i would like to know what it means, the tree of life, and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the Nations, what does this really mean i would like to know please, this is out of the book of Revelation ch.22, verse.2.

Great question! I was just thinking about those recently & I realized a deeper thought about them. He said these things before HE actually lived them out as example, before HIS crucifixion.

Back in Genesis chapter 1, God formed Adam from DUST. Eve was taken from Adams rib, and God made Woman.

All colors of people's came from DUST!!!

It is entirely possible that people in Heaven are the color of dust. What are you going to do then? Heaven is decked out in all kinds of jewels, every kind and every color: rubies, sapphires, amethyst, jade, ONYX, etc.

The sermon Jesus gave on the mountain in Matthew chapter 5 begins with him pronouncing nine blessings known as the beatitudes. These refer to a state of happiness or bliss that only comes from submitting to God's will through Jesus Christ to express these particular character traits. Most of them are opposite the way the world thinks happiness is attained. In our own selves, we cannot really attain to them, but Jesus made the way when he died for our sins and rose from the dead, redeeming us to new everlasting life in himself.

James was Not writing to the natural tribes of Israel,As written to the 12 tribes scattered abroad but he was writting to the Church , In CHAPTER 5 he ask are there any sick amonst you ? let him call on the ELDERS of the Church, so we see that the Israel that was scattered abroad is in reference to the CHURCH . James 1:1 is definitely written specifically to the 12 Tribes of Israel. Do not fall for the modern lie that the twelve tribes are from Jesus's disciples, the USA, Africa, the U.K or from descendants of any religious group not ever from Jewish ancestry in ancient Judea, Palestine, Samaria, or Israel

They can't have been the children & grandkids of the 11 Disciples +1new one +Paul (they were promoted to Apostle status by the time of Acts) because most of the Apostles were single & celibate. It is impossible that the adult children, of the few Apostles who were married, had so many children, who then quickly spread out to so many nations faster than rabbits & locusts can in 18 to 20 years (year 32A.D/C.E to 50 C.E)

Acts 8:1 is usually alleged as the cause and beginning of those scattered tribes - but it is a nonsense explanation by those who claim it is because 1) those Apostles stayed in Jerusalem, and 2) the born-again Jews [who never liked to be called 'Christians'] ran off to hide in Samaria & Judaea. That's what "throughout the regions of Judaea and Samaria, except the apostles" mean. Jerusalem is and was a city - not a nation. From just before the time of Jesus, Jerusalem was in the country of Judaea. Both Samaria & Judea were part of ancient Israel and God knows the borders of his nation despite all the political changes throughout history. So, the persecuted of Acts 8:1 didn't and couldn't have travelled far into non-Jewish nations

The 12 Tribes of James 1:1 were already long established in non-Jewish nations. Generations of them. Their ancestors were refugees or slaves from different times of war & persecution. God occasionally punished the ancient Israelites (aka Jews) by expelling them out of Israel with many conquering enemies. Just before Jesus was born, it was the Roman Republic, followed by its Empire that took over Israel

Some Jews chose to stay in non-Jewish nations after dangerous times ceased. That's how Paul was born outside of Israel

Why is Saturday always the 7th day? Because we are told so.

The Gregorian Calendar that we follow does not allow for Saturday to consistently be the 7th day.

I suppose that we're aware of this fact but has little effect to any observance of the day. Sabbath is not an issue for me as I don't recognize it, & for those that do then it would be a case of "The sabbath being made for man, and not man for the sabbath" in respect of its meaning & observance rather than aiming for the actual day which may not be possible for all. But if you're able to adjust your weekly cycle for it, then it certainly makes it easier for you.

I'm sure there would be much value in considering the DSS, but as with anything relating to the Word, I rather err on the side of caution, & just focus on the Bible for my requirements. God is dealing with Israel. He doesn't need Gentile help. We should be grateful, because us Gentiles are being blessed huge because God has Israel off in a corner wondering why so many Gentiles are in love with Jesus, and follow him around like a flock of sheep.

BUT Soon, God is going to bring them in to Himself again. Then He will have ONE whole flock. That's His recorded purpose.

I do not see scripture that supports daily RAILING against the blind and deafened Jews of today Israel. Let God do as he said.

The 7th day Sabbath that I try to follow generally concerns 1) No servile work 2) not buying or selling / 3) resting 4) doing good works 5) honoring God.

3 and 4 I try to do every day.

I realize that I could be totally wrong about all of this. I don't think that God will fault me for trying though?

I am in the favorable position of being able to adjust for the (generally) yearly shift of the 7th day due to the Gregorian calendar.

I know exactly what the Psalmist means. I'm over sixty(60)years old and I never had any children. I live alone in A rooming house that I want to move out of ASAP. I hope I can move into A neighborhood where there are A lot of neglected children who are locked out all day so I can take of them and teach them good habits and do nice things for them. I want to teach them to study hard in school and be there for them and when they grow up and join the adult world and I get old and need someone to be there for me at least some of them will return my kindness and take care of me.

Greg, that was very informative & thank you for your troubles in explaining the Solar Calendar from the Book of Enoch & other references. I guess I've never looked into this matter since I don't regard the Apocryphal books as part of the Canon of Scripture. I can see a lot of interesting information therein (such as you have explained), but in all honesty, I could never reference them or use them in ministry. But your time given to explain that is appreciated though I don't understand everything you said, & agree that that is probably the more accurate method to determine our true calendar days.

With that said & this year's Sabbath falling on a Monday, how does this fact affect you in keeping the Sabbath (in respect to conducting life & business which follows the Gregorian calendar)? Or, would today's Jews keep the Sabbath according to the Solar Calendar? Surely, they must adhere to the Gregorian to conduct business as they would be 'all over the place' in every aspect of life. What you have presented is mind-boggling as I've never considered folk working with two systems like this, if at all.
