God promised never to flood the World again. But it is going to burn up. It already happening. IT IS NOT GLOBAL WARMING. The earth is responding to the WORD OF GOD, shown to Peter.
It's coming apart now: forest fires, worldwide droughts, polluted ground water from human belligerence; continent sized floating islands of garbage in both hemispheres. Earthquakes and Volcanos, floods: with increasing intensity. FAULTS once thought long dead will become active. As the end wars will be fought, we'll see space objects hit earth, our cities. Food will be used against us to force us to take THE MARK OF THE BEAST, ANTICHRIST. One world currency will be forced on us next. One world religion. Individuality will be no more.

You no doubt have shared with him on this matter & whatever his response, you will just have to leave it, since baptism being done for the wrong reasons has no meaning & will fool no one. Your concern & prayer for him, with your Christian life & witness, may in time provoke him to conviction & taking the Lord seriously. So you must continue to pray for him according to the burden on your heart & Spirit's leading, & standing on the Word of God when Satan tries to intrude or discourage you. Stay strong & true to the Gospel, which is indeed "the Power of God (leading to) salvation" ( Romans 1:16). But in all things, exercise godly love, faith, patience & meekness before all ( 1 Timothy 6:11, as given to Timothy by Paul) & let God deal with all your family in His Own way. You may be the only light from God that they will ever see & He's placed you there at this time for that very reason. Be encouraged & blessed in your witness.
I was reading in Genesis, the Holy Spirit stops me on verse 1. He said the 4 things
TIME: in the beginning__God set TIME ticking
FORCE: The Godhead created. (Father, The Word ( John 1:1) and Holy Spirit
ACTION: and the Spirit of God MOVED over
MATTER: earth, waters, atoms
God purposed, Word spoke: Light Be, and there was Light. (Purpose Spoke Light)
Carbon dating proves earth is around 2-3 billion years. Satan was around but he's a created being himself. He cannot create dinosaurs, cavemen or anything. My personal theory is: Romans 1:19-20. God put the artifacts in earth for us to find; oil for our cars, coal to be warm, fresh water for us and salted water for creatures.
We have to pray for scientists to see the Book of Romans. It's an occupation, as is archaeology, bio science, medicine. We are without excuse if we refuse to acknowledge The Godhead.
They're going to flip out when they get to heaven and see it's lighted up by the Glory of Jesus (The Son) and not a sun.
Jesus wants us to know this stuff because THE HOLY SPIRIT IS OUR TEACHER. All we have to do is ask Him. It's not a secret.
I don't discuss the giants because angels do not marry. We will be as the angels in heaven, in that we will not marry or procreate. Survivors of the entire Tribulation who have received Jesus as savior and managed to survive alive without mass murder by Antichrist will be taken to heaven in human reproducing bodies for 1000 years. They'll have to resist satans deceptions when he gets a short parole to tempt the still human. :D then Satan goes to the lake of fire forever. O happy days!
These present troubles are just temporary. Let's spread the Word to the Harvest and get as many in as we can. We're going to be living with The God that purposed all of this!

If you're referring to something you thought or did before you came to know the Lord, then I personally don't believe you are guilty of this. I think it's closer to the opposite of what the other commenter said. I think it's especially for Christians who already 'know better' and already know the truth, then reject it to the point of calling good evil and evil good and claiming evil motives- perhaps like an ultimate betrayal, and it might also involve denying the holy spirit within you. I hesitate to even write this as an example. A clear example of this blaspheming is Matthew 12:24 by the Pharisees. Jesus logically refuted it, but it's unclear whether He was saying the Pharisees then had no chance to go to heaven, because I don't believe they had true knowledge of the truth yet. I think it's possible Judas committed this as well. It's possible Peter committed this, but was forgiven in a special circumstance, possibly.
My Biblical support for this is Hebrews 10:26 and 2 Peter 2:20-22 and 1 Timothy 1:13 and Hebrews 6:4-6 and Luke 23:34. Maybe more here: Link
This is my personal opinion. Romans 1:20 could be used to suggest otherwise, but it's my opinion that it is only concerning knowing there's a God, not necessarily having the full truth of Jesus Christ and the holy spirit and then denying. I also don't believe falling away qualifies. I think we're talking about a full on rejection and I hate even the thought while writing this, but if it couldn't happen Jesus would not have warned us about it. God bless.
Yes, that's what it means. You cannot be held to a law if it does not exist. In Romans 5:13, it tells us that sin was not imputed before the law was given because nobody knew what sin was even though sin was still there. If there is no law saying you cannot steal, you cannot murder, could you still be arrested for those things? If there's no law, what can they arrest you for?
However, there was and still is a consequence for sin. The consequence was death. From Adam to Moses, before the law was given, people were still dying. Even though there was no law showing them their sin, there was still a consequence. It says that death reigned from Adam to Moses even though there was no law. Everybody from Adam to Moses died. That's a consequence of the sin. We physically die too because of that.
As far as judgment, everyone will be judged the same. No one will ever be able to stand before God with the excuse "I never knew." Romans 1:20 tells us that they will have no excuse. Psalm 19:1-4 says "The heavens declare the glory of God. And the firmament shows His handy work. Day unto day utters speech and night unto night shows knowledge. There is no speech nor language where their voice is not heard." So verse 3 tells us that there's no language or speech that God's creation cannot reach. Creation itself is a testimony that there is a God, a creator.
In John 1:9, he talks about Jesus Christ, that He was the true light which lighteth, or enlightens every man that cometh into the world. The word lighteth in that verse means to illuminate or to enlighten. He enlightens every single person that comes into this life. That doesn't mean that He puts understanding in their brain. It means that He manifests those attributes about Himself to our spirit, to the conscience, and man has a response. We might be totally oblivious to the response but we have one.

There is one aspect of reading the whole Bible & therefore gaining a working knowledge of its contents and another aspect of knowing all the intracacies of biblical Truth. I don't believe that on this side of Heaven, anyone can claim such knowledge, for often that runs very deep & we are not privy to all the circumstances, the people & the background in those accounts. Indeed, we need to always grow in the knowledge of the Word, but that takes time & shouldn't be an excuse to prohibit us from reaching out to others.
You have a very genuine love for the Lord & to share that love with others. Your testimony, your full belief in the Truth of the Gospel & the power therein ( Romans 1:16), & a readiness to speak with people where they're at in their lives, offering them the hope that you also have in Christ, is all you need. God's Spirit in you will surely delight to use you, for this is the very reason for His Coming ( John 16:8): to speak forth the Good News to those sitting in darkness ( Luke 1:79) - that you might be His mouthpiece to declare the Glory of God & of His Son & shine His Light. Yes, there will be testing times (Satan does not appreciate his dark evil domain being infused with God's Light), but "greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world" ( 1 John 4:4). Do you believe that brother? Then you can trust Him for not only that power to witness, but to minister to your family needs, job situation, rejection by others, & so on. Faith is indeed the victory that overcomes the world ( 1 John 5:4) & the Spirit in you knows this & will honour His Presence & His Word - that you will lack nothing & remain fearless in your walk in Christ. I leave this great Benediction with you - in Hebrews 13:20,21. Every blessing.

The KJV Bible is not Catholic. Not even remotely. Jesus said we are kings and priests. You can probably go on PBS dot ORG, and look for a program on THE VATICAN. It's like a real tour. They toured the basements too :O
