I love to read and learn from the Scriptires.
If the people in Jesus' day, when He was among them, had received him as these first disciples accepted him, our world would be different today. The TRUTH will remain so no matter.how the enemy slices it.

John 1:17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. Romans 3:27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith. 3:28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law. 3:31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law. 7:6 But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter. 8:3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: Hebrews 8:13 In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.

Do not be deceived and lean not on thine own understanding as God teaches both are unrighteous: Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour is the spirit of prophecy and knows His flock: The church in Philadelphia is here and will be shielded from the wrath of Great tribulation of hell that cometh upon all the nations of the whole earth. The Spirit of Christ Jesus is in the flesh today and will remove His church which is scattered about. JESUS SAVES. 2 John 1:7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

Yes, the 144,000 which were sealed from the twelve tribes of Israel will be with Him together with them the shall believe on His name ( from the Gentile age - John 1:10 - 13). We became children of God before we were fleshly born here on earth but by predestination. ( Romans 9:23 - 25 says He shall call us His people who were not His - not in 144,000)

I see "future antichrist" when the antichrist, and many antichrists, are already in the world. Antichrists deny daily that CHRIST JESUS is in the flesh, which is His church, His temple, His body of believers as members of CHRIST carrying His Holy Spirit. Be blessed in Christ. Amen. 1 John 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come and even now already is it in the world. 2 John 1:7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

JESUS CHRIST will SAVE all who love Him as His death and resurrection are not in vain! Wisdom of Solomon 1:6 For wisdom is a loving spirit and will not acquit a blasphemer of his words: for God is witness of his reins, and a true beholder of his heart, and a hearer of his tongue. 2 John 1:7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. Luke 17:20 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:

This chapter gives the unveiling of the Son of God and the key to entering in to eternal salvation . The Lord is God. He is the image of the invisible God. Just as Israel rejected him He is the God of Israel, we need to receive him -not with ref to sin

God is a God of second chance. He is full of Grace and Mercy. There is no one beyound his saving power. I love this song that his " Mercy reaches to the highest mountain and flows to the lowest valley". John 1:9 says "If we confess our sins he is faithful and just and will forgive us of all of our sin and purify us from all unrighteousness". Thats the Type of God I serve!!!
  • Mark on John 1 - 8 years ago
Yes, John chapter 1 and verse 1 tells us that "In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word "WAS GOD". Verse 14 says, "And the word was made flesh" God became a man! Jesus was God and man.

Only in the book of John is John referred to as the one that Jesus loved. John had an understanding of how much he was loved by Jesus and that's probably because he heard Him pray ( John 17:23). Peter professes his love for Christmas and then denies Him. John professes Christ's love for him. John gets it. Somewhere in Ephesians 3 I think it says to know this love and be established in it.
  • Deborah on John 1 - 8 years ago
John was obedient. He did not question his mission, he believed God iand acting on God's Word, spreading the good new of a coming Saviour, prepare the way!

Commentary for John 1 The apostle and evangelist, John, seems to have been the youngest of the twelve. He was especially favoured with our Lord's regard and confidence, so as to be spoken of as the disciple whom Jesus loved.

Have you never heard of a stock market correction? Is my Father's Word not antiquated but alive and true? Is the world not already in tribulation, descending into wrath of great tribulation to be hell for the proud and haughty? Can the LORD not save? Is the Spirit of CHRIST JESUS not in the flesh TODAY? Be blessed and be saved from this hell. Amen. Proverbs 15:10 Correction is grievous unto him that forsaketh the way: and he that hateth reproof shall die. 28 The heart of the righteous studieth to answer: but the mouth of the wicked poureth out evil things. 33 The fear of the LORD is the instruction of wisdom and before honour is humility. 2 John 1:7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

Jacob, Read the verse I gave in my last post. Also 2 John 1:7 "For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist." 1 John 4:3, 1 John 4:2. If you do not believe that Christ came in the flesh (he is a man) you won't get what God is telling you in all the verse I wrote.
