John 10:30 "I and my Father are one." Let's say Bob climbs inside a costume to play a character named Joe. On the outside we see Joe, inside it is invisible Bob. There are not now 2 of them. The INVISIBLE God PUT ON FLESH in the form of Jesus Christ that did not make 2 Gods. John 1:14 And the Word WAS MADE FLESH, and dwelt among us.." Jesus Christ is the flesh God put on. They r ONE

Deut 6:4 "Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord" not 3. God is an invisible spirit and doesn't have a right hand, that is metaphor for "the hand of power". He put on flesh John 1:14 "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us" Hebrews 10:5 "Wherefore when he cometh into the world...a body hast thou prepared me" Jesus Christ IS GOD manifest in flesh and is on the throne Hebrews 12:2

Very interesting encounter with the blind man and the members of his community. In spite of all the miracles, many could not still see that Jesus is incarnate God. This is another prophecy fulfilled that His people will know Him not ( Jeremiah 3: 20). Also see John 1: 11: He came unto his own, and his own received him not.

Insight777; Its very dangerous to be saying, "thus saith the LORD," when God has not said anything to you! There are a lot of things you are getting seriously wrong. Jesus is the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world; and teaching IS NOT shedding of the blood! All your analogies are nothing according to the truth of the Scriptures, but fake spiritualism! and out of your own head!
  • Insight777 on John 1 - 7 years ago
Jesus never called himself the Lamb. Jesus never said I am going to die for your sins.
Jesus did say he is the shepherd. Jesus said feed my lambs. Jesus was Holy from birth but the Spirit he received upon baptism is the knowledge of the new religion he was to establish.Jesus had full knowledge of the Jewish religion but not the direction from God to separate completely from it for human salvation.

Insight7John 11-14 is talking about Christ. He most certainly was born with the Holy Spirit from the womb. You say he was not. John witnessed of the Light=Jesus. John saw the Holy Spirit descending on Christ so John would know when people believed on Christ they would receive the Holy Spirit. Jesus is the Holy Spirit, he is God he came to earth in the flesh. Can he be separated from himself? No.
  • Sheri Stump on John 1 - 7 years ago
God tells us in Gen 1 that He and the word are one. Is the word Jesus? Yes in John 1:14 says the Word became flesh and dwelt among us.

  • Jesse Bryant on John 1 - 7 years ago
John 1:18 dispels the idea of Jesus as "the angel of the Lord". This chapter makes it abundantly clear that Jesus and the Father are one and the same God (though distinct in person). The angel of the Lord is just that, the angel, not the Lord.

Barnabus / Rouse: No one can come to Christ until The Father Calls(a tug on your Heart): 1John 6:44 / Ask Forgiveness: 1John 1:9 / You will be Washed by His Blood: Revelation 1:5 and Baptized with The Holy Ghost: Mark 1:8, You will be changed: 2Corinthians 5:17. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a New Creature:old things are passed away;.behold all things are become new.

The Trinity is revealed in this Chapter. The Father, Son and Holy Spirit have been one since the beginning of time. The Word- Jesus Christ, came down to the world to take away our sins. John had the singular privilege of being a forerunner and baptising Jesus with water who will in turn, baptise with the Holy Spirit. The Book of John is deep.

--- Ye were not redeemed with corruptible things as silver and gold --- but with the Precious Blood of Christ as of a Lamb without blemish and without spot. 1Peter 1:18-19 /--- He was led as a Sheep to the slaughter and like a Lamb dumb before His shearer--- Acts 8:32. / Thank you for being on here,it helps us believers to be stronger and more in His Word. • Insight777 on John 1 - 7 years ago
Jesus is the shepherd not the lamb. John said behold the Lamb of God. The Lamb of God is the church that takes away the sins of the world by teaching=shedding the blood of Christ which is the new testament taught to them by Jesus. Water baptism is taught for the remission of sin and the voice of God approves. John was telling Jesus, here is your lamb=church that you come to lead to God and save.

John 1:5"And the light shineth in darkness, and darkness comprehended it not." The context of the verse is Jesus is the light in a dark world. And the wicked of his day did not comprehend who he was. Jesus is the Word; Those that walk in darkness cannot comprehend the Word of God; Scripture. They add to it, take away from it, reject it, hate it, they turn the word of God into lewdness,

John 1 is a very important charter where we can see Jesus as God and God in Jesus wherein the Trinity is explicitly defined and explained. John the baptist also gives it clearly. What more can one not believe this witness and testimony. Truly Jesus is God and John the Apostle gives an eye witness of everything as he saw, knew and testify so that we can believe in Jesus Christ the Lord. amen.

LU2677 - Thank-you for your concern but - I didn't have you in mind when I posted anything about the Godhead. I had people in mind who might be hungry for truth OR - want to see some truth on here that are of the same mind as me. I don't care who comments on my postings, I know the truth of God's word, and have for nearly 50 yrs.; not quite 50, but close. Matt.28:19; Acts2:38; 4:10

Irene, I see from your post 3mo. ago and your post where you say God was alone when he said"Let us make man in our image" that you have no understanding of John 1:1. Do you not know that The Word and Jesus is one in the same?

April: What Believers are you talking about? All Believers that are Washed in The Blood of The Lamb have a Wonderful Fellowship with The Lord. Wayne: it's not My question. it's Yours. Your question: Is there a Holy sinner,a sinning Saint? A question or statement that anyone made. You were being sarcastic. When a person is Saved,They may commit Sin. We who are spiritual will restore such a one with meekness. Galatians 6:1.We don't miss use scripture,to beat them down. Point to 1John 1:9-2:1. Your The One in Sin.

Wayne: are you saying you're so holy and righteous. That you never sinned again. Read 1 John 1:9- 1John 2:1-2 read it and think about it. Before salvation the Sinner would sin hundreds, thousands a times a day and love it! After Salvation they hate it and can't stand it but sometimes they put their hand to it,then they're miserable they can't continually keep sinning. If they do they are not Saved

Ray: Salvation today hasn't changed. We still look to The Cross,His Blood is the cleansing agent, then The Spirit moves in,We have a New Heart, New Mind, Changed. That happens when We feel a tug in Our Heart, ask forgiveness.( John 6:44, 1John 1:9, 2Corinthians 5:17)Baptized and Sealed with The Holy Ghost:Matthew3:11 / Ephesians 1:13 / you only need to know that Your a Sinner.
