    Proverbs 30vs30 is all about focusing rightly without attending to distraction lion is an example to we christians.. lion is an animal that does not loose focus nomater what the situation looks like. without minding how big and tall the fellow animal he wants to fight is. He will go direct focus on the neck of the animal untill he kills the animal. Thats the way the life of every christian suppose to be. No matter situation and challenges your facing keep your gaze on what the word of God said about you. The bible said looking onto JESUS the author and finisher of our faith. He also said again those that wait upon the lord they shall renew their strenght their shall mount their wings like eagle. Their walk run and never weary

    His son 's name? His Hebrew name is Yeshuah or? Why do we use greek names and titles to name our Savior and Messiah? Why do we conceil his Jewishness?

    I love it but it concerns me because a daughter in law has been very unloving to my wife and my pastor son has not got the courage to stand up to his wife. It is heartbreaking.. My wife is a godly, prayerful woman. I fear for them!

    Proverbs 30 7 9 reassures us that God is well aware of our every need. We are all different, because God created us that way. He numbers the hairs on our heads. He will give us what we need, even if we don 't know what that is. Praise God!

    This is a wonderful scripture. Our God is a lion of the tribe of Judah; if the lion does not retreat before any, we have nothing to fear. With the shield of faith and helmet of salvation in place, we can confront any obstacle.

    An odious woman when she is married, and a handmaid who is heir to her mistress. This reminds us of Hagar, and Sarah. When Hagar became proud of Ismael, Sarah put Hagar out of the house. The bond woman was not to be heir with the promised child. In the fulness of time Isaac was born unto Sarah, and the promise was complete. The promise is complete when you place your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you become joint heirs with Christ. Only faith in the shed blood of Jesus at the cross will save you from being cast out of the presence of the Lord.

    THE ANTS DID NOT MAJOR ON THEIR LACK OF STRENGTH. THEY MAJORED ON THE LITTLE STRENGTH AND MADE THE BEST OF IT. LIKEWISE BELIEVERS SHOULD MAJOR ON WHAT THEY ALREADY HAVE AND USE IT TO GOD'S GLORY. WHAT EVER YOU USE HAS THE ABILITY TO INCREASE AND MULTIPLY. ANTS ARE SELF MOTIVATORS. THEY DO NOT WAIT FOR ANY LEADER TO SING THEIR PRAISE BEFORE THEY DO WHAT THEY KNOW THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO DO. THEY HAVE AN UNDERSTANDING OF THE TIMES AND SEASONS LIKE THE CHILDREN OF ISSACHAR IN THE BIBLE. ARMED WITH UNDERSTANDING AND KNOWLEDGE ,THE FORGE INTO GREAT PREPARATION FOR EACH NEW SEASON. WISE ANTS! THERE IS NO ROOM FOR LAZINESS AMONGST THE ANTS. THEY STICK WITH THEIR GROUP AND NEVER GET LOST, BELIEVERS HANG AROUND WITH UNBELIEVERS AND BACKSLIDE! NOT THE ANTS!

    There will be a generation that will seek to oppress the poor from off the earth. Jesus told us the poor you will always have. God has promised to be a buckler to the poor. Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the Kingdom of God. The book of James says that the poor, are rich in faith. So praise God because faith is our victory over this world. Thank God that we don't know what the New Year has in store for us, but we know who holds the future. The Lord will fight our battles, and we must stand still to see the salvation of the Lord.

    This second chapter of the book of Proverbs, is like others, depending upon what they contains. It invites whoever dares to believe, towards the God type of humility, where the eye gates, the ear gates and the mouth gate are used in such ways that their usages becomes pleasing to God ( Genesis 15:6; Hosea 10:12). In actual fact, it confirms that there are no other ways into getting in the things of holy righteousness except through godly obedience ( 1 Timothy 3:16).- and then such a person cannot but learn and conduct Himself in accordance with the Word of God. In other words how to walk in love, becomes known and imparted, in such a way that he conducts himself humbly, committed and, yet in agreement with the dictates of godliness. The reason being that, as far as the truths of God’s Word are concerned, there are assured blessings on the other side of obedience. God, will never default on His Word- hence it is wise and worthwhile to take Him at His Word. This reveals and signifies that, God, in His faithfulness, desires to bless and impart whoever loves and believes Him through Jesus Christ of Nazareth, and has the necessary knowledge and wisdom that pertains to the task He has for them. God is the giver of whatever good things that man is after on this planet that are in consonant with divinity. That refers to such things that pertains to life and godliness- thus the importance of hearkening to His Word ( 2 Peter 1:3-7). God is a shield and buckler to those that love and honor Him, Psalm 3:3; Psalm 18:2; Psalm 119:14; Proverbs 30:5; 2 Corinthians 1:20), and His promises, are yea and Amen. Blessed be the name of the LORD forever!

    @Afriyie,
    The best explanation on why certain versions of the bible remove or add to God’s holy word (King James 1611 version) is the men behind these versions are bold enough to usurp authority over God’s authority. Men have been doing so since 1881 under the umbrella of reasoning that they are doing society a tremendous service of providing (or perverting) man with easier to read and understandable versions (I dare not call them bibles) sometimes good men of God doing the devil’s work with good so called intentions. All they really have accomplished is to add confusion and doubt into the very simplicity that is in Jesus Christ ( II Corinthians 11:3). There is still a remnant that believes in ( II Corinthians 2:17). Take heed from Revelation 22:18, Deuteronomy 4:2, Proverbs 30:6.

    Thank God that He gives us what we need, and we should not strive to be rich, less we forget God; or poor then we would be tempted to steal. Just pray for just enough to satisfy our needs. Learn to be content in whatever state you find yourself in, whether abase or abounding.

    (Shane's comment on 10/26/2010)

    Shane,

    I may be of some help. To take the LORD's name in vain has nothing to do with titles like god or lord. They are titles. To take the LORD's name in vain is in Proverbs 30:9 Lest I be full, and deny thee, and say, Who is the LORD? or lest I be poor, and steal, and take the name of my God in vain. We take GOD's name in vain when we claim to be a follower but do contrary to His word. I hope this gets to you and is of some help. Be blessed my friend. :-)
