Your quote of scripture in context ( Psalm 65:1-3)

"Praise waiteth for thee, O God, in Sion: and unto thee shall the vow be performed.

O thou that hearest prayer, unto thee shall all flesh come.

Iniquities prevail against me: as for our transgressions, thou shalt purge them away."

Let us keep in mind "thou shalt purge them away"

I now refer to Hebrews 1:3 which speaks of the Son's accomplishment:

Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

The words "when he had by himself purged our sins" puts Jesus Christ in the place of the 'Elohiym of Psalm 65.

The pharisees attempted to reason this out in Luke 5:21:

"And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this which speaketh blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?"

It is a rule with miracles, as well miracles of the Spirit as miracles of the body, that God never does what others can do. As long as there is strength left in the natural laws God does not go beyond them; but our extremity is God's opportunity. In verse 12 of this chapter he seems to imply that he doesn't want the people to turn away from their sins and be healed. Why is that, because He had said earlier the the sick need a physician not the well and that he cam to call sinners to repentance? I could use some clarification.

Nehemiah was an Intercessor. He stood in the gap for the children of Israel and he fasted and prayed persistently. The scripture said he prayed day and night.

Nehemiah repented of his sins and the sins of his people and he reminded God of His promises. This is a great example to believers because Nehemiah sought God before doing anything else.

This is so great..!!! I just can't stop rejoicing in the Lord my God for His wonderful promises to me! When i feel so lost and away, His word renews my hope and trust in Him.

Yes, i see what you have listed. If you open a Bible and look up the book of PSALM it does not have an "s" at the end which means you are spelling it wrong. I would like to post verses from your site but the book of PSALM is not spelled correctly.

The prophet Micah has to deliver the strong message of judgment as the poor people are being abused by the rich. The famous verse Micah 6:8 What does Yahweh demand of thee? to do justly, love mercy, and walk humbly before our God. This is the message that is needed today with the income inequality that is happening. May God bless the President to do just that in his administration. God bless America and may we come out of this Coronavirus pandemic a more blessed and thankful people as we prepare to celebrate the Holidays.

I read Genesis and other books at a snails crawl, PLUS I read every reference to those scriptures. Write it down chronologically. Then I pray for the Holy Spirit to show me how it happened.

It takes time! I love to study. I love to uncover mysteries. It's in my dna. When I was drafting (18 yrs), the boss would drop table-size drawings on my desk to redraw because the engineers had trouble making underground jobs work. I call it spaghetti drafting. Dump the whole bowl out, start at the beginning, draw it to scale to the end. I identify all the branches. I love details, but I love God greater than all that. I'm eternally grateful He pulled me out of the pit and set his love on me. Means more to me than my life. I died, but He resurrected me and He is my north arrow. I wish I could explain better.

I let go of the world. I've been single 37 yrs. Studying Gods Word (Bible) for 36 years. Nothing else satisfies better than the things that God will reveal. I wait days to hear or see Him show me things. I go days without food. Daily life interrupts. One time the Holy Spirit sang: There's Room at the Cross For You. The pure sweetness brought tears of deep joy. Any thing I learn; I share it.

Like now: you are going to LOVE heaven. He has spared no effort to make it leave you breathless at the Beauty, the detail of each creation. There will be food even tho we don't have to eat or drink. There will be music, dancing, wild abandon of pure joy. Nobody is jealous, petty, impatient, no disdain. It really is heaven.

Live for Him now. Let the world go. Help others be ready to go with Jesus now. That's what He intercedes for: the Harvest.

wow I have never seen so much of a ruckus over the only Bible passage in Gods word telling you how to study it....Oh your cutting up the bible...NO IM Understanding the different events in it..I have lost some good friends over this really is a sad thing ...

These 4 different soil conditions where in response to the Pure word of God , not teachings found elsewhere . So we are talking about reading or hearing the scriptures. That's the safest form of the word . Others can speak as God gives them ability as well , but the scriptures are the best always .

The 1st person that the seed fell on the way side was open to interpretations and it never sunk in and they lost everything. The devil has many answers that seem convincing to a person of little knowledge of truth . He takes full advantage of their ignorance.

Blessed Assurance:

Matthew 7:6: "Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you."

This verse is part of the message that Jesus gave to his disciples & those who wanted to listen to Him (message starting from chapter 5). So in 7:6, Jesus spoke about those who were undeserving to receive God's Truth (Jesus referred to them as 'dogs & swine'). In those days, both animals were looked down upon & were 'unclean', especially swine, so Jesus' use of these words would have given a lot of meaning to His message. And Jesus spoke about "that which is holy" and of "pearls": again the Jews knew about holiness, both attributed to God's Words in the Old Testament & to how one should live before God.

So Jesus is saying that if there are those that don't just refuse the Truth, but actually become violent & disgusting when hearing it, these people should be avoided - you should not persist in helping them to know about Heavenly matters. Those people would only treat the message as filth, trample upon it & could even turn upon the disciples. And this would be useful for the disciples to know, as Jesus even spoke about the time when people would reject their message & they were to turn away from that city & shake off the dust off their sandals ( Mark 6:11).

Today, we have a wonderful Gospel message to give to all people that will save them from Hell. But most will reject it & some even turn violent against it & us. Jesus says in Mt 7:6, that we should never force His Message, & even turn away from them if you can see that their hatred for God & His Son are evident. Don't fight them - turn away & leave them as those Hell-bound. Maybe at some future time, they will have their hearts touched & changed to receive God's Message.
