Dear God the Father in Heaven, You who throne over everything and everyone. You who care for us so much that You send Jesus Christ to us. Oh we long for those days when we can always be with the Lord. Thank You Holy Spirit for being with us today. We bow our hearts in respect of You Lord who had to walk the heaviest path. And with a humble mind, we fall to our knees and ask forgiveness for our transgressions and sins we do in Thoughts, Word, and Deeds. Help us You Lord Jesus You who are our Lawyer, You whom we can hide behind from the wrath of God. We thank You for coming soon Jesus, and You will judge the dead and the Living. We give thanks for the truth that is in our hearts, that truth draws us to You Lord. The Truth wants us to grow and grow in Your presence, Your authority, Your wisdom, and in You we do not judge ourselves. Like "Onewatchman" dear God help him so that he does not harm himself. We pray acording to Your will God, in Jesus Christ holy name. It is You who will judge, thank the Lord Jesus Christ. We humbly pray that our sins are forgiven and the Holy Spirit can still work in us. We stick to the word that says. Acts 16:31. 1 John 3:6 Amen.

In peace, I say to you who have so many good words and say to all of us here on the web and probably elsewhere as well. Cleanse your thoughts and heal your body. Don't damage God's temple. I don't want to believe that I have or am a better guy, because we all have ours and struggle with. We now even live here on earth. Study Holy Scripture dear you, and you will find that you cannot judge yourself either, because it is One who will judge. When did we become fully grown? When did we become so famous that we are better at judging than God Himself. And know ourselves more than God does. We don't. So now you fold up your arms and find the triggering words of our Holy Scripture. And wash your face and understand that God is with you. He will never leave you. He won't take you away because He saw you in His image. Love u

    Blessings GiGi,

Direct quote from scripture: John 4:24 God is Spirit. John 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of Spirit is spirit. John 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I (Jesus) speak unto you are spirit, and they are life.

God is Spirit. Where in the scriptures does it say God, i.e. Creator, is Flesh; and they that worship Him must worship Him in FLESH and in truth? If Christ was born of flesh, then He wasn't born of God; nor would He be Spirit because Spirit would not be an option if Christ was created flesh. John 3:6 contains two opposite parts to its statement and clearly leaves no room that both options are simultaneously possible, nor that each entity can produce something other than what it is, or change back and forth, or be mixed together, which means coexist. John 6:63 is clear that the words Jesus speaks, which is truth, are spirit and life. NOT flesh and death, which would obviously be untruth.

James 3:11, 12 Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter? Can a fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a (grape) vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh. The REASON this is truth is because in reality, the Mind of God can not and will not produce opposing, dualistic thoughts. A mouse can't produce mice and elephants. When thinking in terms of opposites (dualistic mind) we inevitably WILL have bitter (impure) thoughts and sweet (pure) thoughts, and of course project this insane way of thinking onto God. 1 John 4:8 says "God is Love." Where in scripture does it say, God is Hate? I don't require any more scripture to make the statement "Love creates Itself and nothing but Itself."

For now, I'll stick with Jesus APPEARED as a body, with the fullness of Christ Mind as One with His Mind; not His body. If we were frogs He would have appeared as a frog.

    Hello One Eighty,

Thank you for your reply. I appreciate that you have expressed your views so plainly. I do think you are sincere and open to hear ideas.

I will just leave you with these verses:

If you will, could you show me from a direct quote from Scripture that Jesus was only a Spirit when He was born of Mary. And where it says that He arose in Sprit and not a bodily resurrection?

Where does it say in Scripture that God only created that which is spiritual and that anything material or physical or of flesh is not made by God or not reality?

Point me to the Scripture that says that God can only create what He Himself is-Spirit?

    Consider these Scripture truths:

Genesis 1 tells us that God created the heavens and the earth and all that dwells in both heaven and earth. It says that God saw all that He had made and said that it was very good. So the physical world is just as real as the spiritual world.

Colossians 1:15-16 says "For by Him (Jesus Christ) were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones,, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him, and for Him."

We do not see spiritual beings, but physical things are visible to us.

    And also these:

    1 John 3:2-3

"And every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God; and this is the spirit of the antichrist whereof ye have heard that it should come; even now already is it in the world."

    2 John 7, 9-10

"For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deciever and an antichrist.

Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into y9our house, neither bid him God speed"

Your have the spirit of antichrist by your own words.

    Blessings Nacol1900,

I consider what you are saying is on the the right track, not that I'm the authority on truth, or that you need my or anyone's approval. Yet, I would consider going deeper into what you are touching on regarding, "When God and His Kingdom is spiritual."

With the focus on "spiritual", or spirit, in John 4:24 we have the statement, "God is Spirit". Therefore, He is not flesh. John 3:6 says, "That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit." Therefore, He did not create flesh. John 6:63 states, "It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing. Therefore, it is the spirit which is life, rendering the flesh as NOTHING.

God creates in His Own Likeness. Is it not reasonable that if God is Spirit, and perfect and eternal, which I'm certain all Christians agree, how can we arrive at the unreasonable conclusion that He creates flesh or that anything He creates is something other than perfect and eternal? It is reasonable also to conclude that if something is created perfect, and then becomes imperfect, for whatever REASON, including sin, then it could not have been created perfect in its original creation.

The word "reason" is often used in the Bible; commonly as a noun. In Isaiah 1:18 it is used as verb. Is it is not then reasonable to conclude that God created our mind to use REASON to understand what is obvious? The "devil is afraid of the obvious that arrives through reasonable thinking, since obviousness is the essential characteristic of reality, or truth. The rest i.e. anything pertaining to the flesh, profiteth nothing, does not matter, counts for nothing.

Perhaps all of our conceived and perceived problems arise from what should be considered the "root of all evil", is the authority problem. Is our Author the Creator of Spirit which creates eternal spirit and life? Or is our author flesh that made flesh which is not eternal? Can't be both.

    Jimbob:

Revelation is the revealing of JESUS CHRIST

The 42 months in Revelation is the 3 1/2 years of Christ ministry in the flesh; ending in HIS death and resurrection, not the reign of a single man called antichrist.

The verses are talking about the works of Satan; which is the spirit of antichrist, not a SINGLE antichrist, everyone starts with this spirit of antichrist and it has to be DESTROYED.

His resurrection DESTROYED the works of Satan:

1 John 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil (they blaspheme God's name), for the devil sinneth from the beginning. FOR THIS PURPOSE was the Son of God manifested. That HE (truth) might DESTROY the WORKS of the DEVIL (lies and deception).

You believe antichrist is flesh and blood, a single MAN, God's world says:

Ephesians 6:12 We wrestle not against FLESH and BLOOD (a single antichrist), but against -----the SPIRIT of ANTICHRIST: the carnal mind in ALL OF US -----It has to be DESTROYED and REPLACED with the mind of Christ.

2 Thessalonians 2:8 An when that WICKED (deceived mind, the spirit of antichrist) be REVEALED (in ALL of US), Whom the LORD (the WORD) SHALL CONSUME (destroy) with the spirit of his mouth (the WORD of GOD), and shall DESTROY withe the BRIGHTNESS of HIS COMING (Christ in you, truth and life IN YOU).

Matthew 12:28 But if I (the WORD) cast out devils (lies and deception) BY the Spirit of GOD (truth and life) then the KINGDOM HAS COME UNTO YOU.

    God BLESS YOU!

    THE GREAT TRIBULATION

All through the Prophets they speak of A DAY when great tribulation shall be poured on MAN, the very wrath of God.

The Prophets speak of this MAN; a substitute sent by God to have God's wrath pour out on ALL MANKIND, even those not yet born.

That MAN bore the SINS of ALL MANKIND;THE GREAT TRIBULATION, those already dead, those living during his life on earth, and those not yet born.

Matthew 24:21 ...for there shall be GREAT TRIBULATION ......

Jesus is prophesying of ALL THE PROPHECIES in the scriptures, that great tribulation, all the earth in birth pains.

Matthew 24:22 ...except those days should be shortened, there should no FLESH BE SAVED ....

You WERE SAVED by Christ death and resurrection, the DAYS OF THE GREAT TRIBULATION were SHORTENED, to THREE DAYS.......

Matthew 24:29 IMMEDIATELY after those days; from the time Christ left the supper table, the wrath of God was poured out on ALL MANKIND, yet only ONE MAN took it upon himself to be the SACRIFICE of that GREAT TRIBULATION.

Immediately after the TRIBULATION of those days the sun shall be darkened, and the moon (symbolic of Christ death) shall not give her light, and the stars stars shall FALL FROM HEAVEN .....

Revelation 12:4 ...and his tail drew a THIRD PART of the stars of heaven, and cast them to the earth.....

IT'S a PARABLE; explained in the PROPHECIES.....

Matthew 24:30 And then shall APPEAR THE SON OF MAN IN HEAVEN.....

    IT'S A PARABLE.

Your were raised with Christ, THE NEW CREATION, CHRIST IN YOU .....

John 3:13 NO MAN has ascended into heaven, but he who came down from heaven, who is NOW IN HEAVEN.

    IT'S a PARABLE.

You were raised with CHRIST, you are now the BODY OF CHRIST, the NEW HEAVEN ....CHRIST IN YOU .....

God Bless YOU! he gave himself TO YOU.

That they may be ONE, as we are ONE

My friend, have you been born again?

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16

Paul and Silas's jailer asked them in ACTS 16:30 ..."Sirs, what must I do to be saved?" Their answer was as simple as this in ACTS 16:31 ..."Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved..." Simple as that.

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.- Romans 10:9-13.

Jesus will help you through all your problems. Psalms 34:4 I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.

If you have broken the law, you may have to face those charges, but Jesus will be there with you. The verdict may not be what you want, but it will be God's will, and that is the best way, for He knows what benefits us more than we do.

    God Bless!

    Hi Jimbob.

Thanks for responding and sorry for such a delay on my response back. I normally can't engage until the weekend due to my work schedule.

    Here's my view on this.

We are the light of the world, (The oil filled Lamps.)

In 1 Thessalonians 5:3-5. we see this light mentioned in the believers in connection with the Day of the Lord. (As already established; "Not to be mistaken for the tribulation! but what is interesting is "If" the Holyspirit is taken out of the way/Removed and no longer restraining, then the children of light would become as those who sleep in the night!

He that comforts us, enlighten us and keeps us is no longer doing it and by nature we love Darkness. John 3:19.

Jesus says he will never leave us comfortless. John 14:16-20.

John 15:19. Because of this verse we should see it is not a worldly entity that desires or even capable of restraining evil.

We have three enemies that pushes back against Holiness, Our flesh, the world and the prince of the two, "Satan"

We have one source that empowers, but yet "PERMITS" That's the Holyspirit. We see the involvement and power of the Holyspirit shepherding his Church against these three enemies.

    Romans 8:9-15. (The flesh)

    1 John 4:4. (Satan)

    John 14:16-20. (The World.).

2 Thessalonians 2:1-7. The subject here is the Thessalonians thought the day of the Lord was at hand! Paul says that day shall not come, except there come a apostasy first, and that man of sin be revealed. Paul goes on to say; Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?

He is refering to 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18. He is reminding them.

By the context of 1 Thessalonians and 2 Thessalonians, they knew the order of events Paul was telling them. 1st The rapture. 2nd The man of sin revealed. 3rd the day of the Lord. (Wherefore comfort one another with these words.)

The Church is removed and the Holyspirit operates as it did in the Old Testament.

    2 Thessalonians 2:4 parallels with Matthew 24:15.

Kimberly Renee Lampkin, but maybe you need to go to hospital. My mother was a diagnosed paranoid schizophrenic who heard voices. These voices sometimes ordered her to do things that would have resulted in her imprisonment.

Let me back up. Many Christians believe that mental illness is nothing more than demonic possession, and that could very well be, but not all. What you need to do is differentiate between the two--find out if you are being influenced by demons or have schizophrenia or some other mental illness.

    Have you been born again?

Hi DDGC. By definition, 'begotten', or 'beget', is similar to what the dictionary shows. But when used biblically, and I mean about Jesus (as in John 3:16,18; 1 John 4:9), it gives us the description as "ONLY begotten". And this is important, as in Greek, the word is 'monogenes', which means, 'one & only', or 'one (mono) of a kind (genos)'. And Jesus was like no other - there was never a human born on Earth, born of a virgin and Who also held the fullness of the Deity in His Person ( Colossians 2:9). We can rightly say that Jesus was indeed the 'only begotten of God'.

Hello, let's compare scripture with what I understand you to be saying. Please correct me if I am wrong in understanding your position.

God: "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" Romans 3:23 KJV

You: It sounds like... you don't "need" or "want" God's grace and may not even need to follow Christ (be a Christian)? "In regards to "having a free get out of hell card", it appears you are assuming Alex and others who believe as we do, want one or even need one. "

God: "Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:" Matthew 7:13 KJV

You: "salvation is all inclusive." It sounds like you're ignoring God or calling Him dishonest when He says that most will go to hell, that salvation is intended for everyone but most will not choose to follow Jesus and thus will go to hell. Acts 4:12

God: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16 KJV

You: It sounds like you don't believe what the Bible says or don't believe God, because there is a risk of everyone going to hell. Someone must make a choice and "believe" as it says above. How someone can ignore this obvious verse I do not yet understand.

God: "Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." Acts 2:38 KJV

You: It sounds like you ignore the above command, that you DON'T need to repent or do anything, and that you don't even need to be forgiven? Because you assume you're already saved regardless of your actions and will be in heaven with Hitler, Mao, Stalin, and the worlds worst mass murderers dining and hanging out with them?

Do you consider yourself a Christian and can you please share what criteria you followed to believe you are one?

    God bless.

Are these scriptures being properly applied?

Most think it implies one being condemned to hell.

Matthew 7:13 Enter ye in at the straight gate ....

Most all agree we are commanded to ENTER by the way of Christ, the straight GATE being Christ.

Mathew 7:13 .....for wide is the gate .....

This wide gate would also be Christ.

Matthew 7:13 .....and broad is THE WAY ....

    John 14:6 ....I am THE WAY ....

Is not this all referring to Christ.

Matthew 7:13 Enter ye in at the straight gate, for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to DESTRUCTION, and many there be which go in thereat.

Is this not saying that WE (the deceived, Revelation 12:9) MUST enter the gate and have our carnal mind DESTROYED.

Matthew 7:14 (we have to be destroyed) Because narrow is the gate, and narrow is the way, that leadeth unto (immortal) LIFE, and FEW be that find it (because they never have their carnal minds DESTROYED)

Do lies and deception not have to be destroyed to find LIFE?

The wages of sin (lies and deception) is death.

1 John 3:8 ...for this purpose was the Son of God manifest, that he might DESTROY the WORK'S (lies and deception) of the devil.

    God Bless YOU!

Dear God, Father in Heaven, thank You for being the omniscient, powerful, unique God who knows all things. We thank You that You sent Jesus to us, so that we can be saved through Him. John 6:28-29 John 3:15 John 5:24

We believe in Jesus Christ that He was born of the Virgin Mary, died and was buried, rose again on the 3rd day, as He said He would do. We thank God that when He calls us, we listen and the growth that is, comes from the Lord. According to His will. We pray in Jesus Christ's holy name for He is Lord of Lords and King of Kings. When we come to Him in Spirit and Truth, He will hear our prayers, so He will transform us into and become like Him. Amen Hallelujah, may we walk to His glory, may we always have Jesus Christ with us every day. Always stand up for Him who did everything for us, so that we are cleansed in Jesus' holy blood on Calvary. For no other sacrifice could take away man's sin, Amen Therefore we have nothing to boast about, only rejoice in God. He will guide you, dear friend, all the way. That we have been given life is His, as is everything else in our lives. Amen Ask Him for changes and you will get it. Ask Han for advice and you will get it. Know that He goes with you, because He cares for us all, He has shown us that.

One advice: Stay strong in the word everyday. Amen love u in Christ. Matthew 28 chapter

Six things determined upon Daniel's people and the holy city.

    Part 3

To make an end of sins.

To make an end; as put an end to/make an end to, affix a seal, to seal up, a document is rolled up and sealed with wet clay. The signet ring of the owner bears the image of his seal and is pressed into the clay. This is what was done by the Holy Spirit, 2 Cor. 1:22 Eph. 1:13 2 Tim. 2:19.

Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. Sin reaches for things, such as safety, knowledge, peace, happiness, and pleasure. Nevertheless, behind the act of good, sin ultimately creates a confrontation between obedience and rebellion. If not in faith, it is sin.

    Psalm 32:1 Matthew 1:21 Matthew 22:11-13 John 1:29 John 3:5 Acts 5:31 Romans 3:25 Romans 8:3 Hebrews 9:26 Hebrews 10:8-12 1 Corinthians 15:3 1 John 3:5-6 Revelation 16:15

The covering of our sins was accomplished on the cross at Calvary. When he said IT IS FINISHED, he provided us with the garments (wedding garments) to cover our sins. Sin has not completely stopped yet but it is covered by the blood of Jesus and sealed by the Holy Spirit.

This passage points toward the Messiah who died because of our sins. In Jesus's death, punishment for our sins is paid for. Jesus's death we are dead to sin. Walking in the Spirit meant that we are trusting in Christ by faith to be made right before God, and not trusting in the law.

Whenever Paul speaks about walking after the flesh, it is in the context of trying to be made right before God by the law, which is equivalent to self-righteousness. I believe the prophecy is fulfilled in Jesus Christ and if we are in Jesus Christ, it is fulfilled for us. Praise God that Jesus Christ made an end of sins! As Jesus said from the cross, "It is finished!"

No sin unto death is breaking God ten commandments when you know our should know that it is sin because that is tge only definition of sin.

    1 John 3:4

"Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law."

Now if you don't know something your doing is wrong then it is sin not leading to death.

It is still sin but not done in an intentional manner.

    James 4:17

"Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin."

Stop answering questions if you do not know for sure what you are talking about. You are helping to further ignorance
  • Watchman on the wall - In Reply - 1 year ago
Sin is not anything that is not good.

    The exact definition is:

    1 John 3:4

"Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law."

    That's the ten commandments.

    The law

You need to get pass your pre conceived notions and stick to the Bible

    Rick Paulette,

I believe the LORD is working in your soul. You're feeling the need to ask help for the injuries of others, you're acknowledging you've caused. That's turning you're heart to repentance. That's a good step in the right direction. I referenced the scripture Matthew 25:31-46. However today I felt led to lead you towards salvation. The justification you've given doesn't fix the guilt, nor pain. Deuteronomy 23:18,

The scripture says 1John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." reading in context, please read 1John 1, 1John 2, whole chapters. It starts with acknowledging Jesus came in the flesh, as the Christ, (Messiah, promised redeemer) savior John 3:16-21, speaking to GOD yourself, in prayer. Matthew 6, Matthew 26:41, Luke 18:9-14,

    Luke 19:1-10, Proverbs 16:8, Psalms 37:16, notice Psalms 37 entire chapter. Proverbs 15:16, Luke 17:1,2, James 4, Romans 10:17,

Hopefully you will ask for a better way of life, Paul once named Saul had a mighty calling after Jesus encountered him. Acts 22,

Hopefully these help for new decisions 2Corinthians 5:17

GiGi, I'm praying for Steve this morning. Have you ever listened to Dr. Tom Renfro's terminal cancer testimony? Maybe you or Steve could email (or share by text) the video Tom made about his miracle healing. Just a thought. When my sis was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer, I scoured the internet to search for options and I came across some really good stories which gave much hope and strengthened her faith, and mine. Maybe a video in his email or on his phone might be a seed or conversation starter. Maybe an anonymous printed testimony in an envelope left on his door or in his mailbox might get read to or by him?

Steve might be the only thing standing between Jeff and Hell.

Yes, I believe in a literal, hot place of eternal torment, called Hell. I believe it was created for satan ( purposely lower case) and his fallen angels. I also believe that humans can and will be there, Father forgive us! I also believe that it's NOT God's will that ANY should go there. God made a way of escape (Jesus, mercy) and gave us free will, we must CHOOSE WISELY. John 3:16

    Revelation 2:18

    God bless you Sister GiGi

Hi Joshua288. We can only know who the true Jesus is, when we read about Him in the Bible. Enough is given to us to tell us Who He is & what He has accomplished for us. If there arises any other named Jesus or claims to be the real One, then he would have to have done all that the Jesus of the Bible had done. We remember the warnings given to us in the Bible, such as, 1 John 2:22,23: "Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also."

In this letter by John to the Churches, the person who denies the divinity of God, i.e. from out of the Person of God, proceeded the Son (called, the Word of God) and the Holy Spirit, this denier has the anti-christ spirit. They are prepared to acknowledge the historical Jesus (no one can deny that), but to believe that He is the Son of God, proceeding from God ( John 3:13; John 6:38; John 17:5), but the one who has the false spirit will refuse to believe or accept this Truth.

And many false Christs have arisen over the ages, which Jesus warned us would happen ( Matthew 24:23,24). They were all men, carnal, deceived, & now dead. Not one, nor any other in the future, can ever come close to the Jesus we read of in the Bible & if you are a Christian, to know this Jesus deep within your heart & life, by the ministry of the Holy Spirit. So, please read of the true Jesus in the Gospels & learn all you can about Him - you will find that none can ever compare to Him - none will ever love us so much as to willingly lay down His Life for us, so that we can receive salvation from our sin's penalty. All others, whether coming as a Jesus or as a Messiah of men, are all false, & can never express God's Image & Glory as the Lord Jesus Who died for us & was raised to Heaven.

Now lets go back to verse 1 John 4:17, "Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of JUDGEMENT: because as he is, so are we in this world."

Combine the above verse with 1 John 3:21-22, "21-Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.

22-And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight."

So lets go back to the verse "there is no fear in Love" and interprete it properly.

/When I have love for God and my brethern and that is shown by both obeying God's commandments and help my brethern when they are in a need, then I can assure myself that i have eternal life and there is no need to fear God in the final Judgment./

The above verse should always be served inside all the rest of the verses that are related to it. Because if it served on its own it may lead to wrong conclusions.

    Part 1

Interpretation of the verse "there is no fear in love"

    1 John 4:16-18

"16-And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. 17-Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world. 18-There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love"

What does it mean that "one dwells in love, in God?" It means that they love both God and people, especially their brethern.

    1. How is it shown that we love God? Answer, John 14:21, "He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.". So our love for God is shown when we obey His commandments

    2. How is it shown that we love our brethern? Answer, 1 John 3:16-18, "16-Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. 17-But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? 18-My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth."

    3. What is preceding, love for God or love for our brethern? 1 John 4:20-21, "20-If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? 21-And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also"

    4. What are the consequences if I hate my brethern? 1 John 3:14-15, "14-We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. he that loveth NOT his brother abideth in DEATH. 15-Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him"

The MacArthur New Testament Commentary on Matthew 7:15-20.

    Part 3

A person's basic character-his inner motives, standards, loyalties, attitudes, and ambitions-will eventually show through in what he does and how he acts. John the Baptist told the hypocritical Pharisees and Sadducees who came to be baptized to first "bring forth fruits in keeping with repentance" ( Luke 3:8). Their manner of living belied their claim that they loved and served God. When the multitude then asked John what good fruit was, he replied, "Let the man who has two tunics share with him who has none; and let him who has food do likewise" (v.11). To the tax-gatherers who asked what they should do, John said, "Collect no more than what you have been ordered to" (v. 13). John was saying that the person who is genuinely repentant and who truly trusts and loves God will also loveand help his fellow man (cf. James 2:15-17; 1 John 3:17; 4:20).

A person who belongs to Jesus Christ and who is called by God and given God's message will give evidence of good fruit both in his attitudes and his actions. A person who does not belong to God, especially a false prophet who claims to be God's messenger, will sooner or later manifest the bad fruit that the bad tree of his sensual life inevitably produces.

False prophets can disguise and hide their bad fruit for a while with ecclesiastical trappings, biblical knowledge, and evangelical vocabulary. They can cover it by belonging to Christian organizations, associating with Christian leaders, and by talking about divine things. But how they talk, act, and react when not in the view of Christians will eventually expose their true loyalty and convictions. What is in the heart will emerge, and corrupt theology will result in a corrupt life. False teaching and perverted living are inseparable, and eventually will become manifest.

    Hi Anonymous,

So far none of the responses regarding how these falling angels reproduced makes any sense.Perhaps familiar Biblical Scripture will bring us to more sound reasoning.

John 3:6 "That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit." This logically means that flesh cannot produce spirit and Spirit cannot produce flesh, i.e. God does not give birth, create, or produce flesh. John 3:8 provides a glimpse of what spirit is, which obviously is not characteristic of the flesh. John 6:63 states, "It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh counts for nothing: the words that I speak unto you are spirit, and are life." So, the flesh does not matter, thus the spirit is ALL that does have meaning, and nothing else. John 4:24 says "God a Spirit: and they that worship him (Him) must worship in spirit and in truth. Nothing here indicating God is flesh. Contrarily, it is an emphatic statement, leaving no doubt. We must NOT worship in flesh and in what is NOT TRUE, i.e. untruth, lies, unreality, illusions, anything of the flesh or mind that thinks apart from Him.

Once again, I'm following a pattern from many of my previous postings, which some may begin to recognize: in reality or the Mind of God, which is Knowledge, truth cannot have an opposite. In truth and eternity and the Kingdom of God, they cannot coexist. Knowledge is stable and has no degrees or fluctuations. Only in time and in an unstable mind that perceives in a myriad of degrees, not on the same level with the Thoughts of God, maintain a faith in opposites. Is this not obvious in what we perceive as going on today in this world? Or at any time in the world's history? Or even on this website?

In lieu of this, How can Jesus literally be 100% God and !00% man (flesh)? Opposites produce strain on the mind, and God is not strain, but peace. Look at Matthew 9:16-17. Observe what opposites did to the garment and bottles.

    Jennifer:

The word of God is like a great treasure hunt, one scripture is the key to another scripture, and so on. The scriptures put together are the KEYS TO THE KINGDOM.

Isaiah 28:10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept, line upon line, HERE A LITTLE, and THERE A LITTLE:

BUT NOTICE; since the spirit of Christ wrote the words, the spirit of Christ must teach your what the words mean.

Isaiah 28:11 For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to his people.

Most of God's words are HIDDEN in parables and dark sayings.

Psalms 78:2 I (the spirit of Christ) will open my mouth in a parable: I will utter dark sayings of old:

Revelation 19:10 ...for the testimony (words) of Jesus IS THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY.

For your questions, has words been twisted by man's carnal mind, YES.

Psalms 56:5 Every day they wrest (twist) my words ........

Are God's words being fulfilled? YES

Psalms 90:9 ...we spend our years as a tale that is told.

Hebrews 4:3 ... the works (WORDS) WERE FINISHED from the foundation of the world.

Isaiah 55:11 So shall my words be that goeth forth out of my mouth, they shall not return unto me void, but it MY WORD shall accomplish that which I PLEASE, and IT (the WORD) shall prosper in the thing where unto I sent IT (the WORD)

The four winds of prophecy; a symbol, of the spirit of Christ.

John 3:8 the wind bloweth where it listeth (where God CAUSES it to blow), and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whether it goeth (it's the WORK of God): so is every one that is BORN OF THE SPIRIT.

Daniel 7:2 ....the four winds of heaven strove upon the great SEA (water)( Revelation 17:15) ....

Do I believe in miracles and wonders? YES, what greater miracle than creation:

Psalms 104:30 Thou sendest forth thy spirit, THEY ARE CREATED, ( 2 Corinthians 5:17) thou renewest the face of the earth.

The mark of the beast requires a post of its own, I will send a second post.

    God Bless YOU!

    Jimbob:

Matthew 24:29 Immediately after ----it's been 2000 years, that's not immediately after --- the tribulation of those days ---it's Christ's tribulation, leading up to his death on the cross, that he is speaking about ----shall the sun be darkened, Matthew 27:45 ---he is quoting Joel 2:31 and Revelation 6:12 a prophecy about Christ death on the cross ---and the moon (symbolising Christ) shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven ---- Revelation 12:4 ---and the powers of heaven shall be shaken ----all this description is a parable Matthew 13:34. Christ's words are most often HIDDEN in parables and symbols.

Matthew 24:30 Then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven ---this is still symbolic and a parable ---heaven is symbolic of man, where GOD DWELLS, Colossians 2:27 ...Christ in you .... John 3:13 ... he which is in heaven ....

Amos 3:7 Surely the Lord God will DO NOTHING, but he revealeth his secret to his servant the prophets.

Your raptured: one at a time

Isaiah 27:12 ....and ye shall be gathered ONE by ONE ....two in the field, one taken one left ....

God bless you, as you study and Christ reveals himself to you.

    Hi Kalebu,

I will give my understanding, and others may differ. The tabernacle is the place to host the presence of God on earth. In Exodus 25 God gives the pattern to Moses to build the tabernacle (the tent of meeting), a sacred place to communicate with God. Later Solomon built the first temple which is also a tabernacle in the old sacrificial system.

The people would bring an animal and lay their hand on its head and pass their sin onto the sacrifice. The high priest had to go in once a year with the blood of a bull for an offering for himself and the people, but it did not take away the sins, (the conscience). This was a foreshadowing of the Messiah, Jesus the high priest to come, Heb. 9 and Heb. 10.

When Jesus the Messiah came and was baptized by John the Holy Spirit filled Jesus without measure, John 3:34. The sacred space, the communication and fellowship with God, the tabernacle the true light coming into the world, John 1:14, God was manifest in the flesh 1 Tim.3:16, who communicated directly with men.

As Jesus told the woman at the well John 4:21-24 if we accept Jesus as the Messiah who has come in the flesh, He died for our sins and was raised from the dead, and only through Him do we have access to God and only in Him the name of Jesus is salvation and when we are baptized and sealed with the Holy Spirit we become a tabernacle a place to host the presence of God through the Holy Spirit by our high priest and mediator Jesus.

This is my understanding please study for your own.

    God bless,

Hi Caleb, salvation means to be saved from hell. John 3:16. Everyone will go to hell if not saved. Only those who genuinely choose to follow Jesus Christ will be saved. The link at the bottom that says Become a Christian has more verses.

One thing I'll add is its general Christian tradition to claim that you're immediately "saved" when you "accept" Jesus into your "heart", but that's not exactly what the Bible says. I'd carefully read all the verses, especially what Jesus says in the gospel books. I haven't found any verses that say we're saved on earth as soon as we utter magic words, or that we get to skip judgment day, but have found verses that say if we follow Jesus (including obedience) then we can have assurance of salvation. Verses talk about salvation to come. Basically, I think a lot of people are deceived into thinking they can take 2 seconds away from pursuing evil to "accept Christ" then return to their normal pursuit of the world. But the Bible says we are to become slaves to righteousness. It contradicts a lot of what you hear on TV or in mainstream Christianity which often tries to appease pop culture's morals instead of God's morals. The Bible says in the end many will cry out Lord Lord assuming they were saved but are not.

    Do you follow Jesus?
