    That is really stretching it. No one Loves Jesus more than I; I even have the cross on the wallpaper of my phone. I am also a student of the Bible, but it is what it is. Don't you realize the Jesus is the son of God? Why do you think he is called as being of the family of God? Half of his life is do to the Holy Spirit, which is of God the Creator.

    Alan, from the reading of Scripture, I would say that the early Church & the present Bible believing Church viewed Christ's salvation, its operation & its application in the very same way. However, there were those in that early Church, Gnostics included, that wanted to corrupt its meaning, to which Paul was pained to address that important issue. And specifically, some would have the keeping of the Law, circumcision & traditions as part & parcel of this new faith. Galatians chapter 2 gives a clear demonstration of Peter's hypocrisy in this matter, to which Paul had to take him 'over the coals', as what Peter was requiring of the Gentiles was in direct conflict with the meaning of the Gospel of Salvation, i.e. that the Cross has set us free from the bindings & consequences of the Law. If then, from your question, "the early Church did not view salvation as the western Church does" is your belief, then if you could provide some evidence of this please?

    As well, I did not understand your other question: "where did the doctrine of original sin come from?" If it's not from the Bible ( Rom 5:12-21; 1 Cor 15:21,22), then I don't know from where else.

    Truth, when Satan is kicked out of heaven he comes to deceive the whole world as Revelation 12:7,8,9 tells us and he stands in Jerusalem claiming he is God and with the power he has the world will be deceived. Satan returns as a false messiah and he doesn't care about killing you he wants worshippers. Don't go and don't follow Satan. Wait for the true Christ store food for 3 months and pay your bills up when you see the events begin because he is going to have a one world system and you don't want to follow him if you love Jesus. The time was shorten for the elect sake to 5 months as the book of Revelation tells us.

    Jesus is like an adopted son of Joseph. I got this from the Jewish Virtual Library about adoption, "Once a child has been adopted, the adoptee must be treated as if it were biologically the adopter's own. The adoptee is required to honor and respect his/her parents in accordance with the laws of the Torah."

    As to his earthly identity, it follows that Jesus is indeed Joseph's son and belonging to the tribe of Judah in the lineage of David.

    (7) And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.

    God divided the waters (people) which were under the firmament (the unbelievers) from the waters (people) which were above the firmament (the believers).

    Jesus said He was from above while those who did not believe Him were from beneath.

    John 8:23-24 KJV

    (23) And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world.

    (24) I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.

    As God divided the waters, we also must not be unequally yoked together (those who are above with those from under the firmament) with the unbelievers of the Word of Truth that we hear spoken from above. The firmament or expanse is the opening up of our ears to the hearing of the knowledge of God spoken from Heaven. Belief/faith comes from hearing and hearing from the Word of God.

    2 Corinthians 6:14-15 KJV

    (14) Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

    (15) And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

    The waters were divided as God calls us to come out from among the unbelievers of the Word of Truth and be separate from them. What communion does light have with those of are of the darkness?

    2 Corinthians 6:17-18 KJV

    (17) Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,

    (18) And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

    Ed - I know we can not "lose" our salvation like you lose your car keys or a wallet.

    However can we throw away our salvation?

    Revelation 3:5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

    (Seems our names can be BLOTTED out of the book of life)

    I do not care what sinners prayer anyone says, if they take the mark I believe their are doomed.

    Sadly Millions of Church goers do not believe they will ever have to make this choice to refuse it.

    Is it true, the early church did not view salvation as the western church does. If that is correct how can we say today faith alone(if that was never heard of in 20AD)

    Also, where did the doctrine of original sin come from?

    Baal meant Lord and was so associated with satanism the Lord said not to call him that anymore.

Always pray for wisdom, knowledge and understanding from God in every aspect of our lives including and most importantly our words so we won't be like the foolish ones who use their mouth to profess their own ruins and destruction.

    First of all, this isn't a place to discuss personal things; however, I remember what needing help is like and not knowing where to turn. Any sexual relations outside of marriage is sin. Period. If you feel you need to help your ex there are plenty of ways besides giving him a place to lay his abusive head. After we accept Christ and are saved, God expects us to change... move forward and not look back. You already know right from wrong. Do it.

    Have you seen a dermatologist yet? You need to. You could be allergic to some of the products you've used.

    Try using very Mild products like baby shampoo and baby cream rinse.

    If the hair is long or thin & brittle, keep it shorter till hair health is better. Google a Diet that supports a healthier scalp. Take a daily multivitamin for you. Boost your immune response.

    Apple Cider vinegar (50/50 with water) fattens the hair. Leave it on for 30 minutes and rinse it out.

    I'm not a doctor; so see a dermatologist soon. All this worry is not good.

    There are Many verses you can be praying over your body, Every Day. Our prayers are straight out of a Bible. Move your true dependence on God, through the BLOOD of His beloved Son: Jesus. When your stress level soars, say out loud:

    "I plead the Blood of Jesus from the top of my head, unto the soles of my feet." ...Satan has no power over me anymore. My life is hid in Jesus Christ of Nazareth, now!

    Put a bookmark in PSALM 31. Turn your dependency to the Word of God. Pray it; Live it. As often as you need to.

    REVELATIONS QUESTIONS???

    I am unable to fit all Tribulation events (Seals, Trumpets, and Vials) into a 7 year time period.

    A 7 year time period is not given in the Book of Revelations concerning the Tribulation.

    The Book of Daniel refers to this time period as the final "seven" of the "seventy weeks" ( Daniel 9:24). That final 7 has been going on for over 2000 years.

    In the "midst of the week" does refer to the middle of a set of SEVEN years when the sacrifice and the oblation will cease, and this refers to the 7 Vials of Revelations 16:1-18:24 which are poured out at the END.

    In addition, Jesus said that the time of the "Great Tribulation" would be "shortened" ( Matthew 24:22). We find that this particular time (after the 5th Trumpet and the 1st Woe) is shortened to "five months" (Revelations 9:5). Where does this factor in?

    The period of time covering "Jacob's trouble" ( Jeremiah 30:7) is 20 years; It could be seen as 13 years if the first 7 are not counted; because they seemed "but as a few days" ( Genesis 29:20). Could this be a more plausible time period for all events to take place?

    Patricia, I am praying with and for you asking God to restore you hair quickly and better than before. My devotion this morning was in Ephesians 3:20-21 "Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus." He is able, we are trusting in God's power and His love! I will also pray that our understanding of quickly be comprehended with Jesus' timeframe. Many God's blessings to you on this journey of trust, faith, hope and love!

    Yea, I'm like you. I'm not really sure how many bibles I have. They are all KJV bibles except for one Living Bible. That one just collects dust on a bookshelf. I'm not too sure why I even still have it. I guess out of sight, out of mind. I can't give it away because if it's something I won't read, I wouldn't want anyone else to read it either. I'd throw it in the trash but I'm afraid the guy at the dump would get a hold of it.

    I do sometimes look at other bibles to make comparisons. I have four different bible software programs on my computer that have tons of different bibles and other books. There is a free online program you can download from e-Sword. That is one of the programs I have. It gives you several bibles, and many other books that I find helpful.

    I have heard good things about the NKJV but have not read from that one. Chris may have, I don't know, but I do trust his recommendations.

    To this concerns; i want to share how i know and believe speaking into existence, well for Mothers day, my o me a beautiful rose bush, but it died after a few days, but for some reason i kept it outside on balcony, 1 day i decided to water and speak life into it, so i came home from work after the 3rd day, and 1 flower had blossomed onto the bush, i was so amazed by this, but i for some reason had the faith to believe this word i spoke to the plant would come to life, and it did. Glory be to God.
