Discuss Genesis 3 Page 10

Next, I want to comment about what God said to the serpent. I am so glad that God made it clear to Adam and Eve that this flashy, fancy-dancy serpent is not a friend of God or mankind. He let them know that the devil is our enemy and should never be trusted. God let Adam and Eve know that the devil answers to God, not the other way around and that God is more powerful and has more authority than the devil. Those are excellent things to know! God could have spoken to Adam and Eve without the serpent being present and visa-versa. But God wanted both parties to hear what he had to say and what judgements He pronounced for each party. There was so much for Adam and Eve to learn about both God and the devil. It was truly good for them to learn this right away after their first sin of disobedience.

I have always been touched by the story of Joseph and how after it was coming to fruition, Joseph said that what was intended to him for evil, God turned into good to him (paraphrase). Isn't that what happened here in Eden, too? I think this is part of the reason God put so much information in the Bible about certain people and the right and wrong they did in order for those people and us can learn about how He works all things for good to those who love Him and are called by His purpose. ( Romans 8:28) He loves us and nothing can separate us from His love!

Lastly, I have often thought how amazing the cherubim and sword must have looked that guarded the entrance to Eden. Adam and Eve must have been amazed by its beauty and also a bit terrified at the same time. Can we even imagine the outstanding, extraordinariness of heavenly creatures! They rightly put Satan and all fallen angels to shame! No wonder the prophets had such strong physical reactions to the visions God brought to them. Our flesh can barely stand the holy. Not even Moses was allowed to see God's face on Sinai, but He did experience God's glory. Wow! Life changing!

So much to consider in this chapter!

I have often wondered how many days had Adam and Eve walked in the Garden with the Lord? was it just a few times or long enough for Adam and Eve to develop a relationship with God that was precious to them. Did they look forward to this meeting each day and talk to each other about the last morning or evening's meeting with the Lord? Did their hearts burn within them as was the case with the disciples on the road to Emmaus after Jesus was resurrected? How blissful this must have been! What did God speak to them when they met with Him in the garden in the cool of the day? How much did they know about God's perfections through these meetings?

Lot's of questions that the text does not give us answers to, so we have to accept that we do not know.

Even so, those who think God is a far off God, these meetings show that He desired close fellowship with us from the very beginning. Through Jesus we have a way to have fellowship with our great God anytime we wish. What a privilege we do not deserve!

God could have cursed Adam and Eve so much more than what He did. They experienced His mercy instead of wrath. Being expelled from the garden and not able to return must have been heartbreaking. Yet, they would discover that the world God made is still extraordinarily beautiful, but not as pristine as the garden. What grace!

Adam was made to labor in the major task God had designed for him. Work the land to provide sustenance. Eve was made to labor in the major task God had designed for her, to give birth to living humans to nurture. Perhaps in God's mercy and wisdom, He gave such curses to teach mankind to value what they labor to produce for the good of their family. I am not talking about loving material things, but enjoying the fruits of your own labors, whether humble or grand, being thankful to God for not having the laboring be detrimental, but helpful and healthy as well as being grateful to what these labors produce.

As I continue to read in chapter 3, I ponder the nakedness of Adam and Eve. Was it the exposure of their private parts that made them ashamed or was it the loss of shining light of holiness that made them notice that they now looked different? Was knowing that they had lost the shining light of holiness cause them to realize that they had broken fellowship with God and were ashamed for God to see them diminished (as they may have viewed it since they did not know before this what sin was)? Some say their bodies were translucent and glowed with holy light. Maybe. I think there definitely was a change in their appearance to each other. They knew something had changed and not for the good. There is nothing wrong with being naked, but there is something wrong with losing one's holiness. They would have noticed this.

So glad that God sought them out as they hid from Him. he knew exactly where they were and what had happened. He gave them an opportunity to come "clean" with Him. They had tried to cover their sin by fig leaves. He had to ask them "Who told you you were naked?"

They immediately began the blame game, not taking responsibility for their individual choices.

I don't think they understood the depth of what they lost in their disobedience, they did know that their disobedience changed them in a negative way. They didn't even know what death was yet. They would eventually see what it is when Cain kills Abel and Abel is not with them anymore, no longer alive. Perhaps going through all of this and receiving mercy from God may have made Adam and Eve more adamant about believing in God and preaching about Him for 900+ years. Cain and Abel learned something about sacrificing to God from them.

Adam and Eve alone knew what it meant to lose holy perfection. No one else in all of mankind ever experiences this. Thus the lesson for them and all of us to seek God and His righteousness. Here at the very beginning, God allows this so that no man can boast but in Christ Jesus!

On to chapter 3! Can't even count how many times I have read Genesis in my lifetime!

Reading the comments, I must pose my position on whether Cain was Adam's son or the serpent's. Adam's Son.

I don't think that anything sexual happened between Eve and the serpent. I strongly really doubt that God would allow the first sexual experience of Eve would be with anyone but her husband, Adam, nor any after that. God allowed Satan to tempt Eve and present a distortion of what God had said about eating the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good an evil. The text does not say that God allowed Satan to touch Eve or Adam physically.

I tend to think of Satan's appearance in the garden as being a very beautiful dragon (often referred to as a serpent elsewhere in Scripture). Eve would not have been suspect of him by looking at him. I don't think that the tree was Satan because it was the knowledge of both good an evil. At this time, Satan had nothing good in him, although he knew what God says is good and what is evil. The text does not say anywhere that the tree was evil. The evil was in the serpent and disobeying God's good command and eating the fruit and believing the tempter over God. The tree was morally neutral but necessary in God's eternal plan. It's presence and God's command allows for the fall of man. This then creates the need for redemption by God in Christ for mankind, through whom the devil and all of his evil works will be crushed and destroyed at the fulfillment of time in both the first and second advent of Jesus, our Messiah.

With Adam and Eve's sin, the sinful nature entered the gene pool of humanity. Cain and Abel were both sinners. We don't know what happened in Cain's heart and what sinful choices made him stray farther from God than Abel. But we can deduce that Abel was more humble and repentant than Cain. Perhaps Satan tempted Cain more seeing that Cain was more readily manipulated by his schemes. God permitted this for a greater purpose.

    Hi Brother Earl.

Can we grieve the Holyspirit? If so what causes this, Isn't it Mans free will by obeying the opposition?

    Just a thought.

    God bless.
  • Adam - In Reply on Genesis 3 - 3 years ago
    Hi Earl,

I don't understand your definition of the word then. To help me understand, did you choose to type a response to me or did something force you to do that beyond your will? It sounds like you don't believe you have some kind of freedom to do what you want, but I can't relate to that, because I have complete freedom and that can be used for good or evil. I'm typing a response to you willingly because I choose to. Maybe you're not? If you feel like you're being controlled by another force against your will then there's probably nothing left to discuss on the topic, as I just can't relate and is hard to believe it.

  • How Satan Tries to Twist Geneology; one of his weapons - In Reply on Genesis 3 - 3 years ago
    TWO Enochs in the Bible

Enoch (Hebrew: meaning "initiated") is a name in the Hebrew Bible used by two separate figures who lived during the generation of Adam.

The first Enoch was the SON OF CAIN.

He is the father of Irad. After Cain arrived in the Land of Nod, to which he was evicted by the Lord as his punishment for murdering his brother Abel. His wife became pregnant and bore Cain's first child, whom he named Enoch.

The SECOND Enoch was a descendant of SETH, the third son of Adam, and great-grandfather of NOAH ( Genesis 5:22-29). SETH is the bloodline of Jesus Christ ancestors and Must Not be Confused with Cains ancestor.

First Book of Enoch was at first accepted in the Christian Church but later excluded from the biblical canon. Its survival is due to the fascination of marginal and heretical Christian groups, such as the Manichaeans, with its syncretic blending of Iranian, Greek, Chaldean, and Egyptian elements.

Justin, Athenagoras, Irenaeus, Clemens Alexandrinus, Lactantius, and others borrowed an opinion out of this Book of Enoch, that the angels had connection with the daughters of men, of whom they had offspring (Nephilim: 'the giants of the past'). Tertullian, in several places, speaks of this book with esteem; and would persuade us, that it was preserved by Noah during the deluge. The Book of Enoch, however, was rejected by Origen, Jerome and Augustin as spurious.

    [newworldencyclopedia DOT ORG]

Mishael comment: there is Much confusion as to the First Enoch, son of CAIN (who was cursed by God), in Genesis.

Satan seeks to confuse people by causing those who are following to use THE BLOODLINE NAMES of Jesus's Geneology twice.

It helps to find charts made by reputable ministers on Google and compare carefully to the KJV record. Often charts will be disputed by those who dispute the person and Holy Lord Jesus. It all originated in Genesis.

Stay on task and don't incorporate heresy.

Thank you brother for those comments. I will leave off the matter of appearance of the evil spirit impersonating Samuel & the witch's response, or else that not being the case, it depends how one reads & comprehends that passage. Your view does have merit & worthy of further examination in light of other Scriptures.

However, you wrote: "the enemy knows what was already spoken by the true God". That is true & even as we earlier referred to Genesis 3:1-4. But the point I raised was, can devils know what has NOT been earlier spoken by God? In other words, is the spirit of prophecy with both the Holy Spirit & evil spirits? As far as I know, the fact of Saul's & his son's death happening on the following day - the fact of the army of Israel losing the battle to the Philistines are all unknown facts (though possible in Saul's mind), that are apparently well known to this 'evil spirit' impersonating Samuel. That is what I cannot fathom - it's not just a case of truth mixed with lies - here we have a prophetical utterance of what is yet to happen, that was undeclared earlier by God to any prophet.

Brother Adam, maybe our definition of FREE WILL differ. FREE would dictate that; that WILL, would have no CAUSE making it occur other than yourself.

Man makes CHOICES thousands or time a day; but those CHOICES have a CAUSE:

Philippians 2:13 For it is God that worketh in you TO WILL and TO DO ....

They is never an effect without there first being a CAUSE.

God is sovereign and the CAUSE of everything.

Romans 2:4 Man repents be CAUSE of the goodness of God

Philippians 1:29 You BELIEVE be CAUSE Christ CAUSES you to believe.

Galatians 1:20 You have faith be CAUSE Christ GIVES you HIS faith.

John 6:44 No one comes to Christ with a CAUSE, the Father draws that person to Christ.

God CAUSES and DOES everything, man is the benefactor of CAUSES of GOD.

Colossians 1:17 ...and by him all thing consist.... even you CHOICES.

John 15:5 ...you can of yourself DO NOTHING...

    Hi Earl,

It sounds like your argument is based on an assumption.

"If man has FREEWILL, why does man ALWAYS chose EVIL, why wouldn't at least a FEW men choose to never sin. If they have FREEWILL."

To challenge this assumption, I may ask why you assume a 'few' wouldn't sin and where would this expectation come from? I don't have this expectation that flawed humans can be perfect, so I wonder why you assume freewill would make such a feat possible?

Is it possible that you're conflating freedom of choice with supernatural powers? Perhaps thinking freewill is more than just a choice, but like a free wish from God?

I may 'choose' to be the tallest man in the world, but that doesn't mean I will be. Our choices only occur within our own reality. I can wish to be in Hawaii right now, but that's different than me choosing and making subsequent plans to actually go there. Our freewill doesn't mean we can transcend reality and have magical powers, so I don't think freewill helps someone be perfect. It's closer to the opposite. If we were robots we'd have no choice and would likely operate morally perfect as designed. God hates sin and doesn't make anyone sin, but if you don't have any freewill you would have to explain that contradiction. But since we do have freewill, it's not a contradiction. With freewill we're tempted every day nearly 24/7 and face constant moral choices throughout our lives and it seems unrealistic to assume that an imperfect human can somehow choose to be perfect.

Did I understand your question correctly and does anything I wrote resonate?
  • Earl Bowman - In Reply on Genesis 3 - 3 years ago
Brother Adam, If man has FREEWILL, why does man ALWAYS chose EVIL, why wouldn't at least a FEW men choose to never sin. If they have FREEWILL.

But, that would make this scripture a LIE:

Philippians 2:13 For it is God that WORKETH IN YOU both TO WILL and TO DO ....

Jeremiah 13:23 Can the Ethiopian change his skin (No), can a leopard change his spots? (No) then may you also do good, (No) that are accustomed TO DO evil.

Romans 8:20 For the creature itself was made SUBJECT TO VANITY, not willingly ....
  • Adam - In Reply on Genesis 3 - 3 years ago
Evil is disobeying and rebelling against God. God loved everyone enough to give everyone freewill to choose right from wrong. Think of how people would complain if they were robots without choices. Well, they aren't and not they complain when they choose evil. But most people usually only complain about the evil done to them, not the evil they do to others. They still want the freedom to commit evil which negatively impacts others. Interesting how this works.

Angels in heaven had freewill, which is why satan was banished. Adam and Eve had everything perfect but also chose evil. Evil exists because people keep choosing it willingly, and God loved them enough to allow them that choice.

To my knowledge the book of Enoch was never included in the KJV since it was only found in the 50s with the death sea scrolls. There are ample mentions of him and his writing throughout the bible though, especially the new testament.

Genesis 5:18-24. And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him. This and his for the times below average lifespan of three hundred sixty and five years, everyone living about 700-1000 years in those days, mean to me that his life wasn't ended because of death, but because, as it says, God took him after Enoch walking with him, which is perfectly described in the book of Enoch.

Hebrews 11:4-5. 5 makes mention of Enoch, whom by faith was "translated". I interpret this word as him being taken by God, since he was not found due to God having translated him. For before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God, so it says, and this testimony is likely to be his writing. 4 makes mention of Abel speaking even after death, which to my knowledge isn't really explained anywhere else in the bible but is perfectly made sense of in Enoch, where he looks into the depths of the Sheol only to find Abel claiming vengeance for the murdering of him (if someone knows of any passage of the bible which also mentions this I'd be very happy to know).

Lastly, Jude 1:14-15. Must I say any more?

I don't know much about other Apocrypha. I know, superficially, for example, that the deuterocanonical books were instilled by the catholic church and are quite contradictory with the rest of the bible, for the reasons this very same website mentions in its page about the apocrypha. I haven't read them though, so I couldn't know. I recommend the book of Enoch because sufficient mention is made of him to prove its veracity, and that it satisfies the curiosity of us creationists while also explaining, as I said, the nature of malevolence, the giants, of whom David fought one, the Lords cosmology and creation, etc.
  • Chris - In Reply on 1 Thessalonians 4:17 - 3 years ago
Thank you Rick. As I mentioned earlier, I am totally unfamiliar with such manifestations except what we read in the Word. In the case of the witch of Endor, the first clue I gained was the utter surprise of the witch when a spirit (of Samuel) appeared instead of what was the usual appearances of evil spirit manifestations ( 1 Samuel 28:12). Would a necromancer be shocked at an appearance of one that was not what she was familiar with? Maybe these spirits appear in a special way or form that wouldn't surprise or affright her, but it seems that this was not the case with Samuel.

And secondly, if it was an evil spirit, how did it know (or, prophesy) of an occurrence that was not known earlier ( 1 Samuel 28:19, "to morrow shalt thou and thy sons be with me: the LORD also shall deliver the host of Israel into the hand of the Philistines")? I understand what you wrote, that even the devils can know this, when you wrote about the adversary the father of lies, "Remember in Genesis thou shalt not die", referring to Genesis 3:4. Yet, Satan there could only say that because God had already told Adam that. Could Satan prophesy of coming events, whether of Israel, the nations or the future of the world?

I do thank you for your explanation brother & it was certainly worth considering, but there are still a couple of these hurdles I need to get over to be fully persuaded - if you or someone can provide some Scripture to show that even Satan & his devils can foretell future events without those events already declared by God prophetically, I would be grateful.

We were taught NOT to read the Apocrypha. I knew about the missing books. I was never taught as to why the books were taken out the KJV. Now that I am an adult I took the time to find answers as to why. Also, to find the names of the books. I was told seven. I found fourteen along with the Dead Sea Scrolls info. The same one's the took out the books also were going to add five books that are in the KJV. They changed their minds I guess. In my studies I found a lot of ugly things that took place concerning The Bible. In the books of The Apocrypha I found answers to the books that were Canonized. Who gave them the authority to take anything out of BIBLE. At the end of Revelation it clearly states NOT TO ADD OR TAKE AWAY FROM THIS BOOK....
  • Chris - In Reply on Genesis 3 - 3 years ago
Perhaps you would find some of the answers you seek in the books of Enoch, such as the nature of evil, or the humanoid beings which have animalesque features to them that were portrayed in ancient religions and whose discovery nowadays is hidden from the public. I recommend you read it.

    Hi Brother Ronald.

You are right, there is so much that is not given in scripture so most is conjectural.

I also believe Adam lived in a different environment for lack of better terms, "Before sin entered the world."

A big question that troubles me is the word naked. It seems it carries more of a spiritual meaning than nudity often in scripture.

I believe often it's the opposite of being clothed with righteousness in a way mentioned here in Isaiah 61:10-11.

The question is was Adam and Eve naked spiritually before eating of the tree of "knowledge of good and evil and perhaps they were clothed in a way mentioned in Ezekiel 16:7-15. We know good and evil existed long before Adam. "But they had no knowledge of it until they ate if the fruit. Look at Genesis 3:17. in that context, ( AND THE EYES OF THEM BOTH WERE OPENED,)....( and they knew that they were naked;...) and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.

I believe as you do Adam and Jesus Christ is all part of Gods plan that was before this world and I feel it involves Satan because this plan, that was before this world, included the lake of fire that was prepared for the devil and his angels.

I believe in the Gap theory, Not as some do and try to fit the Dinosaurs into that gap or any other life existence that we know of, I believe they were all created in the Genesis account. I believe Lucifer may possibly have had a dominion here on earth in that Gap.

Here's why. Ezekiel 28:13. ( Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; ) every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.

The account in Genesis Lucifer has already fallen, He's not adorned as mentioned in Ezekiel 28. " I believe this fallen mentioned here is positionally. and. "Down to Earth."

    until next time.

    GBU.

    Part two

I know the first Adam could not bring eternal life but I feel the first Adam was the start of the plan of salvation, and the undoing of Satan. and the penalty of it was death, that was eternal death, and the first sacrifice for sin that God covered Adam and Eve with skins of innocent animals, as you said a picture of what His Son would do for us. The first Adam initiated the purpose for the last Adam Jesus Christ and the defeat of Satan.

I was relating to the conscience before, the word naked in Genesis 2:25 is a word arom that means just what is says unclothed. They were innocent or we could say ignorant to nudity until they ate of the tree and they knew they were nude, their eyes were opened, their conscience filled with shame and fear of judgment, that is why they tried to hide. The word in Genesis 3:7 -rum-mim is a different word meaning nakedness with shame. I feel when God said, "where art thou" is like a father calling out to a child he knew where he was but to see if he would show himself.

Adam was afraid for his disobedience, it is like a thief that heard a siren, he runs to hide to avoid the punishment. Lord God YHVH Elohim instead of God Elohim the name used from Genesis 1, until after day seven Genesis 2:4? Elohim supreme one or mighty one the creator, in chapter 1 God only created without any reaction with what He had created. YHVH Elohim Master, communicator, He started communicating with Adam as a Father would a son.

Not all was written, like with Cain and Abel, Abel brought of the sheep he kept and Cain brought of the plants of the field. Abel brought of the firstlings, but it does not say Cain brought of the first fruits. It is not written so; do we assume because Cain did not bring a blood sacrifice is why his was rejected? According to Genesis 1 they were to eat plants?

I have enjoyed this, and will continue studying, may we always walk in the Spirit of truth.

    God bless,

    Part 2. Genesis 2:25.

Lets look at Genesis 2:17. But of the tree of the (knowledge of good and evil,) thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

Let's take Genesis 3:7-11. ( And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked;) and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.

Verse 9: And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, ( Where art thou?)

Here in verse 9. I don't think God is speaking of their location, I think He is speaking of their condition.

"No one can hide from God."

And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and ( I was afraid, because I was naked;) and I hid myself.

" It's Interesting Adam is afraid because he was naked, rather than his disobedience."

Verse 11. And he said, ( Who told thee that thou wast naked? ) Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?

Genesis 3:22. And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:

It seems the text goes a little further than just their disobedience, There's a lot of emphasis on being Naked and knowing it. Sinful flesh exposed Maybe? The consequence of knowing is where the threat lies! Why? Perhaps so they want attempt to cover themselves when Christ was ordained to come into the world before the world began. The blood of Christ was to be their covering. That's why I hold the view God provided them covering from a blood shed sacrifice pointing to Christ.

Gen. 3:21. Unto Adam also and to his wife did the "LORD God" make coats of skins, and clothed them.

Have you noticed verse 21 "LORD" God is used? The covenant name, This where the sacrifices started and the sacrifices pointing to Christ. It was taught to Cain and Abel. Only after the resurrection GOD spirit would Dwell "IN" man.

    Hebrews 10:14-20.

    God bless.

We are not given a description of the tree and it is most certainly not any tree that exists today. It is traditionally depicted as an apple tree.

It was a Fig tree. It was the closest to Adam and Eve. Genesis 3:7. And the eyes of them both were opened, thy sewed fig leaves together, and made them selves.

Hello Prasanth. The question you ask is a valid one & because the Scriptures are not entirely clear on all the events pertaining to Satan's origin & despatch, we can only formulate an opinion based on what the Scriptures do reveal. Therefore, we can get many opinions on this, even yours could be valid. So, as you've asked the question, let me give you my understanding using a timeline.

    a. When God created all things in Heaven (He Himself being un-created), all heavenly beings, etc. were created in eternity past. This was before the creation of the worlds, of man & of other things for the Earth. In Heaven, God created beings such as cherubs, seraphs, beasts, etc., which all had a particular function before God & which constantly worshipped Him ( Ezekiel 10:1-22; Isaiah 6:1-8).

    b. One cherub, which was "perfect in thy ways from the day thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee" ( Ezekiel 28:15), is reference to the one the Bible calls, Lucifer ( Isaiah 14:12). Although, the Ezekiel reference is directly to the King of Tyrus, the wording suggests that the spirit within the king is being addressed & described. Lucifer desired to sit in God's place ( Isaiah 14:12-14), therefore he was cast out of Heaven onto the Earth.

    c. And Lucifer, also called Satan (in Book of Job), was there in readiness to deform God's perfect creation (man & woman) in the Garden of Eden, that they too might become like him, filled with evil & opposing God & all that is righteous & holy ( Genesis 3:1-19).

    d. Though Satan was cast to the Earth, he still has access to Heaven, even as he presented himself to God with the other angels ( Job 1:6,7) to accuse Job (even as he does us: Revelation 12:10). Satan is not chained or confined to Hell now - he roams freely to deceive the nations ( Revelation 20:3) & will make his final thrust through the coming Anti-Christ, the personification of Satan, just as King Tyrus was. But he will one day be locked up for good ( Revelation 20:7-10).

Sister Glenda, may CHRIST IN US grace us with HIS wisdom and HIS understanding.

Age is in YOUR favour; because, you can look back at more experiences of LIFE, than your daughter.

The SPIRIT has CAUSED you (through the CHOICES he CAUSED you to make) to have those experiences of LIFE (good and evil) because it is necessary to become like God. ( Genesis 3:22)

God KNOWS how to USE EVIL for GOOD.

God CAUSED Joseph to have a silly little dream and to tell his brothers about that dream.

God CAUSED his brothers to be envious and hate Joseph.

God CAUSED his brothers to rise up and do EVIL against their brother Joseph.

But look what THE WORD SAYS:

Genesis 50:19 And Joseph said unto them, Fear not, for I am in the place of God (where God purposed him to be).

Genesis 50:20 But as FOR YOU, you thought EVIL against me, but God meant (caused) it (evil) unto GOOD, to bring to pass, as it is this day, TO SAVE MUCH PEOPLE ALIVE.

God is STILL DOING this TODAY; Man just does't BELIEVE IT.

Did Judas have a Choice outside of what God had purposed him TO DO.( Zechariah 11:12)

Did Peter have a Choice outside of what God had purposed him TO DO (deny Jesus and flee)( Zechariah 13:7).

Did Pharaoh have a Choice outside of what God had purposed Him TO DO ( Romans 9:17).

Did David have a Choice outside of what God purposed him TO DO.

2 Samuel 24:1 And AGAIN the anger of the Lord was kindled against Israel, and he MOVED (CAUSED) David against them, to say, Go, number Israel and Judah.

God PURPOSED that you are going to become the IMAGE of HIM ( Romans 8:29)( 1 Corinthians 15:49), Do you think you have a CHOICE outside of what he has purpose you TO DO.

Ezekiel 36:27 And I will put my Spirit in you, and CAUSE you to walk in my statues (good or evil), and you shall keep my judgements, and DO THEM.

God's WAY is not man's WAY.

According to Genesis 3:22-24, I would say that God spoke to neither of them about not eating from the Tree of Life. Because they disobeyed God by eating from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good & Evil, God drove them out of Eden & set guards against the Tree of Life.

Daniel 7:9 says "thrones were cast down" , if we were to consider this meaning, seats were set up. Seats for both Old and New Testament believers whom overcame forces of evil, kingdoms of the world, and understood and were kept spiritually safe in the church in the wilderness. True authority has one Throne and only one seated at the Throne. Lightenings and thunderings are the powers of God. How close can saved men be to this Throne, the Throne of Righteousness? As close as the New Covenant the rainbow. This rainbow is the hope and peace between God and saved men.The sea of glass is ahead of the Throne. The redeemed could stand on this sea of glass because their sins were now transparent. The light of God could pass through them completely because of the one seated at the Throne. The twenty-four elders fall down to worship him that sat on the throne. Living representations (beasts) of all of creation witness with the elders to the Truth upon the Throne as their creator too in their continued and everlasting worship saying, "Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come". The connection to the Cherubims of Genesis 3:24 which were living creatures to Ezekiel 10:20 "This is the living creature that I saw under the God of Israel by the river Chebar; and I knew that they were the cherubims." This chapter of Ezekiel helps to understand chapter 1 of Ezekiel where the beasts had the likeness of man, where man was the crown of God's creation in Christ Jesus.

My meditation would lean towards that these Cherubims are the beasts and are at the four corners of the earth as borders to keep men ,because God so loved the world, on the straight and narrow way towards Salvation by the One on the Throne of God, Jesus Christ.

    :)

Satan was a created archangel. When he was ejected from Heaven (with 1/3 angels; turned demons)

They have no bodies. They have to borrow bodies to do their evil. Evil humans give their bodies to do evil. Demons can borrow animal, reptile, etc.

Satan didn't have Dominion or Authority to do anything to born again Christians; but the Christians must be taught what they have in Christ. Ephesians 6

Look at Hollywood! Way more movies on occult, sci-fi, and humans hurting humans. Very very few scriptural Bible films.

Humans were given Dominion in Genesis by God.

Only Bible readers would know that. Jesus defeated Satan by being crucified and then Resurrected. Christians have the same AUTHORITY to defeat Satan's strategies against us. It's done in prayer on our knees.

Most people just want to come home and watch tv or play online games.

Bad things happen to good people/Christians because we don't want to do the hard stuff that produces salvations, healings, deliverance from Satan's attacks. We don't need to be blaming God for our inability to follow the example of Jesus.

What would happen if we walked out on the back porch and yelled out loud: in Jesus Name, by His power and Authority, I take Dominion over every demonic strategy to hurt me and my family and loved ones. I bind your evil plans and cast you OUT OF THIS HOUSE

    OUT OF MY FAMILY

    OUT OF MY WORK PLACE

    OUT OF MY CITY

    OUT OF MY GOVERNMENT

GO NOW INTO OUTER DARKNESS TO WANDER. DO NOT RETURN

IN THE NAME OF JESUS. AMEN

I ask the Lord, to release warring angels to enforce and protect this prayer; minister to and guard those this prayer covers. Cover me and favor my family, Lord Jesus,

I give you thanksgiving, my praise to you, worship and honor. Impart to me discernment so I may stand in the watchtower and be vigilant against Satan's attacks. I rebuke the Spirit of Slumber! Holy Spirit teach me how I should pray for all my concerns. I receive it, in the Name of Jesus. AMEN! HALLELUJAH

Brother Sonny, may CHRIST IN US grace us with HIS wisdom and HIS understanding.

Most people are taught by the traditions of man, very few study themselves and let the Spirit reveal the truth to them.

Romans 8:20 For the CREATURE (CREATION) was made SUBJECT TO VANITY (evil), not WILLINGLY, but by REASON of him who hath SUBJECTED the same (creation) in HOPE. (Becoming ONE with their CREATOR).

Ponder on the tree of KNOWLEDGE of good and evil.

That knowledge exist TOGETHER, you can't have the KNOWLEDGE of good without also having the KNOWLEDGE of evil.

After partaking of this KNOWLEDGE of good and evil, God said, behold they (creation) have become like one of us to KNOW good and evil.

This KNOWLEDGE is necessary to become LIKE GOD.

John 17:21 That they (creation) ALL may BE ONE; as thou Father, art ONE IN ME, and I IN THEE, that thou also may be ONE IN US: that the world MAY BELIEVE that thou has SENT ME.

    Colossians 1:27 ... this mystery....CHRIST IN YOU.....

Revelation 4:5 And out of the throne (you are the throne of CHRIST)( Revelation 20:4) proceeded lighting, and thunder and voices: BURNING ( Isaiah 4:4) before the throne (you are the throne of CHRIST)( Revelation 20:4), which (lighting, thunder, voices) ARE the SEVEN Spirits of God (now in you).

Isaiah 11:2 And the (first is the) SPIRIT of the LORD (Father) shall rest upon him (Christ (in you)), the (second) spirit of WISDOM, and (the third spirit of) UNDERSTANDING, the (forth) spirit of COUNSEL and (the fifth spirit of) MIGHT, the (sixth) spirit of KNOWLEDGE and (the seventh spirit) of the FEAR of the Lord.

When we no longer have to SUFFER IN THE FLESH we will BE ONE WITH THE FATHER AND SON.

I still do not understand, if creation was do perfect and the world newly created and all was godly, just where exactly did evil come from?

Since it was newly created and there was no other place mentioned again so seems like there was an error in some form, and then from the research I've done, a serpent was also referred to as an elder, and in more research there's a discussion of other forms of life, which other religions such as in India.

The serpent races are recorded thru history as are the ocean going mermen and merwomen which a race was discovered by Jaque Cousteau son a few years back on digital camera actually coming up and peering in the the underwater sub as well as three remains found in California on the beach.

I believe whatever exists living is created by God. If there are aliens it's just something else created by God.

When it comes to creation there's alot of gaps in time, books added, books removed, politics.

Example, Romans crucified Christ, the Sadducees and Pharisees were the ruling religious political parties of the times, I'd suggest they wanted Christ out of the way more then the Romans.

Genesis 3:19 In the sweat of thy (Your) face shalt (should) thou eat bread, till thou (You) return unto (to) the ground; for out of it wast (was) thou taken (taken): for dust thou (you) art (be or are), and unto (to) dust shalt thou return. (Dust you should/shall Return)

So the Dead returns to Dust. But again Jesus will judge the Dead. And resurrect the Dead. Back to their original human self. Back here on earth. John 5:28,29; 2 Peter 3:13; Revelation 21:3-5

    Hope this helps
