Ps Gill, greetings in the Lord's Name. I wonder whether we have met: your name seems familiar. I was leading the OM Team in Karachi in 1988-90 staying in a flat with my team off Shahrah-e-Faisal Rd, Nursery. Though we weren't aware of the Naveed-e-Noor ministry at that time; you might have served elsewhere. You may know of our dear (young) Pakistani brother, Shahid Waris, as he was there in Karachi serving with other teams over the years: he was well known amongst the Churches there though I had lost contact with him soon after we left. We were able by the Lord's mercies to do some good work over that time, but that resulted in us being expelled out of the country - so the ministry was cut short.

But my heart & prayers continue to go out to that special, needy land & will lay up your work before the Throne of Grace. Khudawand Yesu Masih apko barkat de.

Rich you are totally correct, it is America. Russia will also play a role in destroying this country. The sad part is people have been taught the word of God wrong and believe the saints will be raptured out and not experience the things that are to come. We have been taught that the fake jews in Israel as Rev 2:9 speaks of are the true people of the land, which is totally false. The Tribe of Judah ( Black People ) are the true Hebrews that have the semitic bloodline. The atrocities done to Judah and the children of Israel along with sin will be the reason for the destruction of babylon..

Isaac - You want the book of Enoch edited by Charles as the other one is occultism in nature. That is the one most Christians show interest in. It can be found online and some booksellers have it.

Maxine I believe this is what you are referring to: Isaiah 5:20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

It's good that u read every now and then but you should read it often and not just one book. Daily Bible reading is a Christians way of growth. Here are some scripture references for you to look up that talk about the pow of God's word and what it can do for you when you read them often; Joshua 1:8, Matthew 4:4, Psalm 119:97, 2 Timothy 2:15, 2 Timothy 3:14-17, Psalm 1:2-3, Acts 17:11, John 6:63, Hebrews 4:12, and Ephesians 6:17-20. May God work in your life and show you the importance of reading His word. God bless.

I love reading the comments, and have looked back pretty far to comments regarding the Book of Acts.

Salvation message in a nutshell is Acts 2:38. Someone once told me that the disciples got it wrong when they baptised in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. How sad. Sad to are those who refuse baptism and call it a 'work'. 1 Peter 3:21 tells us that... baptism doth now also save us....

Lots of things to cover but for now my last point is using Websters, Collins etc dictionaries cannot be used for Biblical understanding. You need a Strong's concordance to give you the correct meanings.

I pray that you all blessed in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, as you study His precious Word.

Well it doesn't actually say that particularly but in 2 Tim 3:1-5 tells us that "...in the last days perilous times shall come." And people will be doing wrong as if it were a good thing. So hopefully that helps you some.

I agree with you, that there seems to be an inconsistency here, with God at one point (v 12) telling Balaam not to go with those men, and then in verse 20, telling him to go with them. The only way to understand this paradox is to see it from God's viewpoint. God specifically told him not to go with them; Balaam then had some doubts about God's Word & wanted to check with Him again (v 19). This was where Balaam failed the Lord: in his doubt & his desire for some fame & fortune (vv 17,18). So, God gave him over to his lusts (v 20), which Balaam was more than happy to 'oblige', but as we know he was severely reprimanded by God (the angel & his ass) to his great sin of disobedience.

Go through every drawer, closet, attic, box, bookcase clothing jewelry, Horoscopes, movies, Sexual themes, EVERYTHING! Anything that could even remotely be an idol Or occult: put them in boxes and pour PAINT all over it and kitty litter. Put it on the curb for pickup.

I noticed that both of these books ARE ON YOUTUBE. Despite Bennys stage presence that people denounce now; in his earlier days He helped a lot of people get free from demonic persecution, including ME.

    Angels by Charles Capps

War in the Heavenlies by Benny Hinn (5 hrs Long)

The other thing: Get more Bible into you. Read New Testament: a Chapter a day.

You need information about spiritual warfare. The history of it and this present day tools to fight it. Benny takes time to explain what the Hebrew words are, and what they mean.

For Everybody that is studying Pre-Adamic creation and the Genesis account of Creation; you will want to get pencil and pad ready to get a complete picture of creation with the Prophetic scriptures spoken by Gods Prophets in the Bible.

It's all there. We just didn't put it together right. I challenge you to listen to and watch this on YouTube.

It's going stop stop all the arguing. I know I stand convicted about things I said. I'm excited to see what you think.

I've already looked at these other passages and it's going to take time to relearn what I thought was plain as the nose on my face.

1 Corinthians chapter 11 gives the ruling on head covering, of both men & women. The instruction is clearly that of a physical head covering & the reason for that is because of the order of creation (Christ is the head of man, as man is the head of woman) & for the observance of angelic beings in our corporate worship (v 10). This instruction was never to be a burden for women, as in those days particularly, it was quite natural for the head to be covered. But there may have been some who refused to do so, & therefore this instruction was given. And this applied to men who wilfully refused to remove their covering. All these actions were dishonouring to the Lord & showed contempt for each other.

Why is this not generally practised today? Various reasons are given, chiefly because of it not being culturally done/acceptable in general society, except for protection from the sun or for fashion at events. Each one of us must be convinced in our own hearts over this matter & to be careful not to be in judgement over another thus falling into sin.
  • Chris - In Reply on Romans 14 - 5 years ago
Levi, the Book of Romans, was written by Paul to the Christians in Rome & not to the Jews. These matters were raised by the apostle because of how these believers were treating others. So by judging others in what they ate, how they regarded certain days, treatment of slaves, etc. was wrong, said Paul, & so he gave them this warning. So, this chapter isn't about fasting but about judging others in the Church.

"Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way." Rom 14:13.

2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon The Great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.

Note: what caused her to fall? .... by-way of the heart of men, women, children... devils, fouls spirit, plus becoming a holding-place for uncleanness & hatefulness, she /they fell.

The text of the Book of Genesis says Enoch lived 365 years before he was taken by God.

He was considered to be the author of the Book of Enoch and also called Enoch the scribe of judgment.

The New Testament has three references to Enoch from the lineage of Seth ( Luke 3:37, Hebrews 11:5, Jude 1:14-15).

The Book of Enoch is considered to be a historical book and was not canonized into the Bible.
  • Chris - In Reply on 1 Kings 13:2 - 5 years ago
In that account you're reading, we see King Jeroboam (a bad king of Israel) had been sacrificing to idols on the altar. Then the man of God (a prophet) came to him & prophesied against that filthy altar that one day, Josiah (a good king of Judah) would desecrate those altars & indeed put the wicked priests themselves upon the altars to be burned. You can then read the rest of that encounter between Jeroboam & the prophet in that chapter, & indeed the folly of that prophet later in his disobedience to God that brought about his death. So the ashes in v 3, are not necessarily symbolic, but just signifying the death of those wicked priests, that both the ashes & the altars will be removed completely.

Isaac, the book of Enoch is an Apocryphal book that is not found in the Canon of Scripture. It is one of the books that were considered of doubtful value/quality when the Scriptures were put together for the KJV. If you want to see those books, then just go down to the end of this Site's page & click on KJV Apocrypha.

Maxine, I can't think of any verse to show this phrase applying to the latter days that you mention. However, you may be familiar with the OT verses that speak of this: Isaiah 5:20, Proverbs 17:15.
