Read all the Gospels; particularly the Book of Luke, about Mary's participation. She was a chosen vessel.
Everybody on earth is born into sin. That is why we need a Savior who can wipe that sin as far as the East is from the west. God is Holy and cannot look on sin! That's why the Savior was born.
How could Jesus say I do not know you??? He can say this because the public church after 120AD are become only the Whore Christian church of the Beast empire of the day. Rev tells us by John the Divine Witnessing He is Perfect in Christ Jesus tells him God's message that the BEAST will arise thru many empires and Jesus names each one in order by Daniel. So Now God tells Jesus declare the Perfecting of Saints church go underground not public anymore after 120ADToday only the USA fits being THE Global Empire of Babylon in a whoring relationship with the public False Christian church all public churches under the Popes doctrines believe the same doctrines not from God but from their individual slightly differing doctrines. As Job said Before today I knew you by doctrines Now I know you face to face. So become PERFECT exactly like Christ then you know Jesus and God. God is in heaven when he dwells in you God is referred to as The Holy Spirit. No 3rd person of the God head. Period. The public church does not know the gospel at all only to introduce you to know Jesus is the Son of God who died for your sins but That is as far as they have gotten. Rush with fast feet toward the living God to be Divine as He is.
Adam and Eve died SPIRITUALLY, not physically. They were banished from Eden, but still alive. Read through to the genealogies.
Same thing with Noah:
7 And he sent forth a raven, which went forth to and fro, until the waters were dried up from off the earth.
8 Also he sent forth a dove from him, to see IF THE WATERS were abated from off the face of the ground;
9 But the dove found no rest for the sole of her foot, and she returned unto him into the ark, for the waters were on the face of the whole earth: then he put forth his hand, and took her, and pulled her in unto him into the ark.
10 And he stayed yet other seven days; and again he sent forth the dove out of the ark;
11 And the dove came in to him in the evening; and, lo, in her mouth was an olive leaf pluckt off: so Noah knew that the waters were ABATED from off the earth.
Jesus was coming through Noah's bloodline/ genealogy.
I have to read chapter 68 wish one is its all the above
To be luke warm is to be on the middle.
I believe Jesus had the same mother and Father as the first Adam.
1 Corinthians 15:45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. Jesus is called the last Adam.
Christ is likened to the folowing
Hebrews Chapter 7
1 For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him;
2 To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace;
3 Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually.
no earthly mother or Father
2 Peter 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
Yes Adam lived 900+ years human wise and died in one day in the eyes of the Lord, since a day to the Lord is as
1,000 years.
There is no discrepancy with the Bible that I have found.
Happy to offer my opinion.
1. Genesis 2:17. Adam did die. Death and aging didn't happen before that. So, Adam was instantly separated from God spiritually (spiritual death), and began a slow process of physical death from that point on via aging. And if God killed him instantly, you'd probably have people criticizing that too and making negative claims and assumptions about that, so he allowed Adam (and people in general) to have a long life.
"for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die." - sounds like you're interpreting this as thou shalt surely die 'that day', but it doesn't say that. It says in 'the day' that he eats it ... this will happen (death), but it didn't say how soon the death part would occur. It seems to mean spiritual death + death through aging.
2. Genesis 7:4 - "every living substance". The Bible already explained this. Just like in writing class you often write a general thesis at the beginning then later explain more specifically what it means this is what's done here. It doesn't mean it's inaccurate. Simply keep reading. Gen 7:21-23 it specifically says "And all flesh died that moved upon the earth, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of beast, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth, and every man:"
22 says each with nostrils, 23 gives examples which are land animals. It says substance, but appears to mean animals.
The other possibility is that the olive tree was dead and came back to live when the waters receded, but I don't think so, because it would have explained that when it was specific in verses 21-23.
God said Adam would die "in that day" Genesis 2:17 that he partook of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, but he lived until 930 years old.
God said that the flood of Noah's time would destroy "every living substance" ( Genesis 7:4, Genesis 7:23) from the face of the earth," yet the dove sent by Noah plucked an olive leaf from an olive tree after the flood. A tree is a living substance.
If these phrases are taken at face value, would there not be a discrepancy in the Word of God?
#2 to believe that Jesus 2nd Coming refers to a time at the end of the Grace Age work of God to make you in Jesus image, sinless Perfect is a one time thing is quite unscriptural Jesus coming in the clouds refers to clouds being Ministers Perfected. Then they preach Perfection in Christ throughout the entire Grace Age starting with the apostles, thus sayeth the Lord
BC stands for Before Christ and AD means Anno Domino or year of our LORD
BCE means Before COMMON ERA as if the birth of Christ was common or vulgar.
CE means COMMON ERA.
From wickedpedia: "The term "Common Era" can be found in English as early as 1708,[7] and became more widely used in the mid-19th century by Jewish religious scholars. In the later 20th century, the use of CE and BCE was popularized in academic and scientific publications as a culturally neutral term. It is also used by some authors and publishers who wish to emphasize sensitivity to non-Christians by not explicitly referencing Jesus as "Christ" and Dominus ("Lord") through use of the abbreviation[c] "AD"
Basically using BCE and CE is a DENIAL OF JESUS.
This would be committing murder with the intent to do so. The word kill in thou shalt not kill is the word murder. There is a difference. If someone breaks into your home in the middle of the night, you have the right to defend yourself and your family. God forbid that ever happen, but in that case, your motive would not be to commit murder but to defend your family. It is the same for those who fight in a war. A person should never enlist in the military if their motive is to go out and kill people. That is what I told my son right before he went into the Marine Corp. I myself am also a 22-year military veteran. If that is their motive, then in their heart that would be considered murder. We see many places in the Old Testament where God sent armies of one nation to go in and wipe out another. God would not say thou shalt not kill and then turn around and command people to kill. You see, it's the motive of the heart. We are not to commit murder out from an evil heart and intent to do so. I hope this makes some sense.
Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man (Adam) sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Yet ALL does not mean ALL with one exception
Hebrews Chapter 4:14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast [our] profession.
15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as [we are, yet] without sin. WITHOUT SIN Jesus
16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
Exodus 22:2 If a thief be found breaking up, and be smitten that he die, there shall no blood be shed for him.
If a thief (you do not know why he is there, maybe to kill) is struck and killed you are guiltless.
Jesus in Luke 22:36 Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.
Why did Jesus tell his disciples to buy a sword? Not to murder, rather to protect themselves and family.
1 Timothy 5:8 But if any PROVIDE provide NOT not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel. (provide what? Food, shelter, clothing and PROTECTION)
1. Stephens' death (there is no way to prove historically or Biblically that Stephen was killed an exact 3 1/2 years after Jesus. But I am open to this idea.
2. This is my take. The Great Revolt War that lasted 3 1/2 years from the fall of 66 AD to the spring of 70 AD; the Stay of Execution extra 40 years. 40 means trials and temptations in the Bible. even the demonic Jooish Talmud admits to the scarlet wool never turning white again from 40 years before the destruction of Jerusalam in Yoma 39b. This was a supernatural sign that God did after the Day of atonement. It never happened again after Jesus' death. This proves the abominationS in Daniel 9:27 has to be what the killing of animals again, not what ONE man way in the future was going to do. Even building a third temple is an abomination. See what God did to this attempt in 363 AD. I fear so many Christians are heading for major judgment for sending money to have this done.
3. A way in the future 3 1/2 years. The new testament does talk about a 3 1/2 year period of tribulation in the future. Question is, is it a totally different 3 1/2 years than the 3 1/2 years that was left after Jesus' death?
I hold to #2 as it fits perfectly with Daniel 9:24-27. I hold to a 40 year gap from 486 1/2 years to the 490 years because the passage not only talks about the death of the Messiah but also the destruction of Jerusalem so it keeps with the context of the passage.
Great Tribulation coming upon the whole church will be 3 1/2 years as far as the persecution upon the entire church goes as many int he world have been under great tribulation since day one of being saved. Then God's wrath will be poured out with the plagues. Then Jesus the Son's wrath will be poured out at His return right after we are taking up.
How I see it.
c. All the things Jesus said in Matthew 20 thru 24 1/2 were fulfilled.
d. almost every single pre-1830 commentary I have read said this 'he' was Jesus or in John Gill's case, the Roman Army but Gill is off because they would have used the word 'they' (plural) instead of 'he' (singular) if it was more than one person. No references I could find up to date that teaches this 'he' is a future antichrist. It doesn't even make sense unless all grammar is thrown out. Check out what an antecedent is in grammar.
e. to turn abominationS (plural) in verse 27 into abomination (singular) is messing with God's Word. So what did the hierarchy of the religious leaders do after Jesus was crucified? they began animal sacrifice again thus mocking Jesus' death. This is the worst kind of abomination one can do, much worse than killing a pig on the altar as Antiochus Epiphanes did in 160 BC.
So in summary, there was only 3 1/2 years left after Jesus died in the 490 year timeline. Question is, was it fulfilled in
