VERY INTERESTING,

Darkness could never understood how God, the creator of all that exist could have left his home in glory and became flesh to suffer and die to save mankind, darkness could never understood how mankind transgression, iniquity ,curses, sickness and sin could be destroyed.Darkness could never understood how God 's wrath could be removed from us and that we would become sons of God. It never knew how, when and where the Death and Hell would lose its power and man would receive the salvation from the Lord and be free from their burden of sins. Darkness could never understood God 's love for us. Praise God

This shows how mercy full Jesus is. He went on doing miracles, signs, and wanders. For those to believe that did not believe unless they were shown. He went out and preached the Word, he delivered the captives from demons, he healed the sick. He was in the world but not of the world. AMEN JESUS LOVER 4EVER

In verse 21, John states he is not Elias nor is he The Prophet so where in Scripture does it say who Elias is and where in Scripture does it say who The Prophet is?

Not a Greek expert but the Holy Spirit helps me understand this verse. In the beginning was means just that the Word already existed. This is proved by verse 14 that says "the Word was made flesh. The only thing you can reasonably conclude the the Word was Jesus pre flesh.

I believe what John said then is what the believer should be saying today that Jesus is on His way back and just as the people were unprepared then so is the modern church today unprepared. We need to set our house in order and go get the sinner and let them know that the Lamb has come and now the Lamb Judge of all the earth is on His way back and He Jesus Christ is coming for a Holy people . Now what will you be doing when Jesus come..

JOHN 1-18...I really like reading John, it seems like his written words has a calming or mellowing effect on you, along with the power of the Holy Spirit that seems to make his word clear and understandable, and answers a lot of questions that I see people asking in their comments. Everybody needs to take the time to read the book of John because it would really help clear up a lot of confusion in their beliefs. AMEN!!

I really love reading the book of the Gospel writer according to Apostle John.i will enjoy more qiuz on the book of John and also on every books of the Bible.John letter was written to the whole world as a Gospel letter.whereas Matthew,Mark and Luke were written to certain scribes as the Jews,Greeks and Gentiles.i personally believe that John the beloved wrote more about the Deity and Humantarity of Jesus Christ the son of God.

even those the land of Nazareth was known as a bad place but with jesus something good came from it.

I believe in any bad situation with Jesus in the mist of it something good is going to happen all you have to do is believe in Jesus and accept him.some people donot beleive in Jesus so they have douts but I am gald that I accept and believe in Jesus and any time there a problem I know with jesus its will turn out to be good.

Scripture Search: Those who hurt the least of my little children will have the wrath of God and be judged by God.

All translations say the same thing considering verse 1:18. "at any time " means "at any time. " No mystery here. Is there anybody out there that can explian that differantly?

Jesus is the son of God no question about it the sacrifice was gods sending of his son to die for us it 's in plain English

This tells us who Jesus is and where he came from.

It humbles me knowing that Jesus was there at creation, saying "YES " to what He was going to have to endure for us...for me...saying "YES " to creating a worm like me...saying "YES " knowing that He would have to suffer and die so we can all have the ability to accept His free gift of love and eternal life. He 's so incredibly worthy of praise!

A correction on my previous entry. The statement God makes " this day have I begotten thee " is referring to the resurrection of Jesus. If Jesus is created he cannot propitiate Gods wrath toward sinners. If God is a singular there is no sacrifice to be offered thus no hope.

Jesus was preexistent with the father and the holy sprit from all eternity. Any view that attempts to make god into a singular being or make Jesus into a created being is a theology that can save no one. If Christ was not the God man then his sacrifice has no eternal efficacy. The term "this day I have begotten thee " is in reference to Christ staring his ministry. If Christ is not eternal or if he is created he can save no one. GOD THE FATHER, GOD THE SON, GOD THE HOLY SPIRT, BLESSED GOD THREE IN ONE.

JOHN 1-18...Jackie, is that really what the scripture says, 1. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2. The same was in the beginning with God...Beyond this we are totally in the dark! to say otherwise would be to say that you were their, but we do have the account in the scripture: And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God. Whatever transpired in GOD 's Kingdom before the overshadowing of Mary was a planned event by an all knowing God and the willing WORD, who knew full well what HE was subjecting himself too! But also knowing what had to be done in order to redeem man from certain death and separation from God. I really don 't think satan has a thing to do with it, READ John again, the Word was God! We do not have the capacity to understand this, I know because of our vanity we like to think we do, but you can 't even get the Obedience part right, you think you are living in God 's will, but are you really, are you observing the Commandments of God, read it for yourselves, those will be the only saved, those that keep the Commandments of God , and have the testimony of Jesus, and don 't deceive yourselves, because if you keep the Sunday rest, then you are keeping man 's commandment not God 's PRAISE OUR HEAVENLY FATHER AND HIS HOLY SON AMEN!

an interesting outlook on my namesake

It amazes me their questions to John. They didn 't believe in the resurrection, yet they were testing John to examine every single word. Even in the last days we are living in, we have the Word of God, yet many questions, could this be possible that prophecies from the Bible are happening right in front of our eyes? And for those, who did not believe Jesus was the Messiah, might still be wondering, could this be signs of the Messiah coming to establish the kingdom? I believe because of people 's ignorance, Jesus will come to take His bride, and the remaining left will still be wondering, could that had been Elijah? Could that had been the prophet? Let 's pray for the Word of God to reach the hearts of the unbelievers and through the Holy Spirit may reveal through their hearts Jesus is, was and is to come! Amen!

This is Jesus Christ connecting himself with God. And He is the light that shines in unto man. And using John as an example for us who are believers of The Christ. To salt the world. With the gospel of Jesus Christ.

i think of john 1 is helping me thank a lot that god has the power and god is willing to help more people. God love us so much that he will always help us in bad times and good times. I 'm so happy that god have change my life and he always there for me when i need him the most.....praise the lord my savior

God is the light of the world who shows Himself through by His Word in the manifestation of His Son Jesus Christ and redemptive power removing our sins in return providing His Grace and Mercy what a amesom God and Father.
