  • Marriage and Divorce - In Reply on Psalms 1 - 5 years ago
If he was an unbeliever and divorced you; you're ok.

If he beat on you regularly, you're ok.

( you're called to be at peace)

    You're not going to hell.

Matthew 5 and 1 Corinthians 7 have divorce or marriage info.

Busting up a marriage for other reasons; you may qualify for adultery, if you both were Christians at the time.

Jesus forgave a woman caught in adultery.

No one could condemn her except Jesus; and he forgave her.

Confess, and Pray for forgiveness. I usually say to meet with your Pastor for this. It helps to hear some wise counsel. Vows before God are very sacred and binding. Our society disagrees. Follow Jesus and your conscience will always be at peace.

    I hope this helps. Mishael

Suicide is murder but, whether that individual is sent to hell or not is totally up to GOD.The Father is very intelligent and knows the heart of one who commits suicide, as he knows the hearts of all of us. GOD takes into account of everything that lead the individual to self murder. His thoughts and ways are nowhere near ours, therefore we can't know what will happen to anyone who takes their own life. Our Father is righteous and fair and takes everything into consideration and I believe will judge accordingly

Sometimes my daughter can be unkind and loose her temper with me easily. She is a Christian and goes to church. I do not know if she has quiet times with the lLord daily. I love her Ery much and pray for her a lot. I do not understand though why she in an instant lashes out at me and says things that really hurt me. I know there is a root of bitterness there and I pray she will let it go and forgive me. Please agree with me in prayer about this. I am 74 years old now and I do not know how long I am going to be around on this earth. I am frustrated about her anger towards me. If I would bring it up to her she would get very angry and say I was to sensitive and self absorbed. I do trust tHat the Iord will help us with this problem but I do not know how. Thanks so much and The Lord Bless You. Diane L.

It says God gave them up to a reprobate mind, I looked up the meaning or the word reprobate and found about 17 words describing that scary condition. If God gives someone a reprobate mind does that mean they are doomed and won't seek repentance or is their mind so far gone that they are happy where they are and can't seek repentance. The definition also said that calvanism says they were predestined for hell. So my question is no matter what the sin if God gives you over to a reprobate mind does he also take away the ability to repent and just leave you happy in your sin not wanting to

Alex comments on the written word and the living word, Jesus said search the scriptures ( the written word ) in them you think you have eternal life but it is them that testify of ME WHICH IS THE H.G. the living WORD, REMEMBER he said the H.G. will testify of me, My words are Spirit and life but there is no eternal life in the scriptures the written word, doncha see that if eternal life were in the written word our lord shed his blood in vain and the cross was just foolishness. Jesus was the LIVING WORD made flesh and blood a Celestrial being not a terestrial being. I am not of this world you are of this world but i am not of this world you are from beneath i am from above he told the jews. The bible is precious and holy but there is no eternal life in paper and ink, eternal life is only in his blood which is the living we are made clean by his WORD OR HIS BLOOD. Natural Israel were sola scriptura but they stoned almost every prophet that God sent them and rejected the Christ so much for the written word,Mary was not impregnated by the written word but by the living word, Christ Jesus is the LIVING WORD made flesh and blood not the written word made FLESH and blood true Redemption can only come by his blood,Behold the lamb of God that taketh away the sins of the world i love the bible but it cannot remove the sins of the world . That good seed is the living word not the written word. Its answers to the 2 lights the lesser light is the written word, But the greater light is the living word. But Jesus said if we walk in the nite light th lessser light we are gonna stumble rememeber David ok gbu

    Rob,

I do not ascribe to any Tribulation speculation or theories. Back in 1988 they tried to predict that was the year. Didn't happen.

If we predict wrongly, people get discouraged, angry or might think they can sin for the next 2 1/2 or 7 years.

I looked for Tribs in the Bible and found none. It says: be ready, be looking, watch and pray, have your lamps full of oil, thief in the night is when? 6pm to 6am? Time zone?

    Hemisphere?

I think Jesus's way is the best. Just be ready. Be watchful. Rightly read the signs of the times.

I printed the Trib options to show how we cannot answer that question and be sure it's the right one.

One note, the Abraham Accord, signed by Israel with some Arab nations (recently) is for 7 years.

Relative peace. Let's keep an eye on that.

I'll be in the prayer Request Room if you miss me :D lol

    +Bless you abundantly+

Is it "God and human reasoning & logic" that you're thinking of? Often, the two don't go together - one is from the Divine, the other from the Earth. One is the Creator - the other the created. God's Actions & Wisdom in what he does far surpasses what we do or think, or could even hope to achieve.

If we try to rationalize everything from creation & the appearance of living & non-living things to the future of man & the world he will live in, we'll come up with very different answers to what is declared in the Bible. Scientists have proffered their theories of the distant past & we have an abundance of 'prophetical voices', including those of mediums, who 'foretell' the future. All these may be acceptable as human nature searches for answers, any answers, for the reason for his existence, but to challenge the activity of the human mind & declare that after all is said & done, the voices we hear are only from finite men.

One would have a hard time, for example, convincing the creationist or the evolutionist to side with the other. We remain convinced by what we choose to believe & as such willing to accept all that is given as evidence. What convinces me as a 'creationist', is that God's Word is proven true because of its claims as God's Word. Man's word, based on his limited knowledge & many questionable mechanisms to reveal the past, gives me a rather shaky confidence in his abilities to do that work. I would rather that man concentrate on understanding his known historical past & present, thus learning from his errors or his virtues, than delve into the unknown & presume to be wise from his observations. What grieves me the most is that our children are being taught that which is produced from man's knowledge, rejecting what God has to say & declaring it a result of fables & old myths.

The day will come, when "the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped" ( Psalm 63:11b), & the world will know the God of Truth & the God Who makes & sustains all things.

    The Godhead Scriptures

    Genesis 1:26, 3:22, 11:7

    Isaiah 6:8

    Romans 1:20

    Colossians 2:9

    Acts 17:27-30

    1 John 5:7

    John 10:30

There's only 10 scriptures proving it.

However I found another one tonight.

Wow...eleven Holy Scriptures; Divine and Inspired. Written in the Bible on paper and not altered by people.

  • Spiritual WarfareAuthority of the Believers in Jesus - In Reply on Psalms 80 - 5 years ago
When Satan was hurled to earth, he took 1/3 of the angels in heaven with him. It could be billions? They died in the flood and became evil spirits.

Throughout the gospels we see they can get into people or harass them. There are lots of books and material on YouTube, covering the subject of spiritual warfare. Ephesians 6

What is not taught as much is the AUTHORITY of the Christian believer over these invisible spirits. We can see the fruit of the demonic in these street riots going on in our cities. The crowd that screamed for Jesus to be crucified was demonic. Satan thought he had killed the Son of God at last; but on the 3rd day Jesus came out of that tomb!

I don't think we should be demon conscious, but be Jesus conscious and use the Authority He gave to us to pray for ourselves and others.

Be disciples of Jesus and be filled with the Holy Spirit. We can ask the Holy Spirit for the Gift of Discerning of Spirits: there's human spirits, angelic spirits, demonic spirits.

Demons don't have bodies. They'll get inside of animals or people. They can't get in a born again, Holy Spirit baptized, Christian follower of Jesus, full of Bible scripture and knowledge of their AUTHORITY in Jesus Christ.

I do mean we need to be able to quote scripture like the Son of God, say IT IS WRITTEN and send those demons into outer darkness!

Jesus has provided everything we need to know in the Bible. We're supposed to know why we have armor and use it. His BLOOD is HOLY and no demon is going to challenge the POWER that is in that Holy, Sinless, Blood of the Lamb of God!

Again, be God conscious. Study. Get informed. ASK the Holy Spirit to teach you this truth. Desire the best gifts He has. Learn what they do. This is how we pray for family, our kids, our friends, strangers, our nation. Read the red letters in the gospels. Jesus defeated Satan! Grow your faith.

Isaiah 14:16. Some day we will see satan and be astonished we were so afraid.

I thank the Lord for using as a vessel to help others find Christ.
  • The Prodigal Son - In Reply on Genesis 1 - 5 years ago
Beloved, please tell your friend that Jesus took all his sins at the Cross. When he received Jesus as his Savior, he threw our sins as far as the East is to the West; which is a straight line into infinity. He dropped those sins into the sea of forgetfulness and remembers them no more.

He is the Alpha and the Omega, and he sees our lives from beginning to the end... including all of our sins. Blaspheming the Holy Spirit is bad, but sincere repentance is possible.

He's a Prodigal Son who needs to come home to ABBA; His Father who's waiting for him.

Most of us have been on that road ourselves. Even me. That road back home is hard because every step taken, Satan cries loser! Sinner! He'll never take you back! Fool, Dreamer! Reminding us of all we said or did.

But then you see your Father on the road looking for you...and running to greet you.

Tell your friend, that he is forgiven and will be restored. LUKE 15:18-32

I'll pray you find him soon.

Please forgive me. I know the Apocrypha Link is on this website but I prefer to only study the King James. The Apocrypha does not have a Commentary on here. I would've had to Google and read a lot of material.

There was a lot going on that day, which is no excuse for my comment. I appreciate your reply.

Please pray for my Grandma and Grandpa. Please pray they are doing well and nothing is wrong. Please pray for them. Pray for the rest of my family also because it has been a rough day and pray all is well. I thank God because an injury led to doctors finding a serious problem early on in my family member. Pray that everything goes good there and it may not be as serious as it is thought. Also pray for myself and that I can put everything in God's hands and trust him in every situation. Please keep my family in your prayers in the coming days. THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS

EXODUS 30, 27, killing people instead of allowing them to repent for sin for what they have done. I thought God was supposed to be someone of peace and loving, not death. Death is the Devils way!
  • Bendito Palavra - In Reply on Genesis 1 - 5 years ago
The reason the sin was unpardonable is that by blaspheming the Holy Ghost they were deliberately rejecting their only means of salvation. This is analogous to refusing the lifeline that could save you from drowning.

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. ( Romans 5:8-10)
  • Daniel Raymond Gibbs on Exodus 31 - 5 years ago
EXODUS 29, What dose the killing of Animals have to do with God. This makes no sense to do this horrible act. I have never heard of any such act committed in the name God within my lifetime. Why are they not doing this today in churches, if this chapter demands it must be done!
  • Selena - In Reply on Revelation 16:16 - 5 years ago
It definitely makes NO sense to me- *abstinence* aught to be taught to our youth in public schools and instead of having a gay "pride" club to confuse the young teenagers about their own perceived sexuality...and giving away free condoms like a perceived license to fornicate and commit adultery. What these young people don't understand until later on in life is that sinning against your own body has consequences, it's so sad. May God lead these young people onto the straight and narrow path that leads to eternal life with JESUS, instead of the wide path that many walk on which ultimately leadeth to destruction..

No matter what, I know God is Good, and his will will be done on earth as in heaven in Jesus name.
  • Anthony Williams - In Reply on Genesis 1 - 5 years ago
My friend was cursing at God a couple of times. Think out of anger rather than actually coming from his heart. Now he feels he can't go to heaven never. He believes in God, and Jesus died on the cross for his sins. He believes he's committed the unpardonable sin. He reads his bible and turned his life around to the Lord since this happened years ago. I haven't seen him over a year but he tells me that he feels fear of not going to heaven.

Angels are fighting demons in sky so since demons die and don't come back. Where are they coming from. Do demons procreate? Yes
  • Anon - In Reply on Ezra 1 - 5 years ago
If you believe your personal understandings and beliefs to be the only true way, then as a Christian, why not pray for others instead of spending time condemning them. I have seen your comments over the past couple of weeks and sometimes wonder, rhetorically, what your exact intent is, here. Spurring and encouraging others is understandable. Speaking ill of others and their personal beliefs is not so ethical nor conducive in proving Your personal understanding and beliefs. If the proof is in the pudding, some may have different tastebuds. Some more sensitive, some less. Some tastebuds may be confused as to what the exact flavor is, but they know for sure there is some good pudding..

My comment in no way is meant to be rude or a personal attack. Just a few words from a loving brother.

    God Bless
