That does not mean people can go on killing and committing all kinds of sin. There will be suffering for all of us who believe in Christ. Because we sin all the time. We cannot keep the law.
Jesus said, "if you hate your brother you have already committed murder in your heart." and "If you look at a woman to lust after her, you have committed adultery in your heart." The law only points out the sin and convicts us of it. It cannot save us. "My Grace is sufficient .." God says.
And I suppose "the one thing that a person can commit that cannot be forgiven even by God" would ultimately be a full rejection of His Love shown through the giving of Himself through His Son. But this opportunity is open till one's last breath, though some mistakenly believe that they take that chance & do so successfully.
I at one point in my life when I was a young man thought I may have committed this sin. I sought scriptures on it , I sought people to explain to me what it actually was. I was in a phycological hell for a time. Until I read a piece on what the unpardonable sin really was. The man who wrote said what I just quoted. The unpardonable sin, he said, was total disregard for the things of God especially if one knows the will of God and has rejected all. Then you die in your sin without the saving Grace that is called the Gift of God. ( Ephesians 2:8)
If you CARE about having done such a thing points to want to repent . And sorrow that one may have committed it. The person who does not care will not have such a conviction. Because the Unpardonable sin is ignoring the Love of God and the conscience is seared. Faith cannot be restored by such an individual.
With King David, he recognized his grave error & repented; generally Psalm 51 is understood as that prayer, also Psalm 32 may also be associated with it. But when one, in his great distress commits suicide, where then is the place of repentance? I'm of the belief that we only have this life to make amends before God, through His Son - after death (or, suicide), there remains no further opportunity. However, I did qualify my thoughts by saying that even in this matter, God is still the Omniscient Judge as He knows much more about the suicide event that will always be beyond human knowledge & judgement.

Read about "the Spiritual Man" by Watchman Nee: its weighty, but thoroughly explains the inner workings of the flesh, our souls and the spirit (which is made alive) upon being born again and sealed by the Holy Spirit.
The Godhead is made up of 3 distinct persons. We are born of flesh and soul. When we receive Jesus as Savior and Lord, our spirits are made alive to God.
The Holy Spirit tells us about Jesus. In chapters 16-17
That's why it's paramount to build up our inner most selves on reading the Bible. Why not begin reading in the New Testament?
I did a study just in the Gospels about the dynamics between Jesus, the Father, the Holy Spirit; the Apostles; and you can see how the Body of Christ is to operate as a unit; one Body.
The Old Testament can be accessed to see the prophesies that have been fulfilled, or the few that are being fulfilled now.
We are to be involved in EQUIPPING the Saints of God for the Lord to have available; disciples to work in this End Time Harvest.
We are to be His Body that sees, hears, teaches and preaches what we have learned; TO THOSE THAT ARE PERISHING !
Has anybody memorized the link out on the Red Section that has the Link: How TO Become A Christian??
Where is The Spirit of John the Baptist? Calling people to repent and be born again?
Do you know enough to lead them in a prayer for salvation? Point them to a Church that possesses the pure milk of the Word? 1 Peter2:2
1 Corinthians Chapter 3
1 And I, brethren, could NOT speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ.
2 I have fed you with MILK and not with MEAT: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it; NEITHER NOW are ye able.
3 For ye are yet CARNAL: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?
John 4:34
JESUS saith unto them, My MEAT is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work
As Christian, start your prayer by confessing your sins to God, and repent. Bow down to bring honor, praises, and glory to God - our Lord Jesus. Then, cast out evil spirit, evil thoughts in Jesus' name!!! And proceed to Psalms 23.
Try Psalms 23:4 Context
1(A Psalm of David.) The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. 3He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. 4Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. 5Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. 6Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
AS BORN AGAIN CHRISTIAN - you and I go through these process.
First Step = Humbled self, confess & turn away from sin, accept Jesus as God and Savior;
Second Step = Get baptized - water baptism similar to what Jesus went through by John the Baptist = you died to sins, is born again in Jesus' name;
Third Step = our Lord Jesus baptized you with the Holy Spirit - Holy Spirit indwells or lives in your heart;
Fourth Step = Holy Spirit guides, protects you from evil. God allows trials, all sorts of problems to test your faith in God. Why would God do this? To purify you - purge or cleanse your old sinful prideful selfish desires, self-will, so that God's Holy Spirit can merge with your spirit - to mold you in the image and likeness of our Lord Jesus.
NOTE: Steps 1, 3 & 4 are ongoing process that every Christians must go through - if and when you repeatedly sin i.e. lie even white lies, and don't confess to God and repent, you grieve the Holy Spirit - some signs to remember - feeling guilty that you sin, feel like God is far not in you - the is the Holy Spirit guiding you, so you must listen and do what the Holy Spirit is teaching you. Please do not ignore this warnings from the Holy Spirit, if you ignore these, you become vulnerable target for Satan to steal you from God.
So, we're not the judge. We only see one side. We see injustice and want justice, right? God see's the whole picture and knows exactly what is fair for each individual. Nothing is hidden. We also want God to treat us fairly too, right, and not harshly?
The Word says blasphemy of the holy spirit is the only unforgiveable sin. In my view, I think it's having knowledge of the truth, and still deliberately turning your back on God, and denying Him and Jesus. It's possible that Judas did that. But I personally believe people who don't know better, who have grown up in a dysfunctional environment and were brainwashed to not know right from wrong and who have lived a life of sin will indeed be forgiven if they genuinely turn to follow Jesus. God knows if its genuine or not. He knows our heart.
My shepherd is the Lord, my King.
I'll never lack for any thing.
The greenest pastures are my bed,
for I have followed where He led.
He leads to waters calm, and still
where it is safe to drink my fill.
His blessings onto me are poured.
My very soul is thus restored.
His righteousness he teaches me.
There is no better way to be.
If risk of death dare to appear,
I'll not be struck with any fear.
My Lord is with me all the way.
His rod and staff keep wolves at bay.
The table where He'd have me dine
has seats for enemies of mine.
His oil anoints me, cool and mild,
thus proving that I am His child.
With bounty, He has blessed me, so
that soon, my cup may overflow.
His goodness occupies my mind.
His mercy follows close behind.
With Him, forever, I shall live,
the greatest gift that He can give.
