Dear David, does she believe she's 100 percent forgiven? It's important she believes it herself. The Bible is clear that our past sins are washed away and we are cleansed by Jesus' sacrifice. 1 John 1:7. Remember Paul used to murder Christians and was forgiven. Secondly, has she forgiven herself completely? You can search forgiveness on this site for verses. Pray for peace- there's no fear in love

"All sins have been forgiven forever. So, everyone will go to heaven, everyone. I guess Satan or no Satan, it doesn't matter."

These 3 sentences are untrue. Romans 10:9, John 1:9 One must become a Christian follow Jesus to be saved. Matthew 7:13-14 - most WILL NOT be saved and will go to hell. One of satan's lies is to convince people he doesn't matter or doesn't exist 1 Peter 5:8, 1 John 3:8.

John 8:12 Then spake Jesus unto them saying I am the light of the world he that followth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. Genesis 1:3 John 1:4 You have the light in your life you will always over come any situations in your life amen.

Salvation to mankind was first foretold by God Himself in Genesis 3:15. There was no Abraham at that time. Abraham was a Chaldean a pagan but chosen by God to be the root in the lineage of Christ coming. But the Isralites rejected Christ and for their unbelief they were cut off. We were grafted in because of believing in God as John 1:12 says, we became the children of God.

Many times when Christ is mentioned by anything other than His name, it is listed as a capitol letter... KJV bibles show this even in the beginning, John 1:1- In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

funny and yet a miracle to me. I looked up Book of John and halfway down the first chapter I saw Philip found Nathanael or Bartholomew the Apostle. That's my nickname on facebook. Nathanael. blessings from Panda Express chef.

Jesus is God incarnated. He is God in the flesh that came down from HIS Glory and became flesh John 1:1-9 . Jesus came as the perfect Lamb of God to die for us and to take our sin upon himself who knew no sin and then He arose on the third day and is seated on the right hand of God interceding for His children. His children are those who accepts Him as their Saviour.

On the second paragraph of this chapter's commentary, I beg to differ. One Abraham is not the root but Christ is. We are are grafted in Christ as the olive tree for He alone is Holy and hence if the root be holy so are the branches. Second we are saved by grace hence made heirs through the faith of Christ and not Abraham, Abraham was mere man like the rest of us. John 1:12, we are children of God.

Begot- procreated generated John 1, In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Just as the Father, the Word has always been there. Eph 3:9 God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: God, by the Holy Spirit, begat the Son. John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us. Don't confuse the birth of God in flesh as just coming onto the scene.

To become a true Believer we must receive God as the Light of all Life in Jesus Christ by Faith. To understand and convey His real nature, office, and character of that Divine Teacher, who came to instruct and to redeem mankind. This is our most important argument in following and in invitations of souls to Christ. Jesus was in this world and they knew Him not!!! Amen

In the book of John 1:1 it gives both the father and the son the title as God. Then go to PSALMS 110 it says The Lord said to my Lord. This tell us that the Father and the son also go by the title Lord. Then read Hebrews 1:9 and it reads therefore God , even thy God. The son was praying to the Father, to answer your question or to put another way, God the son was praying to God the Father.

Jehovah, the Lord and Jesus is the same being. It is easy to research starting at John 1:1-3. If there is a God or Lord credited with creating, it is the son and not the father. John 1:10 Now lets go to Genesis 2:4. This is the first verse in the bible that the word Lord was used. According to the bible, the Father and Son share the titles Lord and God. Jesus went by the name Jehovah in the OT

You are asking a great question. We are predestine to be saved. All prevision have been made for your salvation. We must confess our sins, 1 John 1:9. Mark 3: 28,29, all sins can be forgiven accept sin against the Holy Ghost. Luke 12:10, these texts make it clear about sinning against the Holy Ghost. Matt. 12:31,32, makes it clear. It is up to us to obey God's commandments or not. God bless you.

Jesus mission laid out perfectly by John! Yes He was sent to the Jew first and then the gentile everyone else v. 31. He came to take away the sin of the WORLD. The Jewish nation failed in taking the gospel message of Messiah to the world, but God isn't finished with the nation yet.

Hello, Jesus died on the cross to cover our sins like that. Though we are to try our very best to follow the law and do what's right according to the Bible's teachings, the fact is we are sinners and are imperfect and will continue messing up. The Bible says to confess our sins and ask for forgiveness genuinely and as a Christian follower we are covered by grace. 1 John 1:9
  • Behold the lamb of GOD on 1 John 5 - 5 years ago
JP what sin? Christians do not have sin. Reread 1 John 5:18 above? Also Bible 101: Behold the LAMB of God who taketh away the sins? Do not miss. John 1:29 . If He took them away, there are none. Behold means "see". See verse 4 above too,we are born of God and have overcome the world. The TRUE GOD is "eternal life" has a son Jesus. That is not an idol. We know truth. Understand 1 John 5:20.

What you're Saying is that you Don't Believe God, that The Word Became Flesh. A Body Made of a Woman( John 1:14, Galatians 4:4) --- A Spirit Hath not Flesh and Bones( Luke 24:39) / The Promised Seed is Christ( Genesis 3:15, Galatians 3:16) The Holy Spirit is Our Comforter and Teacher( John 14: 16, 26) What you're Doing is Twisting His Word for you're Foolishness, Which is Heresy. Ask Forgiveness

Each time I read John, the Lord Jesus Christ is revealed to me, as it were, for the first time, and I see with spiritual eyes Behold "The Lamb of God, Who taketh away the sin of the world".
Also, that the Word of God, is new every morning. It is the Living Word. Genesis 1:1 tells us "In the beginning GOD" . 1 John 1"In the beginning was the WORD, and the WORD was with GOD, and the Word was GOD. "

Alex: Celestial Bodies are Stars, Asteroids, Moon. Terrestrial Bodies are The Planets. All Flesh is Not The Same Flesh: There's One kind of Flesh of Man, another Flesh of Beasts, another of Fish and another of Birds( 1 Corinthians 15: 39-41) and The Word was Made Flesh and Dwelt Among Us --- ( John 1: 14) Christ was Not a Body of a Bird, Beast or Fish. He had a Body Made of a Woman( Galatians 4: 4-7

1-51 GOD knowing 'time' is quickly ending for the human race; so at the above point in 'time' GOD reminds us of HIS intent from the beginning of 'time' (Genesis); also at the above point in 'time' GOD provide HIS plan (Christ /the Lamb of GOD) to the whole world so I and you shall have the opportunity to be 'Born-Again' through the Lamb of GOD /Christ, thereby saved from the lake of fire.
