John 3:5-10 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be? Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?
No, I do not mind. I understand the Trinity doctrine is deeply rooted, and I do not want to offend. But this doctrine was placed equal in value with there is only salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ. Without this doctrine one cannot be saved, please let me know if that is wrong.
My understanding, God cannot sin, and God cannot be tempted, Scripture is clear God sent His only begotten Son not Himself, John 3:16. Jesus was filled with the Holy Spirit without measure to do all the miracles, and the work Jesus was sent to do by the Father. John 8:29 John 12:44 John 14:24.
Jesus humbled Himself, Phil. 2:8 Jesus was made flesh for the suffering of death, Heb. 2:9. Jesus was tempted the same as we are, Heb. 4:15. Jesus was born under the law, Gal. 4:4. Jesus fulfilled the law that only flesh could do. If he was not able to sin He could not fulfill the law, it would be a farce, God could not fulfill a law He wrote for man, man had to fulfill it. Matt. 12:28 Luke 4:1 John 3:34
Everlasting in Isaiah 9:6 it is the Hebrew word ad that means perpetuity a bond or a contract without an end, forever. We both agree God is eternal no beginning or end, but the Son is begotten/brought into existence before anything not created. When that was? Scripture only covers from the beginning.
Isaiah 9:6 Some things have been debated some say it was about Hezekiah. I feel it is about Jesus, but it could be looked at, as part of it about His first coming and part of it when He sets up the kingdom on earth. The titles or names in this verse, and how we understand them.
"His name shall be called" Many Hebrew names have God in them but that does not change who they are and mean they are God. The name is a vehicle to express things of God, it is the power of the name. and we see this through scripture. God was manifested through His Son, 1 John 1:1-2. That was what Jesus was saying to Philip in John 14:8-11. Jesus said; "the works that I do in my Father's name."

"we are comforted through the mercy of God and of the Lord, Jesus Christ and believe the gospel of John 3:16, namely, that God our heavenly Father in his unfathomable mercy has given us his only begotten Son Jesus Christ as a Redeemer and Savior, who fulfills for us all the righteousness of God, has taken away all of our sins, appeased the wrath of God, established peace between God and us, and has conquered Satan, the world, hell and death for us, etc. For he is the promised Seed who crushed the serpent's head, the Seed of blessing, in whom all generations of the earth are and shall be blessed that believe in his name.
He is the true Messiah, our King and High Priest who by the one holy offering of his body and blood has reconciled his people with God. He is the Throne of Grace established by God for us, whereby we draw nigh to God, and have free access unto him by the Holy Spirit. He is our horn of salvation, and in short, our eternal life. For there is no name given us under heaven whereby we may be saved but by his name alone."
So my thought on the origin of the Word that it proceeded from God in the beginning was before the Word was made flesh.
I have been reading and studying the Scriptures you have posted, I will touch on a few, by the way, great work. Again, I know my understanding may be different and I do not want to offend, I do thank you for this discussion.
John 1:4 "In him was life; and the life was the light of men." This life came from the Father,
My understanding of this, it is part of John's prolog to his gospel as John writes, "In the beginning" is the beginning of Jesus's ministry, not before creation. Mark used it in Mark 1:1 also in Luke 1:2 and John uses it again in 1 John 1:1 "From the beginning" he is again talking about the beginning of Jesus's ministry, "the Word of life" which was the eternal life from the Father, John 5:26. This life is that light that shined and the darkness comprehended it not.
John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we behold his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth."
Jesus the true only begotten Son of God, who came out from the Father John 16:27. He was sent by the Father, Galatians 4:4 from the glory of the Father, the same matter, and divinity as the Father, and the Word was made flesh, born of a virgin and walked among us. We see in Revelation 19:13 His name is called The Word of God. Full of unfailing love and obedience to the Father, God was manifested in Him on earth 1 John 1:2 1 John 4:2 1 John 4:9. Jesus was filled with the Holy Spirit without measure.
John 3:34 For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.
Will study more of your posts and reply, if you want to continue the conversation, I understand your time is tight.

I don't have much of anything to add to what I've already said. But I do want to emphasize some things.
Your view of OT Salvation is a Gospel of Grace plus Works. In that while the OT Believe was saved by Christ's Atonement their obedience to the Ceremonial Law contributed to their Salvation in some way. And that is not possible based on everything we read in the Bible about the Nature of Salvation. Salvation is by God's Grace ALONE. It is 100% the work of God. Remember the man who picked up a few sticks in Numbers.
In John 3 where Jesus is talking with Nicodemus about Becoming "Born Again", He was clearly expecting Nicodemus, a teacher, a Pharisee, someone that should have been familiar with what was required for Salvation in the OT, to have understood this as a MASTER OF ISRAEL. John 3:10 Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a MASTER OF ISRAEL, and knowest not these things?
This idea of OT Believers going to a place called Hades when they die is not taught in the Bible. I know that you want to put your weight on the story of Luke 16 about the Rich Man and Lazarus. But when we examine that story very carefully we know for a certainty that it is not talking about a possible historical event. That story is NOT a "historical parable" it is a "parable" like many that Jesus told when on earth to teach some Spiritual Truth. Nowhere does the Bible teach that someone "buried" has "eyes" to see or that there could be any communication with Abraham who is in Heaven. The Bible just absolutely does not teach that. Nor does the Bible anywhere teach that OT Believers go to a place called Hades when they die.
So, forgive me for being so bold and presumptuous, but it seems to me that your Dispensational view of the Scriptures forces you into an understanding of God's Judgment and Salvation Plan for Mankind that is complex and convoluted. And prevents you from seeing the consistency and cohesiveness throughout the Bible.
Let's make this clear, A Christian should do ALL he can to live a sinless life.
The question is, Can he do it?
John 1:29.
The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, WHICH TAKETH AWAY THE SIN OF THE WORLD.
This is the penalty of sin!
Christ was the perfect sinless offering, God wouldn't take no less than the perfect sacrifice.
That's the only sacrifice that could be offered!
Who offered this perfect Lamb? God. John 3:16.
Would Jesus be the Lamb of God if he fell short and only committed one sin but did his best? No! It had to be perfect from the time he was born until his death on the cross.
Jesus didn't inherit a sin nature as a son from Adam as we.
Jesus was begotten of the Father!
This was a display of love from God in offering up his own son.
We can't offer up a sinless life in these sinful bodies.
Yes, we can do our best and have a good report in what we do in the body,
But we can never get from under the cover of the blood of Christ.
You could never make atonement for yourself and come to the Lord "NAKED"!
This is shown in Exodus 19:11-25.
No matter how well you do or how spiritual you are when you die you will not be sown incorruptible.
However, you will be SOWN IN CORRUPTION; SOWN IN DISHONOUR; And SOWN IN WEAKNESS;
When you are raised, you will be RAISED IN INCORRUPTION, RAISED IN GLORY, AND RAISED IN POWER:
Then you will cast off this body of sin and Death is swallowed up in victory. 1 Corinthians 15:42-43.
Question;
Is doing your best enough for salvation?
If you do your best all your life "as most of us do" However, commit one sin, are we saved?
If so, Why?
God bless.
Thank you, brother, I know I differ in this fervently held belief from most, and not believing it is offensive to many. I just would like to share just a little of my understanding of where I am on this, I know many will disagree.
We cannot deny the divinity of Christ, He came forth from the Father. Do I believe Jesus was created? NO. Do I believe the Son of God began at Bethlehem, at His birth? NO. If we look at Micah 5:2 at the prophecy of His birth Micah says He will come forth, the Hebrew word yatsa means to go or come out.
"Whose goings forth have been from old, from everlasting." The Hebrew word for everlasting is olam means long duration, antiquity, futurity, and days of eternity.
Jesus came forth and was the Son of God before creation as we see He is the beginning of creation all came through Him and for Him, Rev. 3:14 Colossians 1:16. Jesus is the only begotten Son of God who came forth from the Father, (came out of) not created. Does Jesus confirm this, John, 7:29 John 8:42 John 16:27 John 17:8?
My understanding is Jesus is the literal Son of God, truly begotten of the Father. Jesus came out from God, His true Son, of the same matter, and divinity as the Father with divine inheritance, John 5:26 John 6:57 Heb. 1:4, not a title as a part of God. God truly gave His true only begotten Son John 3:16.
As the Gospel of Jesus tells us, all who believeth that Jesus is truly the only begotten Son of God. My understanding is if I do not believe Jesus is truly the Son of God I deny Him. That brings in 1 John 2:22 if I say Jesus is God, I deny that there is a Father and a Son.
Just a little and thank you again for your caring reply, you do not have to reply I just wanted to tell just a little.
God bless,
RLW
Always nice to hear from you, and thanks for sharing your thoughts.
I see it as: It is His way, not our way. Regarding the kingdom, hopefully it should be residing in us as in Luke 17:21 but we must be aware of 1 John 3:28 and Matt 6:24 as well as trying to save our lives, and surely we need to Matt 16:24 and must surely die to this life/world Matt 16:25.
And finally, Matthew 16:26
"For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?"
GBU
God hates sin! We need to learn to "hate sin" as much as God hates it!
Very true..you will not need a Savior when you overcome sin, because you will have have listened to God, applied his commands to your life, and allowed Christ to perform His marvelous work in you, to help you overcome the sins in this life - that you and many Christian's believe is impossible. Nothing is impossible for God! And yes, you will then be ready to enter into the Kingdom and "you will not need a Savior as you say"you will have allowed the Savior to do His miraculous work in you at present!
Matthew 5:48 "Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect."
If we keep sinning because we feel that we can't stop sinning we are not following Jesus/Gods commands, nor embracing His Spirit. We are keeping our worldly sinful lives intact, and not listening to His instructions, to give up this life, and live according to His Commands.
John 8:34 "Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin."
John 3:3 "Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."
If we are truly born again we will learn to hate sin as much as God. Who do you think wants us to think we can never stop sinning? It's not Jesus/God, because He tells us point blank: To stop sinning!
1 John 3:6 "Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him."
1 John 3:8 "He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil."
By saying we will never overcome sin we are saying that the Son of God can't overcome the devil's sin that works in us, and that we will always be a servant to the devil.
We need to read the scripture, and believe, and apply it to our lives now!
GBU
The Many. There are those Christians who believe they can never stop sinning, and even so, believe they will attain salvation/heaven. They reinforce this sin message between themselves, all the while continuing to live worldly lives, and assuring themselves that sin will be all around them engulfing them for the rest of their lives.
1 John 1:6 "If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:"
1 John 2:15 "Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him."
James 4:8 "Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded."
The Few. Then there are VERY FEW Christians who believe they can actually stop sinning with the help of God's Holy Spirit, and they strive to do so everyday, as the scriptures command, eventually overcoming sin, and winning the ultimate prize Salvation!
1 John 3:6 "Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him."
1 John 3:9 "Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God."
Now when we compare the above (2) Christain mindsets - we can now put this verse below into the proper perspective:
Matthew 7:14 "Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it."
A good question to ask ourselves EVERYDAY - Do we want to be counted in the Many, or the Few?

Perfect. Perfect.
"Bit of advice, don't go to the Greek. A simple verse to explain it all is 1 John 5:7"
The Holy Spirit never uses us to interpret Scriptures by the letter, even in Greek, it is very danger thinking from human perspective, a stumbling block, not from GOD's perspective- Matthew 16:22-23.
He that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from above is above all. John 3:31
1John 3:1-3
1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of GOD: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew Him not.
2 Beloved, now are we the sons of GOD, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is.
3 And every man that hath this hope in Him purifieth himself, even as e is pure.
Romans 3:10,11 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
James 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.
These verses apply to ALL MANKIND. whether they lived in Old Testament or New Testament times. And for God to forgive any sin of any kind at any time is for that sin to have been paid for. And all of the sacrifices of the Old Testament could never pay the penalty demanded by the Law of God for any sin of any kind at any time.
Forgiveness of sin has everything to do with Salvation itself. Any Old Testament Believer was "saved" just like any New Testament Believer. That is, Christ must have "paid for their sins" and that Salvation must have been applied to them by making them Born Again. And that is ALL the work of God Alone, Grace Alone.
John 3:3,4 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? John 3:9,10 Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be? Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?
Nicodemus was an "Old Testament" Jew under the Ceremonial Laws.
So again, Salvation, the forgiveness of sin, any sin of any kind in any time can only be forgiven if we have become Born Again by God's Grace Alone.
The keeping of the Ceremonial Laws, the keeping of any Law of God could never "save" anyone or forgive any sin at any time in history. Abel's sacrifice did not forgive his sins, did not save him. Abel's sacrifice was acceptable to God because God had "saved" him. Cain's offering was not because Gid had not saved him.
Only when a person has been born again by God's Spirit ( John 3:3), can that person be in a new revived position of receiving & giving communication to our Heavenly Father. God sends His Spirit to be with us & in us ( John 14:17), but His Spirit doesn't replace our spirit, nor does He overrule us to the extent that we cease to think & behave as ordinary people. So, when He ministers to us (whether in decision-making, personal conduct, in worship, in understanding the Word, etc.), it becomes our choice as to whether we allow His gentle & precise ministry to influence us or not. Sadly, we often allow carnal thoughts or pre-conceived ideas or beliefs to take precedent over His, much to our detriment. But when we are truly walking (& worshiping in the Spirit) - Galatians 5:16,25 - then we will truly know His Peace, that which 'surpasses all our understanding & inclinations' ( Philippians 4:7), joyfully allowing Him to lead us, especially in worship & in faith, for all we experience.
Your questions 'to which spirit'? Our spirit is never laid aside in the functioning of man - our faculties are always in force. It is how much we allow the Holy Spirit to take control in our lives, our worship, even 'wisdom in allowing others into our lives' ( Romans 8:1-28).
The prophet is Isaiah, Matthew 1:22-23 shows the fulfillment of one of the many prophecies, this one we see given in Isaiah 14:7. Immanuel or in Greek Emmanuel is a Hebrew personal name meaning God is with us or God is with the people. Immanuel/Emmanuel is representative of the fact that God would demonstrate his love for us by the giving of His only begotten Son, Jesus the Messiah for the deliverance and salvation of his people, John 3:16.
Hebrew names have meaning like Jesus or Joshua that comes from the same Hebrew name Yehoshua meaning God is deliverance. It is derived from yeho meaning God and shua meaning to deliver or save.
God bless,
RLW
Meaning- the True knowledge of God conforms us to the Divine Nature, Rom 8:29 1John 4:17
Walking & living in the Spirit, Gal 5:22,23, Ephesians 5:9, They're truly born again of the Incorruptible Seed & sin not 1John 3:9 & those that are not led or have the Spirit are none of His. Rom 8:9
False knowledge does not destroy the works to the devil, but leaves the corrupt Tree standing, meaning the old Adamic nature, the man of sin, because his seed (Satan) remains in him, thus one continues in sin, though he or she is ever so conversant in the letter of the Scriptures.
In love & truth
You are right. "flesh and bones cannot be the image of God".
JESUS said: Luke 20:35-36
35 - They which shall be accounted WORTHY to obtain that world(next world-Kingdom of GOD- Revelation 11:15-18.Take a look.)- , and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage:
36 Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of GOD( John 1:14), being the children of the resurrection.
By the way, only and only JESUS was n ot born of the sin, was not of the Devil( John 8:44 & 46. Take a look.)
Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of GOD - John 3:3.
The tribulation period and the wrath of God are different periods, to not get this right will throw off the timeline for the Lastdays prophecy in many ways.
In (Lu 17:27-30) v29 "But ((the same day)) that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all". Instead of focusing on them eating, and drinking and marrying, and giving in marriage, put your focus on THE SAME DAY. The same day Lot went out it rained fire and brimstone! The wrath of God starts the same day Jesus comes.
( 2 Thess 1:7-10) v7 "when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels".
v8 "In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God" (In flaming fire taking vengeance on them is pouring out His wrath on them) The word (wrath) is #3709; it means violent passion, punishment, anger, indignation, ((vengeance)).
v9 "Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power".
( John 3:36) In this verse He that believeth will be those who are taken in ( Mt. 24:40-42) the ones caught up to meet the Lord in the clouds in ( 1 Thess 4:16-17) which happens "Immediately AFTER the tribulation of those days" ( Mt 24:29-31)
Those who (believeth not) are the one's left in ( Mt. 24:40-42) the wrath of God abideth on them, the disobedient ones in ( Eph 5:6) and ( Col 3:6) and ( Rom 1:18)
Believers receive everlasting life!
non-believers receive the wrath of God!
( Zephaniah 1:14-18) v14 "The great day of the LORD is near" v15 "That day is a day of wrath".
These verses show us that God's wrath comes the same day Jesus comes.
( Rom 1:18) ( Eph 5:6) ( Col 3:6) ( Rev 6:16-17) God's wrath comes on bad, disobedient, non-believers in Jesus Christ.
( 1 Thess 5:9) Believers in Jesus are not appointed to wrath.
( 1Thess 1:10) The word (delivered) is 4506; it means to rush or draw (for oneself) to rescue.
( Rom 5:9) "being now justified by his blood we shall be saved from wrath through him"
God Bless you.
the Rule & Guide of a Christian life
Who inspired the holy men of God to write the Bible, which the Bible points to as the Giver of all Life, that we may freely become partake of the Life of Christ, that we may possess a personal intimate relationship with our Father though His Son Jesus Christ, who will cleanse us from all sin that we may become sons of God, by which God by His Spirit makes all these thing possible.
1Cor 15:45 Job 33:4 Rom 8:9 John 10:10
The letter can not do this & was not given to do this. Meaning the Strong Concordance or what wherever else their is out there, it maybe helpful to the little children, but its not necessary, man have put them in the place of His Spirit in discerning the things of God.,..
For the Spirit is given for this very purpose to guide, convict, teach, comfort & counsel us. Jesus states, John 16:7
He bringing us into the very Life of God the Scriptures give witness too, that all the holy men & women of God enjoy by His Spirit
John 3:27 God,
For the Father seeketh such to worship Him, meaning being led by His Spirit & Truth in all things that pertaineth to this life & without His Spirit leading us nothing is acceptable to Him. Jesus said that I only say & do as the Father reveals it to Me, our Forerunner
David,
The Spirit will always point to the Life of Christ as our Example, John 17:17-19 meaning the words God's Spirit led Him to say & do, sanctifies Him & us. 1John 2:6 1John 4:17 & will alway align Himself to the Scriptures which He, Himself inspired, along with mans nobler part, "sound reasoning". His Spirit bearing witness with our spirit.
This is not against Scriptures, by no means, but fulfills them, we can't understand the truth imported by them, without the One who inspired them as Scripture plainly reveals 1Cor 2:9-14.
Job 32:8
You keep making these dogmatic statements, contrary to the Scriptures you point too!

So, verses such as John 3:16 & Galatians 3:8,9, clearly show that God's Salvation Plan did include the Gentiles ("God so loved the world" & "justify the heathen through faith"), but God's primary focus was that His people Israel would be saved by the Gospel & then Acts 13:46-48 would take place. The Jews would have first inherited salvation's blessings & be a mighty beacon to the whole world of salvation's plan, yet rather, because of their rejection, the Gospel then came to us. And so we see Paul's great yearning for his people in spite of his primary calling to preach to the Gentiles; in Romans 11:14, "If by any means I may provoke to emulation them which are my flesh, and might save some of them". That through the abundant conversion of Gentiles, even through his ministry, his own people might be provoked to jealousy/rivalry (Gk. parazeloo), that he might also save some of them. That they too might inherit eternal life when their ears & hearts are opened, not only to the Gospel, but to the power of the Gospel, just as those of the Gentiles who came under the sound of it, were convicted & believed.
It would be hard to imagine what the State of Israel would be like today had they turned to Christ (as the firstfruits) - or would they have gone down the same road as the other nations, allowing Satan to gain a foothold into their hearts & government?
you state "Why do we say that sanctification makes us blameless, not faultless?" if "we" includes all the writer that you quoted here, than I have serious doubts of their salvation, for Jesus expressly states that "ye must be born-again to enter the kingdom of heaven, stating it twice to Nicodemus, which strengthens His statement. Verily, Verily John 3:3-6
your statement goes on; Because the Grace of God working in us does not make us infallible. Sin has so perverted our moral and spiritual powers that we shall never in this present life be free from the infirmities of human nature."
Then they are still living in their old nature & have not been regenerated unto the new creature, created in the knowledge of Him who created him.
So all these quotes are just a high profession, but has not become a possession of the Substance, who is Christ.
More about Judging others.
Have you ever seen a vision Texsis? Me personally, no never. But my wife has seen a few. One of them was the following:
She was standing in front of God's Throne during the Judgement. In front of her there was another woman who God was judging first and my wife's turn was immediately after. Both, that woman and my wife, had papers in their hand where there was a list of the sins/accusations they had done. The other woman was a person that my wife knew. While the other woman was judged my wife who knew her was thinking of the errors that that other woman had done. Every time my wife thought "she did that...", the same thing/accusation appeared on her paper as well. So at the end she realized that it was better not to judge that other woman so that nothing similar appears on her paper too.
"Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again."
If we are strict to people, God is going to be strict to us. If we are mercyful to people then God will be mercyful to us well. Let's not forget that our God is Love.
John 3:17, "For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved."

It is here that God seeks to work out our sanctification, by cleansing us from what the corruptible seed has planted within us (devil), by the incorruptible Seed, the washing of the Water of the Word, the engrafted Word, Christ, who is able to save our immortal souls. This is refer to in 2Thess 2:4 who exalts himself against the knowledge of God, the Incorruptible Seed, & who's temple we are, is to whom we obey, Rom 6:16,17 "obey from the heart", the Light / Grace that shines the glory & the knowledge of God, the Incorruptible Seed, the revelation of Jesus Christ within all the hearts & minds of mankind, brings us to the new birth, that's of the Spirit John 1:13 John 3:6, therefore we are to 2Cor 10:5,6 meaning cast the devil out by picking up the Cross & denying, mortifying & crucifying self; Rom 2:29
through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit ( 2 Tim. 3:16) which is useful for teaching; instruction in righteousness; etc. It contains
eternal truths as to the past; present and future state of man's soul as well as the environment which will exist (eventually a new heaven and earth for those saved; and the lake of fire for those whose names are NOT in the Book of Life. ( Rev. 20:15).
The functions; therefore would be a declaration of a future for those saved; to whom have been called and chosen and who have
heard His voice ( John 10:27); and for others who have not ( John 3:18) who are judged by their works and have rejected Christ
to save them from their unregenerate state.
John 16:8 shows that the function of the Holy Spirit is to reprove the world in relation to sin; righteousness and judgment.
The writings and copies of texts are so accurate that if one LETTER was off on the count of the Pentateuch (first five texts of
the Bible) it would be destroyed and started again. This also demonstrates certain patterns in scripture which I won't venture
into here; but the Bible of course is also useful for history; lessons of sins to avoid; and every other instruction manual on practical wisdom for our lives and has different forms that are poetic; prophetic; acrostic; and intersect personal lives with larger themes seemlessly. Therefore there are many applications which the Bible can be beneficial for (even as a learning tool for a given language before it was kicked out of the schools).
Hope that is a good start.

This scripture posting is intended to shine a light of truth to expose what has been deception sometimes posted here before by a few.
Some have a problem with what Jesus said about obedience and keeping His commandments. Some may even demean what Jesus said and label these words a "works doctrine" or "legalist". A "Christ follower" attacking Christ. Be careful! End times are near.
So what has happen? Jude1:4 when it states they deny our Lord & Savior, He's talking about Grace / Light spiritual appearance within our hearts, the still small Voice of conscience. So these intruders has change Grace meaning, & turning it as a means to continue in sin, this would put Jesus as a promoter of sin & making it easy for us to continue in sin; Meaning a Gospel with no Cross to bear & denial of self, which Cross would purges & cleanse us from all sin.
You stated; New birth, regeneration & new creation does not mean a sinless state by no means. This is a total contradiction to the Holy Scriptures.
1Pet 1:23, 1John 3:9 & why? Because this Incorruptible Seed remains in him, who is Christ. They that are Christ has been buried with Him, meaning their dead unto sin, Rom 6 Which is indeed the Baptismal of the Holy Spirit purging out all the chaff. (sin) the old spiritual nature, were self is seen no more, & receiving Power to be witnesses unto Him, meaning we're conformed Rom 8:29 Christ the Head, we're the body, Ephesians 5:30 1Cor 6:17 Is Christ join to sin? Friend, you know that answer!
You say "we have limits all of us" I agree in the sense of different calling within His body for service, but not from excluding us to be free from all sin.
You say, "so sin does not only originate from the flesh, but from the spirit as well"
The body is just a vessel, being animated by the soul & spirit, if we are Rom 12:1,2 & are brought to the new birth in spirit, 2Pet 1:3,4 the body will be follow
You say "in life we have the Spirit partially" Gal 3:2 you decide the increase of you talent, Matt 9:29 there's no limit on how much of God we may inherit..
You say, "that Spirit has not transformed our nature" He transforms our carnal mind & put to death our carnal nature by the Cross/Grace/Light, & by His
2 Pet 1:3,4 God does nothing but through His Son & by His Spirit.
In love & truth
1.{ John 3:16} God so loved the world, that he sent his only begotten son, that whoever believed on him shall not perish but have everlasting life, this is Jesus who was, and still is the savior of mankind, he came to teach us on how we can have everlasting life. he gave us the example that we should be baptized as he was. The Holy Spirit descended upon him and abode in him, { Luke 4:1}, {Mathew 3:16} this was necessary for him to begin his ministry to the people of Israel. It was through the Holy spirit that he performed the miracles mentioned in the Bible. { Mark 5:41} and by whom he taught with authority.
2. The New Testament Church became to being through the four Gospels of Mathew, Mark, Luke and John, these four were witnesses, of Jesus's Divine teachings. Jesus, he told them he will send his Holy Spirit, { John 14:26}, { Acts 2:4}, { Acts 4:31}
Here again, the Holy Spirit enabled them to perform miracles and teach others {also the Gentiles} about the Kingdom of God. { Acts 10:19}
3. There are true Believers who worship God, in truth and in the Spirit, for God is a Spirit so we must worship in the Spirit. This of course is after believing that God sent his Son, as the word says, that whoever believes in Jesus as our Savior must be Baptized in his real name, as the Hebrew Bible instructs us, his name is "Yashua" He is a newborn person, therefore, this born-again person will also receive the Holy Spirit. {Psalm32:8}, { John 16:13}, { john 3:5}. I hope that these verses from the Bible, will help you understand the Importance the Holy Spirit has had in the life of Jesus in his teachings, the New Testament brought about by the four gospels of the Apostles, and to our very own lives today. This is a wonderful promise given to us who believe in the Savior, { Numbers 23;19} God Bless you.
I recently joined this discussion board and am therefore unfamiliar with those who have been here much longer.
I see scripture passages and verses as being similar to jigsaw puzzle pieces that God expects each of us to understand and appropriately place together throughout our lifetime, so as to be able to SEE the kingdom of God as one might view a beautiful picture.
"Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, HE CANNOT SEE the kingdom of God." ( John 3:3)
SEEING God's kingdom is vital, as this act defines whether Salvation is ultimately achievable or not - John 3:5-8.
I have been on numerous Bible discussion boards seeking to partake in some "strong, Bible-based meat" ( Hebrews 5:14) in which to 'chew' on, so that similarly-minded Christians could also share what they had each discovered - so that collectively, we might each piece together what the Lord had revealed to each of us. Sadly, I have been unable to find any such discussions.
Therefore, when your questions deviated into impossible areas that could never be responded to in scripture, I felt the response I provided was necessary.
So - no offence was intended One eighty. I guess that sometimes incidents like this need to happen so that we can each learn a little bit more about each other and why we are here.
Blessings, One eighty.

As Hemorlan replied, 'Acts is the transitional book (rightly dividing) OT & NT. For the OT laws were for the Jews i.e. before Jesus DBR (death, burial & resurrection). NT is for All Jews & Gentiles. Christ shed His blood & died for All who choose to believe & All sin past, present & future. Making us All one in salvation.
As you point out, Romans 15:4..Paul is stating 'For what was written in the past was so we learn from past mistakes & come out unscathed by the world around us. To be strengthened in our hope/faith through patients for the evil around us & be comforted knowing God was w/them then as He is w/us now'. As for 2 Tim3:15, that's partial scripture & is best interpreted/understood if you read entire meaning not merely one verse, 2 Tim 3:12-17.
As for Matt 5:17-20, Jesus is speaking to the disciples on how things are related/differ tween the OT(Gen-Acts12) & how things will be upon His DBR to come (NT) Acts 13-The Revelation. In Matt:17, He didn't come to destroy anyone/anything but to fulfill prophecy of His Father. God does not make us choose Him, We have 'freewill'. Satan on the other hand will continue to torcher us & those around us till we choose evil. Put on the Armor of God Eph 6:10-18, being guarded from satan devouring souls simply for he knows his Eternity & is angry wanting revenge. Loving God w/all our being, Mark 12:28-33 & of course John 3:12-21. It's not hard as prosperity preachers would have you believe. I for one enjoy learning truth. With His blood, Christ Himself said it best .. "It is finished".
You quote Job 39:12 and you assign the "seed" to being the word of God. What you are doing is 'spiritualising' a statement of God to Job that was a literal question being put to Job by God that required from Job a literal answer. As Job had none aren't you being somewhat presumptuous here in your claims as to what the seed and the barn mean? An illustration of God's questioning of Job is shown in the verses below:
Job 39:1 "Knowest thou the time when the wild goats of the rock bring forth [their offspring]? or canst thou mark when the hinds do calve? 2 Canst thou number the months that they fulfil [their gestation]? or knowest thou the time when they bring forth?"
Anyone can spiritualise scripture to make it say whatever they want it to say - but it doesn't mean that it is true. Therefore, I reject what you say about this verse.
In regards to your view on John 12:24, although Jesus compares Himself to a grain of wheat as you say, His death was aimed to bring "many sons to glory" ( Hebrews 2:10) through the new birth ( John 3:3-8). Jesus could not establish a glorious church on Earth through His people unless He died and was glorified ( John 7:37-39; Acts 2:33; Eph. 1). Christians today are expected to die as Christ did - but NOT in the physical sense but in the spiritual sense:
- In this, we are to crucify our 'Old Man' nature until "he" is DEAD - Romans 6:6.-
- If we haven't, then spiritually speaking, God sees us as "walking in the flesh" ( Romans 8:1, 7).
However, if we are truly "born-again", we will share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with others so as to bring more lost souls into God's kingdom. By doing this, we (as being that "corn of wheat) will then "...bringeth forth much fruit" - meaning, the lost souls into God's kingdom through personal evangelism, "...some [corns'] an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold. 9 Who hath ears to hear, let him hear!" ( Matt 13:3-9).
That's how I see it, Plaintalk.
