Hi Antonio The word disciple implies disciplined one, keep in mind the the original twelve went from believing then

to following then to disciples. They became disciples because they began to discipline themselves to what

Jesus Christ was teaching and to a degree applying, even Judas until satan tricked Him was trying. So the answer to your

question is those of us who choose to discipline our lifestyles according to Gods Word and Walk in renewed mind

in the faith of jesus Christ are present day disciplined ones. God Bless

    Hi Bro Alex,

Thanks for your response. You have a unique perspective on this scripture. Your take is quite different from my more orthodox interpretation. I've never looked at it, or thought about it in the manner as you are stating. I will think and pray about it, and let the Holy Spirit guide me along my journey.

I do believe that our fleshly bodies are sinful and defective, and hence our physical bodies will die. I believe our souls will be resurrected, and if we receive HIS favorable judgement, then Jesus will again blow life into us, but this time the life we receive will be eternal life in His Kingdom!

I really don't believe any of us have all the answers, and that is why we need to fellowship and share our thoughts. It is my belief that when we share God's scripture and our "own unique interpretation" we can all grow in Knowledge and in God, as we continue to get closer to the end times.

In summary: I truly believe that if we close our minds to others because we think we have all the answers, that is the time we stop growing.

    Colossians 1:10

"That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;"

    1 Peter 2:1-2

Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings, As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby

Gigi Thanks but the reality for me is it wouldn't have made a difference, I Know [ginosko by experience my God and

my Saviour] and what I operate and how it works so if some one else agrees that's fine if they don't so be it. To me

it's not what someone knows what do you show.

    Hi Alex.

As you stand for what you believe in I will do so as well. It's natural that We clash considering what we believe in!!

You and I went over your thoughts on scripture months ago. I pointed out an error in your interpretation of what seems to be your foundation verse, Which we have seen you do from time to time,

We also have to be visual and beware of methods from what the Bible calls enemies of the faith. Because of their Doctrine or practices They set traps.

These verses come to mind .

2 John 1:10. If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:.

Jude 1:3-4. Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.

For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

Lemme give ya my view on luke 17 : 34 kjv The 2 woman are really 1 woman that has given birth a baby Christ the wheat. As the wheat will be gathered to his barn the Kingdom But her other spirit is the tare that is gona be burned up in his furnace of fire . REMEMBER Jesus said let them grow TOGETHER till the harvest thus the Woman is 2 grinding at the MILL.

And likewise the 2 men in one bed is really just 1 man that has birth Christ in his heart but satan has given him another person with in him a tare thus he is really 2 persons . The wheat is a baby Christ a lil one unless ya receive the Kingdom as a lil Child etc. The tare is given to satan to be burnt to ashes as our God is a consuming fire . But his other spirit is the H.G. that goes to the Kingdom . Remember Paul said i see another Law in my members waring against me which is the tare that wars against us thus we are 2 . Romans 7

    Hi Brother S Spenser,

Sorry, I couldn't answer your previous post/response - as the previous thread regarding this topic of discussion was closed.

I do agree with you, and also Jesse, I believe the scripture below relates to the 2nd coming of Christ Jesus. The scripture you attached also clarifies it in my understanding even more.

    Luke 17:34

"I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left."

    Luke 17:35

"Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left."

As you may know over the years, some have alluded to possible homosexual evidence to this scripture above. GiGi weighed in previously, stating that it was not uncommon for people to share beds, as they were a short commodity during the time period. This makes sense.

To expand, I was curious about this scripture in Luke, and got sidetracked a bit, and in I my research, I found scripture in the OT specifically regarding the usage of the word "grind" or "grinding" relating to sex. The word seemed to be a slang word see related scripture.

    Job 31:10

    Judges 16:21

    Lamentations 5:13

In researching this further, I do believe the the word grinding was a valid slang word for sex during those days. I'm still not sure if Luke was really referring to this in his scripture. I also compared it to the alternate scripture in Matthew, where Matthew states" grinding at the mill" whereas Luke did not add the "mill" in his composition.

    Matthew 24:41

"Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left."

I'm leaning toward - there may be no sexual undercurrent in this scripture as some people may think.

    God Bless

Hello Gaylin. In Daniel chapter 11, we read that the angel (of Daniel 10:5,6) had come to give Daniel words about the future kingdoms: of Persia, verse 2 (3 + 1 kings: Cambyses, Pseudo-Smerdis, Darius the Great plus the fourth, Xerxes (same as the one in the Book of Esther).

Then of the Grecian Kingdom (verses 3,4): Alexander the Great.

The Kings of the South & North (verses 5-20): the Ptolemies (of Egypt) & the Seleucids (of Syria).

So without giving you anymore detail which you may not have interest in, the King of the North doesn't refer to Satan but to actual kings of Syria, which included Antiochus I (v 6), Antiochus III (vv 15-19), his son, Seleucus IV (v 20), & Antiochus IV (vv 21-35).

But you're correct about the King of the South referring to the Ptolemies of Egypt. However, your last statement about "all unbelievers converting to Christianity by the miracles of Satan" is incorrect & doesn't have any connection to this passage in Daniel, nor anywhere in God's Word.

    Dear Inquiring

What do you call a female heritic? Are we that far gone ?

Woman have never had some heritic, and never had requirements for it. May some country.

We are not evan close anymore. But after the Lord stand up from the cross. It was a lot of them according to the church. They was burned on the fire, they were tortured and lost both fingers and toes. Put on stick. Some even life. We are talking about the dark age. 1200, 1300, and maybe before.

Witches are the name, and today most of their teaching is gone. They did good healed the sick, work by theyr hand, prayed, but was a rival to the word and faith of God, according too the church .

Many of the Apostles is strengthens this in the Holy Scriptures. May someone other here on the web site know? Besides word that Paul writes in

1 Chorintihans 12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

We today is not evan close too what Paul had and lived in every day. Beside from some country's.

God bless u and yours in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ. He is the King forever and ever.

Hi Messaye. This verse in Luke 21:19 can be read as follows: 'by your patient waiting & endurance, your lives will be kept safe'. Israel had been through several wars & skirmishes since Jesus spoke those words, the first of which was in AD 70 when Titus of the Roman army ransacked Jerusalem.

But Jesus was speaking to His disciples (both to the twelve & the larger following - Luke 20:45), of the much longer term when there will be much persecution & false arrests of those who followed Christ. Even though Jews have endured much suffering & death over the ages, Jesus promises to keep His followers then & those now who have repented & turned to Him in faith, in care & safety, that with patience & waiting they endure these hardships till He come.

And who determines what clothing is strictly for men and what is strictly for women? The Bible does not itemize what is men's or women's clothing. Each culture throughout time has its own norms, and these norms can differ between cultures of the same time period. Something to think about.

Hi Grace. Maybe Jeremiah was thinking of the spirit behind those hoardes of people that were set to take David's life. The word for 'people' in Hebrew, allows for 'people, nations, army, creatures', so the singer might be wanting to emphasize the demonic motivation of the many seeking after David's life. Though clearly unfaithful to Scripture wording, he probably saw the spirit behind their quest which needed emphasizing.

If feminism means that women should be entitled to & hold equal rights & privileges in society as men, that cannot be contradicted or argued. Even "in Christ", there is "neither male or female" ( Galatians 3:28) as both are one in equal standing before God & receivers of His Goodness.

But if feminism implies more than this, then it's the workings & lusts of one's heart & not according to God's Word. Such pursuits can never 'destroy Christianity' because it then has to stand against what is revealed in the Word & the Standards set by God. Feminism might seem to have some effect on Christianity, but if it does, one should ask, 'what brand of Christianity do we refer to?' Is it according to God's Word & God's pursuit of man or on man's word & his pursuit of God? If "the gates of hell cannot prevail" against the Church (or, the outworking of our faith of God in Christ), I sincerely doubt if feminism or any other 'ism' or evil threat, can overpower what God has established & will both now & ultimately be victorious.

I haven't seen that scripture thst you query.

Just use the Search Box on the red page.

    I am Abraham

    I am Moses

God is a consuming Fire. He is Spirit. He is the Father.

It's going to fetch many many scriptures. You'll be well informed after reading all that.

There's a link on the red page you came in here with. BECOME A BELIEVER

It has answers to most questions about eternal security, through the Word of God.

The SEARCH BOX on that page can fetch answers from scriptures. To find info on Noah, Noah's children, "The Caught Up In The Clouds (rapture),

Book of Life, etc. To read the same subject with numerous similar scripture, widens your view/knowledge on that subject.
  • Mishael - In Reply - 4 years ago
Moses wrote the Book of Genesis. I believe Moses and God collaborated.

We can Google who wrote the books in the Bible. The history is just as compelling as the written Bible.

You can Google the Geneology of people like Cain, his wife, kids, and etc.

Use care which historical accounts you read. Find a Christian writer of history. Not Catholic, Mormon or others like that.

Hello Walter. You wrote: "if someone is first and last all they are stating the(y) are the only one." If Jesus has stated this (as in Revelation 1:8; Revelation 12:13), could He actually be identifying completely with the One God, from Whom He once proceeded from, as the Word of God given flesh? 'Alpha & Omega' is a very strong loaded phrase that can only be denoted to God, to which the risen Jesus Who sits at the right Hand of God, makes claim to ( Colossians 3:1; Hebrews 10:12; 1 Peter 3:22). If the 'only one God now is Jesus', what happened to the Father, Whom Jesus sits beside? Jesus not only prayed to His Father whilst He walked on Earth, but now reigns with Him ( Revelation 3:21; Revelation 7:10).
