Translation, please.
I appreciate your comments and thoughts on this matter.
The many different views and ideas that come from this type of discussion are valuable to the overall understanding of Scripture.
I will leave you with this concerning the Seventh Day vs. the First Day.
I will hold to my understanding that if God or Jesus wanted us to change His day of rest, They would have made it abundantly clear. Correct interpretation of Scripture will justify a position. Any application to other thoughts or ideas may be welcome, but it cannot alter the interpretation. Inference is not the best way to justify a position. I have to remind myself of this all the time.
If Christ foretold us ALL THINGS ( Mark 13:23), why did He not clearly explain this changing of the 7th day to us as everything else we needed to know was.
Acts 18:4 can be used as an example that after Christ died, and rose from the dead, Paul was continually teaching in the synagogues on every Sabbath day, to both Greeks and Jews.
I believe that there is no particular day in which you worship more than any other day. That is a 7 day a week plan.
I believe that one day out of seven (the 7th day) the body should rest (as per instruction by our heavenly Father).
According to our current (Gregorian) 365 day calendar, the days slide (so to speak). For instance, your birthday might be on a Monday this year, but will slide to Tuesday (or possibly Wednesday) the following year.
So then, technically, this year's Sunday was last year's Saturday.
Is it Sunday because we are told so?
Among the findings of the Dead Sea Scrolls was the book of Enoch.
The book of Enoch contains the priestly Solar Calendar (ch. 72, 82). It is a 364 day calendar based on 52 seven day weeks.
It is a perfect solar priestly calendar used by the Israelites for thousands of years. This amazing calendar resets every year.
The DSS are a wealth of (seemingly untapped) information for Biblical students.
What the Lord can do with His trusting children!"
Awesome! Have you ever wrote this down in article form- like 2 to 5 pages long? I would love to send this out to my email-blast readers in Ohio and beyond. I try to encourage people to share their faith. Most are not risking their lives adn should be willing to share the gospel with those around them but 98% do not share their faith regularly.
I could use prayer for stomach problems and back. Found out I was born with a mild form of spina bifida and now understand why I started dealing with back issues as early as my early-30's. I will be 53 soon. Prayers appreciated. I do believe God still heals. He did heal me of a problem in my early walk. David's ministry is called Acts17apologetics. he has almost 500,000 subscribers now. maybe you can team up with him on evangelism. He does debates also.
I'm sure you too have many great stories to tell in your encounters with those of other faiths. And all these are not to bring us into the limelight, but all praise to the Lord Who superintends our ways.
My best stories were in my youth. I hit the streets with gospel tracts when I was 16 with two other hippies at that time. People were so much more receptive back then. Hearts are getting hard with many. It's cool when the Holy Spirit shows up with a divine appointment or you get a word of knowledge. I've been doing most of my evangelism online for about 10 years now. Built a 12 x 6 cross in 2007 that we went around with. that was interesting. "Hey, Jesus didn't have a wheel." It opened up doors as people came to you. My zeal isn't where it was when I was younger in the Lord. I want thta back. I think about, "Why bother anymore? People don't care about the things of God or care to repent and come to Christ" and then I think what if Jesus had that attitude int he Garden of Gethsemane? I guess I and maybe you too don't always feel like sharing the gospel but we must press on even on the days we dont' feel like it. Pray for me for more zeal.
God didn't say to have faith in objects and he speaks against any idolizing of objects.
God said clear and simply trust in him. Through him all things are possible.
If you choose to put your faith into a government organization who uses practice of the khabal for evil and lying about facts, I will pray for you my friend to open your eyes.
"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."
This is one of the great descriptions of Faith in the Bible. To explain this: the words 'substance' & 'evidence' (in that verse) tell us about things we can physically see or can be proven without any doubt. So what you have around your home or with family members are all real & seeing them doesn't require any faith from you.
What happens when you've planned to go on a holiday? The holiday hasn't happened yet, but you are hoping that nothing will stop you going. Is this faith? No, it's still only a hope. You could say, "I have faith that it will happen", but if there can be a possibility of it not happening, then it's what we say, is a misdirected faith. Then this awful virus starts up & all your plans are cancelled so you've lost all hope of going on holiday.
That's what it's like on the Earth: we can hope for something but we really don't know for sure that it will happen for us. But, when the Bible speaks of Hebrews 11 Faith, we see that we can only use it when God gives His Promise for it to happen. So, if you believe that there is a God & a Heaven (both you can't see), then it means that your faith is based on God's Word & not on your sight. This is Real Faith as you believe according to His Word that His Word is sure. Some people also know about God but are uncertain about Him - no faith - no Heaven.
Noah built a large boat. He may not have seen a flood from rain but still built a strange vessel that seemed of little value & purpose. But he demonstrated faith, because he believed God & trusted God that this vessel would somehow save these few people & animals & a flood would somehow cover the Earth & wipe out all left behind. I hope this explanation helps you understand that Faith is believing (as in, seeing) that something is there or will happen from God's Word, even when there's no evidence for it.
The psalm is a regular part of Jewish, Catholic, Anglican and Protestant liturgies. It has been set to music often.
Please pray for my protection in this house in Jesus name. Pray that the devil does not take or steal anything of mine in Jesus name. Pray that God gives me inner peace in the financial blessing to leave right now
The mention of "principalities, powers, rulers of darkness & spiritual wickedness" are all terms referring to this spirit world of evil. And we know that the god of this world is the devil ( 2 Cor 4:4, Jn 12:31, 16:11) for he rules for now, capturing the hearts of many, seducing & causing them to believe in his lies. He's have a wild time with mankind & knows that his days are numbered when he, his wicked demons, & all who reject the Lord & His Christ, will one day be locked away forever - all sin will have gone & we will return to the beauty & perfection which was in Eden.
You mentioned specifically 'principalities'. A principality is an area, whether small or large, that is ruled by a prince. My earlier Bible references speak of this 'prince'. He has ruined God's creation with sin & suffering & has a host of angels (demons) that do his bidding. He wreaks havoc over the world, yet so many are blissfully unaware of his presence & power & believe this is a normal life we live. But those who have put their trust in God & attend to His Word are Satan's prime targets & we need to remain vigilant, putting on the whole armour of God (vv 13-18) & defeat him daily in the Lord's Power. We can't get away from it - we are in a fight - the battle will be long - but the end is victory through Jesus Christ ( 1 Cor 15:57).
Which shaketh the earth out of her place, and the pillars thereof tremble.
Psalms 75:3 (Read whole chapter)
The earth and all the inhabitants thereof are dissolved: I bear up the pillars of it. Selah.
Joel 2:30
And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.
I don't know why this is important to you. May I suggest that you use this Websites Search Engine when you come in here.
A thorough search of pillars. Be sure to read all scripture pointed to; in those center of the page reference columns.

However, thinking further on your plight, I also have something similar happening to me. However, mine is a medical matter with the eyes which I've had since I was a kid:

This is the very first time, I think, that I have read through discussions here although I have visited kingjamesbibleonline.org many, many times for some time now.
I could sense that you are a very gentle soul and that was, mainly, what prompted me to post this comment.
By the way, I have come to this part of the forum, some minutes after I had started looking for commentaries on "the islands of the sea" ( Isaiah 11:11).
God bless you. Have a blessed day!
But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.
Ephesians 5:23
For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
Ephesians 4:15
But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
COMMENT:
If both partners are Christians, then the headship indicated in these few verses, show how it works. As the husband follows Jesus, the wife should have no trouble following her husbands lead.
If there is disagreement, then the two should find scripture to work out a reconciliation.
If one of you is an unbeliever in Jesus; marriage may difficult at times. It is the witness of the saved partner, and their behavior that may bring the unsaved to believe in Jesus one day.
1 Corinthians 7 is the marriage chapter. 1 Corinthians 13 is the Love chapter.
I hope this helps you. Mishael
May God Bless Everyone Reading The Scriptures.
However, thinking further on your plight, I also have something similar happening to me. However, mine is a medical matter with the eyes which I've had since I was a kid: whenever I look at the sky or the ceiling in a room, I see black spots of different shapes & sizes & they all continuously move around. I asked my optometrist about this, & she called them 'floaters', & some people have them. Maybe you need to make an appointment with one to check your eyes for this, as well as your peripheral vision, glaucoma, macula degeneration, etc. & rule out this phenomenon. But I don't see any numbers - that sounds a little weird.
