My husband has gone to be with JESUS now over 8 years...........We have lots of young'uns'. grandyoung'uns' and great-grandyoung'uns' but my heart still grieves for the love that I have lost..............They told me that as the years go by the hurt lessens...........But not so...........

Thru' these years I dream of him but never see him but in my dreams I know it is my love....

When my days get dark the only thing I can rely on is I know my JESUS cares...................

I believe in only GOD'S words, not man's................GOD is good to me but will the hurt ever go away in my lifetime and HIS words that I so need to hear...........

When my love left me I was sooooooooooo happy as I knew he was happy but as the years go

by the longing gets so much worse...........Please pray for me..........

    Thank you

I've had the same kind of experience. I lost all my party animal friends; even casual Christians.

All you have to do is ask Jesus to bring new friends into your circle. Set aside a little budget so you and new friends can go to I-HOP and get Nachos for 6. :D

Keep your "discernment ears on" in case of Casual/Worldly Christians. Always take your Bible. Don't be shocked if the people in the next booth lean over to hear you all lift up Jesus. Read Malachi 3:16-17 (Click on this link)

You need to get another Bible with center of the page reference columns. Each alphabet or number refers to another scripture that adds more illumination to the first. Some are current to that time or they are prophetic (future). You have to get what you need to study these things deeper. Sometimes you have to buy reference books. I highly recommend a large print encyclopedia with a full concordance. Try AbeBooks to get previously owned. Google them.

Here is a few on Leviticus

    16:5 see Lev 4:14, Numbers 29:11, 2 Chron. 29:21, Ezra 6:17, Ezekiel 45:22

    16:8. See chapter 9:7, Hebrews 7:27-28

    16:9 see Proverbs 16:33

    16:10 see Isaiah 53:4-10, Romans 3:25,

    2 Corinthians 5:21, 1 John 2:2

At the end of all that you will see that Jesus was the Scapegoat for us. He has already made atonement for us.

You're going to have to look this all up and then ask THE HOLY SPIRIT to teach you what it means today. He's your Teacher.

It means prayer on your part, and turning off all racket to sit quietly before the Lord for answers. You will be amazed at what you learn. Psalm 63:6 and Proverbs 8:34

  • Chris - In Reply on Isaiah 61 - 5 years ago
I was so sad to read of the loss of your son. But your words didn't end there: it showed that in your grief you are being ministered to from the Word of God & by His Spirit. That is God's healing balm for your spirit & soul that is not given in measure but always in its fullness.

And I share the following from personal experience. I lost my Mother when quite young, then fifteen years later my Dad had also gone. I was not only all alone now but emotionally shattered - I went towards the edge of a high hill preparing to suicide. I had turned to the Lord a few years earlier but just couldn't face not having any family with me & suicide was my only option to cope with my grief. If it were not for the Lord's Presence in a mighty way at that instant, I would have easily gone through with my plan.

Psalm 16:11: "Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fullness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore." This was the verse that pounded in my heart & more so as I approached the edge. God's Spirit was withholding me & reminding me that I can still enjoy His Presence & Love to the fullest in spite of my loss & that my Dad too was enjoying God's Presence right there in Heaven, with my Mother. And you know what? I didn't even know about this verse or where it might be in the Bible: God put it there in my mind. I had to search it out later in the Bible.

Such is God's special Work in believers' hearts - when we belong to Him, His Spirit intervenes in a very special way to minister to that part of us that hurts the most & reminds us of His Love which we can hardly comprehend. It's been 35 yrs since that time & I still remember it vividly but more so, God's immediate intervention to spare my life. Giesela, I pray that you will continually find joy & peace in your life as you resort to your loving Heavenly Father. That's an empty hole in your heart that only God can fill in a beautiful way. I'll leave Psalm 16:11 for you too.

In the same Spirit of the apostles I say it's sad to know they took our God and hung Him on a tree saying, "others he saved himself he cannot."

Peter declared, "But ye denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you;"

Stephen declared before his martyr, "Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye.

"Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted? and they have slain them which shewed before of the coming of the Just One; of whom ye have been now the betrayers and murderers:"

Our Lord asked, " O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt."

It is easier to sympathize for Judas saying it was scripted for him to betray our Lord?

Why should Judas be damned when he only fulfilled prophecy?

Have we sympathized to our Lord?

Is it not sad that because of evil men our Lord was crucified?

Or do we say, Oh well, it had to be that way?

When the scriptures say God is merciful and longsuffering, we have no idea how longsuffering our God is regarding us.

Would it not be an unbearable thought to find out an evil king commanded that every male infant from age 2 under be slaughtered because you or I was born?

Do we sympathize with Judas? or our Lord?

Our Lord came to save us from the Judas' who killed the prophets and resist the Holy Ghost.
  • Mishael follow up on Third Eye - In Reply on James 1 - 5 years ago
If you use the search box when you come into the website: type in, Third Eye

It brings up NO scriptures from KJV Bible.

Nothing comes up except the quick link to Google.

Personally, I do not see what Third Eye has to do with Jesus Christ and you believing in what HE DID.

I could add other comment on that but I'm not going to. You should give your energy to finding out why millions upon millions have given their hearts and sometime their mortal lives To Jesus.

Satan attacks us in any way he can get a toe hold. For some it is through a spirit of higher intellect. Jesus came as the Good Shepherd who careth for His sheep. We are to be content to live by His side. To submit to his leadership.

I don't want to argue this anymore.

    Bob,

Please do not twist my words to make it look like I believe the Lord is a polygamist. Have I ever heard of the bride of Christ? Of course I have. And I never said there is no mention of the church after Revelation Chapter 3. Please read my post carefully before twisting my words. The church is mentioned in Chapter 19. We are the ones who will be clothed in white garments, the garments of a bride. I find the 7 steps of a Jewish wedding quite fascinating with how it parallels Christ coming for His bride. You may not find it fascinating as you seem to be completely against all things Jewish. Can you show me where in Chapters 3 through 18 the church or the phrase "bride of Christ" is mentioned? If you can show me that, perhaps I might be persuaded to at least rethink my position. Also, since you believe the church has to go through the tribulation, what will the role of the church be during this time?

You say believing Christians are called saints at times? I'm not sure what you are getting at. I know every born again believer is a saint. I became a saint the moment I received Christ. I am a saint by calling. Christ called me and I responded to the call and I received Christ. So I am a saint. It has nothing to do with my human performance. I am a saint because God has set me apart for His purpose. That's what a saint is. The words holy, saint, set apart, sanctified, and sanctification all come from the same word, Hagios.

The church will not be overcome by the Antichrist because the church will not be here. There will be people getting saved during the tribulation and they will be put to death for it. I guess you can say they will be overcome because being beheaded sounds like being overcome to me. They were not part of the church at the start of the tribulation, and the church does not enter into the tribulation. They went into the tribulation as non-believers and refused the mark and received Christ after being warned by guess who? Jews, 144,000 of them!
  • Chris - In Reply on James 1 - 5 years ago
Thank you for your comments, "Seventh day is sabbath". I always maintain that if the foundation is not settled, then anything built thereon will be shaky. So, referring to your first comment: "The Sabbath was given to man Mark 2:27 at creation Genesis 2:2-3 it's not a day that God required just for the Israelite's to keep, which is why the 4th commandment starts with "remember" it is because the children of Israel had forgotten through hundreds of years of slavery in Egypt."

It seems that your understanding of those Scriptures in Genesis & Mark applied not only to Israel but to all mankind, or more specifically to the 'other sheep' that were to come into Christ's fold. To this I disagree, for the following reasons:

    a. Exodus 31:13-17 & Ezek 20:12. Clear references as to who should keep the Sabbath & that it was given as not only a day of ceasing from all labours, but as importantly, a sign of the relationship between God & Israel. It was never intended to include Gentiles or the Church in such a requirement.

    b. Galatians 3:19. Shows that both the validity & finality of the Law (the whole Law) was fully realized at the death of Jesus Christ.

    c. Matthew 5:17. Jesus demonstrated that He alone could fulfil the whole requirements of the Law & none else. The Law was given because of "transgressions" but none could obey it fully to please God & satisfy its demands, since "if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law" ( Gal 3:21). So no Law could bring righteousness, even as a certain ruler learned ( Lk 18:18-24). If he believed he obeyed all of God's Law, how did Jesus pick him up on that point of selling all & following him? That man just had a quick lesson to find out that he in fact didn't obey it perfectly: he broke the very first commandment by placing his wealth, & maybe family & other assets, before his love for God.

How then can we rest on the Law for anything except to know God's Mind & Purposes?

When i think about god i think of sharing his word which is good but i know that i don't have myself right with him and i want to build my relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. I need prayer to soften my heart, not having fear being made fun of for sharing gods word, and to feel peaceful and know my god also loves me

  • Mishael on Condemning Memories - In Reply on Proverbs 6:16 - 5 years ago
Apostle Paul ordered Stephan killed for evangelizing. Stephan saw heaven open and Jesus stand up, at the offense of his murder. I believe Stephan was taken then, so as not to suffer anymore. So was your baby. Who is alive now in heaven. God knows your pain and you must begin to have FAITH in His forgiveness. Without faith it's impossible to please God. The blood of Jesus has been poured out for all of your sins. Even this.

Feelings are not Faith. Your feelings declare that God cannot forgive this.

Another thing you need to know: satan is the ACCUSER of the brethren. He will accuse and grind you into powder if you allow it. He's counting on you to walk away from God.

Paul met Jesus by hearing only the next day. He was confronted and blinded a few days after. His life was changed forever. He wrote much of the New Testament! Many have been born again through him.

Do as I had to do: give your child a name and know there will be a happy reunion in heaven someday. There will be no memory of the offense. Why? Because the blood of Jesus has been shed over that memory.

You must turn on Satan and cast him and his demons OUT of your memories. Fear (a demon) hath Torments (demons that torture). That's who your enemy is. You make it easy for them when you self-condemn. 'Torments' is plural so you may have to do it, more than once. Satan is cruel.

YOU are going to have to be like that cripple man Jesus healed: He said, RISE, pick up your bed and walk home!

There is NOW no condemnation to those that ARE IN Christ Jesus.

Every time you hear that condemning voice in your head: you are going to have to cast out those demons, In Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Name, to go into dry places, forever.

You must fill up your mind with the Bible. Stay in the Gospels and memorize what Jesus SAID to everyone who was healed.

    Be diligent.

It's way in the future, but someday you will be strong enough to help someone else get free from condemning memories.
  • Chris - In Reply on James 1 - 5 years ago
Cindy, thank you for your response & taking the trouble to send us some Scriptures in support. I had a look at those as well as the En-Gedi website to understand more of what you were referring to.

That website does make a reference to the Third Eye, but only for contrast to what Jesus spoke about concerning the 'eye' (i.e. being single or being evil, etc.) & what John Wesley commented about the eye. However, one Elizabeth Clare Prophet (New Ager) was also quoted in contrast who gave her understanding: that "Jesus was speaking of the "third eye chakra" or inner eye of enlightenment. When humans were first created perfect, she says, they were enlightened by this third eye, but after the fall, it is now only reached through meditation." So please don't be swayed by this, as this type of belief is opposed to Holy Scripture & comes mixed with Eastern religions that are in direct violation to the teachings of the Bible. There is no such thing as a third eye: when we are saved through Christ's shed Blood, it is the Holy Spirit Who enlightens our minds to see ourselves, other people & the world we live in, through 'different eyes' = as Christ sees things. To desire knowledge about 'third eye', shows that we lend our support to such a belief & this can NEVER be for a true follower of Jesus & one who is obedient to God's Word. The New Age teaching is from Hell & violates everything that God teaches us from the Bible & requires of us.

The Bible verses you gave do not support this 'third eye' belief, rather they speak of our understanding, our purity & the way we need to look at others. So, in my summation, I don't believe for one moment that the Bible has any reference at all to a 'third eye' & it would be most profitable for you to not meddle with such anti-biblical teaching which ultimately leads us away from Truth & Holiness.

Jesus tells us plainly the timing of the resurrection in Matthew 13:24 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:

25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed (weeds) tares among the wheat, and went his way.

26 But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.

27 So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?

28 He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?

29 But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.

30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together FIRST first the TARES (WEEDS) tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

(first the tares WEEDS get gathered, then the wheat last) could it be any more plain than this?)

Did Jesus mess up the timing of end time events?

Matthew 13:36 Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.

    37 He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;

    38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;

39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.

40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.

I am trying to figure out why Numbers Chapter 28 doesn't mention the scapegoat (which is part of the Day of Atonement sacrifice including the sin offering of another goat), there are 2 goats to be offered as a part of the Day of Atonement sacrifices. In Leviticus, the Day of Atonement is commanded by the Lord to be observed every year. I don't understand why Chapter 28 of Numbers addresses feasts, offerings, sacrifices but leaves out the Day of Atonement sacrifices. I don't see how the book of Numbers could not address the Day of Atonement. I'm aware that the scapegoat (Azazel) is mentioned in the book of Leviticus. I don't understand why Numbers doesn't mention it as Israel is preparing to enter the promised land.

Jessie there is not mention of the church after revelation 3? Have you not heard of the bride of Christ?

There is no separate Jewish bride and a different Christian bride. There is only one bride and the Lord is not a polygamist with multiple brides. Believing Christians are called saints at times. If you do not see the church it is because you are not looking for her. The Church is going to be overcome in the flesh by the antichrist and be purified of her lukewarm faith.

    Bendito Palavra, Amen!

There is no mention of the church during the tribulation time frame from Revelation Chapter 3 through Chapter 19. I see no mention of the church until I get to Chapter 19 of Revelation. The church will be in heaven while chaos is happening here on the earth. We are the ones in Chapter 19 who will be clothed in white garments at this wedding that is taking place prior to Christ's second coming. Chapter 19 also tells us that at Christ's second coming, we (the church) come with Him.
