I've recently woken up and seen some of what is truly going on around us,I'm sure I'm just now beginning to scratch the surface of things that I need to know and need to understand,but I'm doing my research everyday all day long and I share as much as I possibly can with people "where it allows me to that is "and I'll continue to do that! I don't want it to seem like I'm trying to make up ANY EXCUSES for myself not understanding the bible. But I am a 31 year old who has been on medication for my ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder ) & ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder ) since before I was in Kindergarten. I don't understand things very easily or clearly no matter how simple it is, it may be easy to you or someone else though. So please don't think I don't want to understand it or don't think I haven't tried. But I'm trying to get in a group of godly people,I want to live for Jesus and help fight this war "If that's what you'd call it". I don't know if this will get so bad that we'll need a underground bunker to stay in to be able to survive in this world or not for a while. But I don't have that kind of money or that kind of connections or friends that I can turn to if things gets bad,its just my husband and myself and us believing in Jesus and having him walk beside us. But I need guidance, I need knowledge, and understanding and support on how and what to do,not just this second or the next few days or weeks. I'm talking about until whenever the end of all this is, not only to help guide myself and my husband but for us to be there in a mass gathering of God's people and to help protect one another and help other people in any way that I can an have them as my family and be by there side through this just as they'd be there to be by my side through this . I'm not trying to join or form a group of people,im just trying to join or form a group that's the right group,the group that stands up for God and fights to protect each others life and follow Jesus!

When did Jesus say the dead in Christ would be resurrected?

John 6:39-40: Jesus said, "This is the will of Him who sent Me, that of all that He has given Me I lose nothing, but raise it up ON THE LAST DAY.

John 6:44: Jesus said, "No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up ON THE LAST DAY."

Is the LAST DAY the thousand year reign of Christ?

I believe so....then it is eternity and time is counted no more

So if Jesus himself said the dead in Christ will be raised on the LAST DAY, and Paul said we who are alive and remain will not be caught up (raptured) until AFTER the dead are raised, then where does secret pre-trib rapture fit in?

Paul in 1 Corinthians 15:52 - In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

We are changed at the LAST TRUMP and where is this found?

In REVELATION, the LAST BOOK of the Bible there are 7 trumps and the 7th trump is the LAST ONE and is at the end of the tribulation. there is not a 7th last trump prior to the tribulation.

This comment is a false interpretation. What's ironic is the very chapter that's being critiqued predicted this sentiment in verses 20-25. Those with a closed and darkened heart won't comprehend it.

I pray that you are doing well. After reading your post, I realized just how important it really is for us to have faith in God as our protector, just as He is our Creator. Have faith. The shootings you hear are most likely a result of violence, and as long as you are not involved you are not a target. Also, it is best they do not ever see you look in their direction. Don't try to see where it is coming from, or who is shooting. If it is in fact a murder taking place, if they see you see them, it is likely you will then be shot as a result of witnessing them commit murder. Pray, and always have trust and faith in God that He is your protector and provider of all things needed. :)

You can find many scripture of wisdom in Proverbs and Psalms.

Actually the Bible was somewhat downsized. Not all Books were canonized into it.

Romans is one of my favorites. I like that dilemma Paul was having in chapter 7: the "I" chapter. I used to know how many times he said it. You count for me.

Jesus surrendered his power when he came to Earth as the Son of Man. He did miracles by the power God.

Jesus had not released the Holy Spirit on earth till after he had returned to Heaven.

I suggest DATING. That is when you really get to know what that person likes; what they do with their time; money; how they honor their parents;

Do they own a Bible? Do you see them read it? If you say we need to conserve moneydo they do it? Has any of her ex's stalked her; threatened her?

You need to date till you've answered many of these questions.

That America/United States is called in prophesy: Islands in the Sea. That's because the continents are surrounded by water. Also, Britain, Scotland, Australia and others.

America because of Church and State mostly being kept separate thereby allowing citizenship separate from baptism has been a resting place for the Bride for times. The beautiful time and place where children could be raised to understand the call of the Lord in due time to His repentance and peace and then be properly baptized into the Bride. It seems that the wait for the return for the Lord has become to lengthy for many professing Christians. Non- resistance teachings have been buried in the coming together of Church and State in politics and then the promoting a future reign of Christ on earth instead of an in earth reign of Christ, which is now. The Bride will only keep herself unto Him in faithfulness no matter the world events natural or man-made.

Sometimes in today's world I become afraid that I won't be able to make it through the ugliness . Is the tribulation happening now? Will Christians have to endure the first 3 1/2 years or is Jesus coming before or after ?

My brother's and sister's in Christ, I have been in a spiritual warfare with temptation and finances. I have surrounded myself around the wrong people and I have lost sight. I am a 31 year old child of God and it seems as though the battle has weighed in on me. I ask for my prayer warriors to keep me uplifted in prayer to get through this. I am a homosexual and I have been falsely diagnosed with a disease and I am trying to find the answers to move forward with my life. Hi Chris - Really appreciate your response. If I'd only clicked on the link below the photo in the Wiki article in the first place, it would have led me to the source. It appears the passage in question originates from the 1609 old testament translation of the Latin Vulgate into English by scholars at the Catholic Seminary English College in Douai, France. The Latin Vulgate version was commissioned by Pope Damasus in 382 and a direct translation from the Hebrew Tanakh. Thus, the book of Ecclesiasticus from which the Saint Mary Cathedral quote sprang is much closer to the text in the Hebrew bible. If one compares the King James version of the bible with the Douay-Rheims edition, it can be quite revelatory. Again, thank you for your informative reply.

Me and my family have health problems and we are going through a lot! I hurt from head to toe 24/7 for 11 years and counting and it feels like I'm being killed 24/7! My future wife was in a car wreck 1 year ago and she has bad pain from that and she's a CNA and her job is making her hurt worse! She also has problems with her blood sugar! My mom is a type 2 diabetic! And mom has high blood pressure and she has bad pain in her body! Dad is borderline diabetic! He has bathroom problems! Dad has bad pain in his body! I lost my job and I'm having to look for another job and I have been angry for a long time now and I need to get rid of this anger! I have believed and had faith in God since I was 10 years old! When a person disrespects me or smarts off to me or says something the wrong way I hold that on the inside and I keep that anger on the inside until I can't stand it anymore then I lash out at the person that done that to me verbally! My aunt has stomach cancer! And there are people on my future wife's side of the family that's going through a lot of things too! My future wife's mom and dad aren't doing good at all her mom has dementia! And I'm not sure what's with her dad but he isn't doing good the last I heard they wasn't expecting him to make it! My grandmother needs prayer too she isn't doing good! And my side of the family goes to church but then lies about money when some of the family needs help! My aunt Kathy who co owns a restaurant! My uncle Dwight who makes $25 an hour! And my uncle Alan who makes $17 an hour! I told them going to church and then lying about money isn't any good at all! I need another job! My wife needs a new job! Me and my future wife have been through hell when it comes to relationships so we both have fears that we need help with! Ask God to help us get rid of those fears and to talk to each other in the right way when we get aggravated about something! Ask God to help us to not cuss when we get aggravated! To Ted Duke on Acts 12:4. Herod placed Peter in chains until after Easter, because Herod had to give homage to the queen of heaven , or rather goddess of fertility during "Easter". With that said, I pray you'll do your research Ted Duke where you'll find the true meaning behind the Easter celebration. It has nothing to do with the resurrection of our Lord and Savior. Those Easter eggs and rabbits are in honor of the goddess of fertility Ted. Much of Christianity has been "hood winked" by practicing Easter with its pagan practices.

Phil, I had to do a little research on that. The best I could come up with is that the verse you've given is found in the Sirach chapter 4 in the Douay-Rheims 1899 American Edition (DRA).

However, this Book Sirach has also been identified with the Apocryphal Book, Ecclesiasticus, the Wisdom of Sirach. But when I looked for this verse in Ecclesiasticus, there was nothing, so my guess that the verse in question only appears in certain 'publications' (e.g. Douay-Rheims) & those that the RCs subscribe to.

I personally believe the virus is real, but that there's a gross overreaction. It's a disproportionate reaction to the threat. Other communicable diseases that killed more in the past were mostly ignored by the media in comparison to this. They were also ignored by governors. I think there are political reasons for the media to play it up so much and believe they are mostly pushing lies and political propaganda.

If people genuinely cared about saving lives and the well being of citizens then number 1 would be immediately stop murdering babies. Today 3,500 babies were legally murdered in the US. What about their right to choose, their rights to grow up, to love, and be loved. What about the loving parents who could have adopted them, but instead they butchered them. It's many times worse than the holocaust and no one seems to care.

Also, smoking kills up to half a million people in the US every year and no one seems to care. Drugs and alcohol kill even more. If someone calls the Wuhan virus a pandemic, then that is absolutely nothing compared to the real threats and top causes of death. Obesity is another one. 2/3 of Americans overweight and its an epidemic and out of control. Huge number of deaths from it, like heart disease, cancer, etc. But I don't see cultural change over that either. These 3 things mentioned are significantly more life threatening than the virus from china.

How have you determined that this Virus is a fake? It's good & valuable when someone shares something that they have learned, but it has to be authenticated. If on spiritual matters, then we need to find evidence in God's Word; if on earthly matters, then we need evidence here also.

In the legal system, as with God's system, evidence has to be given to prove the guilt (or, innocence) of that person. If there's no evidence, the case is thrown out of court. If I can prove to God that I'm without sin, then God can't charge me for it & has to punish me. But I've tried, but everywhere I look inside me, I find that God is right about my sinful condition.

So, if you believe that the evidence shown about the Virus' existence is all made up, then what is your evidence to disprove that? I mean, you could be right in your declaration, but proof is required.
