So Chris, with respect to your questions, listed below, I offer what follows.

    A. Was Christ in God's initial Plan of creation? Titus 1:2, 2 Tim 1:9, Rom 8:17f, Eph 1:4, 3:10-11, Isa 44-48

    B. Did God create man so Christ could come to save him from sin's penalty? Heb 10:5, Gal 3:16, Rom 11:36

    C. Why create man? Did God of necessity have to create man? Heb 2, Gal 3:16

    D. Does God support evil to accomplish His Plan? Rom 9:22-24

    E. And what about Satan? Did God put him in the Garden to tempt man? Genesis 2, Job 1:12, Matt 4:1, Lk 4:2

To A: I don't think anyone can argue that Christ was not in the initial Plan of creation, given Jesus created all things. Titus 1:2 and 2 Tim 1:9 are unequivocal. The Plan of Redemption was drawn up before anything was created. We can legitimately conclude from that, that the coming of Christ in a human body ( Heb 10:5), was intentional. Redemption was not offered in reaction to the Fall. Jesus prayed to the Father to, "glorify Me in Your presence with the glory I had with You before the world existed". 1 John 5:20, John 1:18.

If all things were created for the sake of Jesus ( Col 1:16), doesn't it seem obvious that Jesus was part of the Plan of Creation? There is no indication in Scripture that Jesus was an afterthought? In these verses, we are told that Christ's incarnation was in the original blueprints, before mankind was created. Acts 2:23 Eph 1:4.

What did Jesus mean when He stated in John 8:58, "Before Abraham existed, I Am"? Keep in mind that it is Jesus speaking. Was He simply saying He is God? Or was He saying He as Savior existed before creation? That is, Christ existed. Not Jehovah existed. Christ existed and He is God. John 1 attests to that. In John 17:24 Jesus says God loved Him before creation. Loved who? God loved God? No. God loved Jesus, the Savior.

Rev 13:8, 17:8 also reveal that prior to the Fall, the names of the saved were written in the Book of Life. What's up with that? Jesus came before the Fall.

'..the Word(Jesus) was made flesh, and dwelt among us'. This whole chapter, and the entire Bible became so much more amazing to me once God showed me that the 'Word' spoken of in John chapter 1 is Jesus Christ. Verse 1: 'In the beginning was the Word(Jesus), and the Word(Jesus) was WITH GOD, AND THE WORD(Jesus) WAS GOD.'

I just read your comment. God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world and received into glory. God did this all by Himself. God was manifest( made visible in the flesh of Jesus Christ). He is the Father of creation, the Son ( his flesh) in redemption; and the Holy Ghost in the church. The idea of a triune Godhead is not found in the Bible. Read Isaiah 9:6; Isaiah 43:10-13; St. John 1:1-14; St. John 17:6; St. John 8:21-24; St. John 14:9-10; Luke 24:44; Colossians 1: 13-16; Hebrew 1:1-4; I John 1:1-3; Revelation 1:13-20; Revelation chapter 5. These are only a few of the scripture that validate the Oneness of God. God has many names and many attributes. He appeared in many theophanic forms in the Bible. But His greatest revelation to man was as the Man Christ Jesus. Jesus is His Saving Name. Jesus is God. God is Jesus. From Genesis to Revelation, there has only been one God, One Spirit, and One Savior. Ephesians 4:4-5 tells us that there is one Lord, one faith, and one baptism. One God and Father of all...God does not have three personalities in His head. God is our savior; and He loved us so much that He was willing to die for us and rise again for our salvation. What an awesome God that we serve!

    Hi Cole,

Very sorry to hear about your situation, yet at the same time thankful that you're being open about it. We men make wrong choices at times and it is painful to see the effect it has on our wife. You have been open about your wrong - now consider 1 John 1:9: "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." God is great and can forgive all our sins and mistakes; He can also help those we've wronged so they can forgive us too, and out relationships can heal. I will pray for you, to accept God's forgiveness and also for your wife that she can forgive you; and that you both can find joy and peace in the life God has for you. God bless!

We know it is the Blood of Christ alone that saves, otherwise He would have died in vain.

    Luke 23:43

And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.

The thief didn't require water baptism to be saved, had he lived and come in contact with disciples he'd have heard same commandment, his action would have been same as Eunich.

    Acts 8:36

And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?

If the same Spirit that wrote the Word, be in us then would not that Spirit obey His own Word. And would It not act the same way in us as it did in them?

As for churches and people, I cannot say, but we all know that God is only obligated to His Word, for He is the Word, and heaven and earth shall pass away, but His words shall not pass away.

    Matthew 15:9

But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

    Psalms 119:6

Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all thy commandments.

    2 Corinthians 10:5

    Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

    And Christ is the Word.

    1 John 1:1

    "That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;

    2 John 1:6

And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.

    Ezekiel 36:27

And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

And this is love, that we walk after his commandments.

    John 16:13

Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth:

    God bless

Can I say my Brothers, by the Word, it does seem water baptism does matter, there is a correct way, and in whose name we do know.

    Acts 10:44

"While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word."

    Acts 10:48| View Chapter| Context

And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.

Peter commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord.

    Acts 8:38| View Chapter| Context

And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.

Both went down into the water and he baptised him.

    Matthew 28:19| View Chapter| Context

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

Did not even the Lord command us to go and teach all nations baptizing them in His name.

From the Word it is important, from the Word there was a way of doing it, from the Word we have been told to do it.

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

Mark 13:31 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.

Luke 16:17 And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the law to fail.

The Word is our absolute and that we all agree.

God bless you my Brothers, as for me, in humility to His Word, I want to take it just as He said it or moved His people to write It.

How to comprehend the messiah coming into the world! We know that Christ and John were related, not by blood but family heritage.John new Christ even as a child growing up even though the holy spirit does not account these things. So when John proclaims the Christ, you can be assured of his relationship with Christ, even from the very beginning. The holy scripture has given us just enough info. that we might develop our own insight given through the study of them. In this we know that the holy spirit is in the word. This revelation takes place right here and now! The word made flesh and dwelt among us. John knows his calling, Knows the scriptures and fulfills the will of God the Father, proclaiming the coming of the Son of God.

MAY: you raced right by verse: John 5:23

"That all men should honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. He that honoureth NOT the Son, honoureth Not the Father which hath sent him."

Jesus has numerous names; having different meanings. John 1:21 shows his name at birth...Jesus."

It's the only name by which you are saved.

    Hello Trevor,

I greet you in name Our Lord Jesus Christ. Hope you're well.

I am a new Christian, I gave my life to Our Lord nearly 2 years ago and it's been the best thing I have ever done. I've had joy and peace in my life since then.

I was baptised many years ago, but because of my immaturity I went back to sin.

The answer to your question " how to get closer to The Messiah " First of all the bible says " For whoever shall call in the name of the Lord shall be saved" Rom 10:13

Believe, that God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, the Messiah, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Then you have to be baptised.

Acts 2:38 Peter said, Repent, and be baptised in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of our sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

A few more scriptures for you to look at:

    Ephesians 2:8-9

    2 Timothy 2:15

    1 John 1:9

    Romans 6:23

    1 John 5:13

    Mark 16:16

    Romans 10:9-10

Hope these scriptures will help and give you a good start to getting closer to Jesus Christ our Saviour.

God Bless you, and I will pray Trevor that you will get the wisdom & knowledge for God's Words.

Ok. I see where you could be confused here. When I come to understand these pages in the Holy Scriptures (66 books combined written by 40 different holy men of God) I did not get at first either. Through much prayer and receiving Jesus in to my heart as the Holy Spirit moved, I was shown these understandings. God Father, Jesus (Son) and the Comforter or Holy Spirit are actually 3 persons who were together in the beginning as the scripture says. That is why God the Father says let us make them (man and women) in our image. The Son as who is Jesus in John 1:14 And the Word or Jesus was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory as of the only begotten of the Father) full of grace and truth. Some things will be shown to you as you grow and trust in the Lord with all your heart. It's a growing and learning experience. I have done many Bible studies over 45 years of my life. God is faithful to keep his promises. He asks us to study and search his words as you are doing. Some will always be learning and not receive the knowledge. We have to have faith to know the things of God. He will guide as he searches the heart of a man. I enjoy reading Corinthians 1 and 2 books. These books were an eye opener for me. Through the Holy Spirit the Lord can talk directly to you in visions and dreams just as he did before. That is real. It happens more than people know. This is a faith builder and it will strengthen you for what is coming in the future events. I personally love reading Daniel and Revelation. These books are another realm in itself. I hope this helps you Paul. May God continue to impress these truths upon your heart and may God bless you.

According to the Jewish/Christian scriptures, it was on The Jewish Passover Holiday in order for Jesus Christ to fulfill all that was written in the Torah (Law & Prophets) concerning Him as "...The Lamb of God..." ( John 1:*29; 5:1-*39, 40-47*)which ALWAYS falls on the Lunar Hebrew Calendar month of Nisan the 14th day. Which this year (2020) occurs on the solar calendar day of April 8th, the 4th day of the week (wednesday) giving us exactly 3 days and 3 nights in the earth, exactly as Jesus had Prophesied earlier about His death, burial & His RESSURRECTION ( John 20:1).

Returning to our world on the 1st day of the week, after sundown Saturday, the beginning of the 1st day of the week we call Sunday. After being chosen 4 days earlier (Palm Sunday or Sat. the 10th day of the Hebrew month of Nisan scripturally, this year, God's Lunar based calendar overlay these days/dates this year exactly!)

    Kol Tuv i.e. be well

    Shalom

Nicene Creed part 1 The Apostles creed (I believe) is not in the Bible. The Vatican wants us to believe they were responsible for it.

The Greek churches as well as Rome hammered out the Creeds. Rome was but one of many in attendance

I have had Baptists (I went to a Baptist Bible College) tell me this is heresy.

Yet I can defend every line from the King James Bible that I trust.

Here is is the NICENE CREED:

I believe in one God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible.

    [ 1 Corinthians 8:6, James 2:19, John 1:1-3]

1John 1:8 if we say we have no sin we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us .we sin by words thoughts and deeds

Yes Jesus Christ paid the price on Calvary for us He came to take away the sins of the world that does not mean the world is sinless .it is only those that are washed in His blood are free from sin.

Halim, Carl has given you good advice: your life & quiet witness (as maybe different to what she sees in other Muslims) will undoubtedly speak to her of a true spiritual change in you & of the deep Work of God in you through Jesus Christ. I have spent much time with dear Muslims in Pakistan many years ago & even though I found most ignorant of al-Quran (probably because they had to read it in Arabic, which they didn't know), they were receptive to what I could share. If your wife allows, & you know what she has difficulty in accepting (e.g. the Trinity, the Bible, Sin, Salvation, etc.), then you can carefully explain the Truths, even by using al-Quran. For example, to introduce the Trinity (esp. Sonship of Jesus), I would refer to Surah-an-Nisa (4:171), which speaks of Jesus, not only a messenger from Allah, but also His Word & Soul FROM HIM. John 1:1-14 declares the same thing: the Word was with God - the Word was God & this Word was given flesh (=Soul).(see following comments).

It depends. Where does that originate from? In Genesis the first book of the Bible it reads: 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the Earth. 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 1:2 The same was in the beginning with God. 1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 15:26 But when the Comforter comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceeded from the Father, he shall testify of me. Is this the Trinity you are referring to? The only (trinity) I can find in Gods written word.

(Part 4) John 17:11-12 also shows the keeping power of God. I believe in the permanency of salvation because the bible teaches that God is the one who saves and He does so from out of His mercy. According to Paul, in Ephesians 2:8, grace, faith, and salvation are gifted from God.

John says, in John 1:13, believers "were born, not from blood, nor from the will of the flesh, nor from the will of man, but from God." Therefore, from Scripture, a human being cannot save him/herself.I can't keep myself saved, so I have to trust God's power to keep me. John 10:27-29 is one of the most beautiful pieces of scripture that shows me that I am secure in Christ.

Also, Jude states in his doxology in Verse 24, "But to the one being able to keep you without stumbling and to set you before His glory blameless in exultation." Paul emphasized the keeping power of God's Spirit Ephesians 1:13-14, Ephesians 4:30.

Sorry this is long, but salvation is very important to me. One more post, I promise!

YES! It is an abomination in the eyes of god! read 1 timothy 1:9-10, Romans 1:26-27, the bible clearly states that it is a shameless act and has a due penalty. God in his word in Jude 1:7 says that Sodom and Gomorrah served as an example of hat will happen if you peruse the unnatural lusts of the flesh- you will be cast into eternal fire!

Where do you think the word Sodomy comes from? its a word of shameful acts against god.

Read Job 38 which tells you the Sons of God shouted for joy at the foundation (creation) of the earth.

Adam did not exist until 6 days after the earth was created. So how can the sons of God be godly men?

since when do godly men marry ungodly women and then giants are born to them?

John 1:14 Jesus is the ONLY BEGOTTEN Son of God.

Luke 3:38 Adam is called a son of God since God created him.

1 John 3:1 Believers do not become Sons of God till they are born of the Spirit.

So who was the Father of the angels? would they not be Sons of God also?

Job 1:6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.

I know most churches will argue with me and claim Genesis 6 is not referring to angels and I say they are wrong.

when do believers and unbelievers get married and have giants for kids?

Matthew 22:30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God IN HEAVEN.

Kristin: read in 1 John 1:9, psalm 51, Revelation 3:5

Backsliding means you stood in one place. You're like a prodigal daughter. Come back and re-dedicate your life. Let your yes Be yes and your no's mean no. No waffling. It happens to a lot of people. Doesn't mean it's not important. I sit beside my bed on the floor and confess my wrongs. God hears and forgives. Let faith stand up: you stand forgiven. Like Jesus said to the woman about to be stoned: Go, and sin no more.

Jesus is your Advocate (attorney). Maybe someday you can help someone else.

If you want to spend eternity with Jesus.. get to know him by reading His Word..the Bible.

The Bible tells us in Proverbs 20:1 - Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise.

No where in the Bible state Jesus turned water into an alcoholic drink and the grapes were fermented. He simple stated he turned water into wine. His word, the Bible, talks against alcohol in several places when you read it in its entirety. He will not contradict himself. Jesus is the word ( John 1:1). Galatians chapter 5 also explains to us what is sin. Ask yourself, how would it effect your witness to the world. Would they take you serious seeing you drinking alcohol and trying to lead them to Jesus Praying earnestly and not self willed, God will reveal thetruth

Believers do not become Sons of God until they are born again of the Spirit in the new testament.

John 1:12 But as many as received (Jesus) him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

Romans 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

1 John 3:2 Beloved, NOW now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

In Injil-e-muqaddas, we see the words of Jesus in John chap 3: For God so loved the world (ALL peoples of ALL nations He made), that He gave His only begotten Son (His Word = 'Kalimat-ullah' sent to this Earth & clothed in the form of man) see John 1:1-14; that whosoever believeth on Him should not perish, but have everlasting life".(v16). "Jesus came unto His own (the Jews), & His own received Him not (rejected & crucified Him). But as many as received Him (believe & accept His sacrifice by faith), to them gave He power (the right, privilege) to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His Name" ( John 1:11,12). Yes, Jesus came for the Jews, but His love extends to you & me also.
