I personally believe it comes down the heart. I don't believe it has to do with the amount or the % in my opinion. Jesus spoke about the poor woman who gave all she had: Luke 21:1-4. I also believe someone's time has value and people can give of their time and sometimes be of more help to others than giving money. I personally prefer to help someone I know and can continue the relationship with, than to give to a charity where the CEO makes $500k/year and 50% of the donations only go to cover expense overhead. Churches can be the same drain on money too and their spending can be as irresponsible as the government. For example, a medium sized city might have 200+ church buildings, each having overhead like tax, rent or mortgage, trash, AC/heat, licensing, fees, but most of the buildings are closed 95% of the time each week. So instead of sharing resources and lightening the burden on its members they each want their own expensive building then preach sermons guilt tripping each person about giving to 'God'. Some of the churches spend lots of money on fancy projectors and sound systems and other unnecessary luxuries or status symbols. I personally think it's more honorable and beneficial to talk to homeless people and try to help them or to talk to your neighbor or volunteer and help others in a more direct way. In general Christians should strive to be Christlike and be a light to the world. I personally don't think we should spend most of our money having our little private buildings' overhead that can be used to actually help others instead. I see nothing in the Bible about God wanting us to be prosperous- that's made up by rich preachers on TV who want to be richer and buy more planes. It instead says store your treasures in heaven, not on earth. Posessions can become idols. We're supposed to pursue God not objects. God bless.

I have been sober from alcohol for 23 years now. Right before Covid I became very sick. The doctors don't know what exactly is wrong and are running test. I keep getting canceled appts because of Covid and to be honest I am terrified to go to the hospital because of it. The doctor gave me Xanax to relax me and this was the worst thing that could have happened because I now have an addiction to it. I'm scared, every part of my body just doesn't feel right. I need prayer so badly. That I will be healed from whatever sickness to my colon, bladder etc.., and this new addiction which comes with detoxing. Please, please, please keep me in your prayers!

I feel that those in ch 20 verse 4 are those who have died in the seven years of tribulation as Gods people but have been marterred but the rest of the dead rightous and sinners will remain in there graves waiting for that last ressurection. Wouldn't that be why some in that last judgement will be saved and some will be cast into hell or the lake of fire. Maby those that miss heaven in the last judgement are those did not truly truly live for God but justified themselves. Just the way I see it.

Yes, The other Comforter Jesus was talking about was the Holy Ghost, John chapters 14,to 16 talk of the other Comforter and Acts chapter 2 is a good explanation of when the apostles received the Holy Ghost (Spirit)

Matthew 28: through baptism and faith, because the Holy Ghost is Spirit he can be anywhere in the world at the same time.

John 14:26 "But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you."

John 16:7 "Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you."

Acts 2:4 "And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance"

    Matthew 28:19

"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:"

In the text it indicates that Jesus was a young child, how young was he when the kings arrived? We have always believed that he was a baby in the manger when the kings arrived........

Because he doesn't go around taking life. Instead he lays down the rules and allows us to make free choices. Judgement day is coming when ALL (even the devil) be judged based on those choices.

There is a very simple explanation in the understanding of the sun and the moon "standing still" for a day. If the north and south poles were reversed it would create a long day. A simple way to see this phenomenon is to set a concrete mixer in motion and watch intently as it is turned over as in emptying it. It gives the impression of standing still and is a perfect example of the long day of Joshua

Anonymous, PG 3, Hebrews 6;17-20, Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath; That by two immutable things in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us; Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both "SURE" and stedfast, and which entered into that within the vail; Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec. The conclusion; we have Eternal Security based on Gods promise, not our achievements; and as the scripture says; For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Now that takes us to John 3:16-17, For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world ; but the world through him might be saved. I hope that helps. I'm sorry that took so long.

HI Anonymous. PG 2. Genesis 17:20-21. Ishmael I have heard thee: Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; 12 princes he will beget, and will make him a great nation, But my covenant will I establish with Isaac, which Sarah shall bear unto thee at this time set time in the next year...As you study Galatians Ch 4, you see in verses 4:22-31, you see the working of 2 covenants which all man kind is under one or another, But our focus is on the seed and the promise: Gal.4:28. Now we brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise. Galatians 3:6-8, Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. Know ye therefore that they which are of faith are children of Abraham... Now Galatians 3:16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He said not and to seeds, as of many; but to as of one, And that seed ,which is Christ. Hebrews 6:13-20, For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he swear by himself, Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee. And so after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise. For men verily swear by the greater; and an oath for confirmation is to them an end of all strife-

This introduction to the Book is given by the Apostle John, when he was exiled on the isle of Patmos. He declares that the prophetical message he is about to share with the Churches & believers in general, comes from Jesus Christ Himself, given to Him by God, & delivered to John by Jesus' messenger.

Though the statement within it, "which must shortly come to pass" has caused concern amongst some that the events of the Great Tribulation & the Anti-Christ have still not happened after all these centuries, we need to understand this Book as giving a revelation of the condition of the Church in these last days & the increasing deterioration of society leading up to this final judgement. In other words, unlike what the 'prophets of today' tell us, who give us hope that our lives are becoming better & the world is in much better shape, God's Word tells us that ever since Calvary, we have been on the decline, as the Cross has set the demarcation line separating those running to it in faith for salvation & those who violently oppose that Work. Technology & man's knowledge may have increased, giving us a more comfortable lifestyle, but his rejection of God's Love in Jesus, has marked him as very unwise & destitute of the Truth leading him to utter ruin, his judgement & the coming final closure of the age.

I Lost my mother Jessie Bowman due to COVID 19 on March 20th 1 day before for her birthday March 21st. My mother owned a 3 family house I live on the 1st floor my mother lived on the 2nd floor and the 3rd floor was rented out to tenant. i found out that my mother was in a reverse mortgage. I would have to find a way to either pay the loan off which is 500,00 or to sell the property and pay the bank, the problem is that I have a bother who has drug issues, my mother put the property insurance in my name, i got a lawyer and became administrator of her estate, but I don't know what God want me to do, I would love to keep the 3 family house I was raised there since I was 2yrs old and had raised and raising all 6 of my children there. I would also be well with getting my own single family home, I pray I can have both rent out the 3family and to have my own single family home if it is in God will. I feel homeless I feel the bank would just come any day now and throw me and my children out on the street. I'm scared and I've been praying and looking for God to lead and guide me. I'm soo lost and don't know where to turn and look. I need God Grace and Mercy to help me with my situation, don't know where the money going to come from and my credit is not so good either. Asking God to make a break through.

It's my opinion that the reference to plagues in Revelation 15 & 16 cannot be found in the various plagues that have afflicted humans over the ages (& there have certainly been many). Looking at the word in Greek, 'plague' (plege; pr. play-gay), means a 'blow, wound, affliction, plague', & not necessarily as how we understand the word or the inference we place on it.

In Revelation, we are told about the seven angels with their seven vials & that they empty out their vials in succession, causing a great sore on those who received the Mark & worshipped the beast. The succeeding vials contained that which rendered the sea useless for life, then upon the rivers & streams, the constant burning heat of the sun, utter darkness, drying up of the Euphrates to open the way for the eastern nations to move westward, & finally the great earthquake & hailstorm.

I can't correlate any of these occurrences to what has taken place on Earth thus far affecting mankind, as they appear quite distinct in nature & affecting the coming Anti-Christ & those who follow him. And these, by virtue of their description, would indicate that the whole world will be afflicted by these 'plagues', which then gives support that those who have placed their trust in Jesus for salvation will not be around to experience this, which is otherwise called the Wrath of God poured out upon wickedness. Therefore, it's my understanding that the plagues that the world has experienced thus far are those that are part & parcel of the evils that come upon us because we are sinful people living in a sin affected world; but that which is to come will be different & coming in rapid succession as a result of God's Anger against the Devil incarnate & his followers.

When we have vowed a vow to God, it is best not to defer the payment of it; yet better late than never. Jacob commanded his household to prepare, not only for the journey and removal, but for religious services.

PG 1: Hi anonymous, the wages of sin is death, and eternally separated from God: Romans 5:12. Wherefore, as by one man entered the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for all has sinned... Romans 5:19, For by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one "Christ" shall many be made righteous. In Genesis 3:21, God made coats of skins to clothed Adam and Eve, rejecting them attempting to clothed themselves, in which he made an atonement for their transgression pointing to a future sacrifice lamb "Christ" that would take away the sins of the world. In Genesis 12:3, God tells Abraham in him all the families of the earth shall be blessed, In Genesis 15:1-6, God promise Abraham a son "Isaac" through which his seed be called, "AND ABRAHAM BELIEVED" In Genesis 15:8-17 God puts Abraham to sleep to perform an unconditional covenant with him, Which depends on Gods promise not Abraham efforts. In Genesis 16:1-4, Abraham and Sarah decided to assist God in his promise and decided to parent a child through Sarah's handmaid and bared him a son Ismael, Genesis 17:18-21, God rejects Ismael as the covenant child, "Heir" according to the promise.

Paul and his companions traveled throughout the region of Phrygia and Galatia, having been kept by the Holy Spirit from preaching the word in the province of Asia. When they came to the border of Mysia, they tried to enter Bithynia, but the Spirit of Jesus would not allow them to. So they passed by Mysia and went down to Troas. During the night Paul had a vision of a man of Macedonia standing and begging him, 'Come over to Macedonia and help us.' After Paul had seen the vision, we got ready for Macedonia, concluding that God had called us to preach the gospel to them." ( Acts 16:6-10)

"Asia" in the Book of Acts is modern day Turkey or Asia Minor. The cities of Phrygia, Galatia, Mysia, Bithynia and Troas are all in Asia Minor. In the beginning of Acts, chapter 16, Paul was already in "Asia" (Turkey) with the decree from Jerusalem. He had picked up Timothy in Lystra and continued in verse 4 to spread the news in southern Turkey. However, once Paul got to Phrygia (verse 6), the holy spirit kept him from preaching. So Paul and his companions moved on again and again until it was revealed to him in a vision in Troas that he was urgently needed in Macedonia (northern Greece). We believe that this was the main reason God forbade Paul from preaching in Asia Minor. It soon became clear to Paul and his companions that they would not have been where they needed to be had they lingered in Galatia any longer. Therefore, verse 6 is less about God forbidding Paul to preach in Asia and more about Paul's trusting God's divine timing.

I think clearly we are seeing that the Holy Spirit directs our appointments divinely. It was that way then, as it is today in this time. If we pray and submit to evangelizing; the Holy Spirit will lead us to those who are ready to hear.

One plows the fallow ground of our hearts in prayer; another sprinkles the see of Gods Word; next our intercessors rain on the seed with our prayer ministry; the Lord of the Harvest sends reapers (evangelists) to bring in the harvest. This is how Jesus planned it.
