Hi David, I am not sure if you're still around and still trying to figure out the genealogy (since your comments were over 8 years ago) but one thing I have seen is that you do love the Lord and want to know Him a lot more; hence all the questions. The Bible also says no man knoweth the Father, save the Son and whomsoever the Son revealeth Him to. I can't answer the genealogy cause I do think generations are missing myself, for instance Matthew Chapter 1 and Luke Chapter 3 some people were added and some were left out between those 2 accounts. So I thought to myself, I may have to read over the Bible entirely and draw a family tree to figure it out or just wait for the Lord's revelation.

The Heavenly birth is somewhat like the earthy birth but the heavenly birth is in the Spirit th child is the H.G. Thats y jesus said that which is born of the spirit is spirit thats our new innerman the H.G. our fruit unto God .My lil children of whom i travail in birth till Christ is formed in you,the heavenly birth is very much like natural birth but the heavenly birth is when man will birth God via the word/seed.To whom the word ( THAT GOOD SEED ) came it made them GODS. Thats y the sower of the good seed wants to sow his precious seed in our hearts.Being born again of an incorruptible seed.On the cross he was calling for Elijah to come and turn the hearts of fathers to th Children etc GB

We live under the new covenant! Those who believe and have received already the holy spirit are His church who waits for his coming. No one knows that day, not the son, only the Father. Let this mind be in you then that is in Christ, who thought it not robbery to be equal with God. We war not against flesh and blood but spiritual darkness. This wisdom comes from above not beneath. If you are not led by the light of Gods word, than you still live in darkness. We are not justified by the works but by the faith in the of the Son of God. The blood We receive is the communion of his body and blood. Their is no salvation in any other. This would be a good time to read the scripture.

I believe this is in context of Christians being chastised for the wrong doings and it shall be in our bodies upon the earth. Please consider Icor 11:30. This portion is closely related in the context of Pro11:31

Dawn praying for you and your parents. Keep your eyes on God, He's got this, don't lose faith. I used to be a worrier about EVERYTHING, but keeping my mind and eyes on God and His Word has given me peace, I'm on oxygen but have had so much peace. God will never leave you or forsake you. Lean not to your own understanding but in all things acknowledge him and he will direct your path. I also find looking up scripture on what ever I'm going through and reading it and praying, reading it and praying will also be helpful. God bless you and your family and keep the faith. God loves you and is here for you and your family.

I got saved at home. I had a lot of trouble with spiritual issues after salvation. I had the Holy Spirit help me with those first weeks. I started going to church and felt strongly I should ask to be baptized. I needed it for me. Read Acts 19:1-6
People get saved watching church, youtube or Christian broadcasts on tv all the time. Watch some Charles Stanley on Sunday tv.
Take notes. Find a Bible teaching church. That's what I did. My most treasured friend is the Holy Spirit. Learn about Him. Turn off the tv and sit beside your bed and simply talk your heart to Jesus. Nothing will shock him. He already knows everything. :) your relationship will bloom.

Kimora, praying, I heard in a sermon one time to picture what is going on while you are reading and ask God how you can apply it to your life, also pray before you start reading, ask the Holy Spirit to help you keep your mind on the word, I have also heard it said John is a good place to start in the Bible for a new member of Christ. God bless you and keep the faith don't give up and get discouraged, that's exactly what the devil is hoping for. Keep your eyes fixed on God. God bless you.

I am also on medication for depression and anxiety, still fraught with it hard until my family went through trials and I was a hot mess, I turned to prayer and scripture on depression and anxiety and anything else I go through, I would read those scriptures and pray, read them again and pray, it really really does help, even though we are going through this Coronavirus situation I keep my eyes on God and He has given me peace that surpasses all understanding. I have prayed for you and your mother, but I encourage you to go to scripture and prayer, glory be to God in heaven he is the best counselor in the world. God bless you.

Hello, why would you assume the KJV ever said 'skins'? Other translations use that word, but not KJV. KJV has always been 'bottles' and that is proven by looking at a scan of the original printing 400+ years ago which happens to be right here on this site: Link - Usually not a good idea to accuse others of things you haven't fully researched yourself then to ask people you don't know to 'repent' about it already being correct? Have you prayed to God before making these claims? Matthew 7:5

It would pay all of us greatly if we'd meditate psalm 91 until the Holy Spirit revealed to our hearts the true LIFE that's contained within it.

Be careful. We are living in times when our "faith in our leaders/candidates " is being violated. A leader will arise on the scene who will fix a lot of problems and bring peace to our present chaos. Stop looking around at each other and keep your eyes glued to Jesus. Pray to receive the BAPTISM of the Holy Spirit. Jesus sent everyone to the Upper Room On Pentecost to wait for the Holy Spirit.
We're not going to make it if we just sit around and split hairs over scripture. Do a study on how ancient Israelis perform in
war. Look how God weeded out Gideons group. Fighting SPIRITUAL war is the same and different. Get some blood in your eye, get in an intercession prayer group of 2 or 3.

Why have you removed the word "wine skins" and replaced it with "wine bottles"? And would you please return the bible to its original form?. It is not wise to tamper with God's word. Please repent and correct it.

    Thank you.

None of us have the right to tell someone they are going to hell because they are Catholic and they pray to Mary, even though we are to pray to God alone through Jesus Christ. A more proper approach would have been to show them what the Bible teaches about prayer, and who we are to pray to. You asked some great questions, but did you ask them if they ever received Christ and been born of His Spirit? Even though they answered yes to all your questions, belief in itself does not save them. A person must receive Jesus Christ in order to be saved.
Can we tell someone they will end up in hell? Yes! If someone flat out rejects Christ, we have the authority to tell them that will end up in hell.

As the woman called her friends to rejoice with her upon finding the lost piece of silver, so God calls his angels round when one sinner repenteth.
  • Mickey - In Reply on Isaiah 8:18 - 6 years ago
Jesus became the Son of Man when the Holy Spirit overshadowed Mary and conception began. He was Joseph's son as a baby to the community but when he began his ministry, He said he was the son of man.
