  • John on 1 Timothy 2:12 - 11 years ago
Is some scripture to be obeyed literally and other not? If there appears to be a conflict should we not have some criteria which we apply to all. How can one prohibit women from teaching men, but sanction women not wearing head cover, women singing in church, women teaching men in adult "Sunday School ", men wearing caps in an outdoor service is this not the same as in church . How about women teaching christian men at a university, or worse yet a bible college? Paul was against Judaisers who taught obedience to the law, but in deference to custom personally recommended certain rules. He also said that all spiritual gifts were worthless without love. Come, lets show a little consistency and some love.
  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on Matthew 5 - 11 years ago
Hello BSP and Amen Jay Is it persecution to quote scripture? Is it persecution to want to see someone saved? The reason why Jesus Christ came was to seek and to save that which was lost, Luke 19 10 "For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost ". In order for anyone to be saved during this Grace Age is to follow Acts 2 38. Jesus Christ said it, Peter clarified it on the day of Pentecost, the Apostles carried it out, and it is still being carried out today.
  • Dennis on Deuteronomy 12 - 11 years ago
It is in this chapter where the REGULATIVE PRINCIPLE is taught. Only God Himself has the right to say how He is to be worshipped. Much of that which goes on in modern evangelicalism does not meet the criteria, is this biblical? If the church of the New Testament didn 't practice something neither should we. If they did, so should we. Our worship must be "regulated " by Scripture or it doesn 't please God. John 4 23 24
  • Mark on John 1 - 11 years ago
what reason is the thousand years? maybe it is for to teach us how to be accepted into the kingdom of Christ, maybe it is for all those who will not accept the holy ghost and to teach them to do so. Why do we have a thousand years before we enter into the kingdom of christ
  • Mark on John 1 - 11 years ago
could it be possible that many without the holy ghost make the rapture? I tend to think yes, I think the thousand years is for Jesus to teach us before we enter into the kingdom of heaven
  • Word on Revelation 13 - 11 years ago
Evangelist God doesn 't write like your trying to make us believe. He takes a subject like His return and put it in 3 Gospels and Paul taught it in 2 Thessalonians 2 always giving us a second witness with just about as many chapters on the same subject making sure we understand it but you are trying to tell us with a few pulled verses out of scriptures spread a part in the New Testament that have a completely different subject matter spoken of and most of the time what you say it is isn 't that at all. Just you quoting verses but have no meaning to the subject you say? I found something in Ezekiel 13 where God writes a whole chapter on how much He hates the teachers that teach His children to fly to save their souls.
  • Deast on Leviticus 19:28 - 11 years ago
God created us in His image. He might not recognize us when he returns for his children. I don 't like tatoos, but were we created with makeup, short hair, jewlery, etc. We are all in a sinful world in need of repentance, but Gods Grace is sufficient. Do you eat shrimp? lobster, catfish? God forbid some of those things in His Wor. d, but it was because they weren 't good for your body. Jesus paid the price for our sins, and we do sin every day. Why do we do the things we would not, and not do the things we should. We need forgiveness every day. Pray God 's guidence in all you do, and IF you feel convicted of anything, just don 't do it again. The Holy Spirit convicts us, and we shouldn 't do it.God is a merciful God and forgives our sins. He paid the price, and said, IT IS FINISHED!!!

  • Dick Nickelson on Luke 2:11 - 11 years ago
Even the Bible refers to the babe as Christ, but Christ was not meant to be used as a noun, it was a word roughly translated to mean The chosen one, or The annointed one. ' ' We were taught as children that ALL characters in the Bible had only one name, but carried a description of where they hailed from, eg Jesus of Nazareth, but Jesus was also called Jesus Christ, meaning, Jesus the anointed one, or Jesus the chosen one. So why is it that some use the title Christ as a noun?
  • Tochi on Isaiah 34 - 11 years ago

  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on John 1 - 11 years ago
Hello Mark It is not by chance that I am here on this website. Mark just know that I am merely a servant of God. Like the Apostles I carry the message of Acts 2 38. Ask yourself this question where do I want to spend eternity, heaven or hell?
  • Ryan on Prayer of Azariah 1:66 - 11 years ago

  • Andrew Tsai on Isaiah 14 - 11 years ago
The chapter speaks of a past but is also a future event. It speaks of the rulers of the world who are they? And interjected at the middle is the fall of Lucifer, not insignificant, for we know the real rulers are Lucifer worshipper. Many that say the are Jews are not Jews. God will liberate the real Jews from "rulers ".
  • Sonny on Acts 2:2 - 11 years ago
So what do I think? Was there really a great "physical " wind the literally blew through the room turning over plates, bowls maybe tables? Did it blow curtains and clothing? Did it mess up the women 's hair? Well, maybe. But really I think vs 2 captures an idea of the force of the Holy Spirit. The cleansing of all unrighteousness that may have previously inhabited that area even though they were disciples. When the Holy Spirit moves, there is no room for the demonic. I think it also represents the fact that the Holy Spirit it just that, our Holy "Spirit ". The binding Spirit of the Trinity that also binds us together with Jesus as He is bound to our Father. It is the picture of the force of the Spiritual wind cleansing the air, bringing in the Power of the gifts of the Spirit and yet the coolness of a peaceful breeze that follows as we rest in His wings. John 3 3 talks of how we can hear the wind but have no idea where it comes from or where its going, we just no that it is. This too is our call in believing the movement of the Holy Spirit. We can feel Him, hear Him and be directed by Him even though we cannot see Him. Nor do we know where He has just come from or where we are going at that minute, we still know that He is there. Not just with power, but with peace.
  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on Acts 2 - 11 years ago
Part 1 of 3 Hello Jerry M. Leonard I do not understand what you are talking about blood, fire, and vapor? There is no blood mentioned in the description of the Holy Ghost fallen that day. Not unless I missed something. It states like as of fire. This does not mean that it was a consuming fire like during the tribulation. The fire in the tribulation will destroy both heaven and earth. The scripture does not say that the Holy Ghost was vapor. It states that a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind and it filled all house where they were sitting. You can see vapor, like steam. You cannot see wind unless it is moving trees, dust, or debris.
  • Word on Revelation 14 - 11 years ago
Insight 777 how the Evangelist came to the conclusion that 1 Thessalonians 5 vs 9 and 10 has in any part of keeping a section of the children of God out of the tribulation to rapture someplace? NOT! Those verses are for the watchmen..saints.. elect to always be on guard and sober. Chapter 5 is Speaking of keeping the gospel armor on to be prepared for battle against anti Christ because God did not appoint them to wrath but to obtain salvation with Christ. They have already been chosen as spoken of in Ephesians chapter one and predestine and chosen before the foundation of this earth age of salvation. You can say the saints have already been judged and their job is to stand against Satan at the end of this earth age. Preachers pull verses and twist the word watch out.
  • Ron on Revelation 9:6 - 11 years ago
So is this torment from God to punish the people or to convert them or what is the purpose? Obviously there are those that will not be harmed by the locust, but those that are harmed should accept Jesus? I 'm trying to understand the purpose of the suffering?
  • Word on Revelation 12 - 11 years ago
As you see in 7 and 8 Michael kicks Satan out and 9 to earth. What will Satan do? Deceives the whole world! And what is the deception? satan looks like the Lamb of God and he has powers but he speaks like the dragon. Instead of Christ coming as Christ but it 's the dragon. We know he makes fools out of the world and that 's them who are deceived. I would say rapture chickens first cause they look for the easy way already. The the Muslims cause antichrist can bring lighting down and they love power. All the religions that beg on t.v. Will fall for him cause he wants to pay their bills.
  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on Revelation 1 - 11 years ago
Hello Richard boti When you read also verse 8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. You have to ask yourself who is to come? The answer is Jesus Christ who is God manifested in the flesh. He is the beginning and the ending. He is the Alpha and Omega. Jesus Christ is God all by himself.
  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on Acts 2 - 11 years ago
Part 1 of 2 Hello Jerry M. Leonard If the Gentiles were not to be saved then or now why would God make it a point for the writer to write the experience of Cornelius and his house having received the Holy Ghost like Peter and them on the day of Pentecost? Paul even stated he is the Gentiles Apostle, 2 Timothy 1 11. We follow and read his teachings. He baptized and laid hands on 12 men Acts 19 1 thru 7. He also told the Corinthian church, 1 Corinthians 14 39 Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues.
  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on Luke 3 - 11 years ago
Part 1 of 3 Hello Larry, Dan, and Joseph Jesus Christ did have brothers and sisters. Acts 1 14 All these continued together in prayer with one mind, together with the women, along with Mary the mother of Jesus, and his brothers . 1 Corinthians 9 5 Do we not have the right to the company of a believing wife, like the other apostles and the Lord s brothers and Cephas? Galatians 1 19 But I saw none of the other apostles except James the Lord s brother. Mark 6 3 Isn t this the carpenter, the son of Mary and brother of James, Joses, Judas, and Simon? And aren t his sisters here with us? And so they took offense at him.
  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on Genesis 1 - 11 years ago

  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on John 1 - 11 years ago
Hello Mark Jesus Christ is God manifested in the flesh, 1 Timothy 3 16. Whether you believe it or not it still will not change the truth. It still does not change what it takes to be saved. It still does not stop the rapture or the tribulation from coming. My advice to you and to everyone that is not saved according to Acts 2 38 get saved and stay saved. You have to ask yourself this question, "Do I want to spend an eternity in Heaven or in Hell?

The issue of consulting a prophet in this case, reminds us of how important these Great Man of God are,and we surely must emulate the same. There is a great number of such great Man of God in our midst today, are we listening to the msgs they give us always? No we re insteady found wanting as we tend to persecute them with insults and blasphemy. Saints let us heed to the calling of God and remain blameproof as we tarry on steadfastly and immovable. God Bless.
  • Mark on John 1 - 11 years ago
Would it be correct to say that remission is not the same as forgiveness? Remission by definition is to stop, arrest, we hear all the time that cancer is in remission. To be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ would be to stop the sin, Repent by definition is to turn away, We have John saying repent which is turn away, We have Peter saying to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for remission of sin, both of which is referring to turn away and stop sin.
  • Tony on Matthew 6:10 - 11 years ago
