Your word is you, we can only know you by your word, God is God because He is the God of His word, He said Heaven and earth will pass away but none of His word will go without fulfillment. His is what make Him the God. I honour my word more than my name..............

As you read & compare the gospel chapters: Jesus did everything openly. When He was charged with blasphemy by his own people, judged, prosecuted and ordered to be crucified, IT WAS VIEWED by everyone!
Ought we not be ashamed to have our momentous occasions witnessed by those that love us and our friends? Jesus is your friend too. Water baptism is to show your repentance. It's an act of obedience. Mark 1:4, 8. In John 1:32-34 John the Baptist, baptised Jesus in water. He saw the Holy Spirit as a dove abode upon Jesus. (Confirmation). John said, the same (Jesus) is he which baptizeth with the with the Holy Spirit. Write the day in your Bible :)

Look into the letters on the wings of butterflies. the entire alphabet of english is in their design.

  • Adam on John 1:3 - 4 years ago
He made all things, even the little details we don't know about yet. Such micro detail and macro detail at every scale. Ever look at a snowflake closeup? Or a butterfly's wing? Amazing how this spectacular design is being written off by non-believers as being caused by a random explosion from nothing. God could have used an explosion in creation, but the design is obviously intentional.

Luke 17:4 - a lot. This shows the level of forgiveness you are you give to others, otherwise we won't be forgiven. Matthew 6:14, Mark 11:26

how many times can a person ask for forgiveness for the same sin
  • Clifford Gibbs on John 1:2 - 4 years ago
I'm really enjoying slowly reading the book of john.the first verse explained a lot of things I couldn't put together the first verse started in the beginning was the word the word was with God,the word was God, genesis starts with in the beginning God created the world than jesus talking to his disciples said I am the word, the truth and the light.which I believe jesus was with God in the beginning (genesis)which helps me understand the trinity father, son holy spirit all in one jesus is -God.
  • Joshua on Colossians 1:15 - 4 years ago
God said(through the speaker) right here: " He, Jesus Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:" What is confusing about that? Listen to John chapter 1 again. "In the beginning was the Word Jesus , and the Word Jesus was with God, and the Word Jesus was God." - John 1:1
If we think something in God's words contradicts something else He has said, it's always WE who are wrong.

Hi Benji, have you read James 2? It says faith without works is dead (17), and even demons believe and have faith (19), so is satan and his demons going to heaven then? Also, if faith was all that is needed for salvation, why did Jesus say otherwise? Jesus said Luke 5:32 He called sinners to repentance. Do you claim that repentance isn't necessary? If so, are we to believe you over Jesus himself? This is reinforced in other scripture too: 1 John 1:9 (says to confess), and Acts 2:38. So, I'm interested in your interpretation of these other powerful verses and why you feel repentance and confession isn't needed to become a Christian? Link

I think our consciences sorta know homosexuality is a sin. If it's not then why did God destroy Sodom and Gomorrah? He's only trying to protect us.
Somewhere in the New Testament it says in the last days (society) will forbid people to eat meat or get married.

I didn't think I was leading others to return to the Law. If something is on the civil law books as illegal; we are actually told in the New Testament to obey those who have rule over us. It's in the Bible. These are the scriptures I was thinking of: Titus 3:1-2 and Hebrews 13:12.
All States vary in their interpretation of what incest entails. Penalties vary as well. Some are quite strict.
Conversationally, I don't want my tax dollars to be used to fund poor women's abortions. Citizens need to vote, rally or petition Government to initiate laws to stop hijacking tax money for it. Make Choice bear that burden.

If you are living an immoral life,no matter what it is,and you think God will forgive you because He is a loving God. This gospel that you are hearing is not the true doctrine of Jesus Christ! Eternal damnation is not salvation.Jesus Christ came to save sinners of whom I am chief! This new social gospel is not the gospel . He that Knows to do good and do it not it is a sin.Our consciences will bear witness to the truth! James 4 will show you how we are to be toward one another and the world.

Leviticus 20:13 speaks on this. Paul talks about it Romans. But most importantly, Since these sins are part of the old testament, they are part of the law. "By the law no flesh shall be justified. By grace are we saved without the deeds of the law". Today In these times, the church should be the watchman, and declaring these things, in the face of a sinful and unrepentant world. The law and the gospel. Romans 3:20, KJV: "Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin."Roman 5;1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:Those who live under the law, will be judged by the law.

Homosexuality is a modern day name for an ancient sin called sodomy. I always heard that things natural are of God. Things un-natural are of Satan. Un-natural living is sin and is a candidate for salvation, forgiveness, cleansing and restoration. We make choices every day to follow Jesus or to follow satan. Choose life.
This is a rabbit trail, but one time I was reading Deuteronomy and God said "I'm Pro Life". My eyes bugged out and I said you shouldn't say that! So I re-read the scripture: CHOOSE life so that you and your kids may live.
If you choose Life (Jesus) you're going to have to give up gayness and homosexuality. Give it to Jesus and receive His Life.

Actually its stated that Jesus is Lord in Genesis 1:26 when God said that lets make man in our image. meaning that in creation God wasn't alone and this is also confirmed in John 1:1-4.
they can receive salvation by believing in God as its stated in John 3 when Nicodemus asked Jesus how he could be born again. actually salvation was first for the Jews and it then came to the gentiles as its stated by Paul in romans 1:16.
You don't have to learn to love Christ because nothing you can do in your strength lasts forever ( psalm 73:26) but just pray that God can teach you to love Him.

yes it is an abomination in the sight of God I do not believe any of this is going to be in heaven

Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
A woman was made to be a help mate and companion.
Sodomy is rebellion against the Lord and his creation.
    Read Romans chapter 1 sometime.

Suicide? There will always be a tomorrow. Your problems will belong to someone else when you are gone. If you stay, you will see a brighter day, maybe not tomorrow, maybe not next week, but eventually. God can and will keep you safe if you trust him. Please think of those you love and think of those that love you before doing such an act--there is no turning back from it.

    1 Timothy 3:16
"And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory."
God was manifest in the flesh,

John 1:1, 14, 18. Jesus is the Word, became flesh, became a man. Jesus was both human and divine. He was the Son of God and the Son of man.

God loves us all, He's see our pain, He is with us, right there in the middle of it all, Jesus said we would have troubles in our life but to stand fast in His love and lean on Him, seasons pass, so we keep praying, and keep our eyes fixed on Him, never give up, fight the good battle, let us pray for peace and look up to the one true love in our lives, we are never alone. He gives us love, peace and joy to our souls something a fallen world can not give us. Many hands of faith out there to help a brother. God Bless and peace be with you, and much love too
