Matthew 23:9

"And call nomanyour father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven."

    King James Version (KJV)

    On ROMANS 12:2

The Word of God is God ( John 1:1) and is not of any private interpretation ( 2 Peter 1:20).

The word 'Repent' in different forms (repent, repentance, repented, repentest, repenteth, repenting, repentings) is mentioned 110 times in the KJV, and means a lot more than what people by nature have been conditioned to believe. The word 'repent' used in the New Testament was translated from the Greek word "metanoeo", and means to change, transform, to think differently or reconsider.

It is the key principle of all the teachings of Jesus Christ and the axiom (basis) of the Word of God and a prerequisite and primary requirement for the salvation of mankind. It actually means the changing of spirits - to turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God ( Acts 26:18).

For a better understanding and the 'spiritual truth' of what it means to repent, and learn how and by whom mankind has been deceived ( Rev. 12:9) and what people must do to be reunited with the true and living God, we invite you to seek Him according to the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive ( Matthew 7:7; John 14:17).

You need not that any man teach you ( Isaiah 54:13; 6:45; 1 John 2:27), as mankind follows after an image of a false god and a false Christ ( Matthew 24:24; Mark 13:22; Gal. 4:8; 2 Cor. 11:13-15; Rev. 12:9).

It is only by revelation of God that people will come to know the true Christ ( Daniel 12:4,9; Amos 3:7; Matthew 16:17; Luke 2:26; Romans 16:25; 1 Cor. 2:10; Gal. 1:16; Eph. 3:3,5; Rev. 1:1), and only then will you be able to overcome the spirit of this world ( 1 John 5:4; Rev. 3:21) and learn what 'True Repentance' means, and how this whole world has been deceived ( Rev. 12:9). It should also be remembered that it is a narrow way that leadeth unto 'Life', and few there be that find it ( Matthew 7:14).

LUKE 15:10. LIKEWISE, I SAY UNTO YOU, THERE IS JOY IN THE PRESENCE OF THE ANGELS OF GOD OVER ONE SINNER THAT REPENTETH

Why do you think christ performed so many miracles on the sabbath? jesus christ is more than the sabbath.

galatians 4:10,11. ye observe days and months, and times, and years. i am afraid of you, lest i have bestowed on you labour in vain.

matthew 7:7. seek, and ye shall find.
  • Chris - In Reply on John 1 - 5 years ago
"such & such" could be translated as "other things that you could have desired".

You may remember that in the previous chapter, David did an abominable thing by committing adultery & murder. God sent Nathan the prophet to David to remind him of the evil that he had done (through a story of a rich man taking a lamb from a poor man to feed a visitor of his). The object of that story was that David was like that wicked heartless rich man by doing what he did to Uriah & his wife Bathsheba. So 12:8 is part of the word against David, that he could have had anything he wanted (= such & such), but he chose wickedly by doing what he did to that husband & wife.

It is referred to as self-righteousness ( Romans 10:3) and the unbelievers are referred to as 'goats' ( Matthew 25:32).

Noah didn't have to treed water. He gave him a boat. :)

I am starting to think advertising is the strong deception. "this is not a gambling site. please play responsibly" seen on tv.

meal replacements have at the least 80grams of sugar, but you will not find sugar listed on the label. I know medical professionals have three or four during a busy shift. no wonder they can't move once they get home.

it may not be a strong deception, but it sure must rate somewhere close.

How beautiful our lord jesus is, what a touching account of his love to rise from the dead and still yet return to his loved ones to teach, explain, and expound the scriptures to them.

glorious, excellent, magnificent, most holy, most high god.

so lovely, so loving, so kind, so compassionate.

this alone is proof of your majesty jesus, that the whole world celebrates your birth and your resurrection year after year for centuries and for eternity regardless of their faith or belief.

only the hand of god could have done this!!!!!!

    1-52 above Jesus mind is on SALVATION for you & I (see John 3:16-21 and similar verses to learn of SALVATION);

Note: notice the HEART OF JESUS is very concern with those SAVED being VERY KEENLY aware of the many signs given in 1-52.

Note: We should LEARN and KNOW at least 1 of the signs in 1-52 because...see 44 above.

Note: 33 So likewise ye, when ye shall SEE ALL THESE THINGS, know that it is near, even at the doors. 34 Verily I say unto you, THIS GENERATION shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. 35

Protestants do not believe in the true presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. but this gift from Jesus has been perpetuated thru the Mass from the very beginning of the Church when Jesus instituted it at the last supper. "This is my Body" "This is my blood" no room for wiggle nor symbolism. Up unto the protestant revolution, there was only the Catholic/Christian Church and Christians believed that Jesus was substantially in the bread and wine after the consecration. Even Paul chastised people for eating and drinking the Lord unworthily and will be held guilty of profaning the body and blood of Jesus. He wouldn't say that if it was just symbolic. Check out "Eucharistic Miracles" via Google. What more intimate union could Jesus leave us than to leave His flesh and blood to nourish ourselves with for the journey home? He is God's "manna". In a backhanded compliment, why do you think satanists in their black Mass use a consecrated Catholic Host to perform their blasphemies. Why do you think it was mandatory that the Jews eat the lamb to complete the Pascal/Passover meal. It was a premonition of what Jesus was going to do at the Last Supper.

Soon, very soon, Jesus is going to have a "one on one" with everyone in the world about the state of their soul as He sees it (See the book "The Warning" by former atheist Christine Watkins). He will also make everyone aware that He is God and that the Catholic Church is the church that He founded and wants people to belong to because it is the surest route to Heaven via His grace giving sacraments.

So, yes, if you are not Catholic, you are not "technically" fulfilling this command of Jesus. So, come aboard. We have plenty of room for sinners wanting to become saints.
  • Chris - In Reply on 1 Thessalonians 4 - 5 years ago
Rick, you said, & I quote: "Why would God do what you suggest? He protected His people crossing the Red Sea. He protected Daniel while in the lions' den. Shaderach, Meshach, and Abednigoh "spelling" while IN the furnace. And throughout scripture we see His hand of protection while people go through adversity."

I believe that what most people are missing out on here (or, avoiding), is the difference between God's PROTECTION of His people & God's REMOVAL of His people. There are clear instances of both types of dealings by God with His own. You have correctly suggested examples of God's protection (viz. the Red Sea crossing & the lions' den) & we have examples of God NOT protecting His people from harm, eg. Stephen's execution, the martyrdom of so many, including the apostles of Christ, etc.

How about when God intervenes to remove His people from a situation? True, we all experience adversity in various degrees & we do prove the Lord faithful, but adversity & afflictions come to us (e.g. the present pandemic) because we are sinners living in a sinful world & reaping its unavoidable fruit. But do we see a difference in Scripture when God intervenes, not to keep us during our trials, but to remove us from them? And we see this clearly when God's Action comes upon the world as a result of His great Anger & not the result of living in a corrupt body in a corrupt world.

So when we see God's Wrath turning upon mankind, don't we always see His subsequent removal of those who are His? We can refer to the Flood & Sodom & Gomorrah as examples. Is not the Great Tribulation to come likewise a demonstration of God's Wrath upon a sinful, Christ-rejecting world? Are those who have been purchased by the blood of the Lamb & received propitiation from their sins & brought into the family of God, still subject to God's Anger upon the World? If so, why? Is this the Character of God we read of in His Word? For your thoughts.

3 months ago, RC Lewis on Revelation 8:1 wrote....."The silence comes before a great storm the power of silence is everywhere and most of all the power of GOD is everywhere so the half hour is not much time to God as we know a thousand years are as one day. I believe a half hour of silence is the minimum needed to get people to slow down focus and listen prepare for what is about to happen. God does not order or command he lets us use our free will to stop listen and respond with respect"

    Great insight RC...

MY THOUGHTS .... 1/Mathematically: using this measure half an hour would approximate 20.8 years but more likely a last period to reflect and "Choose Ye this day who ye follow".

2/ Therefore: Could the recent lockdowns be part of this quiet time where sides are being galvanised and lines drawn. Where believers are finally taking time to study the word and those seeing the signs of the times are Searching and finding The Word. May all find the truth that For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life., That Jesus led a blameless life, was handed over to his enemies, was scourged and nailed to the cross, to die for our sins that we may be washed in His Blood, and be buried for 3 days and 3 nights as stated in the scriptures. To rise again and to ascend into heaven and sit at the right side of The Father. . God Bless You all. The time approaches, Look up and keep your eye on Jesus called Yeshua(salvation) in Hebrew.

Cheryl, boom! I agree with you 99%

When this all started I remembered the scripture

    1 Timothy 2:1-2

    1 Peter 2:13-17

But my personal conviction is not to wear the masks. I keep my distance as that is my personal way anyway but I have ministered to, touched hugged strangers, including unbathed homeless, in these days.

    2 Corinthian 3:14-18

    Romans 1:17

I have had to face much opposition but I have to obey my LORD & follow HIM.

Thank you for the additional scripture!

    Hebrews 10:23-25

    Isaiah 5:20-21

I know just how you feel my friend! I do know that one verse in the Bible has always had a really big meaning to me and that is John 3:16 which really says all of it and it goes For God so loved the world he gave his only Son that who so ever believes in him shall not perish but have every lasting life. I was doing this from memory and I am getting really old so I might have missed a word or two and I also believe that there is a lot more to but I also know that I believe every word in the Bible so that is what it says. I would find someone to guide you in the ways of the Lord Jesus and make sure they are not adding to or taking away anything and do not just take people's opinions either only what the Bible says! I am going to pray for you now! One thing I will never do is add to or take away any thing from the Bible. Only if I made a mistake will that happen! Good luck and Gods speed my friend!
