Read Jeremiah chapter 10 as it was the Jews first celebrating so called Christmas long before Rome existed. Rome adopted this from the Jews who had rejected the scriptures sadly. That was why the Lord allowed Jerusalem to be destroyed in the Babylonian captivity.
This below covers the SUNrise services of easter I believe
Ezekiel 8:16 And he brought me into the inner court of the LORD'S house, and, behold, at the door of the temple of the LORD, between the porch and the altar, were about five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of the LORD, and their faces toward the east; and they worshipped the SUN sun toward the east.

For a detailed study on Genesis chapter 3 may I suggest: "the 2 seeds of Genesis 3:15" by Charles Lee Mange
not for lukewarm Christians and if you have never read the entire Bible then I suggest you ignore this since it is detailed as a study.

5Consider how far you have fallen!Repent and do the things you did at first. If you do not repent,I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place.

To those who read thoroughly and understand the scriptures, read the words God himself wanted to explain.

5Look at where you feel like you're back from the start, but have been pushed and sunk further because of the guilt and burden of you not increasing your faith in him.Look back to where you've first found his true meanings that rose you up his faith, and never make the same mistake that led to your fall again. But if you don't come back to the top again, that God had given you that was the same as ever, then you'll never return.

To the angel of the church in Ephesus write:

These are the words of him who holds the seven stars in his right hand and walks among the seven golden lampstands.2I know your deeds, your hard work and your perseverance. I know that you cannot tolerate wicked people, that you have tested those who claim to be apostles but are not, and have found them false.

1He has revealed to me the meanings of this verses

"These are the words your God who you knew through Revelation said to you.2I know you've sacrificed, have been hurt and worked hard. I know that you can't be or join with the people you have the absolute hate 'cause of their sin, you've saw them as "church girls" but were sinners.

David, God created everything and has the power to create or take life, and we don't have that power- you aren't God. Since you're claiming God is 'bad' for random things that happen in the course of nature, do you equally thank God for your life, for food, relationships, making you and giving you each breath of life right now? Or is it just one way, you ignore all the good He's given you, and just want to blame all the 'bad' on Him? I'm sure you know that youre 100% going to die and our time on Earth is just a flicker compared to eternity. Innocent people like children who die go to paradise in heaven. "natural disasters are always the poor" - that's false. Why do you not give God credit for anything good?

Paul in 1 Thess 2:14, 16 - For ye, brethren, became followers of the churches of God which in Judaea are in Christ Jesus: for ye also have suffered like things of your own countrymen, EVEN AS THEY HAVE OF THE JEWS: WHO BOTH KILLED THE LORD JESUS, and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; and THEY PLEASE NOT GOD, and are contrary to all men: Forbidding us to speak to the Gentiles that they might be saved, to fill up their sins alway: FOR THE WRATH IS COME UPON THEM TO THE UTTERMOST.
So is Paul cursed for speaking the truth about those who killed jesus?

Proverbs 16:20 Says He that handles a matter wisely shall find good. And who so trust in the LORD happy is he. The lord prays the prayer of Intercession for us each day. Surely his prayers will be answered for your son. In the meantime. Your son is trying to find something and he needs the freedom to do so. We need to be the hands and feet of Jesus to him and not the mouth piece. We should let our kids know I want a better life for you . But its your life you choose I will love you right in this situation. Then I would trust God to handle the matter as I place it in his hands to fix. Laying down my burdens to him. Knowing that He love my son also and will get him home safely addiction free.

It is interesting that people waited till evening to bring the sick to be healed. People were afraid of something? Perhaps there was a division between the people the poor and the rich. The rich being those affiliated with the church? Christs words have just enough salt, to convict the guilty. They would rather throw Him off a cliff then to hear anymore His word. The holy spirit describes what happens when the individual is convicted of sin. The power in the true word of God! It is sharper than a two edged sword! It will severe joints from the marrow! It will bring you to your knees! Oh you faithless generation of vipers. How shall you escape so great a God! His kingdom shall have no end.

In Hebrews we learn that God has given us "today". Previously man lived by seasons & times. Remember his will is for us to worship him. He gives us today to receive the gift of eternal life.To come for the fulfilment of abundant living. To enter into his discipleship & commandment of walking in his love. As in any generation, today is our hope and could be answer. He is seeking us always, are we going to submit to him as an individual, nation, or world!? Friend, nothing would please him more than to be your God & to lead us out. John 3:16🕊️
  • Diante Dingle on Hosea 4:6 - 6 years ago
Seems straight to the point which in regards leads me to the fact that throughout history god has shown his kindness, mercy and wisdom and has shared his words with everyone as well as blessed people and because people have pushed god away and hardened their hearts god has given them over to a debated and vulgar mindset that i wouldnt even wish on my enemy that means america is in this conversation because we stand as a christian nation and slowly have turned our back on god then given into gay marriage and so many other things that anyone could see what god is doing to everyone who has forgotten his laws. May god have mercy on america

Lies,lies,lies.... We have all been taught lies in relation to Christmas and Easter. No where in God's Word does it say to celebrate Christmas and Easter. Both come from pagan rituals which were adopted by the Church of Rome dating as far back as 325AD. We call ourselves Christians, yet we want to follow Him our own way. It's time we follow God according to His Word. I challenge anyone to show me in His Holy Word that we are to celebrate Christmas and/or Easter. Do your homework and you'll find TRUTH!!! Again, let us all ask God for eyes that see and ears that hear.9

I do think the Tsunami was a bit of a mistake.. don't you think?

And what about the Corona Virus?

And the way that the Church has consistently covered up child abuse? And gotten away with it!

If God had done all those things on purpose.. well... that would be very hard to forgive. My guess is that God is not bad, he just does take his eye off the ball sometimes. Means we need to learn to think more for ourselves and learn judgement and common sense. I think that is what a good God would want.
  • David Orren - In Reply on Philippians 4 - 6 years ago
Adam.. we all make mistakes. Does not mean the vulnerable should die a horrible death. Just learn from our mistakes and hold ourselves accountable for how we behave.

But who is holding God accountable for the misery he creates for millions of people? Why is it Ok for him to create terror across the land? How does that 'punish' in any sensible way? The people who suffer natural disasters are always the poor, not those who live well at the expense of others. How is that fair? I am sure you agree that does not make sense.
  • David Orren - In Reply on Philippians 4 - 6 years ago
It seems to me that being good to other people is just plain common sense.

We do not need a God to be good. Just need to use common sense.

Why do Christians need to be afraid of God in order to be good?

Perhaps many were beaten as children and made to be afraid?

Children who are not beaten or made to be afraid but treated kindly can and do grow up doing the same for their children. No need to be afraid - or make others afraid - in order to be good.

Its common sense to be wary of those who would make us be afraid in order to do what they want.

Common sense and treating other people as one would like others to treat us is sensible. Be with people who treat you with respect.
