The apostle Paul emphasized the same truth. If we suffer, we shall also reign with him if we deny him, he also will deny us 2 Tim. 2 12 . The passage teaches that those who endure persecution will inherit the kingdom, and will rule with Jesus. Those who melt under pressure will not inherit the kingdom. Christ will deny them the privilege. Paul implies the same in Rom. 8 17 where he identifies all saints as heirs of God but only suffering saints as co heirs with Christ. Cr. Hello Bill You are correct about Jesus. However, meek and lowly of heart does not mean that you do not get angry. Jesus Christ is God manifested in the flesh. God not only killed men and women but he killed children as well. Jesus Christ got angry and drove them out of the temple and overthrew tables, Matthew 21 12 And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves, Our Lord and Savior is a God of much mercy, grace, and also of vengeance. He will come back and destroy this heaven, earth, and throw everybody who is not found in the Lamb s Book of Life in the second death. This is reality. However, through all of this he is still giving people a chance to be saved by following Acts 2 38.

Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth Matt. 5 5 . Meekness has two aspects. First, is the sense that, as individuals, we are no better than anyone else. All are on level playing field with God. Second, meekness is the gentle treatment of others on the basis that we can trust God to judge evildoers and to work in other believers as He works in us. Think of Jesus, Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again when he suffered, he threatened not but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously 1 Pet. 2 23 . Our Savior was meek and lowly of heart Matt. 11 29 , and He will produce the same spirit in us when we let the Spirit take control.

Hello BSP, Amen Jay, and Alicia Goldbourne The only way to truly please God is to get saved. A person has to be born again of water and spirit in order to be saved. A person has to follow Acts 2 38. Romans 8 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God . Faith without works is dead, James 2 20 "But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? The devils believe and tremble. A person has to be covered by his blood by following Acts 2 38. Then a person can truly please God.

We aren 't happy in persecution itself but we are happy when we are being persecuted for the sake of Jesus. The personal satisfaction of knowing we are doing what will make him happy results in us being happy and having his blessing.

There was a time that I was hungry and thirsty to know the ways that the world did things and to become a part of them and do what they do. It led me to death and destruction YUK !!! God had mercy on me and brought me out of that miry pit !! Now I have a desire to be like Jesus and to do what He and my Heavenly Father does and to know Him better every day and to walk with Him Walk with Him Walk with Him !!!!!

GOD is amazing. Imagine sitting with Jesus for this sermon and walking away amazed at the truth that the Son of God is with us.

James 2 5 Hearken my beloved , Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith I do have a spiritual need for the things of God I do not ever want to be filled up so that I may never want to know my Lord Through out all eternity I will always be learning new things from my Lord. That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven. Meaning we are acting like them, by going to church while we are living different. we gave up our right to judge and get mad trying to defend our self when we ask The LORD TO FEEL US WITH HIS PRESENTS. Mathew 5 is all about love, mercy and forgiveness. That 's why, in the end, the very last verse, Jesus says, "Be ye therefore perfect even as your Father which is in Heaven is perfect. " God is perfect, and God is Love. "He that loveth not knoweth not God, for God is Love. " So, loving one another is perfection. When you love one another you are keeping every jot and tittle of the law. "For he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. " "For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this, thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. "For this, thou shalt not kill, thou shalt not steal, thou shalt not commit adultery, and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this statement, thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. "

Hello Jack Rosenthal The true Christian does try to help. However, not everyone that cries Lord, Lord shall enter into the kingdom of heaven, Matthew 7 21. Those who are stewards over things do not know or try to forget the following scriptures. People would honor Deuteronomy 15 11 For the poor shall never cease out of the land therefore I command thee, saying, Thou shalt open thine hand wide unto thy brother, to thy poor, and to thy needy, in thy land . They would fear what God states in his word about those in charge that do not pay a decent living wage to people Malachi 3 5. They would fear what God will do to those who delay the payment to people, Leviticus 19 13. They would fear what God will do to those who fraudulent withholding of wages James 5 4. They would fear what God would do to them for exacting service without wages, Jeremiah 22 13.

Is there anyone at all who follows the dictates of Matthew 5 42? Even Christians who believe that all the statements of Jesus are the inerrant word of God do not even try to follow it they do not believe it they claim it doesn 't mean what it appears to mean.

Hello Samson Jesus Christ is God manifested in the flesh. 1 Timothy 3 16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. If I can say it like this, the fleshly body of Jesus is called son because the Bible states it. Jesus Christ is one being that holds all three offices. As the son Jesus Christ nursed the breast of Mary. As the Father or God Jesus Christ made the milk that he nursed from the breast of Mary. As the Holy Ghost this is his spirit in which he poured out on the day of Pentecost to those who where in the upper room and he continues today pouring out his spirit upon those who truly repent. The Holy Ghost name is Jesus Christ, John 14 26. In the end, there is only One Lord, one faith, and one baptism. In the end, Jesus Christ is God manifested in the flesh. There is no three beings in the Godhead in which we need to worship. There is only one being and the fullness of the Godhead bodily dwells in him, Colossians 2 9.
