God makes a distinction between sins worthy of death and sins not worthy of death.
Deuteronomy 21:18-22
18 If a man have a stubborn and rebellious son, which will not obey the voice of his father, or the voice of his mother, and that, when they have chastened him, will not hearken unto them:
19 Then shall his father and his mother lay hold on him, and bring him out unto the elders of his city, and unto the gate of his place;
20 And they shall say unto the elders of his city, This our son is stubborn and rebellious, he will not obey our voice; he is a glutton, and a drunkard.
21 And all the men of his city shall stone him with stones, that he die: so shalt thou put evil away from among you; and all Israel shall hear, and fear.
22 And if a man have committed a sin worthy of death, and he be to be put to death, and thou hang him on a tree:
23 His body shall not remain all night upon the tree, but thou shalt in any wise bury him that day; (for he that is hanged is accursed of God;) that thy land be not defiled, which the Lord thy God giveth thee for an inheritance.
An heifer is a young cow, under a year old. And it mustn't have produced a calf, even though it might be capable of doing so from about a year old onwards.
It's more a question.. aren't we to love those that spitefully use us? Pray for the sick , or that the lost soul will be saved? Win souls? Therefore winning alcoholics and even drug users ect?
Verse 21~A stubborn and unrepentant child brought shame to his parents and if they continually tried to help him, but he refused to change, he was stoned.
16 Then it shall be, when he maketh his sons to inherit that which he hath, that he may not make the son of the beloved firstborn before the son of the hated, which is indeed the firstborn: Rightfully Ishmael was the first born from mans choice but GOD said Sarah's womb, wife. GOD's word that is true.
"This our son is stubborn and rebellious, he will not obey our voice; he is a glutton, and a drunkard. And all the men of his city shall stone him with stones, that he die: so shalt thou put evil away from among you.." This was written to put us in fear of God's judgment; SO THAT WE NOT TO DO SUCH KINDS OF EVIL! IT IS NOT FOR US TO WIELD A ROD OF CRUELTY, BUT FOR TEACHING THE SERIOUSNESS OF SIN!
This is for the understanding of siblings and reproduction. If a man has two wives and has children with both wives, the genealogy of the children are all of the same sperm and D.N.A., therefore the children are full brothers sisters although they have different mothers. If a woman has two children and each child has a different father, then you have two different bloodlines which means half.
I can see that Polygamy is not prohibited in the Bible. You can still have more than one wife. Or if there is any verse that states categorically and is referring to the generality of human being, then let me know.
The son of the hated wife will always wage war with the other step brothers and sisters; it won't be easy to pull them together. In one way or the other, the beloved wife shall not have peace.
