Snow, the law is very hard for us who are sinners but it is perfect because it is the essence of almighty God, Gat. 3:24 says, "Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith. Rom. 3:20 says, "therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin ". John 1:17 says, "For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ ". Thank God for our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. God bless us all and in the understanding of his Word. Glory be to Jehovah in the highest through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Amen!

Bryan, your comment on 2 2, the answer is context. In John 1:1 an "a " is completely out of context and would create multiple god 's. The first and greatest commandment is this "the Lord our God is one, and you shall worship Him with all your heart, with all your mind, with all your soul, and with all your strength. " He is ONE not many.

For this is the love of God: This is the kind of love that God desire of us our entire day-by-day life must be molded by the commandments of God 2 John 1:6. That we keep his commandments: The commandments of God as delineated in Exodus 20:3-17 must be the defining standard of our lives and we must adhere totally to it, for it is the only litmus test of determining whether we are Christians or not. According to James 2:10, if we are err in any of it, then we are guilty of all. A lawyer of the Pharisees extraction once ask Christ a tempting question Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus answered him by summarizing the content of the two tables of stones that Moses collected from God thus: Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. He when further to add that And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. Matthew 22:35-39. The phrase, the second is like unto it signifies that Exodus 20:3-11 which spells our relationship with God cannot be complete without Exodus 20:12-17 which spells our relationship with our neighbour. We cannot claim to love God if we don t love our brother whom we are seeing 1 John 4:20-21.

Randy, we must come to grip with and understand the firstborn from both the old and new testaments. John 1:1 says, " in the beginning was the Word-Jesus- and the Word-Jesus- was with God and the Word-Jesus-was God ". Col. 1:15-Jesus- " Who is the imagine of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature. Col. 1:18 says, "And he-Jesus-is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead that in all things he might have the preeminence ". Emphasize the firstborn from the dead this gives all Christians great faith that we all also shall rise from the dead by the power of Jehovah through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. The Old testament firstborn lead us to the New testament resurrection of Jesus Christ as the firstborn or the first to rise from the dead never to die again. God bless us all and in the Understanding of his Word. Glory be to Jehovah in the highest through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Amen!

When I confess Jesus as Lord in my life , I have exercised God 's power in believing and speaking into existence : therefore I have received power of God to act as my Lord and Savior.

What I know here is two knowledge I think we can learn here, 1 mark 2:27 mean that we have right to eat on sabbath, because sabbath is made for man to rest, the bible say in Genesis 2:2 was the seven day and God rested,, so what does rest mean rest is part of eating and relaxing, , that is why jesus said sabbath is made for man in other words is made for man to eat and relax or rest, ,, Then in verse 28, , he add to it that even himself Is lord of the sabbath in other words he is before moses exit that give them the law he has been in existence John 1:1

This is really a wonderful book indeed. He was in the world and the world was made by Him, and the world knew Him not. Here we are talking about the one who was and is to come. He has never been absent...Christ Jesus. It continues by saying "He came unto His own and His own received Him not "....Hey....this one is an emotional abuse I tell you. Yes....it was for us to endure in the fullness of His grace and mercy. Now when we go to the next vrs Vrs 12 its celebration now, wow!Glory be unto Jesus Christ our Saviour. I 'm so much in love with the fact that the Word was now made flesh and dwelt amongst us. This one "He it is, who coming after me is preferred before me, whose shoe 's latchet I am not worthy to unloose ", the word of God is nice, full of power and wisdom. We thank God.

Mike Moses, God is good therefore he has never requested or excepted human sacrifice. Also, Isaac was not qualified to atone for the sin of all mankind only Jesus Christ is. Even though Abraham was tested and passed a great test by God Jesus Christ is the only qualified lamb of God that take away the sin of the world or mankind John 1:29. The one and only Son of God John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believe in him shall not parish but have everlasting life. God bless us all and in the understanding of his word. Bless the Lord with all my soul and all that is within me, Glory be to God. Amen.

all things were made by God without God that means we would not exist that is why we are to present our bodies as living sacrefices holy and exceptable unto him so he can get the glory out of whom he has made,by studying his word that we might administer his word effectually to bring souls to Christ

Hi Given Sithole: Chapter 1 verse 1 defines that from the very beginning of time there was the Word. Word is capitalized because it references a name by which Jesus Christ is also known. He is the living Word. So from the very beginning was the Word Jesus Christ and the Word Jesus Christ was with God the Father meaning that he was truly in Heaven with God before he took the form of man human in the natural birth and the Word Jesus Christ was God which is confirmation that the deity is three in one-- Father God , Son Jesus Christ, Word and the Holy Spirit being the remaining third part of the holy trinity. However, the focus in the 1st chapter and verse is Christ Word . John is a book of love. His account focuses on the love that God had for the world thru his Son Jesus Christ. I hope this helps.

Ideas what does that mean grace for grace? verse 12 he gave them the power to become the sons of God. Wow what a gift the power to become the sons of God. To become his brother. Christ said I am not ashamed to call you brethren. My prayer Father is because I can never to worthy of such an gift guide my words and actions that I honor your sacrifice for me

In the beginning was the word, the word was with the Almighty God, the word was made God by the Almighty 's decision or ' ' good pleasure ' ' Colossian 1:19.
