I AM THAT I AM: Our Lord Jesus is GOD INCARNATE, not Michael. This is a false teaching of the Watchtower Society (Jehovah's Witnesses) and needs to be rightly repented of as it is soul-destroying (literally). John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the word WAS GOD.

  • Kalyani Davidar on John 1 - 6 years ago
We are right at the outset acquainted with the divinity of Christ as unlike the synoptic Gospels, John does not commence with a focus on events but on the adulthood of the Son of Man sent from God , which John the Baptist makes clear. That Christ was the I Am who preceded all else and was part of the Creation act is revealed in the very first verse as also that the Word had to assume human form...

John 1:2 the word of God was with God from before creation. We cannot separate God from his word. They are one in the same. Praise God always, for he is holy.

1 John 1:9- If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Yes, we will sin ,Jesus is our mediator between God and man. When we confess, He forgives, we do not loose our relationship with Him.When it is in our heart to do right He gives us power through the holy spirit to do right. He can do all things.

After Jesus came down off the mountain, he began to preach, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. (v.17) And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues,
This is the VERY place Paul was sent to spread the message. ( Acts 9:15) And Paul headed straight for the nearest synagogue ( Acts 9:20)...........The Syrian people are the people Jesus was sent to ( John 1:11)

In this chapter, John declares the origin of the Son of God and His glory. we also read how John and Jesus Christ met and baptism of the Son of God, immediately the voice of God comes from heaven saying: This is my Beloved Son, In whom I am well pleased, whereafter the disciples follow him.
  • Rev Autrey on Genesis 1 - 6 years ago
This is something to consider: Genesis 1:1 says "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." But in John 1:3 Jesus says that he is the one who did this. So who is right? They both are because God is Jesus and Jesus is God. John 1:1 says it like this: "... and the Word was God." And too, this is what Thomas meant in John 20:28 when he called Jesus "My Lord and my God. Amen.
  • Rev Autrey on John 1 - 6 years ago
John 1:1 says "... and he was God" because Jesus is God. See we must understand that God speaks to us only by the name Jesus. The Father then and the Holy Spirit are his other two names. See with God it's not the dividing of himself into 3 parts, it's name recognition. That is, by what name he chooses to speak to us. And that name is always Jesus.

I believe the animals with the DIVIDED hoof - parted hoof are symbolic of Christ. Christ is the Word ( John 1:1). We are to rightly DIVIDE the WORD as outlined in I Timothy 2:15. Just as a lamb is symbolic of Christ ( John 1:29: ....Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world), a calf or ox is symbolic of Christ, a beast of burden that carried weight - Isaiah 53:4 bearing our sins

  • Rick on John 1 - 6 years ago
I love this: The BIBLE (The written Word) was with God, was God, and created all things. The Word (the written Word) became flesh and dwelt among us and we beheld his glory, the glory of the only begotten (Flesh and blood (virgin birth), not by adoption like we are) of the Father.

The Word Jesus. By Him all things were created. What manner of man is this that even the elements obey Him! Even if we lost our bodies, and our loved ones, He can recreate it all and even better, the greatest miracle is the change of heart and the free will.Daniel some stars- and some to shame and contempt. Or second death and mashing teeth. Salvation Jesus took the cross to spare those who will
