November's are hard for me. Everyone wants me to come to their house. They're all spread out in all directions. Act hurt if I don't show. I barely eat, so I inflate like a turkey. I'd rather be here to be honest.

I believe he was tempted after. He was at his weakest. The Bible says he hungered (not thirst). He drank water.

Humans generally need water every 3 days. The kidneys shut down first.

The angels ministered to Jesus after his confrontation with satan,

    2 Chronicles 7

14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will HEAL THEIR LAND.

15 Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attent unto the prayer that is made in this place. (USA)

16 For now have I chosen and sanctified this house, that my name may be there for ever: and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually.

    17 And as for thee, IF THOU wilt walk before me, as David thy father walked, and do according to all that I have commanded thee, and shalt observe my statutes and my judgments;

18 Then will I stablish the throne of thy kingdom, according as I have covenanted with David thy father, saying, There shall not fail thee a man to be ruler in Israel.

    19 But if ye turn away, and forsake my statutes and my commandments, which I have set before you, and shall go and serve other gods, and worship them;

20 Then will I pluck them up by the roots out of my land which I have given them; and this house, which I have sanctified for my name, will I cast out of my sight, and will make it to be a proverb and a byword among all nations.

21 And this house, which is high, shall be an astonishment to every one that passeth by it; so that he shall say, Why hath the LORD done thus unto this land, and unto this house?

22 And it shall be answered, Because they forsook the LORD God of their fathers, which brought them forth out of the land of (SIN) Egypt, and laid hold on other gods, and worshipped Them, and served Them: therefore hath he brought all this evil upon THEM.

We could fix this if we would repent as a nation and turn it back to that moment when people refused to salute the National Anthem or the Flag. We've been ripping everything we held sacred, to pieces ever since.

1962, the Bible and saying the Allegiance to the flag got kicked out of public schools. It snowballed from there.

I'm sad to read of the loss of your dearest Patty & also of the emptiness that's in your life. These are the tragedies & griefs that come to us as we continue on in our mortal bodies & there is no escaping the pain, except for the heavenly balm that the Lord gives to His children & the hope that is set in our hearts for our future life in His Presence.

"But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him" ( 1 Corinthians 2:9). What a blessed indescribable time that will be, when we shall see the LORD God Whom we love & the nail scarred Son of God Who secured our salvation. And praising him forever with the saints that have gone on before us & we also see our loved ones in glory.

Isaiah 61:3: "to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified". I pray that God's Spirit might minister to your sorrow & emptiness, filling you with hope & praise for all that lies before you.

  • Ask the Holy Spirit to find you a Church - In Reply on Galatians 5 - 5 years ago
This is a subject everyone tries to prove this day or that day.

The Bible also says, don't forsake gathering together. It didn't instruct a certain day.

In my evangelical experiences, it is more important to attend a Church that actually opens the Bible and teaches the scriptures.

I do not believe a Church that expounds on marriage counseling, parenting, being an active citizen in projects: not growing their lambs up into full grown sheep; to follow the Shepherd who is Jesus Christ. We have such a short time to help our children know who Christ is: before they have a public school try to beat it out of them. Parents are pastors too. Deuteronomy 11:19. The first churches were in homes.

The Bible is supposed to change lives; put life into the perspective of our Saviors Life and Ministry. Acts 2:42-47

Our lives will default back to simplicity if we turn off the tv and actually talk to each other. Refuse cell phones to teens till they can pay for it themselves and for the monthly service. It's not cruel. It teaches responsibility, good credit rating, budgeting time, balancing time to earn money, do their "jobs" to pay their bills. Life skills 101.

I have a hated sermon called: don't end up on the Dr Phil show. My Dad always told me "I'm doing this for your own good". Forcing me to learn car maintenance 101. I miss him so much. I taught it to my son and he was 21 when he bought his first house. He taught his 7 yr old to fix a leaking toilet last week.

Kids just want some of your time, you know? The rewards far outweigh the laundry waiting 1 day. They're so smart if you pour yourself into them. Kinda like Jesus did with his disciples.

My first solo street ministry ended with me telling a group of drunks they were going to hell. Later I was Dejected! The Lord said: are you done doing it your way? I was hearing him in my spirit! I said, Yes Sir!! My life has been sad. I met Jesus. It's been the best since then.

The Jews generally pray facing Jerusalem, as Muslims do facing Mecca. The Scripture that Jews use to support this is found in 1 Kings 8:35,36: "When heaven is shut up, and there is no rain, because they have sinned against thee; if they pray toward this place, and confess thy name, and turn from their sin, when thou afflictest them: Then hear thou in heaven, and forgive the sin of thy servants, and of thy people Israel, that thou teach them the good way wherein they should walk, and give rain upon thy land, which thou hast given to thy people for an inheritance".

Other supporting Scriptures: Daniel 6:10 and Psalm 5:7

When Jesus prayed, He looked up towards Heaven, even though He was in Jerusalem when He could have faced the Temple. ( John 17:1). Also, Luke 9:16. However, when the eyes of the Jews are opened & they see, recognize & put their faith in Jesus Christ, then their eyes will no longer be turned to Jerusalem.

We're not told why Hannah was barren; she may have been as many women in the world are in all ages. Yet, we do know that God does have a purpose in our lives & for our lives. What we might consider an impediment or a disadvantage that we have that others don't have, may well have a reason behind it, for that which we are not privy to. And especially as we give ourselves fully to the Lord for what we are & all that lies ahead in our lives, then we know that all that comes to us is known of the Lord & allowed for a reason.

In hindsight, we could then say that Hannah had to be brought to the place where her grief was so great (v10), that she had to be cast upon the Lord for help. And at that time, in the Lord's Plans for her & Israel, that grief, that pleading, that vow to the Lord, would be the catalyst that would put the Plans of God into the next phase, that of giving Hannah's body the ability to form an embryo. And true to her vow to the Lord, young Samuel was dedicated into the Lord's service. What if Hannah didn't vow to do this? Or she just continually wept over her predicament & led a miserable life with Elkanah? God could have still raised up a prophet to fulfil His Plans, as we see in the account of Esther (Esther chapter 4): that if Esther didn't approach King Ahasuerus about the great plight of the Jews, then God would give them deliverance "from another place" even though Esther would have suffered for her refusal. I somehow see a similarity to what would have been Hannah's fate of miserableness had she not performed that which the Lord put on her heart.

I can't be give a specific answer to your questions, but as I've read that passage, it seems that during the forty days & nights that Jesus was in the wilderness, He would have become increasingly hungry - as any man would be. He would have drunk water in the interim as the body cannot survive without it. And it could have been that during those forty days that Satan approached him with the first test of turning the stones into bread to satisfy that extreme hunger, or it might have been at the end of the fast (which I tend to support).

There is too little narrative about this part of Jesus' time in the wilderness, as the focus no doubt, is on His thwarting of Satan's thrusts against Him to cause sin to enter Him. Had Jesus failed here, He would have been disqualified to be our Saviour, & God had no other means to fully meet the payment of our sins & our acceptability to Him. Jesus withstood Satan, not regarding his own needs, all for our sake. Even while on the Cross (the last & greatest attempt by Satan for Jesus to spare Himself from further suffering & death), Jesus remained resolute in His Calling, as Hebrews 12:2 says in part, "for the joy that was set before him (He) endured the cross, despising the shame". All for the love for those who put their faith in God through His death.

As long as we have corrupt people in power (& I speak of those who have not the fear & love of God in their hearts & lives), we will have unjust laws & practises applied. We have been in days for a very long time now, when the guilty are considered of greater worth than the innocent. We have judges, in some countries, scared of losing their lives if they give a harsh sentence to any who can retaliate against them personally; they have bodyguards around them continually. We have politicians & other govt. officials who care little about true justice with their careers being more important. We shouldn't wonder as to the moral & judicial degradation in our societies - it must happen when the godless are in power. "As the government, so are the people - as the people, so is the government": both go hand in hand. We know that righteous rule will only come with the Lord Jesus Christ on His Throne on Earth, when the hearts & minds of people will be revealed & judged with true Justice. His mercies still prevail.

Have a look at the following passages:

1 Corinthians 5:1-7. Noting verse 5 which speaks of evidence of fornication in the Church, that the Church is required to take action against the offender. The Church is to resign him into the worldly kingdom (of the Devil), not for the purposes of total rejection & eternal damnation, but to the end that the sinner might come to his senses, repent of his evil, turn back to the Lord & therefore restored into fellowship with God's people in a holy environment. And a further letter by Paul, which we think he might have referred to the same instance in his first letter: 2 Corinthians 2:6-8.

1 Timothy 1:18-20. Paul speaking of Hymenaeus and Alexander, who blasphemed against God, making their 'faith' totally worthless. Paul said that he "delivered them to Satan for the purpose that they may acknowledge their sin & repent.

Romans 16:17. This verse doesn't specifically put out a vile person from the Church, but says to avoid them that cause divisions & teach what is contrary to true doctrine. This is done so that the person may be shamed for their behaviour & so will either cease from doing those things or leave of his own accord. Also 2 Thessalonians 3:6.

Titus 3:10-11. Again here, a heretic should be first warned, not once, but twice, & then despatched if they refuse to repent.

All the above Scriptures were penned by the Apostle Paul to believers & we believe that the apostle wrote & spoke with the full authority of Jesus. So discipline in the Church is necessary & if not administered correctly & swiftly, then sin will affect the whole Body, corrupting it with false teaching - we see so much of it today where extra-biblical sources are used in teaching or the Word of God is twisted to suit their own ends, & the Church then becomes altogether pathetic & useless.
  • Esau versus Jacob on Revelation 1 - 5 years ago
Just following up on the great Esau and Isaac discussion.

You can Google Esau's history, marriages, MAPS OF EDOM, where he moved to. Fact that his future had been within Palestinian cultures. Google Edom; Edomites

Saul and David fought wars against them.

If you are Student of modern day clashes between the Israelites and Palestinian, it's been going on for 2000+ years, till now.

A lot of people skim over the verse that says Esau purposed to murder Jacob as soon as Isaac died.

This explains all the bad blood boiling in Israel and Palestinian lands: because of THE COVENANT of the LAND, God gave to Abraham. Abraham made Covenant with Ishmael because he was the son born with Hagar the surrogate; who was Palestinian. His inheritance would be given to Isaac upon death.

THEN this jealousy replicates between the twin boys: Esau and Jacob. Esau was just going to kill him...BUT the bloodline of Jesus was through Jacob. Check genealogy; it's in the Bible.

You shouldn't throw pity parties for Esau. You should pray for Palestinians to be BORN AGAIN, ASAP!!! I looked at EDOMs history and it will blow your fuses. Only God can keep up with that.

This is the final battle that will be fought. Armageddon will happen as written. The only problem is the Russians want full access to sea ports, all the way to Africa. China wants a piece of that pie so they can sell their merchandise. Read of the New Silk Road they've completed. They're going to move in a million man army. I don't have enough room to continue this. We do know how it ends; prophesy students do. The sad thing is, that Joe Biden will try to force Israel to comply with plans Obama and he attempted, to fund the war between Israel and the signers of the ABRAHAMIC ACCORD. It's moving faster now. Pray! Pray!

Get your families & neighbors saved. Google how much money Obama's administ. Gave Iran. Follow the money.

    Esau/Edom is Israel's enemy.

  • The love of God - In Reply on Jeremiah 31:3 - 5 years ago
    Hosea 11:4

I drew them with cords of a man, with bands of love: and I was to them as they that take off the yoke on their jaws, and I laid meat unto them.

    Jeremiah 31:3

The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.

    Comment:

These are 2 of my favorite prayers to pray for people that are running from Gods Love. I ask that the Holy Spirit to draw them to God so they may find all of the Love they ever dreamed about; truly belonging, and to never fear again of losing that love. A love steadfast and true. Jesus loved the children in His arms and lap. To which the Pharisees admonished him not to.

The essence of is love is worship. Only unrepentant sin can threaten. If I sense a distancing, I turn back immediately, repent and I'm restored. We don't have to beg. God loves His children.

How to be a better boyfriend:

    1. Love her through actions.

Walk your talk. Avoid lies and broken promises because they will certainly break your girlfriend's heart. If you want to be the best boyfriend for your girl, be a man of action and give her pure confidence.

    2. Work your love harder.

Do you miss her? Why not do your best effort to be with her? Being together with your girlfriend is better than telling her you miss her through texts, Facebook messages, and other virtual channels.

    3. Love yourself.

Girls are naturally caring people. They will love you and always want to see you well. If you know how to take care of yourself, it will be easier for her to love you more. Hence, keep yourself healthy inside and out. Stop smoking, heavy drinking, gluttony, indolence, and other habits that will slowly destroy yourself. Don't make her worry about you.

    4. Love her family and friends.

It will make your girlfriend's life much easier and happier. Loving her family and friends means showing respect and kindness rather than rudeness and envy to them. Love also means rejoicing with the truth and not delighting in evil.

    5. Introduce her to your family and friends.

Let her know and feel that you're happy and honored to have her as your girlfriend. It will also give her the confidence that you're serious and she's your only one.

    6. Know her better.

Knowing is loving. If you know your partner better, it will make her feel that you're very interested in her. It also shows that you are paying attention, listening, and watching over her. So do your assignment to know her dos and don'ts - follow the first and avoid the latter.

    7. Let her know you better.

Be open and transparent. Let her know your details. Let her see who you truly are. If you really love her, you don't need to hide something. Let her also accept you for who you truly are.

    Enforcing Life. ( Prov. 17:22)

Mix thoroughly with faith and authority. To be taken by word of mouth as often as needed to maintain health and life.

Body, I speak the Word of Faith to you. I demand that every organ perform a perfect work, for you are the temple of the HOLY GHOST; therefore, I charge you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the authority of His holy Word to be healed and made whole In Jesus' Name. ( Prov. 12:18).

Father, I resist the enemy in every form that he comes against me - I require my body to be strong and healthy, I enforce it with Your Word. I reject the curse, and I enforce life in this body. ( James 4:7).

I will not die but live and declare the works of God. (Ps, 118:17).

You have forgiven all my iniquities; You have healed all my diseases; You have redeemed my life from destruction; You have satisfied my mouth with good things so that my youth is renewed as the eagles. ( Ps. 103:2; 5).

Lord, You have blessed my food and water and have taken sickness away from me. Therefore, I will fulfill the numbers of my days in health. ( Ex. 23:25, 26).

    Understanding the Principle

Now that you have gone through the scriptural confessions, let's look at the principle that could be the key to you being a partaker of God's provision concerning your healing.

There is probably no other subject as important to your healing and health than the principle of CALLING THINGS THAT ARE NOT: We see in Romans 4:17-22 that Abraham became fully persuaded that God would do what He had promised. The way he became fully persuaded was by calling those things which were not manifest as though they were.

    Blessings on you, mishael
