John 1 explains very clearly that God came in the flesh and through Jesus lived among us .
  • Robert DeHaan on John 1 - 5 years ago
I am in need of Jesus each new day. May he be constantly with me and convicting me daily by The Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord for loving me, even when I stumble and fall in sins path. Let there be no condemnation, but only freedom to love You even more. May Your Name be Praised throughout each new day, until that great and fearful day when judgement comes. We stand up for Jesus as he wraps his loving arms around us.

Read 1 John 1:8. If you say you have no sin you deceive yourself and the truth is not in you. We can not be without sin in the flesh. All we can do is be forgivin for it cleansed from the penalty of sin. That is what Jesus did for us. In order to understand scripture correctly you need to compare scripture with scripture and understand contest.

John, God loves us more than we love ourselves. It's not that people who think about suicide want to die, they don't want to live. It's like, why do people use drugs alcohol or any substance? It's to change the way they feel. It takes a strong person to seek help. God puts angels in our lives that we don't know about that can help. Often though, those we think should be helping us, don't have the tools or skills. Jesus loves us so much he would come back live his life of suffering and die for us again. Thinking and doing are two different things. Jesus came for the sick, downtrodden and broken-hearted. He won't not love someone for being that way. People judge more than Jesus judges.

"Contemplated" We contemplate so much in our lives, the number is astronomical. Our brains work at lightning speed. Have faith in Him, in His strength, and in His love. He will quiet your mind. And, yes, He will and does forgive all those who come to Him and ask for forgiveness.

Re sin Some concordances describe 2 types of sin 1 the sin nature we inherit from Adam denoted by hamartia in the Greek of the NT , the basic principle from which we draw when we miss the mark , and 2 the sins we commit Hamartia occurs more than about 20 X more often than the sins we commit If we confess our sin s , He is faithful and just to forgive us our sin s and cleanse us from all unrighteousness .... 1John 1:9 uses hamartia in both cases..what a shock that was to me when I discovered that In other words, we have been set free from the sin nature?....and NOT the sins we commit! Someone, please clarify this for me. Neil in Canada

No one is too far from God. He's closer than you think and always there ready to receive you. May God bless you. Psalm 34:18, 1 John 1:7-9

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 14:8, 9 Philip saith unto Him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us. Jesus saith unto Him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen Me hath seen the Father and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father. There is only one God

1John 1:9 says if we confess our sins he is faith full and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Confess our sins and God will give us joy and a home forever.

The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him, and saith of him, Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile!

John 1:1 is talking about the Word. God and his Word are two seperate things in the bible. When you break John 1:1 down the word And is used. John1:2 would contradict verse 1 it is not God that was with God it was his Word. We do not hold God in our hands we hold his words. Jesus was a messenger from God his Father. God created things by using words. He is not carnal by using two hands.

There are three seperate entities that are in agreement with each other. Jesus even told people in John 5:19 he was a weakling without the spirit of God his Father in him. What Christanity is following is a mythological Jesus another Jesus and not the Son of God Jesus Christ thd Son of the Father in truth and love. 2nd John 1:3. God was not Superman to come in the flesh he sent his Son John 3:16.

In the beginning was the word, the word was with God and word was God. John 1:1. So the bible in essence is God and Jesus RNA and DNA sequence, and when spoken out loud by a believer it never returns void, but accomplish what it is sent to do. What part of Gods body are we aloud to omit ? Pray this prayer of defence against Gods enemies and ours that's why it was written !!!

John 1:11-13 is the Scripture that I look to in order to understand Human Regeneration. Born Again or Born from Above is what I believe is the Second Birth.
