To wait on the Lord is to be in fellowship with Him and have a alone time with Him and being sensitive to His Holy Spirit within : Believing : Obeying : Submitting to Him : As your request has been presented to the Lord : He knows what is best : Do not make a move until you know that He has spoken : When the cloud moves : Pack up and move with Him : When the cloud stops : unpack and wait again : God does not do things in a hurry , hurry way. He knows what is ahead !!! He is always looking for our Highest Good : He knows what is best !!!

For some years, I was puzzled by the reference to a camel going through the eye of a needle. I saw it as a fanciful illustration. Then I discovered that in those days, the gates into the city were shut, but a small entrance in the gate could be opened to let in one person at a time. Yes, it was called "the needle gate". So, when the merchant arrived at the gate with his camel laden with his possessions, the camel had to kneel at the gate, whilst the merchant took all the goods from his back. Only then could the camel, with some difficulty, crawl through the needle gate, but the goods had to be left outside. I have always treasured this understanding that it is what we are, not what we possess, that is important. The worship of worldly goods must be laid aside if we are to gain entrance to the kingdom of God.

Father God I praise you for this verse today, and continuing to demonstrate to me your faithfulness and power. Your presence and love amazes me, and I am blessed to be called into your family through Jesus. Jesus thank you calling me to be your disciple and friend, nothing in life comes close to satisfying me as much as growing closer to you. The times alone that the Holy Spirit reveals the meaning of a parable or bubbles up truth from the inside are lifes most treasured times. As the world gets darker I pray that I become a brighter light proclaiming the gospel. I pray that everyone that reads this is given a relevation of how great our God is and how awsome it is to be in a relationship with Him. In Jesus name. Amen

Jim, If you accepted Christ in your life,he tells us not to fear. The devil is doing nothing but persecuting you so that you will be scared. The main thing I can tell you is get into the word of God and each time the devil is bothering you, you claim the name of Jesus, In the name of Jesus, I rebuke you devil, in the name of Jesus his blood covered my sins, and you pray to Jesus as much as you can in the name of Jesus. Keep him in your mind and heart constantly all day and night. The devil has to run in the name of Jesus...Pray the Lord's prayer over and over and ask God to guide you in his Spirit...I hope this helps you. I give Jesus Christ honor and praise, Amen

I love the true meaning of what the Rainbow stands for. It has nothing to do with Gay people, after all...God created it and he didn't create Gay people, Satan did that. I'm taking back what the devil has stolen!!!!

  • MockingBird on Psalms 37:4 - 10 years ago
To delight yourself in the Lord is to enjoy being in His word on a daily bases and in a set aside prayer time and obeying His word. When we do this then our desires will change to what He likes and therefore we will have the fulfillment of God's presence and joy of knowing that all we do will please Him : He also helps us get that way also : We are not called in this walk of faith to do it on our own : He is there with us all the way : He will go with us all the way : He gives us all things richly to enjoy !!

  • Alex Udumebraye Ogbon on Philippians 3:10 - 10 years ago
Without knowing Christ and the power that resurrected him from the grave our Christianity is empty and totally vain. Every believer should not only emulate Christ but also trudge on the true path he has paved for us, no matter the travails assailing us but this is our cross and we have been pre-equipped afore-time to prevail. Shalom

  • Lilian on Matthew 10 - 10 years ago
God doesnt want us to bless us only but he wants our Soul to be saved. Because of his love and mercy we are saved by his grace. His grace is sufficient enough, he only wants us to accept God and his words and seek the kingdom of God and all of our needs will be added. For God's words is more powerful than a sword. We must need Jesus in every moment of our lives and not only when we need something. We must thank Jesus everyday for everything he has done into our lives. His goodness and mercy will always follow us. God will save his own people for those who love him and keep his commandments. I will trust Jesus forever and praised him forever for he is worthy to be praised. Amen
  • Mike D on Psalms 119:90 - 10 years ago
How is God faithful? Every sin a man commits deserves the death penalty, however the LORD is gracious, and full of compassion, slow to anger, and of great mercy. He sendeth the rain on the just and the unjust. There is not a man or woman alive, that has lived, that haven't experienced the faithfulness of God. That would be impossible. His faithfulness is to each generation. In other words, there is no generation where God's faithfulness is absent.

I would rather dwell in house of the Lord and even have the yukiest job there is to do than dwell in the tents of wickedness : I had been in the tents of wickedness before and it is awful!!! Sin has pleasure for a season : And to reap the pleasures of sin for a child of God is not good. If a True born again child of God : you cannot continue in that sin.

what is so wonderful to me is that Zacharias recognized the angel and fell upon him, so if an angel appeared to us in a human form will we recognize an angel, personally I have felt the present of a host of angels around me for protection,it was an amazing feeling, because I could sense their presents around me.

Separating yourself from among them does not mean in isolation, don't completely isolate yourself from them. But, you don't do what they count as a normal thing. There is this adage that says and I quote "If you cannot beat them, you join them". Pls, don't join them because light and darkness cannot stay together, its a fact that darkness cannot withstand light.
  • Ja'Nine Crawford on Psalms 61 - 10 years ago
I was in the hospital in 2013 with multiple ailments and afraid to talk to God because of my sins. One night in the hospital, I cried deeply and needed God and there was a Bible in the hospital draw and I could no longer manage my emotions or illness, so I prayed and asked God to direct me so that I could speak to him and he did "it was like the Bible opened up by itself to Psalms 61 and after reading I cried even more but thanked Jehovah God for directing me to him again without fear. And, I was able to recover from most of my ailments beginning that night. This was something I could never forget and that is why I am reading it again now. I know he is my only refuge and I cannot give up on the supreme creator or myself.

Memorizing all of Psalms 34 is helping me through the toughest time in my life. It wasn't until I was broken, and reaching for Him, that I was able to see just how awesome God truly is. He was waiting for me with open arms the whole time. So much guilt and shame that id been carrying around for years, He has shouldered for me. I am learning daily how to trust Jesus with my life, and to surrender to Him fully. Knowing now, that He will never let me go.
